Wir haben letzten Mittwoch nach der standesamtlichen Trauung hier unseren Hochzeitstag verbracht.Unser Tisch wurde sehr liebevoll eingedeckt, die ganze Belegschaft super sympathisch und freundlich und stets sehr aufmerksam . Das Essen war ebenfalls wunderbar (vor allem die Ochsenbäckchen sind sehr zu empfehlen ).Es war ein rundum gelungener Tag bei euch ,vielen herzlichen Dank für alles !

Wir haben sehr lecker gegessen, und wir wurden freundlich bedient. Kommen sehr gerne wieder.

In dieser familiär geführten Gaststätte gibt es abwechslungsreichen Mittagstisch mit bevorzugt lokalen/regionalen Produkten, freundlichen Service, faire Preise und in diesem gemütlichen und dennoch modernen Ambiente fühlt man sich sofort pudelwohl - im Sommer mit Biergarten und Tobefläche für die Kleinen, ideal für Familien- oder aktuell auch Weihnachtsfeiern (nach rechtzeitiger Reservierung) oder auch spontan zum Kaffeekränzchen. Auch kostenfreie Parkplätze stehen direkt vor dem Haus zur Verfügung. Was will man mehr? Ich jedenfalls kann es kaum erwarten, hier bald wieder vorbeizuschauen wenn ich in der Gegend bin...

Wir waren am Samstag, viele Personen dort essen.Das Essen war sehr gut und die Atmosphäre angenehm. Die Bedienung war ein sehr junges Mädchen , das eher zurückhaltend und etwas distanziert wirkte.Der Service war in Ordnung, wir hätten uns jedoch etwas mehr Freundlichkeit und ein kurzes Danke für das Trinkgeld gewünscht.

Wir haben dort mit mit 17 Personen ein Geburtstagsessen genossen und waren alle sehr zufrieden. Gute Fleischqualität, prima Zubereitung, nettes Ambiente, faire Preise, superfreundliche Bedienung. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder...😎

Wir hatten auf unserer Reise in die Niederlande ein fantastisches Essen mit vier Personen. Der Service und das Essen waren ausgezeichnet, und die Atmosphäre war angenehm und ungezwungen.

Schönes Ambiente für eine Sportgaststätte. Service sehr schnell, freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen war sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet. Besonders lecker war das Walnussbrot zum Salat. Extra Wünsche waren kein Problem. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können das Restaurant ohne Einschränkungen weiterempfehlen! Top!!!

Leckere schwäbische Küche 🤩. Es gibt auch ein paar vegetarische Gerichte, teilw. vegan. Das Servicepersonal fanden wir besonders freundlich und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

War schon öfters da, leckeres Essen, toller Service und ein super Team, dazu noch lokale Lieferanten und anständige Preise... Schwabenherz was willst Du mehr? ;-))

We were there on Boxing Day. What we didn't like was that there was no side salad with the meal, and it wasn't possible to choose, for example, Spätzle instead of fries. Otherwise, the food was decent. The service was very friendly.

Auf diesem relativ kleinen Berg findet sich die beste heiße Schokolade/Kakao mit selbstgemachter Zuckerfreien Schlagsahne die ich probieren durfte. Das Essen (Weisswurst-frühstück) war ebenfalls einwandfrei und das während dem Weihnachtstrubel. Wohl gestärkt kann man auch im Winter dort eine gute Zeit um den Berg und in der Gaststätte Engelberg haben.

Brutal gutes Essen und nette Leute. Auf jeden Fall vorbeikommen. Muss man unbedingt probiert haben.

I went to eat there on Christmas Day with a group of eight. Ordering drinks was quick. When ordering food, we had to decide right at the beginning whether or not we wanted dessert. All the dishes came without salad, which is unacceptable for such a high price. And the portions weren't even that generous. The roast beef and gravy were very good, but I had overcooked, limp, watery spaetzle that weren't even homemade as advertised on the menu, garnished with two tomato slices and a lettuce leaf. No parsley or crumble. Then my mother's schnitzel looked like it had been bought pre-made and wasn't even properly fried. There were still soft, light-colored bits visible, and it tasted of absolutely nothing. The breading had to be scraped off. The fries were soggy. It was very disappointing. So, I don't recommend this restaurant. Definitely not if they have to cook for a large group. They might be overwhelmed.

Wir waren am 25.12 25 zum Mittagessen mit 8 Personen da Getränke und Essen kam Recht zügig doch das Essen ließ zu wünschen übrig Rostbraten war gut nur die Spätzle waren zu lange schwimmen ( lätschig) das Engelberg Schnitzel war nicht gewürzt und hat nach nichts geschmeckt ( etwas eigenartig) Flammkuchen waren lecker.

War zu Weihnschtsfeier eingeladen. Tolle Auswahl und sehr lecker.

Warum schmeckts hier eigentlich immer so unverschämt gut?

Die Weihnachtsfeier für unsere 70 ehrenamtlichen Helferinnen und Helfer hat das Hospiz Leonberg dieses Jahr erstmal in der Gaststätte Engelberg gefeiert: familiäres Ambiente, leckeres Essen, herzlicher, aufmerksamer Service. Ein rundum toller Abend! Wir kommen wieder!!

