Elbers 800 Grad Restaurant + Bar in Hagen

Modifikation der Bewertung: diese bezieht sich nichtvauf das Maredo, sondern auf den Vorgänger dort, dem selber 800Grad Ich würde 6 Sterne geben, wenn es möglich wäre. Hier stimmt alles! Ja, gehobene Preise, ja, man bekommt ein gutes Steak woanders auch günstiger. Nein, das alles ist kein Grund, dort nicht hinzugehen. Ambiente der Hammer! Service ebenso. Das Essen einfach ein anderes Level. Die Bar und die Cocktails großartig. Das Gesamtpaket Elbers800 ist stimmig von vorn bis hinten und jeden ausgegebenen Euro wert!

Wir waren heute (06.06.2026) das erste mal, seitdem es es "Maredo" heißt, dort. Ich war, ob der Systemgastronomie, etwas skeptisch. Wie sich herausstellte war dies unbegründet. Das Ambiente ist wie früher, einfach nett. Der Service war gut. Nicht so überregend wie früher, aber wirklich gut. Zuvorkommend, freundlich, kompetent. Auf das Essen warteten wir 30 Minuten. Das finde ich persönlich in Ordnung. Die Steaks waren so zubereitet, wie wir uns das vorgestellt haben. Wirklich gut und lecker. Die wenigen bestellten Beilagen waren auch in Ordnung. Da gab es nichts zu meckern. Preis und Leistung fand ich persönlich angemessen. Wie überall in der Gastronomie ist es auch hier nicht mehr billig. Meine Frau und ich sind der Meinung, das man dieses Restaurant ohne schlechtes Gewissen empfehlen kann.

Das Essen war ganz okay, nicht mehr, für die gebotene Qualität aber entschieden zu teuer. Das eigentliche Highlight des Restaurants, die "Golden Cage" Bar war verwaist, eine Karte für Cocktails haben wir nicht gesehen. Da um halb elf die letzte Rund eingeleitet wurde, haben wir die weiteren Getränke dann woanders genossen.

Das Essen war toll. Die Location ist außergewöhnlich. Der Service ist sensationell. Danke!

Sehr schönes Lokal, ich war mit meiner Frau an Karfreitag dort. Angefangen beim Ambiente, dem sehr aufmerksamen Service, sowie dem wirklich hervorragenden Essen bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Wir waren das erste Mal dort, gewiss nicht zum letzen Mal.

Das Steak-Tasting im Maredo Hagen war ein echtes Highlight. Alle Steaks waren perfekt zubereitet und geschmacklich einfach top. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die absolut außergewöhnlich freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung. Man hat sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und bestens betreut gefühlt. Am Ende kam sogar noch der Betriebsleiter persönlich zu uns an den Tisch, um nachzufragen, ob alles gepasst hat – eine sehr aufmerksame und sympathische Geste. Auch das Ambiente ist außergewöhnlich und sorgt für eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Wir können das Restaurant definitiv empfehlen. Es lohnt sich – wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ein aussergewöhnlicher Steakhaus. Das Ambiente ist einzigartig, eine Mischung zwischen Fabrik, Babylon Berlin und stilvolles Restaurant. Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir sind total begeistert. Und kommen auch sehr gerne wieder.

Wir waren gestern spontan dort eingekehrt. Wurden freundlich begrüßt und zu unserem Tisch geführt. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und konnten in aller Ruhe unser Essen auswählen. Und das war wirklich ganz hervorragend. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Richtig tolle Atmosphäre Getopt wurde der Abend von einem sehr sehr leckerem Nachtisch, den wir leider nicht fotografiert haben...

