El Toro in Emsdetten

Waren mit Reservierung dort. Vom Eintreten bis zum Verlassen des Lokals war alles Bombe 😄👍 Essen sehr lecker- hatten Steak und Schnitzel 😋

Wir haben einen sehr schönen Abend gehabt. Danke an das Team und die Küche. Die Steaks auf dem heißen Stein sind super, aber auch mien Filet mit Röstzwiebeln hat mir hervorragend geschmeckt. Für Nachtisch war leider kein Platz mehr. Service ebenfalls sehr gut. Wir kommen wieder.

Alles wirklich bestens - tolle Cuts - super Präsentation und Service - rundum gelungen. Kommen sehr gern wieder. Danke für den schmackhaften und kurzweiligen Abend.

Sind regelmäßig (mindestens einmal im Jahr) hier. Und immer wieder sehr zufrieden.

El Toro, einfach eine Klasse für sich. Wer es liebt, sehr gute Qualität des Fleisches. Hervorragend gebraten, gegrillt wie zuvor sehr freundlich beraten und erklärt wurde. Alles, wie besprochen, kam dann auch so lecker auf den Tisch.

Meine Partnerin und ich haben beide ein Filetsteak genossen. Und wir waren beide begeistert 😄 besser geht es vermutlich nicht, medium rare, super zart, die Beilagen genauso perfekt. Abgerundet durch super nette Bedienung - wir kommen sicher wieder!

Wir waren Sonntag im El Toro in Emsdetten essen. Als Vorspeise hatten wir Bruschetta – die war wirklich lecker und frisch. Ich hatte den Steakteller mit Folienkartoffel und Dip. Das Steak war sehr gut zubereitet und geschmacklich top. Die Beilage hat auch gut gepasst. Nur die kalte Tomate auf dem Teller habe ich nicht ganz verstanden, die wirkte etwas fehl am Platz. Mein Mann hatte das Cordon Bleu – das war ebenfalls sehr gut und schön saftig. Für Mayo und Ketchup musste man extra zahlen, was aber für uns in Ordnung war. Zum Nachtisch gab es Lava Cake mit Sahne und Vanilleeis. Geschmacklich gut, vielleicht könnte man hier etwas reduzieren und stattdessen noch einen kleinen frischen Obstanteil ergänzen – das würde es noch etwas runder machen. Insgesamt waren wir zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder. Unbedingt vorab ein Tisch reservieren

Das Essen war geschmacklich sehr gut. Wartezeit war etwas lang. Getränke wie z.B. Cola Zero waren nicht mehr vorrätig. Die Preise sind vollkommen in Ordnung. Die Bedienung war nervös aber sehr nett.

Das Essen war lecker, aber die heiße Platte war zu lange mit dem Steak in Kontakt, wodurch es zu durchgegart wurde, selbst wenn man ein medium/rare Steak bestellt.

Essen war sehr lecker leider muss man beim Steak den Beilagen Salat extra bezahlen wobei es beim günstigen Schnitzel gratis dazu bekommt der Service ist nett und gut

Wir waren heute das erste Mal dort und waren sehr begeistert. Kommen bald wieder. Man kann es nur empfehlen.

Ich war schon mehrfach hier und kann mit voller Überzeugung sagen: Ich habe noch nie ein besseres Steak gegessen! Das Kartoffelpüree und die Röstzwiebeln sind hausgemacht und geschmacklich einfach hervorragend. Der Service ist jedes Mal äußerst freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Wer einen rundum gelungenen Abend verbringen möchte, sollte unbedingt einen Tisch reservieren. Qualität und exzellenter Service haben ihren Preis – und hier ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut gerechtfertigt.

Es ist ein schönes gemütliches Restaurant mit ausgezeichneten Speisen. Reservierung ist sinnvoll.

