Das beste Schnitzel aller Zeiten! Oh mein Gott, es war himmlisch!

Das Essen war sehr gut, leider wurden überschüssige Tische, die man nicht gebraucht hat, nicht weggeräumt( wie man es besprochen hatte) , dazu stand unsere Kiste mit Müll noch rum.. Das Brautpaar musste immer lange auf ihre Getränke warten und es waren an unserem Tisch keine Gläser & Wasserflaschen aufgestellt. Der Raum für unsere Hochzeit war sehr schön! Aber alles in allem , hätte es besser organisiert werden können , und sich an Absprachen gehalten werden sollen.

Sehr empfehlenswert. Freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Umfangreiche Speisekarte. Angemessenes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Einzig zu bemängeln ist, dass die Spätzle beim (sehr großen) Schnitzel mit Kochkäse recht trocken waren, etwas Soße wäre hier nicht schlecht gewesen. Auch sollte der Kochkäse über das gesamte Schnitzel reichen, war leider nur zu Zweidrittel bedeckt. Beim Jägerschnitzel am Nachbartisch war dies entsprechend mit der Champignon-Sahnesoße genau so. Mein Salatteller mit gebackenem Schafskäse war in Ordnung.

Wir waren hier parallel zu einem Public Viewing im Nebenzimmer und daher war das Restaurant ziemlich leer und ruhig. Der Empfang war freundlich und Getränke und Essen (Handkäse mit Musik und Rumpsteak mit Kräuterbutter und Bratkartoffeln) lecker.

Die Bedienung ist aufmerksam, die Preise fair, das Essen extem lecker. Wenn wir wieder in Erbach sind, ist das unsere 1. Anlaufstelle fürs Abendessen!

Wir kommen einmal im Jahr nach Erbach und gingen immer ins Brauhaus, weil wir rundum zufrieden waren. Leider kann der neuer Pächter dieses Niveau nicht halten. Mein Schnitzel war zwar groß, aber zu trocken und ohne Soße, der Wurstsalat meiner Frau hatte keinen Geschmack und hatte keine Wurstsalat typische Form (feine dünn Geschnittene Streifen) was kein Hexenwerk wäre. Bei so einer Toplage gehört auch eine Topküche dazu.

Wir kamen spontan nach Erbach und haben ebenso spontan im Brauhaus einen Tisch reserviert. Klappte wunderbar. Als wir dann anderthalb Stunden später auf der Karte die Rouladen auf der Karte entdeckten, war sofort klar, was wir essen würden. Wo findet man heutzutage noch Rouladen, Knödel und Rotkraut, ohne selbst in der Küche zu stehen? Meinem Partner haben sie hervorragend geschmeckt, mir persönlich waren sie etwas zu pfeffrig. Aber das ist ein ganz persönliches Ding und sagt nichts über die Qualität des Abendessens aus. Wir hatten einen superangenehmen Abend dort. Salat war super, Hauptgang war super und das Dessert (Schokoladensoufflee mit Eis) mein Highlight. Der Service war - obwohl im Außenbereich jeder Tisch besetzt war - zügig, höflich und wunderbar unaufgeregt, die Wartezeiten absolut im Rahmen. Für drei Getränke, eine Vorspeise, zwei Hauptgerichte, zwei Desserts und einen doppelten Espresso Macchiato haben wir 84.50 bezahlt. Sehr angemessen. Wenn es uns wieder nach Erbach verschlägt, werden wir wieder im Brauhaus einkehren :-)

Gemütliches Gasthaus mitten in Erbach, direkt am Schloss und Elfenbein Museum. Große Auswahl an leckeren Speisen und Getränke. Sehr freundlicher Familienbetrieb.

Service auf der Terrasse sehr angenehmen gut. Freundlich und hilfsbereit. Elektrik (Steckdosen) in die Jahre gekommen, Sauberkeit und Ambiente auf der Terrasse noch befriedigend. Toilette gut. Bier wie es sein muss. Kalt und zisch. Kochkäseschnitzel wie schon von anderen beschrieben - ungenügend. Unter Kochkäse oder Brennkäs versteht der Odenwälder was anderes. Kein Salatdekor oder sonstige Beilage. Zu letzt die dazu gereichten Spätzle - schlichtweg frech. Wahrscheinlich vom Mittag übrig geblieben und in undefinierbarem Öl/Fett geschwenkt. Zwei Gabeln davon waren zwei zu viel. Fazit: Guter Platz für ein Getränk.