Durch die Sendung "Mein Lokal, Dein Lokal" hatte ich hohe Ansprüche an diesem Lokal. Vorne weg.... Das Lokal ist wirklich sehr schön... Die Toiletten passen leider nur nicht irgendwie dazu...zu Mal man erst reinschauen muss , was Herren oder Damentoiletten ist. Anbringung von Schildern wäre hilfreich. Wir waren gestern nachträglich dort als Weihnachtsfest von der Firma . Unser Termin war eigentlich im Dezember , wurde aber krankheitsbedingt seitens Restaurant gecancelt. Das ist auch nicht schlimm...kann passieren... Wir trafen gegen 19 Uhr dort ein und wollten an der Bar etwas trinken. Tischreservierung war um 20 Uhr. Man fühlte sich dort etwas verloren , da am Tresen nicht dauerhaft ein Barkeeper zur Verfügung stande und wir auf unsere Getränke lange warten mussten. Um 20 Uhr wurde uns dann mitgeteilt, das unser Tisch nun zur Verfügung steht. Wir haben auf die letzte Person gewartet und sind dann zum Restaurant rüber gegangen. Leider wurden wir nicht persönlich zum Tisch geführt, was ich bei so einem Restaurant Vorraussetze. Wir mussten dem Restaurant schon Tage vorher unsere Gerichte mitteilen, damit sie diese einplanen können. Verständlich bei 15 Personen . Wir bekamen ein Brotkorb mit Rote Beete Creme. War sehr lecker . Aber für 15 Personen NUR 3 Brotkörbe hinzustellen, fand ich arg wenig, da auch nicht viel drin war. Nach einer Stunde bekamen wir dann Mal unsere Vorspeise.... empfand ich schon arg lang. Wie gesagt.... Wir hatten unsere Gerichte dem Restaurant schon Tage / Wochen vorher zukommen gelassen. Das Essen war ok... Hat mich aber nicht umgehauen. Ich habe das AUS Rinderfilet 300gr. für 65€ gegessen. War für mich absolut nichts besonderes und würde es mir auch nicht nochmal bestellen. Aber das ist hier Geschmacksache. Aber warum ich hier dem Restaurant nur 2 Sterne gebe ist , das am Service UNBEDINGT was verändert werden muss!!!! Es kann nicht sein , das die Kellner einfach an unseren Tisch vorbei gehen und nicht sehen das unsere Getränke leer sind. Man musste förmlich fast betteln das man was bekommt. Man hat oft gesehen , das die Angestellten in der Küche nur da standen. Und ehrlich....dieses Restaurant war absolut nicht voll!!! Wenn man doch weiß,das eine größere Gruppe kommt, die feiern will, dann setze ich mindestens 2 Angestellte dafür ein das sie sich drum kümmern. Wir wurden auch nicht einmal gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist....ob es geschmeckt hat...nichts..... Wir fühlten uns hier irgendwie nicht willkommen. Das habe ich leider nun zum ersten Mal erlebt und bin richtig enttäuscht. Ich kann dieses Restaurant absolut nicht weiterempfehlen. Sie hätten gestern nen richtigen guten Umsatz machen können...aber anscheind war ihnen das egal. Sehr traurig. Unsere Weihnachtsfeier werden wir nicht mehr dort verbringen und auch privat werden wir es leider nicht mehr besuchen.

Insgesamt ein gelungener Abend. Wir waren zu dritt. Beide Damen hatten Burger. Ich ein Rumpsteak. Der Service war schnell und freundlich. Ein Stern bei Ambiente geht ab wegen der Musik.

Essen Top, Bedienung „Flop“. Wir hätten gerne mehr getrunken. Zu Beginn war die Bedienung bemüht, nach dem Essen leider gar nicht mehr. Es lag wohl an Personalmangel, das hat man uns aber erst am Ende gesagt. Wir haben die „Kritik“ geäußert und sie wurde angenommen. Trotzdem ein schöner Abend, kann man weiter empfehlen :)

Kostenpflichtig Parkplätze sind in genügender Anzahl in umliegenden Parkhäusern vorhanden. Das Ambiente ist modern und sehr gemütlich. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und Aufmerksam. Das Essen ist qualitativ sehr gut und hochwertig. Die Portionen sind gut bemessen. Also alles in allem eine Positive Erfahrung, es hat alles gepasst.Ich komme gerne wieder, macht weiter so!

