Essbar in Worms

Wenn es dort keine schlechten Sachen gibt, kann man sich nicht mal eine Dusche leisten. Schlechter Service und dazu noch die Gebühr von 11 € pro 100 € Abhebung am Geldautomaten. Am besten hebt man hier gar kein Geld ab.

Immer zu wenn es noch offen sein sollte

Alle Mitarbeiter müssen einen Hygienekurs einhalten. Ich habe hinten in der Küche gesehen, dass die Angestellten beim Umgang mit Lebensmitteln keine Handschuhe tragen. Eine Frau kam von draußen herein und fasste ungewaschen direkt ins Essen, und die Bedienung trug Ringe an den Fingern… Ich habe das Essen weggeworfen, als ich nach draußen ging.

Solange die Preise so hoch sind, braucht man sich nicht über die schlechte Bewertung zu wundern !!!

Wir haben keine Getränke bestellt, weil die Schlange so lang war. Die Toiletten sind in Ordnung, es läuft Musik, als wäre man in einem Ferienresort.

Das Essen war ungenießbar, die Wartezeit war lang und es war im Verhältnis zur Qualität teuer. Das Personal war unmotiviert und sprach kein Englisch.

Das Essen war schlecht und sehr teuer, schmeckte nicht, lange Wartezeiten – bloß nicht hingehen!!!

Worst currywurst of my life. The currywurst with fries on the €7 menu is no bargain, but it's quite standard at a gas station. The fries were crispy and delicious. But the "sausage" had little to do with the bratwurst pictured on the advertising sign. This was more like a fully synthetic boiled sausage full of flavorings. It was truly inedible. The atmosphere was otherwise quite okay for a gas station.

For espresso in Germany OK. Too bad that with the adjusted amount of espresso the button was pressed again, which resulted in weaker coffee. Just like everywhere else very expensive.

Good place to stop by and eat. Staff were very friendly, and the place was very clean. Pro tip: if you’re travelling on a holiday, good chances that this place won’t run out of snacks (e.g sandwich, paninis etc.)

Employees don't feel like working. People prefer to have private discussions in the small room on the left at an inappropriate volume. If you stand in line at the checkout, you are ignored (two employees clearly saw me). So go to the self-service counter to take your order. This order was initially ignored for 10 minutes because at 5:09 p.m. they were already busy cleaning the kitchen and counters. Then someone took pity and prepared the fries I ordered Mexican style. The taste of the dish was okay. Unfortunately, the employees here are unpleasant, which is why I can't really recommend the dining bar. Cleanliness in the restaurant was ok.

Saturday 2:42 pm - kitchen closed?!

It's 5:30 p.m. there's a sign there. Kitchen closed 🙄🙄🙄. Honestly, what normal person buys a facility to cook food when I'm hungry and the prices are exorbitant and that thing doesn't produce anything. And now I'm hungry. There's nothing to eat when you go to bed on an empty stomach. Just make the gas station a pure parking space outside. Has the same effect. Incredible

Very expensive. Ordered a cappuccino, but the foam disappeared after 30 seconds. Too bad about the almost 4 euros.

One of the most depressing places I’ve ever visited. It felt like part of me died when I walked in. The atmosphere is bad and you can feel it the first step you put in to this place. They have banners with quite a broad selection of meals including many salads. When you try to order, only one terminal is working (which is not enough when there is a queue of hungry and tired people waiting behind you) and you will find out that many meals are not available. The food itself is mediocre. It is not bad, but they have almost no healthy alternatives.

Essbar menus are reasonable for the price. You can also use more than 1 voucher from the toilet voucher all at the same time to deduct from your food & drinks. I think the same goes for the coffee bar next to Essbar, you can also the voucher(s) if you have any. Coffee & Snacks are not cheap. For young kids, they also have a small indoor playground. If you feel eating outdoor they have enough space tables & chairs. They also have shower station which is cool if ever you feel the need to do so, after a long day/night driving. Toilets has it's own automatic self cleaning, which is great if they are using the right cleaning products for this type of automated machines. Oh btw tanking here is not cheap compare to others. So we only took ½ tanked. So overall its a good pits stop.

Very good food. Unfortunately closed early in the afternoon, so it's not possible to have dinner there.

A spontaneous review of a motorway service station. Especially because I received great advice and service from the lady at Essbar. Ambiance typical AB rest stop, but neat and very clean.

