An absolutely disappointing visit. There were six of us there today, we sat outside and had to wait a long time for service. After we ordered drinks, ice cream and two meals, we were rudely informed that this was a restaurant and not an ice cream parlor. Another waitress complained about our seating position instead of simply asking politely. This is definitely not how you as a guest imagine a visit to a restaurant. The first and last time for us.

The food was, as always, very tasty. The portions are decent. If you like liver, you have to come here, it has the best liver in the city. To the point, not too dry and yet well done. The best Greek restaurant in town. Always my pleasure.

Went there for lunch today with 10 people. Nice courteous service and welcome. The food is really excellent and fresh. Everything tasted very good and we all had the food at the same time despite being full. Be sure to order tzatziki :-) Restaurant is a 10 out of 10. Small point of criticism: The toilet facilities could be modernized a little.

Eleon is a fantastic Greek restaurant that we highly recommend! As soon as you enter you feel welcome thanks to the extremely friendly and attentive staff. The atmosphere is pleasant and inviting – perfect for a cozy evening. The food is a real treat! Fresh, authentic and prepared with a lot of love. Every meal was simply delicious and exceeded our expectations. A place we will definitely visit again.

We had to wait over an hour for our food. It can happen sometimes, but then you at least accommodate the guests or apologize for it. During the entire time we were there we weren't even asked if everything was OK or if we wanted something more to drink. So in my opinion not good service. The food was neither good nor bad. So I wouldn't recommend the store.

The staff is super nice, the food is really tasty, and the waiting times are pleasantly short. The salad is particularly fresh and tastes really good. If you're planning a date or just want to spend a nice evening, I can only recommend the shop. The atmosphere is relaxed, the people there are really friendly, and best of all: you even get an ouzo on the house - that's a really nice gesture. Thanks for the great experience!

Online ordering. To be on the safe side (indication before ordering: 15 preparation time) called directly. To be on the safe side, the order was taken again and handed over on time at the requested time (30 minutes). There was also the obligatory ouzo👌. Food was delicious, all 5 people were full. Maybe we'll eat there next time.

The food there is very good, especially the dishes with Metaxa sauce. So the price/performance ratio is great. The service is also super nice. On the weekends you should make a reservation if you want to go out for dinner in the evening.

Super delicious food, attentive service and a cozy atmosphere. Our new favorite restaurant in Hildesheim. The Greek-style garlic bread, the feta cheese in puff pastry with sesame and honey and the gyros were heavenly. The main course was served with a salad from the salad bar. Also very tasty. The prices are absolutely fair.

Going out to eat Greek is a given here. In any case it was delicious.

Very bright, friendly atmosphere, pleasantly air-conditioned inside, staff very attentive but not intrusive. The menu has something delicious for every taste, the food is super tasty, portions are not overly large, the meat is crispy on the outside but still nice and juicy on the inside, nice, clean and varied salad bar. All dishes are not overly seasoned, you have the option at the table You can add additional seasoning yourself if necessary. High-quality products that you can taste straight away. It was our first time here and we would definitely like to come back

We've eaten here many times but we'll probably look elsewhere. The fries were soggy, the rice on the gyro plate was a tiny blob...that was different. The sanitary facilities have been in urgent need of renovation for a long time, but clean is also something else. Of the 2 women's toilets, the door in one of them doesn't work anymore...can no longer be closed. We won't be coming back for a while...maybe at some point to see if anything has happened

Dear Eleon Team, you have a great team. Everyone was very nice and on point. I was sitting outside and there was a lot of traffic, which bothered me a bit. But we could have changed that ourselves by putting our minds to it. What really annoyed me was the food. If I go to a Greek restaurant for dinner, I want to be full. I left hungry after eating. I ordered the 112th liver with seasonal vegetables and tzatziki. The dish cost EUR 18.50. There were three very thin "pieces" of liver that were completely cooked through and close to the sole of the shoe. Cut each piece of liver with a knife once and the liver was gone. The vegetables were ok, but weren't filling either. I wasn't served anything else with the dish. If anything, it was a small appetizer plate, but it falls short of the main courses and is far too expensive for EUR 18.50. Now my main point of criticism. On their menu at No. 45 is Sikoti, grilled beef liver with roasted onions, metaxa sauce, steak fries and tomato rice. The dish costs EUR 15.90. So, despite the filling side dishes, it's cheaper than my dish. Find the error. Unfortunately they lost me as a customer. But I will remember your kindness

Completely overwhelming the staff. But the guests also got rowdy. We waited 2.5 hours for our food. That was nothing. A pity.

