El Greco in Rottweil

We came across it by chance and have to say we haven't eaten Greek food this deliciously in a long time. The staff was very friendly and even though the restaurant was full, the food came quickly.

Been here today for a long time. Food is good, portions are decent and the price is a bit more expensive. But still acceptable for today's standards Update 11/24 everything is still fine. Service very attentive and quick.

It's small though. But extremely tasty. People also very nice. Everything was fine. Always my pleasure .

Good Greek restaurant with friendly service

not as cool as before!!!! Where has your enthusiasm gone? no more joy on the faces, just rip-offs, no warm greetings, no farewells like before (ouzo or otherwise, that's still very cool with the competition). Became more expensive, cannot be compared with inflation. I now call it a rip-off and will no longer visit this restaurant with my family. I will also inform my friends accordingly. Dear El Greco team. NOT SO!!! You were so horny. Please make this possible again..................

To the service. The waitresses were nice, but it just can't be that drinks are only taken after 20-30 minutes. The shop wasn't full at the time, there were only 3 other tables in the restaurant with us. Furthermore, we all had empty our glasses at some point and would certainly have ordered something to drink again, but unfortunately the conditions were very inattentive and we didn't even come to the table and ask if everything was okay, if we could have something else. This is unprofessional and uneconomical for the restaurant. Good service works differently. Nonetheless, conditions were friendly. I think there is just a lack of competence. The food: I had baked calamari with an appetizer salad. The starter salad was unspectacular. No concept, nothing special. It's just some vegetables and iceberg lettuce with a usual dressing... The calamari had tomato rice, patates and tzatziki as a side dish. Unfortunately, when I looked at the menu, I noticed that NOTHING could be fresh given the amount of dishes on offer... The patates weren't bad, but you can't go wrong with fried potatoes... The calamari is just that It didn't taste fresh either, I've often eaten fresh food and unfortunately I didn't like it here at all. Way too over-seasoned. The shrimp that I was allowed to try were also tasteless and didn't have a nice, fresh color... Food not good in my opinion. Ambience: Menu completely dirty, this also needs to be looked through and cleaned or replaced every now and then... Cutlery was sticky and in others the fresh cutlery was unfortunately still dirty which is simply a no go... Personally, I don't think the decor is nice : e.g. black and white pictures of prominent personalities on the wall with a “gold frame”. I personally don't like it. It's better to look for restaurants with a manageable, smaller menu where the dishes don't have a number in front of them... Then you can't go wrong. Addendum: Sleepless night with stomach pain from eating.

If you want to eat Greek, you're in good hands here. I don't think the price/performance level is balanced. Romano

Nice restaurant with decent Greek cuisine. Very friendly and quick service. You used to be able to buy very good olive oil, but unfortunately it's no longer available.

As always, extremely tasty and very friendly service. I would always recommend reservation.

Ambiance?? Not 100% Greek... But it fits 👍 A little more meat in the dishes (French fries etc. as a side dish) and the 5 stars are assured. Things will definitely get better on the 4th visit 😉😉

If I could give 0 stars I would even give minus stars!!! Bad loading, please do me a favor and don't do this to yourself! We chose the restaurant for my nephew's baptism. We stood in front of the restaurant with 30 people and it wasn't opened to us!!!!!!! In the restaurant someone was standing behind the counter and after knocking on the window they just looked you in the face and the waiter or whoever it was just went into the kitchen... Nobody picks up the phone... Absolutely load juice Please don't do this to yourself!!!!!!!!!! Terrible, this store should close!!

Very disappointed! We had made reservations for 25 people and were faced with a locked door! Nobody opened the door or answered the phone and we knew nothing. The only sign on the door was “Closed due to staff shortage.” Accordingly, we won't come again.

Unfortunately there are no stars, maybe even deductions for everything. We had planned for June 23rd. reserved for a celebration and stand in front of closed doors. "Closed due to lack of staff". We are all human, it can happen sometimes, so please call and let us know. We wanted to celebrate the baptism of our grandchildren with the family. The parents were of course shocked, everyone is there, but the place is dark and there is no response. Something like that is bottom drawer.

This restaurant doesn't actually deserve a star. I thought that something like that wasn't possible. Today there were 25 people standing in front of this restaurant and it was closed... Although we have reserved a baptism party in this restaurant today. You should be ashamed of yourself, you ruined a beautiful baptism for two small children!!!! At this point a big thank you to the team at Dionysos Traube Rottweil, they made it possible for us to have a great spontaneous celebration! El Greco you are unprofessional!!! You could have at least called ahead...