Whether it was a birthday party, an Advent dinner with volunteers, a confirmation, a funeral, watching the World Cup in a beer garden, a stopover on a bike ride, or just because – we've had nothing but positive experiences over the past few years and have always been exceptionally well looked after by Marie and her team! That's why a review is finally in order, and we look forward to many more visits to Engelberg! 😀

We were guests at the Engelberg restaurant for a large event. Lots of people, lots of noise, and fewer parking spaces. That's just how it is. A normal part of life. I found the food very, very delicious and plentiful, as they say in Swabia, "It's nice when your belly's full." The staff were very attentive and tried their best to serve the many guests. They did a great job. Everything was clean. I can easily imagine that the terrace is very pleasant in spring and summer.

We celebrated a birthday at the Engelberg restaurant with about 60 people. The space is perfect for a party. We had the entire restaurant to ourselves; the two rooms are connected by a large sliding door that was left open. This meant that after dinner, the bar area could be used as a dance floor. We were completely satisfied with the service; it was super friendly, even late at night. The food was also delicious; the highlight was the ox cheeks with Merlot sauce. The price/performance ratio was completely acceptable. All in all, a fantastic location for a party; I highly recommend it.

Idyll at Engelberg! The owners, Lothar and Marie, are very friendly and make you feel like you're dining with friends. In addition to Swabian classics, the menu offers a changing selection of seasonal delicacies. The changing lunch menu also offers reasonable value for money. We were always extremely satisfied with the quality of the various dishes. You can choose to sit inside or in the beer garden under umbrellas. It's very cozy here, and you can enjoy the green trees surrounding the sports field. Since the area is behind the restaurant from the main road, it's also very quiet. Another highlight is the shelf with the huge selection of games, which makes this place absolutely child-friendly. The harmonious overall package means that the Engelberg restaurant has quickly become our regular haunt (a family with two children), and we eat there regularly.

There were two of us at a Zisch restaurant, where some of the owners were friends. They were so loud that we couldn't have a conversation. The schnitzel had a strange coating. We ate almost nothing and told the waitress that it was so loud. She then brought Zisch a shot and drank it herself, but the noise remained. You'll never see us there again.

We celebrated a baptism. The location is wonderful, near the Engelberg Tower. Soup and a mixed salad were served beforehand – both were excellently seasoned. The main course was presented buffet-style. The napkin dumplings with walnuts and the ox cheeks in Merlot sauce were the best – very intense in flavor and obviously homemade. The vegetables were crisp and went well with the dish. The chicken with mushrooms didn't hold its own in terms of flavor and seemed rather bland in comparison. Due to the large number of children, I had the impression that the waitress was a bit overwhelmed. However, she remained friendly throughout. I can wholeheartedly recommend the restaurant.

An unforgettable day at Restaurant Engelberg! We celebrated our confirmation at the Engelberg restaurant in Leonberg – and it was simply perfect! Even in advance, coordination was smooth and extremely friendly. Our requests were met flexibly and professionally – a true example of great service. The value for money is excellent, especially considering the fantastic location and the quality of the food and service. The celebration began with a stylish champagne reception outside – a real highlight in good weather! The spacious terrace with atmospheric lighting and the adjacent sports field also make the venue ideal for celebrations with children. While the adults could raise a glass, the little ones had plenty of space to play. And then the food: simply fantastic! Everything was fresh, tasty, and perfectly presented. We would particularly like to highlight the ox cheeks in red wine sauce – an absolute delight, tender and full of flavor. Highly recommended! The entire team was consistently friendly, attentive, and present, without being intrusive. You could tell they put their heart and soul into their work. In conclusion: The Engelberg restaurant is a wonderful location for festive occasions, where everything is just right – from the planning and the ambiance to the final bite. Many thanks to the entire team for this unforgettable day!

A spontaneous first visit, and certainly not the last. The service was excellent, friendly, and the kids were even given their own menus right away. A huge selection of games also allows parents to enjoy warm food.

We've been here a few times for dinner. Always fresh and delicious. Once, a larger group was there. The server's warning that it would take a while was great. We were happy to wait. It's great that you can enjoy the beer garden without the noise of cars. Service - as it should be. Highly recommended.

No matter the time: the food is always excellent, the service is extremely friendly and helpful, and the play area is perfect for kids! The Mattner family puts a lot of heart and soul into this place, and you can feel it! Plenty of parking is available, and when the weather is nice, there's outdoor seating, as well as room for children to play. The seasonal menu always offers new dishes and variety, and so far, there hasn't been a single thing I haven't liked! We love coming here often!

We celebrated a family celebration in the Engelberg restaurant and were completely thrilled. Both the prior arrangements and the service on the day itself were completely uncomplicated, reliable, friendly and courteous. We found it particularly pleasant to have a room to ourselves where we could play and celebrate undisturbed. We found the prices to be extremely fair. The food was also very good. Our guests felt very comfortable and we had a great celebration. Many many thanks!

It was our first time here and we really liked it. Very friendly welcome and also super nice service. Good menu, above all positive, almost every dish can also be ordered as a smaller portion. The homemade Maultaschen in forest mushroom sauce are very tasty. The schnitzel could have been a little crispier. Finally a restaurant that is open at lunchtime! The location is very nicely renovated. In summer you can sit outside well. Service great. Food delicious. Prices okay. The only negative thing: a really small mixed salad for 7.40 is really expensive and the exchange fee for changing side dishes can perhaps be justified somehow, but I find that very cumbersome... Definitely happy to come back!

We, the Diamant Leonberg company, had our Christmas party in Engelberg. There was a rich buffet to choose from. There was something for everyone. We could imagine coming back next year.

You can eat really well here and sit on the terrace in the summer, ideal with children!