Wir waren im MAREDO Beef & Beer in Hagen essen und sind rundum begeistert. Die Qualität der Speisen ist wirklich hervorragend – das Steak war perfekt auf den Punkt gegart, wunderbar zart und geschmacklich einfach top. Auch die Beilagen und Saucen haben absolut überzeugt. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist auch der Service: freundlich, aufmerksam und sehr professionell, ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Für die gebotene Qualität ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis fast schon überraschend günstig. Hier bekommt man wirklich erstklassiges Essen zu einem mehr als fairen Preis. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder und können das MAREDO Beef & Beer in Hagen uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von fünf Personen hier und ich hatte vorab reserviert – was definitiv sinnvoll war. Je später der Abend wurde, desto voller wurde es, was ich absolut nachvollziehen kann. Geparkt habe ich in den Elbershallen. Das Parkhaus ist hell, gut erreichbar und preislich völlig in Ordnung. Von dort aus geht man entweder durch den Durchgang oder einmal außen herum durch die restlichen Elbershallen. Am Restaurant angekommen gibt es zwei Eingänge. Nach einer kleinen Treppe nach oben gelangt man zum Empfang, wo wir kurz gewartet haben, bis uns ein Tisch zugewiesen wurde. Unsere Jacken konnten wir an der Garderobe aufhängen und haben dann im großzügigen Gastraum Platz genommen. Der Service war von Anfang an schnell und freundlich. Ich hatte ein alkoholfreies Bier (Maisels & Friends Alkoholfrei < 0,5 % vol.) und die MAREDO Bowl. Die Bowl war wirklich sehr lecker und genau richtig von der Größe. Die Beef-Streifen habe ich raw bestellt – und das war einfach richtig gut. Absolut auf den Punkt. Als Dessert haben wir uns gemeinsam für Cheesecake entschieden, ebenfalls sehr lecker. Der Service war insgesamt sehr aufmerksam. Als es später voller wurde, ist einmal ein Glas Wein untergegangen, aber das wurde entspannt und freundlich gelöst, also kein Drama. Insgesamt ein sehr gelungener Abend mit gutem Essen, angenehmem Ambiente und freundlichem Service. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Mein Mann und ich waren heute das Erste Mal im MAREDO nach der Übernahme vom Elbers 800 und waren begeistert. Von Vorspeisen, über Beilagen bis zu den Steaks waren wir absolut zufrieden. Die Qualität des Fleisches war überragend, die Steaks (Filet und Chateau Brian) waren butterweich und zart und der Garpunkt perfekt getroffen. Preis-Leistung war extrem gut, wir haben schon deutlich teurere Steaks gegessen, welche an die heutige Qualität nicht dran kamen. Wir kommen wieder!

Wir waren dort, da wir am Menü von Le Petit Chef teilgenommen haben. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und zum Tisch begleitet. Die Location ist super, ein interessantes Gelände hier. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Die einzelnen Gänge waren sehr sehr lecker und wurden ansprechend serviert. Die Getränkeauswahl war auch sehr gut. Die Präsentation von Le Petit Chef war wirklich sehr schön und mal etwas Neues für uns. Wir können es nur weiter empfehlen und kommen bestimmt nochmal wieder. Wir waren bei der Show le petit Chef. Die Show war super und das Ambiente im Maredo in Hagen passt super dazu. Das Essen war nicht an allen Stellen, mein Geschmack, was aber nicht schlimm ist. Service war sehr freundlich und gut informiert. Es wurde aber nicht noch mal zusätzlich nach Getränken gefragt nicht mal beim Nachtisch. Es war gut, aber für das, was geboten wurde relativ teuer. Ich kann aber gut verstehen, dass man dieses Event besuchen möchte. Da mein Anhang Geburtstag hatte, wurde dafür auch noch der Tisch gedeckt und der Nachtisch speziell dekoriert. Danke

1. Mal nach der Namensänderung von Elbers800 zu Maredo wieder da gewesen. Die Preise sind runter gegangen, die Qualität war sehr gut. 🤗

Seit der Übernahme von Elbers 800 durch Maredo hat sich die Fleischqualität massiv verschlechtert. Das Fleisch war schlichtweg ungenießbar. Obwohl behauptet wird, die Qualität sei dieselbe wie früher bei Elbers, kann ich das absolut nicht bestätigen – ganz im Gegenteil.

