We visited for the buffet on a Friday evening. The staff member who served us was super nice. The buffet was extensive and delicious. I particularly like the ambiance. It feels a bit like an old western. Really well done. We'll be back!

Unfortunately, the food at the buffet is not recommended. The ambiance is nice, but unfortunately, it's very smoky due to the food being prepared in the restaurant. Service was very friendly at first, but deteriorated considerably over the course of the evening... We're still waiting for a drink we ordered today... It's a real shame. We were looking forward to a lovely evening, but unfortunately, Espitas was a huge disappointment.

We spontaneously stopped by Espitas in Chemnitz one evening when they were serving a buffet. This gave us the opportunity to try a variety of dishes for a reasonable flat rate. The dishes were frequently refilled, and the meat was also freshly prepared. The service staff was very friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. We'd love to come back!

Wir haben unkompliziert über die Website einen Tisch für drei Personen im oberen Bereich des Espitas Chemnitz reserviert. Die Bestätigung kam schnell per E-Mail – ein gelungener Start. Vor Ort wurden wir freundlich empfangen und direkt zu unserem Tisch begleitet. Die Getränkekarte war bereits am Tisch, und man konnte zwischen Bestellung per QR-Code oder klassisch über die Servicekraft wählen. Da das Restaurant gut besucht war, haben wir unsere Getränke bequem per QR-Code bestellt – diese kamen zügig, zusammen mit der Speisekarte. Besonders erwähnenswert: Unsere Servicekraft Patricia hat uns proaktiv auf den „Taco Tuesday“ hingewiesen (alle Tacos 50 % günstiger) – eine tolle Aktion, die wir schon von früheren Besuchen kannten. Patricia war während des gesamten Abends aufmerksam, freundlich und immer in der Nähe, sodass wir keine unnötigen Wartezeiten hatten – auch nicht beim Nachtisch. Das Essen war wie immer frisch, ansprechend angerichtet und geschmacklich überzeugend. Natürlich ist es kein authentisch-mexikanisches Essen wie vor Ort in Mexiko, aber in der europäischen Interpretation sehr gelungen. Einziger Wermutstropfen – und Grund für den Abzug eines Sterns: Trinkgeld kann man nur noch in bar geben. Früher war es möglich, direkt digital per QR-Code der jeweiligen Servicekraft ein Trinkgeld zu geben – laut Aussage einer Mitarbeiterin wurde dieses System leider eingestellt. Sehr schade, gerade in einem sonst so modernen Restaurantkonzept. Fazit: Sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant mit leckerem Essen und herausragendem Service. Wir kommen gerne wieder – hoffentlich bald auch wieder mit digitaler Trinkgeldoption!

We are here for the second time and are still thrilled with the selection of food, a lot of it has a slight spiciness, but there is also a lot of kids here and the service is always friendly and quick when clearing away or picking up drinks. Ambiance is also nice accompanied by Mexican music

Service OK, waitresses friendly. The prices for the drinks and dishes are significantly too expensive for what you get. The decor is cool but the food has very little to do with Mexico.

We drive an extra hour there because we don't have anything comparable nearby. We were there on Friday evening for the buffet. The food is varied. We celebrated the children's birthday - there is plenty of choice not only for adults, but also for children. The play area with climbing fun and ball pit is worth its weight in gold. The serving team is friendly. The price-performance ratio is right. We would love to come back! Everything was really great, except for one small thing - the fumes from the kitchen come into the seating area and our clothes smell strongly of the kitchen afterwards.

ESPITAS...always a taste experience for the palate and visually beautifully presented 😋 ..we were here in Chemnitz for the first time today on Maundy Thursday, ordered a table online on Wednesday evening and got to the restaurant 1:30 hour early. We were even allowed to choose a table ourselves 👍🏼. The staff was young and very dynamic and above all extremely FRIENDLY 😊. We have never received such a warm welcome and the staff even introduced themselves by name, it was really great service. The selection “à la carte” was very large and there was a wide range of dishes for every guest. The price-performance ratio is also right and everything from starter to main course to dessert is included and, above all, VERY DELICIOUS. ALWAYS happy and HIGHLY recommended 👍🏼..we will 100% come back 😉..there is also a large parking lot in the inner courtyard.

