The food is absolutely fantastic, the service is incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy. The price is also very fair, almost too low for what you get. You should make a reservation beforehand, as there are many regular customers, even during the week.

Emmi: A piece of tradition that makes you feel good 🍴⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Unassuming from the outside, almost as if an unspectacular sign were saying: "Enter at your own risk - it could be good." Upon entering the restaurant, you find yourself in a mixture of half-timbered idyll and stone romanticism, cozy, without any kitsch, but authentic and honest. Emmi herself has been running the restaurant for over 13 years, and you can tell: this isn't a job, but a permanent fixture. She lives and loves what she does. The service is so warm, you almost think you've been adopted. The food: German home cooking, without Instagram frills, but classic, to the point. Roulade, Sauerbraten, ribs, rump steak, all so solid that you wonder why you ever bothered with cafeteria food. Even the semolina pudding on the children's menu has more character than many main courses elsewhere. Summary: Understated on the outside, but a culinary game of hide-and-seek at the highest level on the inside. If you don't go here, you're missing out on one of the few places where German cuisine still tastes like home, not like a ready-made package. 👉 Taste approved! ✅

The menu is clear, there are seasonal extras – and the food arrives quickly, fresh, and delicious. Starters like spiced beef or goat cheese with tomato are easy to eat, but by the time you get to the roulades or sauerbraten with dumplings, ribs, or rump steak, it's clear: the cooking here is done with love, and you can taste it. No weakness for desserts either – whether semolina pudding (yes, from the kids' menu 😅), ice cream with hot raspberries, or apple strudel: everything is a hit. Just like at mom's house, super delicious dishes, the goose leg we ate melted in our mouths. We celebrated my husband's birthday and had a wonderful evening. Everything is so beautifully decorated for Christmas. Emmi is such a warm host, we can recommend this restaurant 100%.

My local pub. Nowhere else is there such warm service. The starter soup selection changes daily (highly recommended) and there are also daily specials in addition to the menu.

The food is good, the atmosphere is good, but what the boss is doing is completely out of place. I understand a lot of fun, but this is clearly going too far. I want to eat there in peace with my family and don't need any verbal or physical attacks. CONCLUSION NEVER AGAIN!

Wir hatten gestern 19.05. kurzfristig entschlossen Essen zu gehen. Durch Pfingsten waren viele voll, also suchten wir eine alternative, was kein Fastfood, Döner oder Pizza sein sollte. Wir hatten Glück und bekamen einen Tisch reserviert. 3 Erwachsene, 1 Kind kein Problem. Wir haben uns von den Bewertungen für Emmi entschieden und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Wir wurden Herzlichst begrüßt, und auch Verabschiedet. Man nahm sich alle Zeit der Welt und war immer Freundlich, auch auf Wunschessen (Austausch vom Gemüse oder Pommes statt Kartoffeln) wurde Problemlos eingegangen und auf der Rechnung nicht oben drauf geschlagen (alles schon erlebt). Tagesgerichte wurden angepriesen und auch Saisonessen. Einfach alles für den Kunden, leider nicht mehr Standart heutzutage. Das Essen war sehr gut , reichlich und schön angerichtet. Das Ambiente ist etwas Urig mit viel hellem Holz, aber genau das was wir wollen. Auch das es keine 100 Tische gibt hat uns sehr gefallen, da ist man nicht nur eine durchreisende Nummer. Unser kleiner (4) wurde sehr gut mit als Gast behandelt aber auch nett gescherzt, so das er schnell Auftaute. Das einzigste Manko waren die Buletten vom Kinderteller. Diese waren Handgemacht und sehr gut gewürzt. Für unseren kleinen leider etwas zu viel. Dafür waren die Pommes bei weitem besser als im Fastfood Restaurant oder anderen großen Ketten. Und der Ketchup etwas weniger Zitronig und es wäre ein Perfektes Essen für die Kids. Insgesamt war es auf jeden Fall eine Erfahrung wert, die wir wiederholen werden, da Preis / Leistung wirklich Fair ist. Und ich Hoffe, das das Team die Emmi noch lange so weiter Betreibt.

I found Emmi by chance while googling...there were three of us. The service was quick and the job was enjoyable. The food was excellent, carpaccio, brawn + fried potatoes, tongue and beef steak, each with asparagus. It was our first visit and I can definitely recommend the restaurant. We felt very comfortable and welcome.

We looked for a table relatively spontaneously for the Easter holidays. Lots of cancellations - only Emmi was smart enough to offer us an early table. There was only a small card for the holidays, but that was perfectly fine. We were warmly welcomed by Mrs. Emmi. The food also came quickly and was delicious. We'll definitely come back!

