Gyros were way too crumbly and not tasty for us. Coleslaw not homemade. It's a shame, it's much tastier in vilkerath.

The food at El Greco has always been satisfactory, but the service has not. Unfortunately, I often had the experience of being annoyed and treated rudely when I ordered in advance by telephone. When you order on site, the employees are always polite and nice but not really motivated or anything like that... The food is okay as described, but unfortunately it's not great, especially when you compare it with the price. For the price I can get the best quality and freshness, as well as something more appealing in taste, elsewhere.

I can't understand the negative reviews. I'm just sitting here eating. Yes, there was a change of operator, but I think everything is great. It's clean, tidy, somewhat renovated and I really like the food. The meat is significantly better than its predecessor.

The food was really good and we didn't have to wait long. In addition, the owners and people were very nice and understanding. I can only recommend it. Try it.

We ordered a gyro plate here again. I'm wondering, was there a change of operator? The faces in the company are different, that's not a bad thing per se, but the gyros, which were really great here, are now inedible there (!). You have to look for real pieces, like the ones you used to hear from this El Greco, it's all hard and dry. This is a real shame and has unfortunately lost me as a regular customer. I won't eat gyros there again.

Disappointing. 11.90€ small portion and meat is ice cold. If I had known that, I would have gotten a pita for 9 euros

I've lived in the area for years and recommended this gyro to friends and acquaintances as the best there is anywhere. Was in the region today and was looking forward to my gyros all day, what a shame. The shop has had a little make over and looks clean and well maintained, we ate there, it was a bit cold and my wife left her jacket on. Ordered 2x Gyros Pita and a small fries with mayo to share. I've never removed meat from my meal but it was the worst gyro I've eaten in my life (meat was grilled so dry that it had sharp edges and it had an unpleasant aftertaste + not seasoned as usual) The fries were mine only bright spot to get full. At the end we pointed out that unfortunately we didn't like the meat and weren't very satisfied. Answer: unfortunately there was the rest of the meat on the skewer. As suspected, the lady behind the counter confirmed to us that there had been a change of ownership under the same name. It is now clear to us that we were both disappointed.

We are always amazed by the quality of the dishes. Price-performance ratio is okay. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I can only recommend it... PS... the coleslaw is great

I was back today after a long time, very nicely remodeled, everything was clean and the connection to the café was also very nice. Now for the negative… - Gyros tzatziki fries and onions were ordered. I actually added some farmer's lettuce, but it was totally dry and didn't look good. Very small portion for the price and there were no onions on it either. Then we ordered macaroni with gyros and asked if it could be gratinated with cheese. Yes No problem …. In the end it wasn't gratinated with cheese but only had 3 crumbs of feta in it. It wasn't macaroni either. There were four of us sitting behind the counter in the café, probably one who had been waiting for pizza for a while. At some point a waiter asked what was going on with the pizza and the guest was hungry. Then the waitress said “yes, I'm hungry too” when the pizza was ready it was given back because the guest wanted without onions and there were onions on it. The gyro was delicious but I won't go there again.

Nice snack bar with a good selection. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and the portion was large, so the price was right.

When I left the store with three gyro plates, I wondered why the carrying bag was so light. The portion size is a joke. No one was fed up with three people. I'm disappointed and annoyed that I spent almost €40. Nobody will see me there again.

So if you order a large portion of gyros with fries, in Greek it's probably the children's menu. Majo is only available after you ask for it a second time and for the price you should actually leave the shop full.....the food itself is tasty But the portion just makes you feel even more hungry afterwards, but at least you pay for a large portion. Was my last visit here

I was eating at El Greco today and ordered a portion of gyros with fries and I'm really disappointed to say that for the price you only get children's portions! Even if it's delicious there, I can't come in hungry and leave hungry, especially since El Greco has raised the prices quite a bit! It's just a disgrace!!

Landed here while looking for a Greek restaurant. I was skeptical at first, but the excellent cuisine and friendly service convinced me

People smoke in the closed winter garden directly in the next room, even though the ice cream parlor is served there - everything goes into the dining room. Really disgusting and not allowed.

I've been going to El Greco for years. The food there is simply delicious. The gyros in particular are the best in the area and I have tried A LOT of Greek ones. The waitresses are always polite and it is always very clean and hygienic! The ambience there is great. Beautiful murals and chic tables and chairs.

I got a gyros with rice and an onion schnitzel with fries. The gyro was like charcoal so much that my crown broke off. The rice was unsalted and lukewarm. My wife threw the schnitzel in the trash can because it was inedible. The price of the schnitzel was €14.50 The store used to be better.

The furnishings are rather simple, but the food was very tasty.