Das Restaurant haben wir unter den vorherigen Namen auch besucht und können gut vergleichen. Das Ambiente ist weiterhin Top. Die Speisekarte ist überschaubar. Preise sind gehoben. Unsere Steaks waren sehr gut. Die Beilage war etwas klein. Der Service war eigentlich Top. Bis auf den Zeitpunkt vom Nachtisch. Ich hätte mich über eine neue Serviette gefreut und das man darauf den Löffel platziert. Leider gibt es in der Bar nebenan keine Cocktail Auswahl mehr sondern nur die gleichen Getränke wie im Restaurant. Die Centralbar hat uns damals überzeugt. Aktuell würden wir wegen Getränken andere Locations aufsuchen. Ein Besuch im Restaurant können wir empfehlen. Im Vergleich zu anderen Steakhäusern ist noch etwas Potenzial nach oben.

Das Personal ist sehr nett, freundlich, und das Essen war sehr gut

Diese Bar ist der Hammer. Da hat sich jemand viele Gedanken gemacht und einen klasse Stiel umgesetzt - heute also nach Betreiberwechsel ein weiterer Anlauf. Beim betreten des Gebäudes laufen wir auf die Toiletten zu, während deren Tür mit Keil weit offen festgestellt ist, durch den Flur auf die erste Etage deren eigentlich feingearbeiter Boden nicht vom Baustaub befreit ist. Nachdem wir in der Tür zur Bar stehen kommt nach einiger Zeit ein freundlicher Mitarbeiter auf uns zu, welchem wir sagen, wir schauten nur und wir seien schon oft da gewesen, entwickelt sich ein kurzer offener Informationsaustausch . Der Satz des Mitarbeiters: „…demnächst nicht nur gucken sondern auch Geld dalassen..“ hat mich und meine Frau fassungslos zurück gelassen. Wir haben unter verschiedenen Betreibern schon oft Freunde mit dorthin genommen, ab heute hat sich die Sache erledigt.

Essen und Service waren top. Aber in der kalten Jahreszeit ist das Restaurant nicht wirklich empfehlenswert. Es war schlicht kalt im Restaurant. Gäste am Nebentisch haben, auf Grund der stark kalt blasenden Heizung, auf einen anderen Tisch bestanden. Ich hatte, Gott sei Dank, einen dicken Winterpullover an. Kalt war's mit trotzdem.

Wir waren Silvester dort. Restaurant war gut besucht und hatte leider nur 3 Mitarbeiter im Service. Der war nett aber nicht aufmerksam, der neben Tisch konnte erst nach 20 Minuten Getränke bestellen. Bei uns ging es etwas schneller. Es war sehr kalt auf Nachfrage hieß es die Heizung sei ausgefallen. Es zog ordentlich ! Essen war ok.

Wir können uns den schlechten Bewertungen nicht anschließen. Zumal man es manchen eh nicht recht machen kann. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und geschmeckt. Ich kenne Maredo schon sehr lange seit über 20 Jahren und es hat sich nichts in der Qualität geändert. Alle Klugscheißer die meinen es geht noch besser. Ja, geht es. Aber auch bei euch Zuhause? Ganz sicher nicht. Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Essen war super, Service war perfekt und super. Toll mit den Kindern umgegangen und den Kindern sogar einen Blick in die Küche ermöglicht. Mehr geht nicht. Es gibt natürlich viele gute Steakrestaurants. Das ist aber super und das Ambiente dort ist Outstanding und das Gesamtpaket muss stimmen. Und das stimmt auf jeden Fall. Wir kommen sicher wieder. Mit fünf glücklichen Personen dort gegessen inkl. zwei Kindern 9 und 12 Jahre alt . Von uns eine absolute Empfehlung für einen schönen Abend. Ambiente top, Service war mehr als bemüht alles zu schaffen, Respekt dafür. Allerdings sind drei Kellner bei voller Auslastung (31.12) Laden war restlos voll, einfach zu wenig, vorallem wenn nicht jeder alles macht (Bestellung/Service/Zahlung). Das sparen am Personal trübt leider sehr das Erlebnis. Kleiner Tipp: Den Vorhang zum Küchengang gegen eine Schwenktür ersetzen, es war schon verdammt kalt.

