Online ordering. To be on the safe side (indication before ordering: 15 preparation time) called directly. To be on the safe side, the order was taken again and handed over on time at the requested time (30 minutes). There was also the obligatory ouzo👌. Food was delicious, all 5 people were full. Maybe we'll eat there next time.

The food there is very good, especially the dishes with Metaxa sauce. So the price/performance ratio is great. The service is also super nice. On the weekends you should make a reservation if you want to go out for dinner in the evening.

The Greek-style garlic bread, the feta cheese in puff pastry with sesame and honey and the gyros were heavenly. The main course was served with a salad from the salad bar. Also very tasty. The prices are absolutely fair.

Very bright, friendly atmosphere, pleasantly air-conditioned inside, staff very attentive but not intrusive. The menu has something delicious for every taste, the food is super tasty, portions are not overly large, the meat is crispy on the outside but still nice and juicy on the inside, nice, clean and varied salad bar. All dishes are not overly seasoned, you have the option at the table You can add additional seasoning yourself if necessary. High-quality products that you can taste straight away. It was our first time here and we would definitely like to come back

We've eaten here many times but we'll probably look elsewhere. The fries were soggy, the rice on the gyro plate was a tiny blob...that was different. The sanitary facilities have been in urgent need of renovation for a long time, but clean is also something else. Of the 2 women's toilets, the door in one of them doesn't work anymore...can no longer be closed. We won't be coming back for a while...maybe at some point to see if anything has happened

Dear Eleon Team, you have a great team. Everyone was very nice and on point. I was sitting outside and there was a lot of traffic, which bothered me a bit. But we could have changed that ourselves by putting our minds to it. What really annoyed me was the food. If I go to a Greek restaurant for dinner, I want to be full. I left hungry after eating. I ordered the 112th liver with seasonal vegetables and tzatziki. The dish cost EUR 18.50. There were three very thin "pieces" of liver that were completely cooked through and close to the sole of the shoe. Cut each piece of liver with a knife once and the liver was gone. The vegetables were ok, but weren't filling either. I wasn't served anything else with the dish. If anything, it was a small appetizer plate, but it falls short of the main courses and is far too expensive for EUR 18.50. Now my main point of criticism. On their menu at No. 45 is Sikoti, grilled beef liver with roasted onions, metaxa sauce, steak fries and tomato rice. The dish costs EUR 15.90. So, despite the filling side dishes, it's cheaper than my dish. Find the error. Unfortunately they lost me as a customer. But I will remember your kindness

Completely overwhelming the staff. But the guests also got rowdy. We waited 2.5 hours for our food. That was nothing. A pity.

We waited 90 minutes for the food and another 20 minutes from when we asked for the bill until it was paid and the restaurant was only 2/3 full with lots of empty seats. My food tasted ok, but my boyfriend's food was boring and dry (gyros).

After a long journey we were looking forward to delicious Greek food. We ordered a table online. We were able to order drinks and food quickly. After 30 minutes the drinks came. We had to wait 1.5 hours for the food, even though there were only 4 tables inside and most of the people outside had already gotten their food. At the neighboring table, guests waited even longer for their food and one of the guests' food was cold. When our food finally came, mine was only lukewarm. I was offered to warm up the food again in the microwave. After the food finally came back lukewarm, it was also a disaster in terms of taste. I've never had such a bad Greek meal before. Of course everyone has their own taste, but for me this wasn't good. And I'm actually a lover of Greek cuisine. We also told the waiter what we thought about it when we paid. Unfortunately our regular Greek is on vacation and we wanted to try out Eleon. But after the experience it will remain this one-off test.

Best gyro! The employees are super nice! The dolmadakia are incredibly delicious! We will be back definitely!

Were there for Mother's Day. Full place. The meal was quite tasty, but the salad buffet could have been more varied. The dwell time was quite lengthy. Test the operation again when the opportunity arises.

In 2024, Eleon will again be one of our TOP restaurants that we visit regularly. Tip 1 Try a different ouzo instead of the standard one. For example, the pilava is delicious even without ice or ice-cold glasses. Tip 2 Low carb is called fitness plate on the menu here. Also messy.

