I placed an order through Lieferando and it was approved. Then 13 minutes later it was canceled. I don't know if you're kidding me.

The food was great but the iskender was a little bit salty and a little bit too oily.

Unfortunately, the doner kebab wasn't my taste at all. The sauce tasted too strongly of mayonnaise. The cabbage was pickled in vinegar, and the meat was over-marinated. The bread quickly became soggy and mushy. Overall, all the ingredients were fresh, but the vinegar, mayo, and marinade made it too much. The atmosphere was great, and the service was very attentive and friendly!

After a tiring day, we had dinner at Elite Mangal. The staff were very friendly. And the food was delicious. Definitely recommended.

All four of us were very delighted by the amount, taste and style our main course arrived in, complimentary bread with sauces included (yellow one was the best). My only gripe was that the menu was not available in english, making our ordering a little more tedious than it needed to be. Service was very welcoming and proactive, helping us with the before mentioned problem.

I visited spontaneously and ordered a doner kebab. The meat was extremely tasty, and the spicy sauce had a pleasant heat, not too mild, and went perfectly with the dish. The bread was really crispy. The service was very friendly and quite quick. I'll definitely be back.

I was not allowed to use the restroom by very rude staff.

Unexpected Gem - Fantastic Flavour and Value I found Elite Mangal by chance after skipping a long queue at a more hyped spot nearby, and it turned out to be an excellent decision. The meat was fantastic. Rich, flavorful, albeit slightly on the salty side. The sauces were delicious and balanced, adding just the right touch without overwhelming the dish. At only €7 for beef, it’s amazing value for the quality you get. I’ll definitely be coming back to try their Adana, Köfte, as well as the Döner again. A true hidden gem - highly recommended!

Wonderful Turkish breakfast! We had a truly delicious Turkish breakfast with absolutely everything on the table – from sucuk and menemen to simit and, of course, Turkish tea. The selection was extensive and everything was freshly prepared. It was a great start to the day with authentic and flavorful dishes. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience a real Turkish breakfast!

This is my third time there and I've been impressed three times. The meat (two lamb chops, one lamb rib) was grilled to perfection (charcoal), the side dishes were varied and very good, fresh flatbread with two delicious dips to start with, and a delicious tea to go with it – all excellent and a fair price-performance ratio. The service was also very friendly and attentive. Thank you very much! My first choice for grilled meat in Cologne.

Highly recommended kebab restaurant. Today we had a delicious doner kebab and a chicken skewer. All the other dishes also looked high quality. The sauces and dips were also excellent, especially the garlic yogurt and the tomato meze. The restrooms were also hygienically clean; everything was satisfactory. Great service, thank you!

I've eaten there many times, and every time it's been delicious, and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. I also find the prices very reasonable and fair, compared to similar restaurants. My father is very picky when it comes to eating out, and even he said this was the tastiest and juiciest chicken skewer he's ever eaten. Highly recommended. ✨

Yesterday I was there with 2 friends for Iftar (we didn't get our food until 20 minutes after breaking the fast). Two of us ordered the baguette with Tavuc sis. When we got the baguette we REALLY had to look for the meat. They had cut 2-3 pieces of the Tavuc sis really small and hidden them at the bottom of the baguette under 300-400g of lettuce. When we asked why the baguette was only 80% filled with salad, we were told in a very dismissive, rude and really passive aggressive way, “Yes, then you have to order a large skewer,” even though there was nothing on the menu with a large or small skewer. When we tried the baguette, I actually had to spit it out because the meat tasted so disgusting. We also ordered fries that weren't even brought. In the end they tried to make up for the whole thing with 3 dry baklava. Never again!!! Tasteless bullshit.

I had breakfast here and I absolutely loved it! Although we arrived shortly before the end of breakfast time (until 1 p.m.), breakfast was served to us without any problems. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive - you really feel welcome here. The breakfast itself was incredibly tasty and varied. For just €14.90 per person you get a huge selection of freshly prepared dishes. Everything was warm, fresh and top quality! Price-performance is really unbeatable here. I can only recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back!

The Turkish restaurant in Cologne is a small business. Soups are not bad. Portions are very filling. Desserts are nice. Unfortunately, kebabs are not like in Turkey.

We went in February 2025 It's not a fancy place. We came from Türkiye and had to choose it because the food was reliable, but they are not friendly at all. People before me paid with a credit card. When I tried to pay with a credit card, they realized that I was a Turk and said that credit cards are not accepted, especially Turkey's credit cards, so you have to pay cash. When I insisted, they rudely warned me that there is an ATM next door and bring a cheque. We had to give them cash and they gave me at least some change. The same thing has happened to people who have experienced this place before. But the Turkish doner restaurant in 7 DAYS/BERLIN took payment by credit card and did not take money for the drinks either.

Very inviting atmosphere - great service - very good price-performance ratio. Came here spontaneously for the first time and was very pleasantly surprised. The 2 person breakfast is easily enough for 3 people and is unbeatable in terms of price/performance ratio. Always happy when we are in Cologne. Fresh and delicious ingredients!

I went there for dinner on Friday last week and was my first time at Elite Mangal. I was surprised that there wasn't a queue, as it was like that in the shops around it. There was an Iskender kebab. The toasted bread under the meat was very hard and reminded us of duck feed, the kebab meat was cold, covered with warm tomato sauce and the yoghurt was solid and thick. I didn't find it particularly tasty and have had far better dishes of this type. The service was nice, there was tea on the house and delicious warm bread with dip as a starter. Waiter was attentive! Unfortunately we won't be back :(

We always enjoy coming to Elite Mangal in Cologne for breakfast. Super nice service, authentic, freshly prepared Turkish breakfast treats. Everything from freshly baked bread to all sorts of hearty and sweet dishes. We are happy to recommend the restaurant and will come back.

Just cheeky, saying that Neotaste wouldn't work on Friday, but you can reserve on the app, then they said we should cancel the booking because they would be fully booked in half an hour, but without the app we could stay there and eat, without any problems. So it was all a lie, they weren't fully booked and they just don't want to sell anything through Neotaste.

We were walking with our child and spontaneously came in here. We were really very very satisfied! One of the few restaurants where you are still asked if everything is OK and whether it tasted good. The service was super fast and really friendly. The atmosphere is very authentic, you can have a quiet conversation without the background music tempting you to speak louder. What I have never experienced before was that after eating I was asked whether something was wrong because there was a little food left, even though it was just because I was full. This really shows interest in the customer! We'll definitely be back!
