Super cute cafe with a great view, good coffee and incredibly lovely staff :)) I'd love to come back!

Very friendly service and a lovely atmosphere. The menu was varied and the food was delicious.

Yesterday, I went to Eiscafe Evelyn with my 14 guests for coffee for a special birthday. I had ordered a place setting for everyone. This means that everyone will receive a piece of cake and a slice of torte. However, in preliminary discussions, I learned that several guests don't eat cake or torte at all, only savor savory meals, or simply forgo them due to diabetes. So, I called at the beginning of the week and said we'd prefer to eat à la carte, and everyone could choose what was available. That was possible. When 15 of us arrived at the café yesterday, there were about 8 slices of torte left, a few slices of cake, and some apple strudel. When I asked if there were more in the refrigerator if the cake was gone, I was told, "No, you didn't order a place setting. There's only what's on display." As the birthday girl, I decided to forgo cake and eat a slice of apple strudel instead. The remaining slices of cake were eaten by other guests, or some of them, embarrassed, ordered ice cream. Some didn't eat anything at all because they don't like sweets. A Darjeeling tea they ordered was served as Assam tea. My guests, however, still wanted their Darjeeling tea. There was no apology, but instead a very snippy question about what they were supposed to do with the Assam tea. The tea bag was still wrapped in a plastic bag next to the cooled water. The cakes and ice cream were of perfectly fine quality. After I was finished, a Sachertorte was conjured out of the refrigerator, although I unfortunately no longer had an appetite after my slice of apple. I was very disappointed. There was no apology at all. And yes, the communication with the waitress was not very friendly either. I felt very embarrassed in front of my guests. Not because of the quality, but because of the service, and therefore I can no longer recommend this ice cream parlor, this restaurant, which we used to enjoy visiting from time to time.

If you like frozen food, you won't be disappointed. The waitress unfortunately didn't understand that we assumed the vegetables were fresh at these prices. "So? We always do it like this!" she replied, completely indifferent. "It doesn't even say on the menu that the vegetables are fresh!" We would have preferred a more sympathetic ear for our friendly criticism instead of this rude response. It's a shame, because given its location and the surroundings, this cute little restaurant has much more potential. We would certainly have come back for a cold beer by the water... But definitely not after such treatment. Luckily, here in Köpenick, you can sit anywhere by the water, enjoying a lovely meal, and be served warmly.

A very nice location and delicious food, but unfortunately, not for us. We were ignored for about 10 minutes and then turned away somewhat harshly. Unfortunately, we hadn't pre-ordered. Our birthday girl was very disappointed. We won't be going back again.

Unfortunately, we're only visiting Berlin, and I stumbled across this lovely place by chance via Google. We would definitely come back on our next visit. From the ambiance right on the Müggelspree (beautiful outdoor terrace), to the first-class service from the extremely friendly staff, and the food was a definite A! We had various tapas for starters, which were truly delicious and reasonably priced. Topped off by the main courses, here I had the Schnitzel Spreeblick... I haven't had such a great schnitzel in a long time, with the vegetables and hollandaise sauce... A dream. Almost forgot: They even serve delicious homemade lemonade. We will be back! Absolutely worth it! Thank you :-)

We had the pleasure of gathering at Café Evelin after a life celebration and are beyond thrilled! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The owner was always available and organized everything with professionalism and passion. The food (we had a buffet), the service, and the cakes – simply amazing! Everything tasted excellent, and the entire atmosphere was very inviting and warm. It was the perfect place for our get-together, and we were thoroughly pampered. We highly recommend Café Evelin!

A very nice restaurant with friendly staff. However, the value for money is seriously poor. It's asparagus season, so I ate an asparagus schnitzel, as did three other people at my table. It felt like a regular schnitzel had been cut into four pieces; there was even a noticeable cut edge. For around €25, the portion was definitely too small, so we left still hungry.

