We were in the area on vacation for a few days. We found this restaurant via Google. A quick, easy reservation. A friendly, relaxed welcome, and we were seated at the table. A quick look at the well-organized menu meant we both quickly found something to eat. Garlic bread with tomatoes was the starter...simply delicious. In the meantime, the obligatory ouzo. For the main course, we had gyros. Nice and juicy with tzatziki and tomato rice. The service was very good; my wife had hazelnut liqueur and I had an espresso on the house. We really liked the restaurant and decided to eat there again two days later. The process was just as straightforward as the first time. This time we also had pistachio and lime liqueur to try. The friendliness of the staff and the relaxed, casual atmosphere, despite the full house, really deserves special mention. Big praise goes to the boss and her team.

I'd especially like to highlight the service: super friendly, attentive, and yet pleasantly unobtrusive. That's exactly what you'd expect from a restaurant visit! For me, this is one of the best restaurants in Hannoversch Münden – I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it to everyone. 👌

Even though the restaurant was busy, everything was well organized.

I was pleasantly surprised by the food: a great, fresh little salad for the starter (not canned salad). A very large portion of excellent meat and tasty side dishes. Special mention goes to the two girls who serve very attentively and with a great sense of perspective, yet still have time for a quick chat with the guests. Keep up the good work.

Service was excellent and nice, the 3-person platter could have been a little larger in terms of side dishes, but the ouzo was tasty, we come here every year before the Weser marathon, it's worth making a reservation this weekend.

We were on a short vacation in Hann Münden and this restaurant was recommended to us on our boat trip. I don't even know how to put into words what we experienced there. Starting with the warm welcome, the great service and the delicious food, there are only positive things to report. Rarely experienced something like this. Simply great! But what impressed us most was the warm intervention when my sister-in-law wasn't feeling well (due to circulation problems). Here we were immediately given a damp cloth that she could place on her forehead. When things didn't get better, the nice lady took my sister-in-law into a side room and looked after her lovingly (the rest of us were somehow overwhelmed by the situation 🙈) and blankets were brought to support her head. Everything was so well organized that hardly anyone noticed what was happening. This made my sister-in-law a bit uncomfortable, which is understandable. A big, heartfelt THANK YOU ❤️ you are a great team.

We have tried all 3 Greek restaurants in HMu over time. El Greco is clearly in first place. Everything is great, fresh and homemade. Insider tip: Ask for the Greek 'gigantes' beans that aren't on the menu! Pure enjoyment!!!
