The service was absolutely top – Özi in particular made our evening unforgettable: attentive, warm and with that certain something extra. We were here for the second time now. On our first visit we found the quality and taste of the food very good, although it could have been a little spicier for my taste. However, the team was extremely accommodating and offered to call ahead next time so they could adjust the dishes accordingly. No sooner said than done: We made a reservation for 13 people on a Saturday to break the fast. Although it was very busy that evening, I was initially told that customizing the seasoning would be difficult. Nevertheless, the team made a lot of effort to take our wishes into account and the food was prepared in a timely manner. A particularly nice touch was that we were served dates - a common tradition for breaking our fast - even though I had simply mentioned that we were breaking our fast. Our favorites so far are tacos, nachos and quesadillas - we've had a bit of everything and have never been disappointed. This time the food was even better! The dishes were prepared more authentically and refined with more intense spices, exactly as requested. I was also offered a hotter sauce, which rounded off the taste experience perfectly. The ambience is also beautiful - with loving Mexican decorations that create a cozy and authentic atmosphere. The restaurant is also very child-friendly, which we particularly liked. The staff is attentive and takes great care of the little ones. Thank you for the great service – it was really a special experience!

We were visiting Frankfurt for business and trying different restaurants every night. This place is amazing for Mexican food, as mexican as one can get in Frankfurt. The ambience is nice, good is great and service is okay, it could be better. Loved the Churros though, they were just perfect.

We chose El Sombrero for a birthday party for 10 people. It was great! The ambience of the bar and lounge paired with great food was great. The food, we all had starters, the main courses mainly fajitas in all variations were super good. Tasty and good portions. The drinks, mainly cocktails, were great with and without alcohol. Overall, with the birthday song and a flaming dessert, great. The prices are ok, not cheap but reasonable. We'd love to come back there.

I can absolutely recommend El Sombrero in Neu Isenburg. Courteous service and inviting ambience in Mexican style. The pulled beef burger Black Angus tasted excellent 🍔😋👌and a matching drink. It’s definitely worth a visit here 😉👍 Gladly again ✅

It was really a great decision to come here. The staff is great and the food is first class. It's a good thing I was there at happy hour because the cocktails are just amazing, really recommended! Next time I'm in Frankfurt I'll go straight back to El Sombrero!

At the weekend, I and a friend went there for lunch, that was the only thing we ate together and a few hours later I started having a bad headache and stomach ache.. I threw up so often and it smelled so bad. I've never experienced anything like that before.. I went there very often and almost always got delicious food.. It wasn't until the next day when I was talking to my friend that I realized that it was food poisoning.. oh well, up until now I've always enjoyed eating there but never anymore.

Food was ok. At first I couldn't understand why the waiters kept asking if they could clear my plate even though there was still salad on it. After asking several times, it finally became too much for me and I had the plate cleared away. Shortly afterwards, another waiter came up to us with a “friendly smile” and asked if we could vacate our table and move to the high bar stools instead to make room for other guests. It wasn't a direct request, but combined with the intrusive clearing, I knew we were being pressured to leave. The whole thing felt extremely awkward - like you were at a fast food joint rather than a casual Saturday dinner.

Always a great stay at El Sombrero! I found out about you through a friend (Luis) and we have never been disappointed! The pulled pork burger and the sweet potatoes are a poem! Went for dinner as a couple on a Friday evening. Starter - nachos with super delicious dips. Main course quesadillas and tacos. Both extremely tasty and round in taste. Very nice service (thanks Ötzi) and good wine. We'll definitely be back!

We ordered 3 meals about 2 weeks ago, 2 of which were wraps with chicken and spinach. The wrap wasn't nearly as described, there were a lot of red beans in it that don't belong in it and never were in it, guacamole was also missing and there was red hot sauce instead of sour cream. With both waps. Enchilada with beef was also with a very spicy sauce, the filling was also wrong here and the great thing was that there were only 1 instead of 2. We've eaten there several times, but that was the last time because it was inedible, especially if you don't like spicy or beans. There was no response to our email complaint on the same day. I think the whole thing is a shame, an apology would have been the least.

Unfortunately we couldn't try the restaurant even though we wanted to. Everything looked very inviting on the website, but we just couldn't find it on site. The signage is poor or insufficient, and no one could be reached by phone to help us. It's a shame - we were looking forward to the food! Maybe this will be improved in the future.

Very welcoming, was there a week ago. Yummy! By the way, there's a great Valentine's menu there tomorrow. I was able to try the starter and dessert with my girlfriend. Last Friday we had the pleasure of visiting El Sombrero in Neu-Isenburg. The main reason for our visit was our good friend Özi, who works there as a waiter. And what can I say? Özi is really the best waiter in the world! The restaurant itself is extremely cozy and lovingly decorated. There are so many interesting details to discover that you don't know where to look first. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making the stay very pleasant. The menu is impressively large and offers a wide range of dishes. Particularly noteworthy are the cocktails, which are not only delicious, but also creative and attractively presented. I had the pleasure of trying a pulled beef burrito and I loved it. The ingredients were all fresh and the meat was deliciously prepared. Another highlight of our visit was the personal welcome from the head of the house. He took the time to welcome us. This personal touch rounded off our evening perfectly. Overall, our visit to El Sombrero was a complete success. The food was excellent, the drinks were first class, and the service – thanks to Özi – was simply unbeatable. We can highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to our next visit.

A culinary experience in a class of its own! I recently had the pleasure of dining at El Sombrero and I can say with certainty: it was a completely perfect experience! We were warmly welcomed upon entering and the atmosphere was cozy, yet stylish. The service was attentive, friendly and always available without being intrusive. A special greeting to the woman (unfortunately I forgot her name) and to Özi, the friendly waitresses 🩵 The food was delicious and the sour cream is to die for. The hot wings are particularly noteworthy. A big compliment to the kitchen for putting so much effort into it and paying attention to detail in the preparation. The prices are absolutely fair for the quality offered here. If you are looking for a restaurant that impresses with taste, service and ambience, you should definitely visit El Somrero. I'll definitely be back!

The “Virgin Cocktails 🍹 are also perfect 😍! Praise to the kitchen: The food is super fresh and nothing comes out of the bag! I haven't had such good onions in a long time 🧅 Rings! Fresh, homemade, in a crispy beer batter, hot and juicy, they came to the table. The prawns were still sizzling in the garlic oil and tasted extremely delicious with the warm baguette 🥖! The burrito 🌯 was very nice 😊 with this awesome sauce. Thanks to the great service: fast, attentive, always a smile 😀!