A great restaurant, delicious food, and friendly service. Unfortunately, there's no Wi-Fi, but that's not so noticeable given the beautiful ambiance.

We celebrated a family birthday in Café Evelin on May 2nd and had an all-round successful day. The rooms in combination with the homemade buffet offered the perfect setting for our celebration. The food was excellent - fresh, varied and lovingly prepared. We were particularly impressed by the vegetarian offering and the fact that all requests were taken into account and the service was warm and attentive. The location directly on the Spree is beautiful, and the large children's playground in the immediate vicinity made the day relaxing and entertaining for the children too. While regular operations continued on the terrace, we felt like we were in good hands and were able to enjoy the celebration to the fullest. Many thanks to the entire team. We'd love to come back.

I celebrated a big birthday at Evelin’s Cafe-Restaurant at the weekend. I was very satisfied from the initial consultation to the implementation. We decided on the time from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. and a buffet. My guests and I were very positively surprised by the extensive range of food on offer, which we couldn't finish. It was offered to put the remaining food in reusable packaging and keep it refrigerated until we left. Great service, I hadn't thought of that at all! Given the sunny weather at the weekend, the Evelin's Cafe-Restaurant team spontaneously provided us with some additional places to sit outside. We were able to enjoy the beautiful weather and the view of the Spree with coffee and cake. In summary, great advice, a great and rich buffet, and most importantly, a very friendly and attentive staff, which contributed to a great birthday party. Thank you for that, Bernd Kaßebaum

Dear team, I ordered from you for the first time via a delivery service - I am totally thrilled. The portions were larger than I thought with deliveries. The packaging was very nice. And the quality of the food was commendably high 10!! And I also found the message in the delivery bag particularly nice, explaining why the delivery was later than announced - because the delivery driver arrived at the restaurant much too late. There were four of us on Easter Sunday yesterday! Everything was perfect! The service and food were great! Many thanks to the entire team for the lovely afternoon.

We stumbled upon this café by pure chance while driving home, and what a find it was! Nestled right on the riverbank, it has an incredibly cozy atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. But what stood out the most was the cleanliness—absolutely spotless! It’s such a pleasure to be in a place where every little detail is taken care of. The staff were warm and welcoming, creating a friendly, relaxed vibe that made our visit even better. We ordered an apple strudel and a Käsekuchen at first, both of which were delicious. But the apple strudel was so incredibly good that we couldn’t resist ordering another one! Honestly, it was the best strudel I’ve ever had. I have a feeling we’ll be coming back here again)

Dear team, we celebrated New Year's Eve with you. Hats off, it was super organized and lovingly set up. Whether program, food and drinks - there is simply nothing to complain about. The boss and his girls tried very hard to ensure that everyone could slide into 2025 happily.

The best thing: the location on the water - with seating inside, in the winter garden and outside. Food: Soljanka without sausage (they wanted to ask in the kitchen whether it was vegetarian or I just didn't get any pieces. I'm still waiting for the answer today), thawed frozen cake, watery coffee. Everything is eatable/drinkable - but nothing more. For us, 4.5 on average is completely overrated.

We live right next to the café and go there to eat more often... one thing always bothered us... when there are dishes with hollondaise sauce or the dishes are listed like that on the menu and come to the table... it's exactly one small dollop of sauce present! For a dish that usually costs €20 or more and is advertised as having sauce on the menu...we actually expect sauce! We already asked a waitress about it, but she couldn't or didn't really want to say anything about it ADDENDUM: I was with you on September 3rd, 2024 and unfortunately nothing has changed in this regard! I went to the chef and he said that the boss wrote it that way and he couldn't do anything about it! For a dish over €20, you can expect a little more sauce and not just a dollop on the vegetables, as it is definitely understood differently on the menu

On Sunday August 25th, 2024 we celebrated a big birthday with family and friends in Café Evelyn. The consultation with the boss was extremely pleasant for us; all of our little extra requests were immediately accepted. So it was very calming, looking forward to the big celebration. It's such a nice atmosphere, we had great weather and the covered terrace was beautifully set for 34 of us. The food was really tasty and plentiful...but the service was so attentive, something you rarely experience in this form these days. I and all my guests say THANK YOU to the entire team for the wonderful day 👍👍

We were rafting on the Spree and stopped at Evelins for lunch. We were warmly greeted at the jetty and helped to get on and off. It's nice to sit in the countryside with a view of the Spree, the food is varied and the portions are large.

