The Cook Box in Stollberg is highly recommended. The quality and portion size are excellent, making it a welcome alternative to the otherwise rather meager or unhealthy options in town. Only the billed prices differed from the printed price (by a small margin of up to €1.00).

I discovered it by chance while passing through and I'm thrilled. Freshly cooked breakfast, even the sauce for the eggs Benedict is made fresh. High-quality ingredients and friendly service. Impressively unassuming bistro and shop.

The food is definitely great for a ready meal when you're in a hurry, but I think there should be an option to return the sturdy plastic packaging, i.e. a kind of deposit!

The food tastes very good, but 50 cents of the change was not returned.

A rescue in dire need: After a first-class gastronomic disaster on Christmas Day, I canceled my reservation at the same restaurant on Christmas Day. What now? We had guests we wanted to take out for dinner, so we opted for the venison shoulder, the best decision! Super delicious, well-presented, and, as always, a good price-performance ratio—the holiday was saved. Even in situations like this: a definite recommendation! Thank you.

For Sunday breakfast/brunch/wine tasting/shopping experience in the sun. As always...⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It's nice that you're there for the guests every now and then on Sundays.

We went there for a cooking class and can highly recommend it. The 4-course menu consisting of risotto with spinach and fried monkfish, pumpkin and ginger soup, meat platter (fillet, sirloin entrecot) with mashed potatoes and vegetables + creme brulé with chocolate ice cream and orange compote was very tasty. The cook Willi explained all the steps and we were allowed to lend a hand everywhere. The group was also a pleasant size with 11 people. The only mango: There were no recipes to cook at home. But there were lots of hints and tricks and gimmicks.

Happy to go back with friends every week :) Very pleasant crowd and staff.

Incredibly good food in an extravagant ambience. The prices are absolutely reasonable. The quality of the food is very high and the preparation is simply unique. Plus the wine!!! The Riesling is dry, refreshing at just the right temperature, I rave. The meat salad, only intended as a small snack, enticed me to buy 500 grams😂 also freshly cooked food, shrink-wrapped to take away, freeze, etc. for singles who want to enjoy excellent home cooking at home with 5-star taste, simply recommended. I never have to cook again! The whole concept is extraordinary and unique. Absolute recommendation for celebrations, a really good meal for two, or even alone “just a quick nibble”, relax and enjoy.