Absolutely outrageous. I ordered ribs and tacos from Lieferando for a total of €42. The ribs were ice cold, incredibly dry, and about as tender as a dog chew toy. They were carelessly slapped with the wrong sauce, nothing glazed or anything... But the absolute scam were the tacos for €19.90: 4 tacos, each with about 30 grams of meat, which, according to the description, were filled with onions and mild peppers... "filled" is the wrong word... each taco came with about a ring of onion and one or two slices of jalapenos. Also stone cold. For that price, that's an absolute outrage. I hope the driver doesn't have to give any of the tip, because even though we restaurateurs live off tips, this bullshit doesn't deserve anything like this!

We went to the buffet evening and were greeted very friendly by Sascha. Our request for a seat was also implemented, so that the children had a short distance to the play paradise. The food was varied and very tasty. Sascha always gave us good advice when it came to drinks and looked after us well throughout the evening. We'll be back :)

The service was absolutely perfect – attentive, friendly, and always there when you needed anything. Overall, a very good experience, with minor reservations regarding the portion size.

We went to the BBQ brunch with the family (9 people) and everyone was full. Our waitress, Patricia, was very nice and attentive. The extra drinks came to the table quickly and were delicious. When eating, everyone could take whatever and how much they wanted.

We went to the buffet at Espitas Chemnitz with five adults, a toddler and a baby - and it was simply fantastic! The selection was huge, the food was incredibly tasty and authentically Mexican. From spicy tacos to tender meat to delicious desserts - everyone gets their money's worth here. We were particularly impressed by the child-friendly atmosphere: Tobeland was a real highlight for our toddler, while we were able to relax and enjoy the food. A huge thank you goes to Sascha, who looked after us perfectly throughout the evening! Friendly, attentive and always on hand – this is how you feel completely at home as a guest. We'll definitely be back! If you are looking for authentic Mexican food and great service in Chemnitz, you should definitely try Espitas. Absolute recommendation! 🌮🔥

The food was pretty good, a lot too but you could have it packed up. The sweet mouse Sascha served us very nicely and mouseily, definitely a cool dude. I recommend it 💯

So far, every trip to Espitas has been positive. This was also our last visit. The employees are always very polite and always try to make you feel comfortable as a customer. The food is very good, whether a la carte or buffet. Here you can eat, drink and spend a lovely evening with family and friends.

We were at Espitas for a break. The food was delicious. Service was really very good and nice, we felt very comfortable! What I found very negative was the cleanliness!!!! There were cobwebs everywhere, dirt was collecting on the stairs, under the cupboard on the first floor 🤑, unfortunately I was sitting so that I could look underneath, the armchairs needed to be vacuumed and the absolute highlight was the glass surfaces at the counter, sorry but that's not possible!! If you see where the glasses used to be.....

I was in this restaurant on February 15th, 2025 at lunchtime, the price I quoted was just for me. I also had some food. Ambience excellent, food excellent, friendliness excellent. And that's really not a lie, it was my first time here and I recommend it.

Well, we were spontaneously in Chemnitz and reserved a table online. Unfortunately there is only a buffet on Saturday. This offers little choice for this large restaurant and at 28 euros it is very steep for what is on offer. The service was very nice, but quite busy, so you sometimes had to wait longer. The atmosphere is really great and lovingly furnished.

As always an experience with you, service super nice and funny, food plentiful, tasty and varied. My children and I always enjoy coming to you.

I visited Espitas over the weekend for buffet with my wife and a colleague from work. Food: The food was good for a buffet. Great options for protein. Service: The service was amazing. I am still learning my German, but I was glad many could speak English. Our waiter was Darrian(sorry not sure of the name spelling) and he was great throughout. It was evening at 20:30 and he still managed to carry his smile and a great attitude while serving us drinks. He managed to keep a check on on us from time to time if we need anything. Atmosphere/Ambience: It was good but due to the fact the restaurant was almost full we got a table near the heater upstairs. But it was understandable due to too many customers. Overall it was a good experience. I could see myself coming here often.

It was my first time at Espitas. The grill buffet always takes place on Friday and Saturday evenings, where you can't choose your food from the menu, but simply go to the buffet and get it yourself. The food is always freshly prepared and there is a large selection of different Mexican dishes. From starters to dessert, there is something for everyone. The employees were very friendly and always interested in whether everything was OK. We found it a very nice evening.

