We have been coming to the angel for many years. The food was, as always, very good. Food came very quickly and was delicious. What really bothered me a few days ago was the accessibility when I wanted to reserve a table. I knew that it was traditionally difficult to reach the angel, but I never imagined that it would be THIS difficult: called over a dozen times, at all possible times of the day; no way through, no answering machine to leave a message on, no announcement when someone could answer the phone. No indication of when the opening times are. There was no response to an email from me (the email address is on the website of the city of Vaihingen/Enz. If this email address is no longer current, please just update it). The opening times on Google Maps are incorrect. If you don't come directly from Vaihingen and therefore can't come in person to make a reservation, you really have lost out. It's a shame actually...

Finally open again 😍. Beautiful ambience in a cozy half-timbered house. The food (onion roast with fried potatoes) was a poem. 🥰 Friendly hospitality and reasonable prices. An insider tip. 👍

Delicious, fresh food prepared with love. My friend really wanted to have a Cordon Bleu even though it wasn't on the menu. No problem, the innkeeper simply conjured one up! Very obliging. P.S. The salad is a must - very tasty!

Gemütlich, sehr nett, wohlschmeckend. Mir gefällt die Einrichtung in einem alten Fachwerkhaus auch gut.

Zum ersten mal dort gewesen. Erwartungen übertroffen. Haben essen für Silvester zum mitnehmen bestellt und man merkt der Chef kocht mit Liebe das Restaurant wird leidenschaftlich geführt und auch ein großes Lob an die Bedienung. Wir kommen wieder!

Sehr sehr leckeres und gemütliches restaurant mit schwäbischer küche. Ein Rostbraten vom feinsten und auch jedes weitere Gericht ist ein Gaumenschmaus. nur zu empfehlen und optimal einen abend ausklingen zu lassen.

Kleines, unscheinbares aber sehr feines und uriges Restaurant. Es gibt eine abwechselnde Tageskarte. Gut bürgerliche Küche, frische Zutaten, mit Raffinesse und Liebe zum Detail sehr schön hergerichtet-das Auge ißt mit. Geschmacklich top zu fairen Preisen.