Good for a quick stop. The vegan burger can be much tastier, not recommended at all. The service could be also better.

No milk alternatives available for cappuccino. Sad these days.

Friendly and quick service. The schnitzel was typical of a fast food restaurant. Simply prepared and typically cooked. The Serways toilet operator barely missed one star. 🌟 As so often, a € for nothing.

The Essbar chain is always worth a stop. Really delicious.

The food is very good and is served in porcelain bowls. Everything is also very clean and tidy. If you have a dog, you can go for a nice tour of the nearby vineyards.

Very nice staff. You were asked directly whether you had vouchers and were an ADAC member so that it would be cheaper. Food surprisingly tasty and large portions. Was freshly prepared. Always my pleasure.

Ich wollte hier einen Kaffee/Cappucchino/Heißgetränk trinken während meiner Pause. Allerdings gibt es hier weder laktosefreie Milch, noch andere Alternativen. Angestellte sind total lustlos, nicht waren andere Gäste da. Das nächste Mal meide ich diesen Ort. Die Raststätte auf der anderen Seite ist genauso schlimm.

Het was lekker rustig en het eten was goed. Vriendelijke medewerker en de locatie was goed schoon.

Sauber und guter Kaffee. Danach wird es dunkel. Der Serways Automat- mit 1€ schon sehr teuer- bescheisst. Ich musste 1,40€ zahlen. Das Personal kann da nix machen. Ach ja, nur ein Bon einlösbar und nur für essen und trinken. Besser woanders versuchen, wenn’s geht.

Die Bedienung war super nett. Das Essen war sehr lecker und eine große Portion.

Quick stop. Food is better than most, especially the bratwurst - simple but good. One personnel in the food cashier that we met, could be kinder. Or could try understanding that not all those who make these stops can speak German. We were trying to make her understand that we dont apeak German and she just launched into whatever she was saying - in German (like I don't care if you dont get what I'msaying). If she doesn't speak English, she could have been more understanding and just used sign language or something. Someone who works in a place like this where different kinds of people stop to rest and eat (AND GIVE THEM SOME BUSINESS) must be kind and flexible enough.

Trochę takie ciotki klotki tu pracują. Bar zamknięty póki co. W kibelkach czysto. Prysznic 3euro. Standard w DE. Sporo miejsc parkingowych dla Lkw i Bus. W sumie polecam jako dobrą przystań na krótką pauze. Kierowca.

Zeer nette locatie. Geen schreeuwerige verkoop maar een keurige uitstraling, schoon, vriendelijk personeel. Voldoende keuze in maaltijden, grote porties, gratis refiill, en niet onbelangrijk, zeer goed eten. Te bereiken via het tankstation.

Leider nur eine 2 Sterne das Essen der Essbar ist super Top Qualität sehr lecker. Leider und deswegen der Abzug kann man als Lkwfahrer nicht mehr darauf bauen ab 21 Uhr komplett tote Hose nicht mal mehr eine kleine Nachtkarte und erst ab 8 Uhr wieder was zu essen. Super Konzept aber keine Zukunft mehr mit diesen Zeiten und ohne Nachtkarte. Das 24 Stunden offen noch drinnen zu haben ist schwach und irreführend für Leute die auf ein solches Angebot angewiesen sind da ja mittlerweile alle Städte zu sind und nirgends ein Platz ist um mal etwas warmes zu Essen zu kaufen.

Preise für eine Raststation in Ordnung, geschmacklich O.K., Portionen ausreichend groß. Sauberes Restaurant.

Guter Rastplatz. Bei größeren Andrang ist die eine Kaffeemaschine überfordert.

Hierbei handelt es sich um einen Schnellimbiss ähnlich MC Donalds. Bürger sind gut aber trotz Angebot sehr teuer.

Unieke eetgelegenheid, heerlijke menu's met lekkere friet.

Die Portionen sind etwas klein zu dem Preis. Daher nur vier Sterne. Die Qualität ist gut und das Essen ist frisch zubereitet.

Tussenstop om te tanken en een hapje te eten. Heel proper en ruime keuze voor een hapje!

Die EssBar ist eine saubere und ordentliche Gaststätte. Die Gerichte sind Fast Food und doch einmal anders. Kaum ist jedoch ein Bus angekommen, ist der Service überrannt und es entstehen lange Wartezeiten. Dennoch bleibt der Service freundlich und verbindlich. Eine der wenigen Raststätten, wo ich ein zweites mal halten würde.