"A Maredo, but not a Maredo" We entered Maredo and left our expectations of the ordinary at the door. What greeted us was not a rehash of familiar routines, but an evening that surprised us—quiet, yet impressive. The ambiance was fabulous. Warm, inviting, and serene. High praise for the kitchen. See picture. And then the service: A warm welcome from the start, attentive, present, never intrusive. Between courses, a genuine inquiry to see if everything was alright. And everything was. Excellent value for money. Amazing atmosphere, pleasant music in a relaxed, chill style. The food and drinks left nothing to be desired! I've rarely felt so comfortable in a large restaurant. The staff was attentive and friendly, helpful but not pushy. We had a great time and will definitely be back soon.

My birthday became an unforgettable experience. Thank you to the staff at Maredo. My family and I were treated to a complimentary glass of sparkling wine, and I was treated to a light show with the song "Happy Birthday." Thank you so much!

THAT'S HOW PROFESSIONALS ARE!! My rump steak was sinewy, but the friendly server immediately replaced it. The person in charge even apologized again and bought us a free coffee, saving our evening. Shit happens. You can't control what's inside the meat. The second portion was exactly as I'd imagined it. A big thank you to everyone!

We were surprised that this steakhouse received such negative reviews. The service was more than perfect, the food was fantastic, and the ambiance speaks for itself because it's simply a great location, unlike anything else in North Rhine-Westphalia. In the end, we had a lovely chat with the owner, and we have to say... you've won us over as regulars.

We were a group of 16 for dinner. When making the reservation, we had to pay a deposit and commit to a set menu from four suggested main courses (totally ridiculous), as well as a starter and dessert. Every year during the pre-Christmas season, we go out to eat with 16-18 people and never had to pay a deposit or commit to a menu. Eleven of us opted for rump steak, unfortunately. The meat was very sinewy on all of them. I complained about mine and received a replacement, but it was only marginally better. Our server was very attentive and friendly. My conclusion: never again Maredo. And I paid a lot of money for the poor quality.

The food was delicious, but the wait was a bit long. The atmosphere was very pleasant.

The steak was not of good quality. The ambiance was good.

We were there on Saturday, received a friendly welcome, and were shown to our reserved table. The drinks arrived quickly, and apart from the excessively loud music, we felt comfortable. By the time our food arrived, we had decided on the daily special. The meat was a disaster, and the portion size was unfortunately too small. After a minor complaint, we did receive two complimentary drinks, but that didn't save the evening. In short, never again; this place is cursed. 🌟 🤷‍♂️

Six of us ate there yesterday. We liked the atmosphere of the restaurant, and the music was okay in terms of volume. We would have liked to go to the bar, based on a friend's recommendation, but this was apparently not possible due to legal regulations. Since we had made a reservation in advance, a reminder of this would have been helpful. The drinks were good, and the staff were friendly and not pushy. We ordered three portions of rum steak. I can only rate the quality of the meat one star. Initially, the meat didn't come out as ordered, medium-well; it was still quite rare. At least they put it back on the grill, but that didn't improve the quality at all. Almost half of each portion was inedible. The other dishes we ordered were of the same quality. We won't be going there again; there are better value-for-money alternatives.

It's a shame. We used to enjoy the cocktail bar here, but it seems to be gone now. Instead, they only serve regular drinks.

Disappointing experience at Maredo Steakhaus Hagen I recently visited Maredo Steakhaus in Hagen and was unfortunately disappointed. While the atmosphere was cozy, the food left a lot to be desired. The portions were large, but the quality of the meat and side dishes was disappointing. The steak wasn't juicy, and the side dishes were bland. The service was friendly, but not particularly attentive. The prices weren't exactly cheap either. I wouldn't recommend Maredo Steakhaus, as there are many other good steakhouses in Hagen, such as Adria Steakhaus or Steakhaus Rustica. Perhaps Maredo Steakhaus should revise its cuisine and service to satisfy customers.

I went to Maredo in Hagen last night and was unfortunately very disappointed. The service was unfriendly and the food left a lot to be desired. The steak wasn't as requested and the fries were overcooked. The quality of the ingredients didn't seem to be the best either. For the price I paid, I expected better quality. The atmosphere was cold and the food was simply not good. I wouldn't recommend Maredo Hagen for the time being until the issues are resolved. *Conclusion* Disappointing experience, poor quality, too expensive, lackluster service.