Das Essen war richtig gut, ich kann Vor allem die Steaks, Champignons und das Grill Gemüse empfehlen. Der Service ist 1A, Ambiente auch super, was will man mehr? Gerne wieder 👍🏻

A very nice restaurant. Nice ambiance. The online table reservation worked perfectly, even though it was only made 24 hours in advance. My guests from Berlin also really enjoyed it. My fillet steak was very good. Unfortunately, you have to order and pay for every little extra, which makes it quite expensive. The atmosphere in the restaurant was not good at all. The steaks are served on hot, sizzling pans, which creates a lot of cooking steam throughout the room, which is very unpleasant.

We ate there again a few days ago. Hands down, for me, it's the best steakhouse I know, period. I love eating steaks and also love to grill my own food. I have a lot of experience, and can therefore say with a clear conscience: This place knows what it's doing. Meat quality, doneness, portion sizes, everything is top-notch. The staff are friendly and pleasant, helpful, and everyone gives you a smile. It's really just fun, and that has to be said. The prices are high, but I'll tell you honestly, it's worth it, and I don't know when we've left that much of a tip in a restaurant; we were simply satisfied. Finally, one more nitpick: The waitresses could come by a bit more often, and the chairs are a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise: Keep up the good work, you're doing a great job! If you like steak, you're in good hands there. When you come in, it looks very cozy, not too bright and not too dark. Here too you have to reserve a table. The meat is very hard, cooked to perfection and the side dishes are also very tasty. The people who work there are always very friendly, even when things get stressful. I'm a steak lover and go there again and again. It's a little more expensive there, but the prices represent quality and I'm happy to pay that.

We were there this evening to eat with the family in a small group (6 people). We reserved a table in advance. When we arrived at the restaurant we were given a very uncomfortable table right next to the entrance and the counter. When we asked whether we could get another table (again: we have reserved), we were told that unfortunately it was not possible because a colleague had forgotten to enter reservations. Instead, we were “taught” that we should have stated when making the reservation that we would like a table inside. Unfortunately this information is too late for this visit. We noticed several times during our meal that one or two reservations had been lost. The food itself was okay, unfortunately nothing more. The schnitzel tasted as if the fat needed to be changed again. The steaks on the steak plate were good. The salad we ordered was a slightly larger starter salad with chicken. My grill plate was very ok. A tiny steak (2 bites) that was almost done. A piece of minced meat and chicken, plus potato wedges (I assume from the bag). All in all, my conclusion is: Price and quality didn't match today, so next time we'll go to a different steakhouse.

Very very tasty food. I had the fillet steak, which was buttery soft, and green asparagus! Perfect food, super lovely service/kitchen team. Price performance also top. I can only recommend it!

We have been to this steakhouse several times and every rating would have been 4-5 stars 🌟. However, today I can only give one star for the service. The salads in advance of certain plates were completely forgotten. My side dish was forgotten with the steak and I received a single drink in 2.5 hours. When asked about the service, the waiter became mushy and excused himself by saying that there weren't enough staff today. In return, guests who asked for a table without a reservation were repeatedly asked to take a seat that had just become available. During the payment process you were abruptly asked to enter your pin. The device was then taken from the table and the waiter went to the counter without saying a word, where he then spoke at length to his colleague about us. It's just a good thing we couldn't hear that wording. The food was good, but the side salad is no longer as tasty and the portions are getting smaller and smaller... However, the price increases. As it says on the restaurant's website: Our friendly and attentive staff will ensure that your visit with us is an unforgettable experience TRUE…. But not as expected!

Wrongly taken order, very kindly corrected by the service staff by serving the ordered food quickly. Very exaggeratedly snipish from the boss/managing director ???, "Mistakes can happen sometimes..." With a very down-to-earth tone of voice. A no go in this not even really reasonable price situation❗👎 A relatively normal mayor steak without any side dish for €41,-??? steep. In total I paid just under €100. Very unpleasant then also to mention that yes, yes then a drink is on the house. A nightcap, espresso or something... M.E. ...this would have been a given! Especially since we were only able to eat together part of the time. It was a special evening and the atmosphere was moderate. Although we didn't even complain, we just legitimately pointed out the wrong dish. Service may also be delivered as specified in the prices. I was here for the 2nd and last time❗❗❗ Too bad.🤷🏽‍♂️

I went there for dinner for the first time yesterday. My expectations were very high due to the many good things I heard! I wasn't disappointed at all! The food was outstanding!! 5/5 stars!! We had the fillet steak twice, which came sizzling in the pan. Plus fried champions, fried onions, potato wedges, princess beans and garlic bread! The food was simply outstanding, there's no other way to say it! Please just remember, quality has its price!! However, this meal is totally worth it. Will definitely come back!