Wir waren auf Empfehlung unseres Hotels im Erbacher Brauhaus zum Essen und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Der Service war schnell, aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Meine Frau hatte die Rinderrouladen mit Knödel, ich entschied mich für ein Schnitzel Wiener Art. Beide Gerichte waren geschmacklich hervorragend, frisch zubereitet und rundum lecker. Alles ok….Bedienungen schnell und freundlich….Biergarten toll…drinnen rustikal und gemütlich….leider war das Schnitzel mit grüner Soße trocken ebenso die Schweinshaxe….sehr trocken. War zu lange warm gehalten worden vermutlich. Schade….

Essen war lecker, aber kam relativ kalt am Tisch an. Die Portionsgröße meines vegetarischen Gerichts war im Vergleich zu den üppigen Fleischgerichten sehr gering. Gemüse mit Schafskäse war ok, aber jetzt auch keine kulinarische Meisterleistung. Ambiente ganz ok, urig und traditionell. Schöne Lokation, bei gutem Wetter kann man auch draußen sitzen.

Wir waren hier mit unserer Wandergruppe. Freundliche Bedienung, schmackhaftes Essen zu zivilen Preisen. Was will man mehr?

Sehr schönes, traditionelles Brauhaus mit gemütlicher Atmosphäre und typisch regionaler Küche. Das Ambiente ist urig und lädt zum längeren Sitzenbleiben ein, besonders im Biergarten. Das Essen ist deftig und gut portioniert – klassische Brauhausgerichte wie Schnitzel oder Haxe kommen frisch und geschmackvoll auf den Tisch. Dazu gibt es eine solide Bierauswahl, die gut zur Küche passt. Der Service ist freundlich und insgesamt passt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Insgesamt ein sehr empfehlenswertes Brauhaus für einen entspannten Besuch.

Gerne wieder, der Service war richtig gut, das Essen trotz später Mittagszeit richtig frisch, heiß und sehr lecker. Werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Ganz toll auch dass wir mit unseren Hunden keinerlei Einschränkung hatten. Prima 👍🏻

Wir waren als Gruppe in Erbach / Odenwald. Der Deutsche Klöppelverband hatte an diesem Wochenende seinen Kongress. Ein Abendessen im Brauhaus ist Pflicht. Schon vor Jahren konnten wir das Haus geniessen. Auch in diesem Jahr war alles - OK. Wir sind an disem Abend wieder mit grosser Zufriedenheit ins Hotel zurückgegangen. DANKE beim Personal. PPH.

Wir waren am späten Nachmittag im Erbacher Brauhaus und rundum begeistert! Das Brauhaus ist rustikal und urig eingerichtet – genau so, wie man es sich von einem traditionellen Brauhaus wünscht. Der Service war schnell und aufmerksam, wir zu einer eher ruhigeren Zeit dort waren. Das Essen war lecker, schön deftig und absolut passend zum Brauhaus-Charakter. Wer bodenständige Küche, gemütliches Ambiente und freundlichen Service sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Alt eingegebene rustikale Gaststätte, super lecker, aufmerksame Bedienung und richtig lecker.

Das alte Brauhaus ist was das Ambiente angeht wirklich unschlagbar. Durch die dunklen Räume, die niedrige Decke und die alten Verzierungen fühlt man sich schlagartig ins Mittelalter versetzt. Das Bier ist eigens für das Erbacher Brauhaus gebraut, allerdings leider von einem industriellen Brauer und damit geht das Gefühl handwerklicher Braukunst leider verloren. (Deshalb minus 1 Stern). Das Essen ist gut bürgerlich, sehr gut essbar aber haut einen nicht vom Hocker. (Deshalb minus 1 Stern).

Ambiente rustikal, passend zu einem Brauhaus. Sehr netter schneller Service. Wir hatten Puten Gemüse curry. Es war so lecker! Und noch Käsespätzle, die auch sehr gut waren. Eine schöne Speisekarte.

Wir hatten dort ein Weihnachtsessen mit rund 12 Personen geplant. Meine Kollegin und ich kamen früher an und stellten fest, dass es keinen speziell eingedeckten Tisch gab. Der junge Kellner erklärte, dass ihm die Rückmeldung unseres Sekretariats hinsichtlich der Personenzahl gefehlt habe. Ich benannte dann die Personenzahl und es wurden dann 2 Tische zusammen geschoben. Weihnachtliche Deko oder Eingedeckt Fehlanzeige. Beim Essen ging dann die Enttäuschung weiter: Haxe der einen Kollegin war trocken, meine Ente ebenfalls, Beilagenknödel aus der Packung, Soße ebenfalls Convenience Produkt. Kochkäse-Schnitzel des Kollegen kam mit einer Masse, die keinem lokalen Kochkäse entsprach, sondern eher eine Frischkäsemasse mit etwas anderem war. Seine Spätzlebeilage (warum Spätzle? Dazu gehören Pommes frites oder Kroketten?) lag unter dem Schnitzel und war wohl insgesamt auch entweder zu lange im Salamander oder unter der Wärmelampe gestanden, sodass der Kollege den ganzen Teller reklamierte. Seine Reklamation wurde ignoriert, auch als er den ganzen Teller stehen ließ, kam als einzige Reaktion nur, dass der junge Mann, der zuerst unseren Tisch bedient hatte, nicht mehr an den Tisch kam und stattdessen 2 jüngere Damen bedienten, die diese Reklamation auch ignorierten und meinem Kollegen dann beim Verlassen des Restaurants noch anboten, sein nicht verzehrtes reklamiertes Schnitzelgericht einzupacken. Schlussfolgerung: keine Empfehlung für eine Firmenweihnachtsfeier. Als ich im Sommer 2025 2x dort a la carte gegessen hatte, war alles okay gewesen. Deshalb habe ich noch 3 Sterne gegeben, sonst wären es nur 2 gewesen.