We celebrated our birthday there with 120 guests and are still absolutely thrilled. Everything went fantastically well. The atmosphere is dreamy and unique, the food was delicious and generous, and the staff, from the kitchen to the bar and the chef, were super professional and exceptionally friendly. A huge thank you for this wonderful evening, one we will never forget!

A very nice restaurant, friendly staff, good service, and the food is of the usual Maredo quality. Reserving with OpenTable was a bit difficult, but they responded promptly via text message. I would recommend renovating the entrance area, as the restroom shares the stairwell entrance with the restaurant. We found this rather suboptimal. All in all, a lovely evening.

Addendum: The review was for the Elbers 800! NOT for Maredo. Stunning!

This restaurant is unbeatable for its bad food and unfriendliness. 15 minutes after ordering our steaks, the employee came over and told us the meat we'd ordered was rotten. We were already considering leaving, but instead we ordered rump steaks that were completely smoky and inedible. Stay away from this restaurant. Because, despite complaining, the waiter didn't care at all.

A unique experience, I have to say. The show and the ambiance are worth every cent. The service is also very polite and accommodating! The food is high quality, but I have to deduct a star for the quantity. I understand that everything has its price and I am willing to pay the price. But when I leave after a 4-course meal feeling slightly hungry, I do wonder if it was worth the price. Of course, that's complaining at a high level, but I do want to be full (in every restaurant!!!). I'm not the tallest person and I wonder how tall people with bigger appetites get so full.

We wanted to celebrate our 18th birthday at Maredo in Hagen – unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment. As soon as we entered, the entrance area smelled strongly of toilets, which was very unpleasant. Over the phone, we were promised a nice seat and confirmed that bringing a cake wouldn't be a problem. However, nothing had been prepared on site, even though the restaurant was empty. Instead of a friendly greeting, they first checked whether there was enough space. That's not how you should be treated on a special day. We ended up spending our €200 elsewhere. Very disappointing and absolutely not recommended.

We wanted to celebrate my son's 18th birthday at Maredo in Hagen – unfortunately, it turned out to be a rather unpleasant experience, even though we had discussed everything over the phone beforehand. Upon entering, we were immediately struck by a strong, unpleasant odor in the entrance area, reminiscent of a toilet. We had been assured a nice seat over the phone, and it was also confirmed that bringing a cake would be no problem. However, nothing had been prepared on site – even though there were hardly any guests in the restaurant. Instead of a friendly greeting, we were first given a critical look and checked whether there was enough space, even though almost everything was still free and we had reserved seats. We were finally shown to a table right next to the open kitchen, and the waitress immediately turned around without a word and walked away without waiting for us to be seated. Instead of offering us a solution, they offered us the exit and made it clear that we should just leave. That's not how you should treat guests on a special day. We decided to spend our money – around 200 euros – at another restaurant. Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience. We will never set foot in this restaurant again. Absolutely not recommended. Unfriendly and very poor service, more appearance than substance.

Great atmosphere, terrible service. I've rarely experienced such unfriendly staff. When asked if the menu on the table was the drinks menu, the employee replied, "Yes, just like it says." It's a real embarrassing thing to lecture customers like that. With the main course, we complained about a cold and inedible side dish. There was no apology - further criticism during the billing process was also acknowledged by the same employee with a "well, okay." While the open kitchen looks cool, it certainly doesn't accommodate the kitchen staff's absences. Throwing meat into the (presumably) freezer in a fit of rage doesn't look particularly professional. Never again!

The ambiance is absolutely fantastic! The food was okay. The baked potato was unfortunately hard and cold. It was returned, however, and didn't appear on the bill. The waiter "in charge" that evening was unfortunately very unpleasant and seemed more comfortable lecturing guests than doing his job. After about 15 minutes, we were informed that the steak wouldn't be served on the hot stone for another 40 minutes, as the stone had to be brought up to operating temperature. We've never experienced anything like that before, especially not more than an hour after the restaurant opened. All in all, it wasn't a pleasant evening, and we will continue to visit and support other restaurants.

A steakhouse with an exceptional ambiance. The food is excellent. In addition to the steaks, the burgers are also highly recommended. The service could be improved. If you're coming with a larger group, we recommend making a reservation in advance.