We have always enjoyed going to El Toro for special occasions for many years and were happy to recommend it to others! But unfortunately we were a bit disappointed on our last two visits! The meat in the plated dishes was lukewarm to very cooled down! Attempts were made to improve upon demand, but the result was somehow not satisfactory! Steak in the hot pan was good! The portions of the side dishes also feel smaller! At the moment we don't think the price/performance ratio is that appropriate!

Very tasty food and super friendly service. Went there again 3 years later, the food was great again.. But the prices for Sasse schnapps are completely wrong.. A lager grain or cocoa nut costs €5.60, and then the hammer, a sixer costs €6.60.. it's still possible When shopping, the price for cocoa nuts and sixes are the same. Even my work colleagues from Detten think it's a complete rip-off.

Meat enjoyment at its finest. What we were able to experience this evening surpassed anything we had ever eaten in terms of meat. The selection of the vers. Steak and meat products are quality class A. The very warm and beautiful atmosphere was a feast for the eyes right from the start. When the cook gave us the verse. Explaining the types of cattle and their subtleties, it quickly became clear to us that this would be a gourmet feast. It was served on a hot special pan in which the meat continued to cook at the table to the exact point we wanted. The team's service was perfect and we received first class service. You have often heard about El Toro. It's a shame not to have eaten here before. This restaurant can only be recommended 100%. We thank the Simic family for this perfect enjoyment. Even after all this time, it's still the best thing meat heaven has given me so far 🥰

Spoiled in Münster, getting to know each other for the first time was quite good. I have to say I would also get to know the restaurant to try out other dishes.

Food is great and consistently stable. Service is ok but doesn't match the prices. Prices always went up in one direction. Basically ok but too strong compared to the market. Then everything has to be right.

Very nice atmosphere and really good steaks. The service is friendly, attentive and quick. Our steaks were perfectly medium rare. As a special highlight, there is also dry-aged beef. You have to ask about the price because the types of meat are always changing. It is advisable to ask about the relevant type and price when making a table reservation, as the meat is separated from the piece with a band saw. This process then takes a little time.

Stuffed rump steak sounded good. It was more of a lean cordon bleu with a wafer-thin layer of meat. My wife had the real rump steak, but unfortunately it was so dry that none of us could eat it. Tight seating. A subsequent drink order was forgotten. The side salad came 30 minutes before the main course. The starters (carpaccio and goat cheese) were top. Also the dessert Tartufo, but at €11 for a scoop of ice cream it's quite steep. No comparison to the Ranch House in Münster, for example, that is more recommended. Even other guests said to themselves outside the door that they didn't want to visit the restaurant again.

The food and service were very good. But..... The prices have increased enormously, with a surcharge of between 3 and 5 on all dishes, which is really steep in my opinion. It is not unknown that everything is becoming more expensive, but this is already a number. We had to compare the old menu and the new one!! You have to think carefully about whether you go there again!!!

War wieder mal ein Erlebnis!!! 300 g Entrecot mit Princesbohnen Sauce Bernaise, vorher ein Gulaschsüppchen......lecker. Superzartes Steak. Jetzt soll noch Dessert kommen. Also.....Nr. 1 im Kreis, bestens zu empfehlen. Bis die Tage mal.

Wir waren zu unserer Weihnachtsfeier mit 6 Personen im El Toro essen. Die Steaks und das anschließende Dessert waren perfekt zubereitet, der Service sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Es war ein rundum gelungener Abend und wir kommen auf alle Fälle gerne wieder.

Wenn ihr ein Filetsteak bestellt, kommt es auf einer heißen Platte, was echt klasse ist. Bestellt es aber englisch, da medium schnell in welldone übergeht.

Guter, netter Service und leckere Speisen. Das Filet war perfekt zubereitet.