It's wonderful that places like this still exist: a traditional inn with delicious food in a cozy atmosphere! The service is friendly and fast; you simply feel at ease there. The food offers not only generous portions but also truly delicious, home-style cooking. The prices are absolutely fair!

Second time here. The goulash soup was very good again. I had Handkäs mit Musik (a type of cheese with onions and caraway seeds) once. It was awful because it was Harzer Handkäs. Nothing like the Odenwälder Handkäs. The onions and caraway seeds could definitely be improved. Today's pork knuckle with sauerkraut and fries (normally with dumplings) was good. A little more salt on the knuckle would have been great. The meat was juicy. The service was friendly but lacked wit and charm. Completely overwhelmed by the number of guests.

My pork knuckle was cooked to perfection and beautifully crispy. The server was friendly and fun. I would definitely go there again.

We came here for the first time based on the positive reviews. We had reserved a table, but were neither greeted nor welcomed. We only received a greeting after we had already sat down somewhere, which wasn't a problem for us, but from an organizational perspective, I'm used to better service in the restaurant industry. There were three of us, and one drink was forgotten—that can happen—but it took quite a while for it to arrive, even though no other tables were occupied except for a few guests at the bar. Ordering food was complicated because I asked for a non-alcoholic sauce, and the waiter seemed overwhelmed and couldn't suggest an alternative. Unfortunately, we also didn't receive a bill. On the positive side: the burger with fries was very good, and the portions were really large.

The schnitzels are very large, and the price-performance ratio is okay.

I went to eat at the Erbacher Brauhaus with my girlfriend. It was very good. The staff was very nice.

We had a reservation last night. However, we arrived an hour before our reservation time, which wasn't a problem at all. The service was very attentive, quick, and friendly. The food was excellent and plentiful. Whenever we're in Erbach, a visit to the Brauhaus is always a must.

As always, we sat and ate in a wonderful and cozy atmosphere.

Yesterday evening, the four of us went to the brewery, hungry. It seemed quite full, which wasn't surprising given the Christmas market. We were greeted warmly and quickly seated, and our first drink order arrived promptly. However, we then waited a full 90 (!) minutes for our food without receiving any updates. Empty glasses were ignored, as were three other guests who were completely disregarded for 20 minutes before leaving. My salad and rump steak were good, the steak cooked to a perfect medium. The two schnitzels, however, looked rather uninspired and were sparsely garnished with sauce. Overall, this experience doesn't exactly encourage a return visit, and the cozy atmosphere couldn't compensate for it. It seemed as though they were understaffed, even though the young waiter was clearly trying his best – a friendly word at the beginning might have helped. Well, unfortunately, I can't recommend it.

Since the change of ownership, this was our first time back there with our regular group in years. The food is truly excellent, the service is very friendly and welcoming, and the ambiance and charming decor complete the experience. We will definitely be back.

Today, the two of us went to the brewery for lunch for the first time as "tourists passing through," on the recommendation of someone, presumably from Erbach. Everything was as promised: pleasant ambiance, very polite and courteous staff, food freshly prepared – nothing from a microwave; simply delicious; and reasonable value for money. Take your time and stop by the brewery!

Three of us went to the brewery today for dinner. Everyone ordered something different, and all three were delicious, with very generous portions. We especially recommend the beef roulades, as they're rarely found on the menu at other restaurants. The service was excellent, and we really enjoyed the rustic ambiance. We'll definitely be back.

We had baked potatoes with a really well-made green sauce and breaded Jägerschnitzel with spaetzle. The spaetzle were even better than the ones we were served in Swabia. The only thing I wish was the drinks service was a bit faster. But all in all, it was a good day.