Everything is really delicious and individual wishes are also fulfilled. The food is definitely worth the price and we would love to come back. Then I'll take photos too 😊

I've eaten here several times with the family, the food is freshly prepared, sufficient and incredibly tasty. The staff is friendly and courteous. The restaurant is clean, I can highly recommend it.

Wer gerne griechisches Essen mag ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Im Wohnzimmerambiente wird man freundlich bedient und die Gerichte sind einfach köstlich!

We reserved for three people, things went smoothly, nice, tasteful interior. Very attentive service, the food was fresh and very tasty. The menu is clear and has a larger selection for vegetarians. Price-performance ratio is great, for three people with starters and drinks we paid just under €80, absolutely top, I can only recommend it 👍 With the bill there was an ouzo on the house, very old school, as it should be, we will definitely come back.

Portions could be larger for the price. Food OK. Service friendly.

Essen Atmosphäre waren gut zu Beginn gab’s eine kleine Vorspeise sowie ein Ouzo am Schluss. Für uns wurde extra die Kerze angezündet.

When you say Greece. U say El Greco Ordered: Metaxa, red wine, Giros and Lamb ribs. It was A M A Z I N G ! Everything is in the right cooking size. Large meals. High quality And first of all : quick!!! Thanks for great experience!!!

Restaurant mit griechischen Speisen in Rottweil... Sind als Firma dort gewesen... Bedienung soweit freundlich gewesen... Was ich als schade empfand, das die Speisen nicht zur gleichen Zeit kamen... Sondern einige schon fast fertig waren, als der letzte seins hatte... Das Essen selbst, empfand ich als Durchschnitt... Persönlich gesehen, war mal dort gewesen...

Gutes und solides griechisches Restaurant. Wir waren in einer größeren Gruppe mit Vorbestellung da, es hat alles geklappt.

Sehr leckeres Essen, wir hatten Gyros und Lammkottlettes. Das Zaziki war genau richtig gewürzt. Das Fleisch war optimal gegart. Und der Service war erstklassig.

Eines der besten griechischen Restaurants die ich kenne. Hier ist alles top, die Speisen, Bedienung und Preis Leistung Verhältnis.

Gyros in Metaxa-Sauce war reichlich und sehr lecker. Der Service war super freundlich undflott, obwohl es sehr voll war. Das Ambiente ist wirklich ansprechend, vielen Dank.

Zum ersten Mal hier beim Essen gewesen, und er gehört jetzt mit Abstand zu den besten Griechen bei denen ich je wahr. Geschmacklich sehr sehr gut und Service war auch top. Nur der Preis ist einwenig höher was bei den Portionen aber auch irgendwo gerechtfertigt ist. Aber im großen und ganzen wirklich Top!!

Wir waren an einem Samstag hier und das Essen war sehr sehr Gut. Die Auswahl und Qualität der griechischen Küche hier ist sehr gut. Wir hatten diverse Platten mit Fleisch und Fisch und es war nichts dabei was nicht sehr gut war. Ebenso ist das Ambiente sehr schön griechisch eingerichtet. Der Service war schnell und sehr freundlich. Wir freuen uns auf unseren nächsten Besuch.

Ein nettes und gemütliches kleines Lokal. Wir hatten dort unseren veganen Stammtisch. Es ist toll das hier vegane Gerichte angeboten werden🌱. Das Essen hat gut geschmeckt und ich bin pappsatt geworden. auch wenn mir persönlich, geschmacklich der gewisse "Pfiff" gefehlt hat. Ich kann es trotzdem weiter empfehlen 🙂. Der Service dort war außerdem sehr freundlich, trotz vollem Haus. Großes Lob.

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 12 Leuten zum Essen. Wir haben uns durch die ganze Speisekarte durch gearbeitet von Fleisch, Vegetarisch sowie Fischgerichte.Wir waren begeistert für soviel Personen schnell, Service freundlich und das Ambiente des Restaurants einfach wunderschön . Had er meer van verwacht, is niet een echt Grieks restaurant. Bestelden Moussaka voor 2, blijkt dat ze er maar voor 1 persoon meer hadden, en ook niet lekker klaargemaakt. Zou hier zeker niet meer terug gaan. Beoordelingen te hoog.

Beim Heimfahren zufällig entdeckt. Sehr nettes Personal. Auch mit Nahrungsmittelunverträglichleiten kein Problem: Gerichte werden einfach angepasst. Mit dem obligatorischen Ouzo oder Metaxa als Digestiv. Top location.
