Classic and rustic tapas bar in Hanau Steinheim including original Mamacita flair. Plenty of selection of different tapas, as well as omelettes and paellas. Garlic must be taken into account and by varying different dishes, you should also bring your wallet accordingly.

Definitely recommended! It's better to book a table in advance! The landlady is very friendly and very concerned about the well-being of the guests! The food is excellent and the service OK! You may have to wait a bit if the restaurant is full! But the taste of the food makes up for it! The only drawback is the parking options? You have to look for something! Great service. Just super nice. Although the prices have increased, the portions have also increased. Price/performance is good. Given the quantity, 3 tapas were almost too much for me. 2 and I was easily more than full. I had the fried baby squid (with legs), chicken with garlic and the fried cheese. But soooo delicious. <3 :)

We were here for the first time yesterday and I'm surprised at the many positive reviews! The really positive thing is the landlady who is very nice. The food was of poor taste. If you want to reorder something you have to ask several times 🙁 There are much better Spaniards in this area. We didn't take any photos.

We tried the tapas bar for the first time and loved it! The sangria was really tasty, perfect for a cozy evening. We particularly enjoyed the Albondigas – they were well seasoned and highly recommended. The bacon-wrapped dates were also excellent, as was the bread with the incredibly delicious aioli. Another highlight was the boss, who was very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely like to come back!

We were invited to a birthday party here. The tapas bar is very rustic and is run by a charming landlady. The menu offers all the delicacies that are familiar from Spain. The menu is very varied and offers something for every taste. 💡 My tip for visiting this restaurant: Order two to a maximum of 3 tapas per person and place everything in the middle of the table. This means everyone at the table has the opportunity to eat all over the map. The place is perfect for going out to eat (and crashing 😜) with friends. We ate at El Sol for the first time yesterday and were warmly welcomed. The service was extremely nice and courteous. We had typical Spanish tapas and dessert. Everything tasted great and was super tasty. We would definitely like to come back. Plus point: Spanish music was playing in the background, which added to the atmosphere. We like it when local music is played in restaurants and no typical German radio music is played.

Beautiful little Spanish pearl in Steinheim's old town. The friendly waitress Dani pampers her guests with her warm manner. Eating there puts you in a good mood. The Spanish map is large. The food tastes good.

If you could give 0 stars I would have given them, tapas were not what you would expect from a Spaniard, they were the worst tapas we have ever eaten. Once and never again, although the service did not calculate 2 tapas out of 5, normal would have been you have to return everything, except the white bread...toilets not clean, etc. very dingy more like a pub....Without words

Here you can simply give full points. Yes, it's not a low-priced restaurant, but you're happy to pay every euro. The tapas were mostly "sabroso" - I was also able to learn a new word yesterday ;-), the service was outstanding. All you can do is clap your hands and say thank you. Hier wurde mir heute eine super-leckere "Asopado de Mariscos" serviert. Es handelte sich hier um ein Gericht der Tageskarte. Wenn die Tapas genau so gut sind, wie die Asopado, lohnt sich ein Besuch dieses Restaurants sehr. Zum Ambiente kann ich nichts sagen, habe draußen gesessen.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Familiäre Atmosphäre. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Alle sehr nett.

Also ich kann dieses kleine süße Restaurant nur empfehlen! Man bekommt wirklich richtige Tapas und spanische Speisen, welche auch wirklich nach Urlaub schmecken! Der Service ist Klasse! Super freundlich, sehr aufmerksam und die gute Laune vom Personal steckt wirklich an! Kann ich wirklich jedem nur empfehlen!!!

Nachtrag: Es ist immer noch mein liebster Laden in der Altstadt in Steinheim. Dani und ihr super liebes Team machen einfach einen tollen Job. Das Essen ist frisch und lecker. Probiert unbedingt die Aioli…OMG zum reinlegen Nach vielen Betreiberwechseln und Reinfällen sind wir absolut positiv überrascht was Dani und Ihre Mama hier zaubern. Das Essen ist top und sowas von lecker! Dani ist ein absoluter Schatz und fleißig ohne Ende. Wir sind begeistert und freuen uns Euch als gastronomische Nachbarn zu haben! Urige kleine Gastestätte mit sehr herzlichem Personal und einer tollen Küche. Die Karte bietet eine gute Auswahl und bisher hat auch alles geschmeckt. Hier stimmt Preis/Leistung und wir kommen immer gerne wieder.

Muy bien Servicio, Ambiente Familiar y un gusto al paladar

Der beste Spanier, mit tollem Essen und sehr freundlicher Bedienung. Es ist ein Familiengeschäft und das merkt man an allen Enden. Es wird mir viel Herz gekocht und auch um den Gast gekümmert. Die Einrichtung ist rustikal, ich finde es passend.

Eine authentische Spanische Küche. Ein Familienbetrieb, der mit viel Liebe von Mutter und Tochter geführt wird. Die Tochter macht den Service und ist eine soooo zutiefst liebenwürdige junge Frau und die Mama Kocht einfach toll. Das Essen ist einfach lecker, die Portionen reichlich und die Preise bodenständig. Kurzum, auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Wir werden Stammgäste, so viel ist sicher!!! Ps. Man sollte am Wochenende vorher telefonisch Reservieren!

Ein sehr tolles Restaurant die Besitzerin ist echt Klasse und sehr nett das Essen ist super und der Sangria sehr gut

Wir haben dieses familiär geführte, authentische Lokal bei einer Fahrradtour durch Zufall gefunden. Eins steht fest dort waren wir nicht das letzte Mal. Die Küche absolut authentische Spanische Küche zu fairen Preisen. Die Wirtsleute sind Spanier und kommunizieren auch gerne in dieser Sprache. Gerne werden einem unbekannte Speisen erläutert und empfohlen. Die Wartezeit und der Geschmack des Essens ist absolut positiv,. Wir werden bestimmt noch vieles dort demnächst probieren. Bitte macht weiter so, nicht hoch gestochen und nah am Gast.

Wir waren zu dritt (plus Milo, dem seltsamen Hund) im El Sol, war sozusagen ein Zufallsfund - in jedem Fall war es die Reise wert! Die Tapas waren super lecker, und der Service ist wirklich außergewöhnlich freundlich. Eine gute Gelegenheit um unser Spanisch aufzupolieren, außerdem müssen wir noch den Rest der Karte probieren... Wir kommen gerne bald wieder! 😊