I love the Erbacher Brauhaus. It's a shame they no longer serve Erbacher beer in bottles. In the summer, sitting on the terrace, you get a holiday feeling. And the quality of the food is top-notch. Highly recommended

We went there for dinner with our grandparents, and not only they, but we too, were thrilled by the huge portions and the wonderful quality of the food. The price-performance ratio is reasonable. The ambiance is reminiscent of a good German inn and is beautifully decorated. The service was also exceptionally friendly, and overall, the brewery in Erbach is highly recommended and worth a visit, even if you're traveling from a bit further afield.

I was very impressed today. They had a great salad and a very good hunter's schnitzel. The junior schnitzel is something different and highly recommended. Service is excellent, and everything is fresh.

I can't understand some of the reviews. We didn't have to wait long for our drinks or food. The interior and exterior areas weren't dirty, and there weren't any old food or cutlery lying around. The tables were clean and were cleaned immediately after each guest. If there wasn't enough cutlery at the table, it was refilled immediately. Our food was seasoned the way we wanted it, according to our request. The green peppercorn sauce didn't taste run-of-the-mill or store-bought. And for all those complaining that it's no longer a brewery: there is no longer an "Erbacher Brewery" in all of Erbach. It now belongs to the Radeberger Group, and Erbacher beer is brewed elsewhere... Our conclusion: we will eat there again anytime. The value for money is excellent.

We landed here by chance and were lured by the terrace. A very nice spot! The garden furniture seemed a bit unstable, so we sat still so nothing could happen. (No, we don't weigh 150 kilos!) The service, although it wasn't very busy, was somewhat off-key and seemed overwhelmed. We find it unpleasant when different waiters come to the table and then discuss uncertainties or mishaps in front of the guests. It should be done "in the background." After a minor mishap, we found the food very good. I ordered a schnitzel with green sauce. Unfortunately, it was sprinkled with coarse pepper, which I don't like at all and it's actually not customary to do that. It's better to leave the pepper on the table. One small thing that was forgotten: salt and pepper! I sent the schnitzel back and was quickly brought a new one, presumably the same one, stripped of pepper and briefly fried again. I was hungry, so I took it as it was, and it tasted very good with the green sauce. The sun was blazing, and we asked twice for the parasol to be opened. As mentioned, it wasn't busy...so the service wasn't good. The ambiance leaves a lot to be desired. Everything on the terrace is very functional and unloved. I can't comment on the interior, except that it seemed kitschy and very dark when walking through. Renovating the garden furniture, adding a few flowers to the tables, and putting nice napkins would make the whole place look much more inviting and cozy. They're cutting corners here. Overall, we weren't dissatisfied, and there's still plenty of room for improvement. The location alone isn't enough! If we come back to Erbach, we'll definitely stop by again :-) >>> Addendum: More stars for the outdoor area!

A superbly beautiful and beautifully renovated historic brewery. The location is also fantastic—a terrace right on the Schlossplatz. Good German cuisine and very friendly service.

We were here all four evenings we were in Erbach. The outdoor seating was lovely. The food was very varied, delicious, and attractively presented. The Kaiserschmarrn was good for a non-Alpine region, but a bit too dark. The fried potatoes were also a bit too dark. The burger and fries were surprisingly small, but the schnitzel was enormous.

The restaurant is okay. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. The price/performance ratio was good. When the weather is nice, you can sit outside and enjoy the Mümling beer. And the bar in the brewery is non-smoking. Great!

Four of us went there for dinner yesterday. Unfortunately, we had two unpleasant incidents: When the food was served, my mother discovered a black hair in her sauce. We immediately informed the waiter, who apologized. Towards the end of the meal, my aunt also found another black hair in her dish. That was very unpleasant and unfortunately significantly spoiled the overall experience. With two hairs in the food, we would have at least hoped for a more accommodating approach from the restaurant. Not recommended.

I agree with the last review. The food was good, but the service was much too slow. I would have ordered another drink myself if the waiter had come. We had to go inside to pay, which definitely needs to be changed. I had the salad with rump steak, but it wasn't worth €18.00. Some of my plate was just green leaf lettuce.

The food was incredibly delicious. We had the Jäger-style schnitzel. It was a huge portion, we could barely finish it. It was delicious, and the location right on the water is excellent. I'd love to come back and recommend it to everyone. The prices are reasonable 😀

The location is great, the food is excellent. The portions are large, and you'll definitely be full. The lemon sauce on the salmon is more of a cream sauce, but it was still good. The cocktails were okay, but I recommend sticking with the draft beer ;)

Beautiful brewery with good food and a wide selection of beers. Quaint inside, beautiful outside, opposite the castle and along the Mümling River. Very relaxing and pleasant with beautifully planted beds. The service is very attentive; I would have only added a little more salt to the food (but I can do that myself).
