Erkrather Hof in Erkrath

Always a pleasure – our favorite restaurant in Erkrath! We eat regularly and very much at the Erkrather Hof - and for good reason: the service is first class, the food is simply amazing and the prices are absolutely fair and humane. You not only feel welcome here, but also really looked after. Special praise goes to the boss and her daughter, who serve with a lot of heart and attention. Her warm nature, her generosity and the little farewell schnapps that she never forgets make every visit special. From a culinary point of view, we would particularly like to recommend the Chivapcici with grilled vegetables – wonderfully seasoned and perfectly prepared. Our absolute favorite remains the steak, which is grilled to perfection every time and leaves nothing to be desired in terms of taste. A varied daily weekly menu always offers something new. A real restaurant with soul – we are already looking forward to the next time!

Unser Besuch in diesem Restaurant war leider eine große Entäuschung. Schon der Service ließ stark zu wünschen übrig. Die Bedienung wirkte dauerhaft gestresst, unorganisiert und gegenüber uns Gästen teilweise sehr respektlos. DAs Essen selbst war qualitativ schlecht. Her war nicht gekocht sondern warmgemacht worden, mit Fertigsossen und bei allen Gerichten mit gleichem Tiefkühl-Gemüse. Lieblos und uninspieriert. Insersamt ein Erlebnis, das wir nicht noch mal haben wollen. Schade um den schönen Abend.

Food is very good, waiting times are adequate and completely within limits. Everything is freshly prepared. The portions are decent ❤️ it's a typical “you go there to eat with your parents” restaurant 😅 good food with quality without being fancy

We were there with a group of 9 people and were placed in a rather small room where around 15-20 other people were sitting at 2 tables. The passage to our table alone was narrower than in the coach. It was very loud in the room. A cozy, quiet meal was out of the question. The food, meat, sauce and side dishes were delicious. But please no frozen peas and carrots. They were just yucky. Positive, dogs allowed. I think if you get a table there for two or four people, then it's quieter and more pleasant to eat there because you're spread out throughout the restaurant. Service was nice and friendly. After the meal there was a nightcap on the house. Unfortunately for me, not a second time.

We always enjoy coming to the Erkrather Hof. The menu is good and offers dishes such as grilled fish or steak. Everyone will find something here. So far everything we've tried has tasted very good. The entire team at Erkrather Hof is very friendly and nice and the service is very good. A visit to the restaurant is highly recommended. We always come back because it tastes very good here and we feel very comfortable in the restaurant.

The restaurant looks rather inconspicuous from the outside. We were pleasantly surprised, the food was very good, the portions were large and the service was very attentive and courteous. We had two different dishes and were very satisfied with them and the starter salad was plentiful.

Soooo friends.... All in all ok. The pike perch fillet wasn't tasty and wasn't cooked through on the inside. The meat from the grill plate was on the grill for too long and somehow everything was missing the finishing touch. But not more on average. Too bad.

Been the new owner for over two years! We have been there several times now and have always been satisfied and thrilled. Great food: large portion, deliciously prepared and presented, extra requests included. Exceptionally friendly staff!!! Catering quickly, even if it is full and stressful (because many people want to go to the town hall for an event afterwards). Conclusion: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! GO.

We have been going to this restaurant for over 10 years now and have never been disappointed. It's always busy and the service is excellent. The food is varied and on point always delicious. The comfort is not neglected either. A larger, separate room is also available for birthdays or larger numbers of people. Definitely an absolute recommendation from me and my family.

Pure disappointment! The restaurant had a very good reputation in the family until the last visit. But that changed completely with the last visit! The food was served lukewarm, the liver was grilled for far too long, the steak was tough, the pork medallions were equally tough. The fries were of lower quality, you can get better ones from the big fast food chains. The salad was dry, the vegetarian dish was also cold and out of the bag! In addition, the prices were increased by 1/3 and the dishes were 1/3 smaller! We will not visit the restaurant again.

We were there twice and loved it! The selection is large, the plates are lavishly filled and the prices are great. The meat is excellently prepared and cooked to perfection. The boss (?) is very friendly. But you should think about other salad bowls. It is almost impossible to eat from it without an accident. The salad inevitably ends up on the tablecloth. 😉

Large selection of delicious dishes. Good portions. Free parking space on the side street. No problem even with a dog. Friendly service. We were completely satisfied.

This is the best restaurant in Erkrath. The food and drinks are first class. The price-performance ratio is great and you should try a Budweiser. A real recommendation and thumbs up. 👍

Very tasty food, service quick and super nice, even though everyone at the table had special requests, implemented perfectly.

Ordered fillet steak medium. Of course it didn't come to the table medium. Baked potato with sour cream was not edible because there was zero salt on the potato! Cucumber salad only covered with a white mush. No salt, no pepper, no onions... Despite an early complaint, I was allowed to pay the full price of €44 for this dish! Never go to this restaurant again!

We were there for the first time today after swimming in the Neanderbad (about 5 minutes away by car). Very tasty food, nice atmosphere and friendly staff, we can only recommend it. We had the gourmet platter for 2 people and have to say, the platter was more than sufficient; We didn't manage to do everything even though we are good eaters. Large selection of fish dishes, steaks, children's plates, vegetarian... We can only recommend it and will definitely come back.

