I ate here on a friend's highly positive recommendation, and the dishes are truly amazing. The skewers are incredibly delicious and juicy. If you take full advantage of everything the restaurant offers (hot sauce, sumac, butter, bread, etc.) and take your time to plate everything nicely, you'll have a truly fantastic meal that will satisfy even a big eater. The highlight was definitely the hot sauce, which really packs a punch and isn't just a mild chili flavor like most Arab hot sauces. The homemade ayran with mint perfectly rounded off the meal. Another positive impression is the many families eating together here; it shows a certain authenticity and isn't just trendy food.

This has been my favorite place to meet up with friends for years. I highly recommend it; everything is perfect as always.

I'll write this review in Indonesian. Elreda serves a Lebanese specialty, kubideh. It consists of rice and a kind of sausage (but not a sausage) made from lamb. I don't like goat or lamb, but here, I can eat it. The food is served with a very complete and fresh side dish. Because of its Lebanese cuisine, Elreda is one of the halal restaurant options in Berlin. There's also a halal restaurant next door, City Chicken, which is also a good alternative.

The food, especially the shawarma, is unique. Whenever we're in Berlin, we always go to El Reda for this shawarma – it's addictive. As for the ambiance – it's a fast-food restaurant – don't expect too much. Plenty of space for guests and free tea.

It's just a very busy self-service snack bar. The ambiance isn't particularly charming. In the summer, you can sit outside in the relatively large, covered area. But the dishes on offer are simply fantastic! I once again had this fantastic, perfectly cooked, juicy grilled salmon skewer with wonderful herb rice. The lamb, chicken, and minced meat skewers are always juicy and tasty. The portions are good. Very reasonable value for money! Highly recommended!

We've eaten at the restaurant, but we've also had takeout. Both options work great. In a restaurant, you also have to order at the counter and bring it to your table yourself. Not quite my thing, but not a no-go either. The food is worth the effort. The chicken skewer and the shawarma are particularly good. So is the thum (garlic cream). You can also order something different from the menu upon request.

A nice restaurant. We got a place further back where it was pleasantly quiet. When the weather is nice you also have the option to sit outside. The order went very quickly and the employee was friendly. We didn't have to wait long for the food. The food was delicious. Definitely not the last time here.

If I'm not mistaken, there are many variations of Lebanese dishes, mostly grilled. The meat is tender and tasty, and there is free tea to take with you.

Very special. There are mainly Persian, Arab, Pakistani, etc. men and their families who eat typical local food. It just tastes like back home. Traditional cuisine. Similar to a better canteen. 3/10p Unfortunately, a disappointing visit. My kofte plate consisted almost entirely of rice, and the meat was dry and unloved. The prices are quite inflated. The staff were also unfriendly when I asked for sauces. Overall, a disappointment; I won't be coming back. If you want Arabic food, I'd rather go to Sonnenallee or Wedding.

It’s great shawarma what more do you need

We paid €80 for grilled food and were massively disappointed. The lamb was of poor quality, tough and barely edible. The rice was served cold and was completely drowned in butter. I seriously wonder how this restaurant gets such good reviews. For us it was a complete failure — absolutely not recommended!

Great Arabic brunch and great prices

To feel Arabic cuisine in Berlin, place to be and actually a tradition. So many generations can talk about the store. Very tasty and always tastes the same.

Well, I've been eating there for years, I can understand that the prices are rising and rising, but then please don't cut corners in the wrong places (unfortunately there is no olive oil in the hot sauce) the skewers have become smaller, just like the rice portion... the skewers still taste very good. However, at these prices I expect that I will get the food to the table from the service staff like in a restaurant.

I have been a repeat customer because they serve good food. However, yesterday was my last visit. You are spoiled for choice in this neighborhood, so don’t be silly like I was—this place offers nothing special. I invited my friends to dinner, and since I was paying for the whole group and wasn’t sure what everyone ordered, I misunderstood "sechs-und-vierzig Euro" as 64 and gave them 70€. They didn’t correct me, barely thanked me, and simply kept the money. Yes, I made a mistake, but they had the chance to be honest and chose not to be. Their short-sighted greed has cost them my trust—and three loyal customers.

One of my favorite restaurants in Berlin, is a must when I visit Berlin. My favorite menu is fish (salmon) and don't forget with lots of homemade chili sauce (only available in El Reda).

My Persian heart boils every time I eat there. Really delicious, the employees are polite and you don't have to wait long. A bit crowded, but you can see that many people share my opinion ;)

I know that many people like the place and in fact the meat dishes are generally okay, but I think that they have been exaggerating recently with the price increase and I think that they have bought rice in large quantities because The rice has been tasting like mold a lot lately.

I've known the shop since it started as a snack bar. I fell in love with him from the start and love him all over again.

The grilled sandwich was very bad, the bread was old and overcooked, the kebab was not of a good quality, and the toumiya taste was very bad. An experience that will never be repeated.

Self service , on ordering you get a small beeping machine , collect your order from the counter when it beeps. For us the waiting time was around 30 mins for just two dishes. There is provision for free flowing tea with sugar/sugar substitute that you can get while waiting. We ordered Kubideh(2x , minced meat) with Djujeh(single, chicken) . The rice came in enormous portion . The meat was well done , i liked the kubideh. The chicken was slightly ok the dryer side. I read in some review that one can ask for sesame sauce if they feel the buttered rice was dry to eat. The food came with a plate of salad which consisted of non seasoned greens with chillies and onion. There is usually a red chilli pickle on the table to adjust the heat. My rating stands at 3.5/5 for food The staff at the counter do not understand English.

We had Kubiden (minced lamb skewer with rice and salad). The rice was covered with yellow saffron sauce and tasted excellent with the accompanying butter. The lamb was cooked to perfection and harmonized perfectly with the rice. The staff also speaks German and you will receive nice and friendly advice. Due to the good reputation and quick turnaround, all food is freshly prepared and made available for consumption through self-service. There is a small deduction. Because card payments are not yet possible. A lovely evening with a good Iranian meal. Thanks.

No hygienic precautions... the salad from the previous customer is simply presented to the next customer. Also very expensive and unfriendly as long as you are not a countryman!

The food was ok compared to 2023, but unfortunately they have deteriorated a lot... I used to always eat the same thing for 13 euros, now it costs 19.50 to 3 euros. I think a price increase is ok, but it can't be that it's suddenly 6. Costs 50 euros more.

My favorite dish is shawarma on a plate with rice. Very tasty and filling!! Before this I never ate shawarma, I didn't like it 🙈 But now I've changed my mind. I'm also very happy with the free tea.

I was honestly disappointed with the food at this restaurant. Unlike the 4.5 stars on Google Maps, the food was totally average and even below average in some cases. Given the high rating, I had much higher expectations. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to them. It’s hard to understand why it has such a high rating.