We were there for the first time yesterday and had lunch and ice cream. Food was super tasty, only the mushrooms were in the sauce for too long and what's not possible at all, we had ordered 1st beer and 1st special and they forgot the special, and before that they forgot to bring us the flower vase for this For the price we paid, everything should have worked without any problems.

There is a large sign on the shore stating that moorings are only for restaurant guests. However, when we moored, we couldn't get to the shore because the jetty was locked. At the telephone number given there was only a slightly annoyed lady who said she had nothing to do with the jetty and that we should look for another place. We then went to the ark, it was very nice there!

Es ist schwierig, wenn man herein kommt und das Erste, was man mitbekommt ist, wie der Chef sein Personal vor den Gästen zusammen faltet. Darauf hin wurden die Gäste übereifrig behandelt. Noch nicht ganz am Tisch sitzend war schon die Frage nach den Getränkewünschen zu vernehmen. Unangenehm ist auch die Anrede per "du". Darauf angesprochen hieß es, das sei nun mal so und auch der Chef wünscht das. Da muss intervenieren: das ist überhaupt nicht üblich, sonst wäre uns das gar nicht aufgefallen. Das Essen hat zwar geschmeckt, machte aber nicht den Eindruck von frisch zubereitet. Eher wie Fertigessen aufgewärmt. Für uns war es das letzte Mal im Evelin's.

Kann man machen, kein großer Anspruch!

Nettes kleines Restaurant am Wasser. Die Speisen sind lecker. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Ein kleiner Hinweis: Hier kriegt man Schlagermucke rund um die Uhr. Nicht jedermanns Geschmack...

Jedes Mal wenn ich meine Mutter besuchte fahren wir hin. Ist einfach schön da und sogar einen Parkplatz bekommt man

Wir haben uns nach einem Testessen dafür entschieden, einen runden Geburtstag mit 24 Gästen im Evelin`s zu feiern. Kulinarisch haben wir uns für eines von mehreren angebotenen Buffets entschieden, welches wirklich super war. Es war wie abgesprochen zusammengestellt und in sehr hoher Qualität, was uns auch von allen Gästen bestätigt wurde. Vielen Dank dem Personal, welches uns jederzeit das Gefühl gab, herzlich willkommen zu sein. Sollten wir erneut eine Familienfeier planen, werden wir wieder beim Evelinè anfragen. Wir wünschen dem Team für die Zukunft alles Gute und wir sehen uns wieder.

Ein hübsches Restaurant an der Spree, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit einer sehr leckeren Küche und einem sympathischen Service und Chef. Wir haben uns bei unserem Fantreffen, wie auch bei privaten Besuchen immer sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt.

Ein wunderschön gelegendes Ausflugsziel. Das Essen war sehr gut, die Getränke hervorragend. Und nun zu etwas besonderes. Die Bedingung, wir hatten das Glück von Sandy bedient zu werden, jeder Gastronom würde sich zerreißen um solch eine Mitarbeiterin zu bekommen. Sehr nett, aufmerksam und einfach sensationell. Zehn Sterne für solch eine Mitarbeiterin. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Direkt am Wasser, Spree Blick bisschen zugewachsen. Solides Essen, Fische, Currywurst, Schnitzel. Lecker und dabei günstig.