The Eleon is a very nice restaurant! The entire team is always super nice, courteous and helpful! A large selection of delicacies (something for every taste!) and above all very, very tasty! We are regulars and love this restaurant! The calamari is a hit! We recommend! And the Eleon team are super nice people!

In contrast to other restaurants, Eleon still offers a side salad included, the service is always friendly and invites you to come back, the food is super delicious and fresh and the ambience is very nice. I would recommend it at any time (we go there regularly).

We were invited to a party here and were seriously disappointed. The ambience is okay so far, the service was friendly but sales-oriented. They tried to sell us starters several times that we didn't want. The food was rather bad than good. The gyro was very dry, sometimes even black and cold on the outside, and completely over-seasoned. The Metaxa sauce also had far too much salt and was not edible. The only thing that was really tasty was the grilled chicken and the fries, but that's not what you go to a Greek restaurant for. The sanitary facilities are very old, carelessly maintained and were very dirty when we visited, even though there were only a few guests in the restaurant. There was also very little light, so you could hardly see anything in the toilet. There were also problems with the bill. There were two items on it that we either didn't order or ordered and didn't get. All in all, we cannot understand the good reviews here and will not visit the restaurant again.

I had dinner here at the weekend. The service was good, the food had its ups and downs (sometimes over-seasoned). But what doesn't work at all are the sanitary facilities. These have certainly not been renovated for 30 years and are in very poor structural condition. They were also extremely dirty, which you only noticed when you turned on your cell phone light because the dim ceiling light hardly brought any light into the darkness. Good food is one thing, but if the bathroom is old and dirty, it doesn't make you feel good.

Food took forever even though the place was so busy. Bread was great, the rest.... Well. Toilets: No No No!!!! Guys, this needs to be renovated... Don't renovate!!! I would almost have preferred to pee my shirt. I'm sorry, but the first visit will be my last.

Wir mussten sehr lange auf das Essen warten, beim Bezahlen würde und der Stapel Rechnungen auf den Tisch geschmissen und jeder durfte erst Mal seine Rechnung ausfindig machen. Nach weiteren 10 Minuten wurde dann endlich kassiert. Blöde Sprüche und ständige Berührungen der weiblichen Gäste am Tisch bleiben in unangenehmer Erinnerung. Schade.

War das erste Mal im Eleon und war sehr positiv überrascht... Bin eigentlich kein griechisch Esser 😊 aber die Karte hat mich sehr angesprochen.... Sehr lecker

Super leckeres Essen und eine sehr freundliche Willkommenskultur!!!

Ich war gegen Abend im "Eleon" in Hildesheim essen. Das Parken in der Nähe des Ladens ist gut möglich, alternativ kann man "an den Sportplätzen" parken, nur ein kurzer Fußweg zum Restaurant. Das Lokal wirkt sauber und schön "altgriechisch". Nachdem uns ein Tisch zugewiesen wurde, wurden wir leider ein wenig vergessen – es gab keine Karte. Nach ca. 5-10 Minuten kam erst ein Kellner und fragte, ob wir eine Karte haben möchten. Die Bestellannahme erfolgte dann relativ zügig, ebenso die Getränke. Positiv war, dass die Kellnerin fragte, ob die Vorspeise vorher oder gleichzeitig mit der Hauptspeise serviert werden sollte. Zu fast jeder (?) Speise gab es einen Salat von der Salatbar, frisch und lecker und gut gekühlt. Ich bestellte den Gyros-Teller für 15,50€ und eine Cola 0,4 für 4€. Die Servierung des Essens dauerte leider etwa 50 Minuten, aber angesichts der vollen Lokalsituation an Silvesterabend sehe ich darüber hinweg. Die Steakpommes waren sehr lecker, der Reis mit Tomate schmeckte gut, und das Tzatziki war ausgezeichnet, wahrscheinlich selbst gemacht. Das Gyros war gut gewürzt, wenn auch etwas trocken – bei Gyros ist das jedoch schwierig. Die Portion und der Salat für 15,40€ fand ich mehr als fair. Positiv war auch, dass wir nach ca. 35 Minuten (nach der Bestellung des Hauptgangs) informiert wurden, dass das Essen bald kommt. Während des Essens wurden wir gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung sei. Das Gyros Souflaki überbacken war ebenso sehr lecker, eine gute Menge, gutes Fleisch und leckere Soße für 17,90€ – ein sehr gutes Gericht. Tiropitaka mit Tzatziki war ebenfalls lecker, aber mit 7,5€ etwas teuer. Für mich wäre es eher ~5,5€ gewesen, aber angesichts der Feta-Käse-Preise ist es akzeptabel. Die Sanitäranlage ist zwar alt, aber sauber. Leider war es im Restaurant relativ laut, was wohl an anderen Gästen lag – direkt neben uns war eine "Familien"-Feier, die sich etwas zu wohl fühlte und extrem laut war. Nach deren Abgang wurde es angenehmer. Fazit: Das Essen war gut, familiäre Atmosphäre, und die Preise sind mehr als fair. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder. WICHTIG: Die Speisekarte auf der Webseite scheint veraltet zu sein.