We waited 90 minutes for the food and another 20 minutes from when we asked for the bill until it was paid and the restaurant was only 2/3 full with lots of empty seats. My food tasted ok, but my boyfriend's food was boring and dry (gyros).

After a long journey we were looking forward to delicious Greek food. We ordered a table online. We were able to order drinks and food quickly. After 30 minutes the drinks came. We had to wait 1.5 hours for the food, even though there were only 4 tables inside and most of the people outside had already gotten their food. At the neighboring table, guests waited even longer for their food and one of the guests' food was cold. When our food finally came, mine was only lukewarm. I was offered to warm up the food again in the microwave. After the food finally came back lukewarm, it was also a disaster in terms of taste. I've never had such a bad Greek meal before. Of course everyone has their own taste, but for me this wasn't good. And I'm actually a lover of Greek cuisine. We also told the waiter what we thought about it when we paid. Unfortunately our regular Greek is on vacation and we wanted to try out Eleon. But after the experience it will remain this one-off test.

Best gyro! The employees are super nice! The dolmadakia are incredibly delicious! We will be back definitely!

Were there for Mother's Day. Full place. The meal was quite tasty, but the salad buffet could have been more varied. The dwell time was quite lengthy. Test the operation again when the opportunity arises.

In 2024, Eleon will again be one of our TOP restaurants that we visit regularly. Tip 1 Try a different ouzo instead of the standard one. For example, the pilava is delicious even without ice or ice-cold glasses. Tip 2 Low carb is called fitness plate on the menu here. Also messy.

The Eleon is a very nice restaurant! The entire team is always super nice, courteous and helpful! A large selection of delicacies (something for every taste!) and above all very, very tasty! We are regulars and love this restaurant! The calamari is a hit! We recommend! And the Eleon team are super nice people!

In contrast to other restaurants, Eleon still offers a side salad included, the service is always friendly and invites you to come back, the food is super delicious and fresh and the ambience is very nice. I would recommend it at any time (we go there regularly).

We were invited to a party here and were seriously disappointed. The ambience is okay so far, the service was friendly but sales-oriented. They tried to sell us starters several times that we didn't want. The food was rather bad than good. The gyro was very dry, sometimes even black and cold on the outside, and completely over-seasoned. The Metaxa sauce also had far too much salt and was not edible. The only thing that was really tasty was the grilled chicken and the fries, but that's not what you go to a Greek restaurant for. The sanitary facilities are very old, carelessly maintained and were very dirty when we visited, even though there were only a few guests in the restaurant. There was also very little light, so you could hardly see anything in the toilet. There were also problems with the bill. There were two items on it that we either didn't order or ordered and didn't get. All in all, we cannot understand the good reviews here and will not visit the restaurant again.

I had dinner here at the weekend. The service was good, the food had its ups and downs (sometimes over-seasoned). But what doesn't work at all are the sanitary facilities. These have certainly not been renovated for 30 years and are in very poor structural condition. They were also extremely dirty, which you only noticed when you turned on your cell phone light because the dim ceiling light hardly brought any light into the darkness. Good food is one thing, but if the bathroom is old and dirty, it doesn't make you feel good.

Food was tasty, just a little more sauce would be great, drinks came a little slowly. But otherwise very friendly and we will definitely come back

Food took forever even though the place was so busy. Bread was great, the rest.... Well. Toilets: No No No!!!! Guys, this needs to be renovated... Don't renovate!!! I would almost have preferred to pee my shirt. I'm sorry, but the first visit will be my last.

Wir mussten sehr lange auf das Essen warten, beim Bezahlen würde und der Stapel Rechnungen auf den Tisch geschmissen und jeder durfte erst Mal seine Rechnung ausfindig machen. Nach weiteren 10 Minuten wurde dann endlich kassiert. Blöde Sprüche und ständige Berührungen der weiblichen Gäste am Tisch bleiben in unangenehmer Erinnerung. Schade.

Who would have thought that there was such a good Greek in Hildesheim! The lamb was superb - only the salad bar was a bit boring. We will come back!