Neu aufgebaut, gut ausgestattet, ordentlich hergerichtet. Wer das alte Evelin’s kennt der wird sich wundern. Leider war und ist man am Ende etwas enttäuscht Preis Leistung stimmen nicht mehr. Oder haben noch nie gestimmt? Ich weiß es nicht. Für deutsche Tapas fast nen Zehner verlangen aber gefühlt für dreifuffizig servieren. Ein Krautsalat der gefühlt zu allem gereicht wird holt nix raus und kommt mit Verfeinerung auch aus dem Conveniencebereich. Edit: Danke für die schnelle Antwort. Und! Fair finde ich es zu sagen: macht weiter so. Bäckchen dem Gast näher zu bringen ist super kreativ und immer eine Empfehlung Wert.

Nette Umgebung, netter Service, leckeres Essen und Getränke, was will man mehr...

Ich war heute mit meinen beiden Brüdern da. Obw ohl wir schon kurz vor 11.30 Uhr da waren - das Eiscafe öffnet offiziell um 12.00 Uhr, wurde uns ein Tisch zugewiesen und wir wurden zeitnah bedient. Dafür ein großes Lob an die Bedienung!!! Die Erdbeer-Eisbecher haben sehr gut geschmeckt und der Blick auf die Müggelspree mit den vorbeifahrenden Booten haben das Verweilen abgerundet. Ich komme gerne wieder - vielen Dank.

Ein hübsches Lokal am Wasser mit sehr freundlicher Bedienung. Das Essen zum Teil sehr gut ... mein Huhn ist in der Pfanne zum 2x "gestorben" schade. Aber wir kommen bestimmt noch mal wieder.

Ist ein gemütlicher Ort und hat sogar einen kleinen Kinderspielplatz. Das Essen war lecker und kam schnell auf den Tisch. Der Service war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich war mit meinen Kindern hier und jeder kleine Wunsch wurde erfüllt.

Sehr zur empfehlen. Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen und Entspannen. Sehr freundliche Bedienung und der Kuchen war fantastisch. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Essen sehr lecker. Wir hatten Schnitzel mit Gemüse und Seelachs mit warmen Linsen. Sehr gut, mit Ausnahme der Gemüsebeilage beim Schnitzel = etwas geschmacklos. Aber sonst alles gut und zu empfehlen. Sehr schönes Restaurant, auch außen toll gemacht. Parkplätze knapp.

Das Evelin‘s kann ich von Herzen weiterempfehlen. Wir hatten heute ein kleineres Familientreffen (3 Generationen). Alle waren vom Ambiente und der Qualität der Speisen total begeistert. Dazu kam die liebevolle Betreuung durch das Service-Team (auch unser Hund wurde nicht vergessen!). Passend für uns waren der schöne Blick auf die Spree und die Spielmöglichkeiten für die Kids.

Gestern sind meine Freundin und ich nach einem Spaziergang am Wasser zum zweiten Mal hier eingekehrt und waren wieder begeistert. Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung und das Essen war mega lecker. Wir hatten das Schnitzel mit Pommes und den Rotbarsch mit lauwarmem Kartoffelsalat. Das Bierchen dazu war gut gekühlt. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder und können diese Lokalität guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen. TOP!!!

Wir (Eltern mit Kind) sind häufiger dort zu Gast. Wir gehen gerne hier Essen und möchten hier einfach sachliche Kritik anbringen. Pro: - Freundliche Bedienung, man merkt die Angestellten geben sich Mühe, auch wenn mal viel los ist - Angenehmes Ambiente mit dem Blick aufs Wasser, Spielgelegenheit für Kinder (+ toller Spielplatz nebenan) - egal ob Mittagessen, Kuchen oder Eis, es wird sich immer Mühe beim anrichten gegeben Contra: - unserer Meinung nach vergleichsweise hohe Preise (sind hauptsächlich in Köpenick und Umgebung unterwegs) - Portionen könnten etwas größer sein - Kleiner Tipp: Ein oder zwei Schaufeln für die Kids oder anderes Spielzeug wäre toll, nur das große Boot inklusive der Plastikboote ist etwas langweilig

Wir sind schon ein paar mal dort gewesen und wurden noch nie enttäuscht. Das Essen ist immer super und die Bedienung sehr nett. Schnitzel „Spreeblick“ ist unser Favorit 😂👌👍🏻 Die Speisekarte ist klein und kompakt, was für mich ein Zeichen von guter Qualität ist. Wir kommen natürlich sehr gern wieder.