Geschmacklich fand ich es sehr gut und das Personal war sehr freundlich. Preislich sind wir bei ca. 25euro pro Person gewesen was dem Durchschnitt entspricht. Die Menge bei den Gerichten fand ich teilweise gut und schlecht. Fleisch war mehr als genug auf den Tellern. Ich fand es aber nen wenig schade das die Beilagen Rosmarin Kartoffeln und Reis sehr wenig war. Die Einrichtung ist nichts besonderes sondern eher klassisch. Das Bad ist bereits etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Fazit Wenn man bei einem Griechen essen möchte in einer überschaubaren preislichen rahmen macht man bei Eleon nichts verkehrt. Geschmacklich war es sehr gut (Für mein Empfinden)

Ausgezeichnetes Essen und sehr freundliche Atmosphäre. Salatbuffet frisch und knackig. Wir werden sehr sicher wieder dort hin gehen.

Leckeres Essen (Vegetariern empfehle ich die vegetarischen Vorspeisen als Hauptspeise), guter Service…immer wieder gern!

Lecker günstig und reichhaltig. Was besonders begeistert ist das der Gyrosteller für die Menge essen wirklich günstig ist. Das Fleisch schmeckt und ( Trommelwirbel) Zaziki ist inklusive.. Gerne wieder.

Schade, ich kann die guten Kritiken nicht verstehen. Das essen war lieblos auf dem Teller arrangiert. Die Beilagen waren übersichtlich. Es gibt wesentlich bessere griechische Restaurants in Hildesheim z.B. Mykonos gegenüber dem Museum.

Trotz großem Andrangs (Weihnachtsfeierzeit) freundliche und zügige Bedienung. Das Zasiki war cremig und leicht pikant, so wie es sein soll. Der Olympia-Teller den ich mir bestellte war großzügig ausgestattet und durchaus schmackhaft. Alles in allem ein erfolgreicher Abend. Leider kommt hier, wie in fast allen griechischen Restaurants in Deutschland, die echte griechische Küche leider etwas zu kurz. So vermisse ich immer wieder Schmorgerichte, Aufläufe oder etwa gefüllte Paprika oder Tomaten. Das ist aber wohl dem deutschen Geschmack geschuldet und soll hier das Eleon nicht abwerten.

Definitiv einen Besuch wert. Service und Essen sehr gut. Am Wochenende sollte man vorab reservieren. Die Toiletten könnten mal saniert werden, ansonsten war nichts auszusetzen.

Das beste griechische Restaurant im Umkreis. Die Qualität ist super! Auch auf wünsche und plötzliche Änderungen wird super eingegangen!! Ihr seid super, bleibt weiterhin so :-)

Das griechische Restaurant Eleon in Hildesheim hat mich von Anfang bis Ende beeindruckt. Die Bedienung war äußerst freundlich und aufmerksam, was das Essen zu einem noch angenehmeren Erlebnis gemacht hat. Das Essen selbst war von höchster Qualität und wurde großzügig serviert. Jeder Bissen war ein Geschmackserlebnis, das ich so schnell nicht vergessen werde. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist einladend und gemütlich, was den Abend perfekt abgerundet hat. Eleon ist definitiv ein Ort, den ich gerne wieder besuchen werde und den ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen kann! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