We were there for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. Juicy gyros, delicious salad dressing, tzatziki was also great. The icing on the cake for us were the herbs that were sprinkled over the gyros. We ate on site and it was nicely presented on the plate. Very friendly staff! All clean! The best gyros we have eaten in years. We'll definitely come back when we're back on the track.😍

Definitely bad meat (bad smell and taste). Reacted directly with nausea. Unfortunately, delicious gyros were no longer available before the conversion. Quality has been very good, never again. Old, bad-smelling meat is now on the spit.

Wenn man nach einigen Erledigungen Mittags unterwegs Hunger bekommt.....und dann zufällig dort in Untereschbach den Imbiss El Greco entdeckt. Einfach lecker dieses Gyros. Kross und lecker gewürzt. Freundliche Bedienung, werde bestimmt mal wieder vorbeischauen.

Wir bestellen da nur Gyros und beim letzten Mal gab es eine Pizza. Ich finde das Gyros da sehr lecker. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. Die Mitarbeiter sind auch sehr nett.

Sehr leckeres Essen, sehr freundliches Personal. Das Gyros Fleisch war knusprig, sehr lecker gewürzt und nicht fettig. Zum Gyros komplett gab es einen kleinen, nett angerichteten und leckeren Salat anstatt des üblicherweise zum Gyros Komplett servieren Weißkrautsalat. Eine sehr willkommene und leckere Alternative. Volle Empfehlung für das El Greco von meiner Seite 😊

Fast food Restaurant. Gyros und Pommes waren lecker, der Fleischspieß leider total trocken. Die Köfte haben mir geschmeckt. Sie waren ursprünglich gefroren und würden gut gebraten serviert. Der gemischte Salat hatte wohl schon länger um Kühlschrank gestanden und die Scheibe Tomate auf meinem Teller war sogar vergoren. Das darf nicht passieren,! Für den Löffel Tzatziki muss man extra zahlen! Das Lokal selbst war sehr sauber. Die Preise sind günstig.

Essen gut , Service gut und Ambiente etwas nüchtern. Ausserdem hatte man das Gefühl man sitzt im Windkanal.

Heute Gyrostelller zu mitnehmen dort geholt - war alles super, Fleisch, Pommes, Salat. Das ist eine Frittenbude der gehobenen Sorte, man kann auch dort sitzen und essen. Alles sauber und aufgeräumt, Personal freundlich, Preise ok. Da gehe ich gerne nochmal hin.

Wirklich leckeres Essen und ordentliche Portionen! Man kann sehr gemütlich vor Ort essen oder auch zum Mitnehmen bestellen. Aufjedenfall eine leckere Empfehlung :)

War heute um 14.30 bei euch das Gyros total verbrannt mit Zwiebeln und doppelt zasiki der Angestellte wurde sehr un höflich wie ich es zurück brachte hat mir sogar für die neue Portion 2€ ap geknöpft das ist unverschämt frühwr war immer alles top aber jetzt nicht mehr schade.

Meiner Meinung nach hat die Fleischqualität beim Gyros stark nachgelassen, sehr hoher Fett/Wabbelanteil. Ansonsten ist es lecker, auch die Pommes ,der Salat und der Zaziki sind gut. Bitte wieder besseres Fleisch einkaufen, denn 11,90€ sind dafür zuviel.

Nette Bedienung. Das Gyros war leider etwas trocken, hat aber trotzdem gut geschmeckt.

Wie holen uns hier regelmäßig leckeres Gyros. Mein Favorit ist Gyros überbacken. Das Beste in der Gegend hier! Die Pommes sind leider nicht so dolle, auch die Salate sind eher unterer Durchschnitt, daher ein Stern Abzug. Insgesamt dennoch meine Empfehlung weil aufs Gyros kommt es an 😉

Toller und ehrlicher Gyrosteller, mit frischem Salat. Das Zaziki muss genau so schmecken und auch sonst gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Toll ist der kleine Terassenhof, den sich Gyrosbude und Café teilen. So gibt es den Nachtisch gleich von der anderen Seite :-)

Wir gehen immer in diese Eisdiele. Die ist erste Sahne. Wir haben in Lindlar 2 Eisdielen. Aber Untereschbach ist viel besser.

Ein nettes Team,welches sich sehr viel Mühe macht, einem ein gutes Essen zur Verfügung zu stellen. Sie haben obwohl sie selber vom Hochwasser betroffen waren, sehr viel für andere betroffene Menschen und Helfer getan! Diese nette Geste hat vielen erschöpften Helfern und Betroffenen geholfen, durchzuhalten. HUT AB!

Ab und an habe ich Lust auf Gyros Pita. Dann ist El Greco das Restaurant meiner Wahl.

Ich habe noch nie eine so große Gyros-Pita gesehen - Preis /Leistung überragend - bald wieder ;p