Waren zum 1. Mal im Evelin's, in der fälschlichen Annahme, dass dies noch ein reines Eiscafe sei. Das Ambiente im Garten direkt an der Spree ist schön! Auch die Eiskarte sah sehr appetitanregend aus. Leider entsprachen die Eisbecher dann in keinster Weise der Karte. Eissorten nicht alle identisch, Garnierung nicht ansatzweise wie auf der Karte und vorallem die Früchte (sehr saure Büchsenaprikosen) entsprachen nicht dem Preis von 8,95 €. Die freundliche Nachfrage bei der Servicekraft ergab, dass es bei den Eissorten manchmal Lieferschwierigkeiten gäbe und man immer etwas anderes habe und die Früchte natürlich nicht frisch seien. Das kennen wir von anderen Cafés definitiv besser, gerade jetzt in der Sommersaison. Komischerweise sollten wir dann die Eisbecher nicht bezahlen, wenn sie uns nicht geschmeckt hätten. Natürlich haben wir das abgelehnt (trotzdem sollte hier eine Anpassung von Karte und tatsächlicher Leistung erfolgen)! Kleiner Tip, wahrscheinlich soll es an der Müggelspree "P" romenade heißen, oder ist der Fehler gewollt?

Wir haben vor 2 Wochen unsere Hochzeit im Evelyn gefeiert und ich muss sagen, dass es wirklich mega war. Ganz besonderer Dank geht an Sandra und ihre Mädels und Jungs, die uns den Abend über sehr liebevoll zur Seite standen. Sandra hat meine Dekovorgaben perfekt umgesetzt, nicht zu wenig und nicht zu aufdringlich. Die ganze Organisation war wirklich super! Meine Erwartungen wurden komplett übertroffen. Danke auch an Rick und seinen Koch! Das Buffet war geil! Danke Euch Allen ❤️

Sehr schönes Café, direkt am Wasser, lädt zum Kaffee trinken und verweilen ein.

Wir waren das erste Mal hier auf dieser schönen Aussenterrasse mit Blick aufs Wasser. Der Service war super, der Eisbecher und der Kaffee auch. Meine 97jährige Mutter hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt, dad Personal war rührend um sie besorgt. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Eine nette Lokalität unmittelbar am Wasser und schönem Freisitz. Es war mittlerweile unser zweiter Besucht dort (Geburtstag meiner Oma). So lässt sich auch das Publikum einordnen. Eher ältere Semester (es gibt ein Seniorengericht in kleiner Portionsgröße). Reservierung ist zu empfehlen. Einfach Platz suchen ist da nicht. Auf der Karte ist für jeden was dabei, auch für die Vegetarier/Veganer. Der Fisch war sehr lecker. Wickeltisch, Kinderhochstuhl und kleiner Sandkasten mit Holzboot macht es aber auch für Familien interessant. Aber dauert natürlich einige Zeit bis das Essen kommt, wenn der Laden rappel voll ist. Einen Stern ziehe ich ab für die Preise der Speisen und die Inflexibilität gegenüber Wünschen. Das Service-Personal war dennoch außergewöhnlich freundlich. Sanitärräume neu und sauber - toll!

Top Lage, direkt am Wasser, netter Service und tolle Kuchenauswahl, schöner Biergarten

Nach Neuaufbau das erstmal da gewesen. Essen ist sehr gut und Bedienung sehr nett. Alles in allem, wir kommen gern wieder.