Four of us were at the new Marino Steakhouse (formerly Hohhoffs 800 Grad). The decor remains high-quality and stylish. Unfortunately, our appetizers were initially forgotten, and the first main course only arrived after more than 45 minutes – which was disappointing. Positive: The staff was very friendly and professional. We had apricot schnapps on the house, the main courses were freshly prepared, and the appetizers arrived promptly. Everything was delicious: the fillet steak was excellent, as was the beef carpaccio. Only the herb butter was a bit underseasoned. The burgers were also great – especially with the double meat. In the end, we paid around €150 for four people, which is absolutely fair. Conclusion: Nice place with a lot of potential. Despite a rocky start, a successful evening.

If you want to experience something special and are willing to pay a little more, this restaurant is a must. The ambiance is unbeatable, the food is outstanding, and the service is absolutely professional. The whole package is just perfect.

The ambiance is very nice; we were there when SteakHouse 800 was there. It's now called Maredo, and I'm familiar with this concept from Münster and Dortmund. I have to say that the Maredo here in Hagen has precious little to do with the "Maredo franchise model." The food was okay, but I wouldn't go there again. Two tables ordered before us, and we had to wait about an hour for our food. Ours was occupied by three other tables, so it was very manageable. There's no typical Maredo salad buffet. 👎

We were there for the Le Petit Chef event. The chef gave us a very warm welcome. The show was brilliantly executed by the partner. The kitchen, too, delivered the food just in time for the video. The quality of the food was top-notch; we thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was attentive and unobtrusive. A small sniff was handled perfectly. For health reasons, a low-sugar cocktail was offered that wasn't on the menu. All in all, a harmonious experience that was absolutely worth the 120-kilometer drive. Thank you for the wonderful afternoon/evening.

Hello everyone, NOTHING for those on a tight budget, but worth an EXPERIENCE. As a guest, you feel particularly valued here. Extremely friendly staff. The food is perfectly prepared and presented. Everything tastes just as perfect as it looks. You can have a good conversation in the large room and the high ceiling is a feast for the eyes. You don't see something like that often. I can only recommend it to you for very special occasions.

The ambience was very nice and the service was also good, the waiter was very nice, the food tasted good too. 1 point deducted because we have eaten better quality steaks. Price performance ratio is right. Our daughter was allowed to get ice cream herself in the kitchen together with the waitress, which was very nice and of course a highlight for our daughter. We would definitely eat here again.

UPDATE March 7, 2025: This bar is visually a 100 and the drinks are perfect despite the slimmed down menu. So actually 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! I still rate it with one star because for the second time we were treated very unfriendly and rather rude by a service employee. The two ladies are ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❣️ Previous review: We only rate the bar, service and ambience here. For us it's the only useful bar in Hagen with consistently delicious and beautifully decorated drinks. Priced at 8-10 euros, it's completely reasonable for this quality and the beautiful ambience. We would particularly like to highlight the bartender, who seemed quite young, but delivered quick and, above all, professional work and information, no matter how busy it was. I had to revise my saying that no one makes drinks as good as Caipi Alex at this place. We will be visiting there more often and can recommend this bar to everyone.

Unfortunately I have to rate the price/performance with one star because they no longer accepted our €50 voucher. Because he was already older than 3 years. We accepted that that evening and didn't think anything of it. But in retrospect we know that the voucher was still valid. If the voucher was purchased in 2021... It is valid until the end of 2024. and we were there in December 2024. It's really a shame... Because otherwise everything was good. You kept the voucher that evening, evil is whoever thinks evil.

Disappointing! Outrageous! Incredible! Reserved for New Year's Eve 2 weeks ago!!! When making a reservation, there was no mention of a menu or an event... today, December 28th, 24, we are called and told that there is only a 4-course menu for €110 per person and the menu is briefly listed (which according to the menu would NOT be €110)! Thank you for ruining our New Year's Eve, because 2 days before New Year's Eve you can't get a table anywhere!!!

Atmosphere and ambience AMAZING, service always top, nice and fast. The food is always great too. The dessert there is worth a visit alone. Only the steak chef was in a bit of a bad mood for a while. The dry age fillet was a little too dry on the outside. Otherwise nothing to complain about