Ich war mit einer Begleitperson schon öfters dort. Beim Ersten Besuch war ich zufrieden aber inzwischen muss ich sagen das die Emmi ihre Gäste abzockt. Das Essen ist nicht schmackhaft. Schnitzel scheinen Tiefkühlkost vom Supermarkt zu sein und Klöße aus der der Verpackung. Das Schnitzel war bei meinem letztenmal hart und an den Rändern schwarz und dazu nur wenig Gemüse und wenige Kartoffeln so das wir welche dazu bestellen mussten. Die Portionen sind klein ( Seniorenportion?!) und wenig schmackhaft. Die Preise sind stabil aber z. Bsp. in der Ratsstube in Chemnitz bekommt man für den selben Preis ein wesentlich schmackhafteres Essen.

Wir waren sehr begeistert! Service Top, Essen Top und das Ambiente hervorragend! Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen!!!

Parkmögligkeiten davor u. im nahen Umfeld vorhanden . Ich habe Carpaccio u. Beafsteck gegessen . Sehr zu empfehlen. Aber das ist alles Geschmackssache. Preislich ist es in Ordnung alles zwischen 12-18 Euro.

Das Essen schmeckt hier sehr gut und ist preislich auf jeden Fall angemessen. Man fühlt sich auch sofort willkommen. Das Ambiente ist auch schön.

Ich kann nichts negatives sagen! Das Restaurant ist gemütlich und man fühlt sich wirklich ehrlich willkommen. Die Preise sind absolut fair, die Bedienung mit dem Herzen bei der Sache und schnell. Essen ist gutbürgerlich und schmeckt fantastisch. Reservierung dringend empfohlen!

Eine wunderschöne und liebevoll eingerichtete Gaststätte. Die Chefin ist super nett und auch gegenüber Kindern wunderbar aufgeschlossen. Das Essen war gut bürgerlich und super lecker. Auch die Portionen waren vollkommen ausreichend. Auf wünsche wird eingegangen und man muss auch nicht lange auf das essen warten. Alles in allem ist es jederzeit wieder einen Besuch wert.

Wir waren als kleinere Gruppe Mittagessen. Es war sehr sehr schön. Man kommt in das Restaurant hinein und fühlt sich direkt wohl. Es ist sehr liebevoll dekoriert, man wird freundlich begrüßt und man freut sich einfach so sehr weil man da sein darf. Die kellnerin ist wirklich top! So eine nette und liebenswürdig Frau die auch gerne beratend zur Seite steht. Das Essen hat mir wirklich ein Lächeln ins Gesicht gezaubert. Es war gut zubereitet, gut angerichtet und es hat einfach fantastisch geschmeckt - den Sauerbraten kann ich jedem nur empfehlen! Ich hab wirklich über beide Ohren gestrahlt!!! Eine schöne kleine Kneipe, das Essen war gut, aber mehr auch nicht, leider lieblos angerichtet, die Bedienung nicht so aufgeschlossen und nett, wie ich in den anderen Rezensionen gelesen habe, auf Nachfragen wurde nicht richtig geantwortet, insgesamt ein enttäuschenden erster Besuch dieser Gaststätte. Ein weiterer wird auch nicht folgen.

Das Emmi's ist ein rundum perfektes Restaurant und immer wieder einen Besuch wert. Man wird herzlich begrüßt, das Essen schmeckt wie "bei Muttern" und man kann sich im urigen Ambiente einfach nur wohlfühlen.

Ganz genau so stellt man sich Gastronomie vor, eine herzliche Begrüßung, ein Service der alles im Griff hat und ein Koch der sein Handwerk versteht. Absolute Empfehlung!

Urgemütliches und von der Inhaberin geführtes und sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Restaurant. Da es von außen etwas unscheinbar wirkt bin ich leider jahrelang daran vorbei gegangen. Das war definitiv ein Fehler. Das frische Essen schmeckt richtig gut und es gibt auch immer wechselnde Alternativen zur Karte. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert!

Das Essen hat uns wie immer sehr gut geschmeckt, die Bedienung/Service ist sehr gut, die Chefin ist immer gut gelaunt. Mein Tipp, anrufen Tisch reservieren und dann ausprobieren und sich selbst ein Urteil bilden. Die Speisekarte ist nicht groß, es gab bis jetzt immer ein Tagesangebot, die Preise sind gut aber das Essen finden wir ist sehr gut. Nachteil für Rollstuhlfahrer nicht unbedingt geeignet obwohl ich mir sicher bin das die Chefin auch dafür eine Lösung hat.