It's not the best cuisine here. The salmon from the daily menu tasted like old fish and the broccoli, like the starter salads, were drowned in bad sauce. The fries were wobbly and the Djuvec rice resembled an old risotto. Meat quality mediocre. Service but very friendly!

Top service and super delicious food. The staff is very polite and attentive. You get full. Prices are adapted to the portions and are fair. The grill plate is recommended. That's why we eat there. You should make a reservation because it is always full. Then it can get louder.

Not like it used to be. There were 4 people there, unfortunately everyone had something to complain about about their food.

Were there last week with almost 30 people. Food a la cart, service was absolutely perfect. The food was excellent and was served quite quickly after ordering. Everyone had their food in just under 4 minutes!!! No errors between the order and what was served. The rest of the restaurant was also full to capacity. Absolutely TOP!!!

Sehr schönes Restaurant gegenüber der Stadthalle und unmittelbar neben einem grossen öffentlichen Parkplatz, ca 50m. ÖNPV-Haltestelle direkt gegenüber bzw. 50m neben dem Parkplatz. Sehr vielseitiges Angeboot an Speisen und Getränken, alles sehr lecker, reichlich und gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die Gastgeberfamilie ist sehr freundlich und engagiert. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir haben das Restaurant seit Jan 2019 wegen 2 schlechter Erfahrungen gemieden. Wegen guter Bewertungen unter neuer Leitung jetzt neue Chance gegeben. Leckeres Essen, guter Service, freundliche Menschen, ehrliche Preise. Wieder ein empfehlenswertes Lokal!

Sehr freundliches Personal, essen wie immer sehr lecker und preiswert, wir haben immer eine Gemüsesuppe als Vorspeise, unser Hauptgericht und eine Nachspeise bekommen und das nur für den Preis fürs Hauptgericht. Es lohnt sich sehr für das leckere Essen das Restaurant zu besuchen.

Ich war heute zum zweiten Mal im Erkrather Hof zum Abendessen. Dieses Mal wurde ich jedoch enttäuscht. Die von mir bestellte Kalbsleber war sehr dünn aufgeschnitten und zu lange gebraten. Wer sich ein wenig in der guten Küche auskennt, weiß, dass Kalbsleber nur wenige Minuten gebraten werden darf. Sie muss noch leicht rose' sein. Außerdem war die Leber an mehreren Stellen mit Sehnen durchsetzt. Ich habe das Gericht dennoch gegessen, wobei ich keinen geschmacklichen Unterschied zwischen einer Kalbsleber und einer Rinderleber feststellen konnte. Meine diesbezügliche Kritik wurde zwar vom Personal entgegen genommen blieb aber ohne Reaktion.

Lecker, freundlich, Lokal im angenehmen Retro-Look.

Wir waren heute zum ersten mal hier essen , da es mir von meiner Familie und Freunden empfohlen wurde. Es war super lecker , das Personal ist stets aufmerksam und super freundlich. Das einzige was ich ein wenig bemängel sind die Stühle draußen , ich find diese Art von Stühle zum Essen ungeeignet, sie sind eher was zum chillen und gemütliches zusammen sitzen , aber nicht um anständig am Tisch zu sitzen und zu essen . Aber das ist auch Geschmack Sache und beim nächsten Mal werden wir dann eben drinnen sitzen. Sonst haben wir uns sehr wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt und die Speisekarte bietet für jeden was an .

Gastfreundschaft wird dort sehr groß geschrieben, die Speisen sind seit Jahren unverändert hervorragend und das schaffen die wenigsten Restaurants. Ein großes Kompliment an die Küche und die gesamte Mannschaft. Das nette Ambiente der Räumlichkeiten auch gerade im Innenhof rundet einen Aufenthalt dort ab. Vielen Dank!

Wir waren vor 2 Wochen spontan im Erkrather Hof essen. Ich kenne das Restaurant schon aus meiner Jugendzeit, war aber seit 20 Jahren nicht mehr dort. Das Essen war genauso gut wie früher und der Service aufmerksam, aber nicht aufdringlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben dieses Lokal durch Zufall bei Google gefunden und sind auf unserer Rheinland Tour das 2. Mal innerhalb von 3 Tagen hier essen. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal und das Essen ist super lecker. Der Wunsch des Gastes wird berücksichtigt. Immer wieder gerne!!

Es ist immer wieder schön im Erkrather Hof essen zu gehen. Schon wenn man reinkommt wird man mehr als höflich begrüßt. Das Restaurant ist Rustikal aber sehr schön. Wir waren 5 Personen und keiner hat etwas auszusetzen gehabt, das Essen war wie immer sehr gut gewürzt, heiß und sehr schön angerichtet. Der Service war auch sehr gut, sehr aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Wir gehen auf jeden Fall da bald wieder essen.

Da gibt's nicht viel zu schreiben. Einmal gut. Immer gut!! Beispiel hier die Gänseplatte für 2 Personen!