The food was very tasty, extensive menu and also beautifully served. The location looks very crazy and is well worth seeing. The waitresses could be a bit more on the ball and a bit more service oriented, but all in all really nice and tasty!

The ambience and service were again great. Since we were there for the buffet, we were able to try out many different dishes. The only small disadvantage, which is why it only gets 4 stars, was that most of it was almost cold. But it was still super tasty. 🤤

This is our first time at Espitas in Chemnitz. The location was beautiful and the service was friendly. We had to wait a little longer for our food (approx. 1 hour) because there was a lot going on in the restaurant. From a large selection of dishes, we chose a grill plate for two and shared it, which had plenty of meat on it. It tasted good, but I've had better spare ribs. The seasoning/marinade could have been more intense. Overall, I would always recommend a visit to Espitas!

Rather spontaneously, I looked for a restaurant with my girlfriend for the evening and reserved a table straight away. In the evening there was a buffet with a large selection of dishes, from steak to salad and a sumptuous dessert, there was everything to choose from from Mexican cuisine. The buffet was really great. The ambience in the restaurant was also very well designed, but it is not on the ground floor. We were accommodated in a room with 2 tables, where we also had some peace and quiet for ourselves. Unfortunately, the staff didn't find us straight away because we had to wait a little longer for our bill. But all in all it was a lovely evening in a great restaurant. Absolutely recommended!

It was extremely tasty. Unfortunately, the bench was placed so close to the table that we couldn't enjoy the evening. We were very uncomfortable and always stepped on the feet of those opposite us. It was always a struggle to get up to eat. We always enjoyed being there, but this time we couldn't enjoy the evening.

We were recently invited to Sunday brunch. The service was really great, always friendly and on point. The food didn't really blow you away. In my personal opinion, the brunch didn't have much to do with Mexican food. A lot of things are lukewarm. Scrambling didn't work at all. For the prices I wouldn't recommend it

We had the menu evening, which isn't a bad thing. The food was average, but tacos have to be fresh and not on the buffet (then they won't taste good) just like the fries. The salads were fresh and the meat was tender, but that doesn't justify the price alone. The waiter tried hard but couldn't manage the quantity, so that the used dishes didn't immediately disappear from the table (space problem). He dismissed a broken shaker where a quarter squirted while shaking with: "It's OK. It'll be thrown away, he'll pass it on..."😞. Conclusion: We tried it, but there are really better places. Changed to 4 stars due to the friendly response.

We went here for the all you can eat buffet on a Friday evening. The food was really tasty, you hardly had to wait at the buffet and the service was also very friendly and brought the drinks within a few minutes. Absolute recommendation!

The effort has already been put into the ambience at the entrance, which continues inside! Unfortunately that evening there was only a buffet for €27 plus drinks per person. Unfortunately I won't eat it. The buffet is also not available. Unfortunately the selection is manageable. Too much for one plate and not enough for the second plate. Very unfortunate. This was my second time in this restaurant, unfortunately it's always like that. But you have to pay a compliment, we got a table for 6 people online at 7 p.m. for 8:45 p.m. at short notice! That's already rare!

Good food, nice service Caution: If you book an event for a group, you should read the small print, as all promotions are excluded... As noted by Espitas we got the discount, I forgot to mention that. However, we also had to be steadfast in our insistence. Therefore the notice remains.

We wanted to go out for Mexican food at the weekend, unfortunately on Fridays and Saturdays there is only food in buffet form, we tried it, I'll say we were full, nothing more, the quality of the food at a buffet just can't be the same as good as ordering from the menu and unfortunately intolerances cannot be accommodated, I understand that. Dear Espitas, a buffet evening on the weekend should actually be enough, the dishes on the menu are really good, maybe staffing problems are the reason that this buffet concept is offered, it's a shame!!!

Been to the restaurant exactly four times in the last 12 years. It remains great; the food tastes very good, the drinks are delicious and the atmosphere is nice too. Especially noticed today; the service is very nice, patient and careful. Even the younger colleagues were very committed. I can say I've always liked it here, thank you! Edit: Reply to the owner: I'll definitely come by, if only for the homemade lemonade, it'll definitely be a quick stop in the summer ;) Meanwhile, my family was also able to send me feedback; they bake it up like a backup, solid we have nothing to complain about, and we are German-Russians, We actually complain and curse a lot :D
