I visited El Greco in Hannoversch Münden and was absolutely thrilled! The ambiance is very cozy and inviting – you immediately feel at home. The menu is varied and offers something for every taste, from classic gyros to amazing meat platters. Everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and lovingly presented. I'd especially like to highlight the service: super friendly, attentive, and yet pleasantly unobtrusive. That's exactly what you'd expect from a restaurant visit! For me, this is one of the best restaurants in Hannoversch Münden – I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it to everyone. 👌

Good food at pleasingly reasonable prices. The portions were generous and the food was delicious (gyros in Metaxa sauce topped with cheese). For starters, the five of us chose a variety of dishes. The drinks were also reasonably priced. The service was good; we were served promptly, the drinks arrived quickly, and we didn't have to wait long for the food either. Even though the restaurant was busy, everything was well organized.

A friend brought me a belated birthday muffin for dinner at El Greco. Nina took it and conjured up the dessert in the photo. I love that about you guys; you're creative, spontaneous, flexible, and totally attuned to your guests. Thank you!!!!! 😍

I was pleasantly surprised by the food: a great, fresh little salad for the starter (not canned salad). A very large portion of excellent meat and tasty side dishes. Special mention goes to the two girls who serve very attentively and with a great sense of perspective, yet still have time for a quick chat with the guests. Keep up the good work.

Service was excellent and nice, the 3-person platter could have been a little larger in terms of side dishes, but the ouzo was tasty, we come here every year before the Weser marathon, it's worth making a reservation this weekend.

On the way through, with hunger in our stomachs, we stopped there. Despite being busy, we sat at the counter, ordered takeaway and got drinks. There was also time for a chat with the staff. Later, we enjoyed the food at home. Conclusion: Friendliness, openness, top service - absolutely recommended. Wanted to come back afterwards to eat there. This happened this Saturday. Well, what can I say...My first impression was not disappointed...Conclusion: Enjoyed another great evening there. Any time.

We were on a short vacation in Hann Münden and this restaurant was recommended to us on our boat trip. I don't even know how to put into words what we experienced there. Starting with the warm welcome, the great service and the delicious food, there are only positive things to report. Rarely experienced something like this. Simply great! But what impressed us most was the warm intervention when my sister-in-law wasn't feeling well (due to circulation problems). Here we were immediately given a damp cloth that she could place on her forehead. When things didn't get better, the nice lady took my sister-in-law into a side room and looked after her lovingly (the rest of us were somehow overwhelmed by the situation 🙈) and blankets were brought to support her head. Everything was so well organized that hardly anyone noticed what was happening. This made my sister-in-law a bit uncomfortable, which is understandable. A big, heartfelt THANK YOU ❤️ you are a great team.

Super nice staff in a nice restaurant. With very tasty food, fresh and homemade. You can spend lovely evenings here. We particularly recommend the chicken soup or the grilled pepperoni as a starter. The fish platter is unbeatable. My favorite restaurant.

We have tried all 3 Greek restaurants in HMu over time. El Greco is clearly in first place. Everything is great, fresh and homemade. Insider tip: Ask for the Greek 'gigantes' beans that aren't on the menu! Pure enjoyment!!!

Simply perfect! We stayed here on the recommendation of our holiday apartment landlord. Even though we were only there for 4 days, we ate here twice. It was super tasty, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere was great too. Full marks and absolute recommendation! It doesn't get any better! We were there for the second time today. After a long search in the region, we have now found our new Greek. The food was once again very tasty and plentiful, and all the waitresses were extremely friendly and attentive. We'll be back, promise!!! A clear recommendation.

There are always very nice conversations and the food is simply fantastic. We visited El Greco for the first time and discovered that there are much better restaurants in the area, what a shame! Unfortunately, the meat was very fatty and some of the fries weren't cooked through even though we had to wait a long time (about 40 minutes) for the main course! No card payment possible...

Our first visit absolutely met our expectations. Our vegetarian family member was also completely satisfied.

The staff is very friendly. Food was ok. The salad for the starter was really tasty. Unfortunately we found it too cold in the rooms.

Als Vorspeise kam Saganiaki auf den Tisch: Weich, cremig, lecker. Und warum geht man zum Griechen? Gyros! Neben einer sehr „ordentlichen“ Portion, nebst Tzatziki, Krautsalat und Reis/ Pommes/ etc. konnte das Essen in Sachen Qualität vollends überzeugen.Das Fleisch war sehr schmackhaft, saftig aber auch mager. Das Essen kam, auch wenn es im Lokal sehr voll war, zeitig auf den Tisch. Herausragend war der Service: Sehr zuvorkommend, immer an der richtigen Stelle fragend, kurzum: Vorbildlich! Und klar, einen Ouzo auf’s Haus gab es auch noch. Und gerne noch einen zweiten… Insgesamt eine Empfehlung.

Even though there was a registered party of 30 people in the hall, the service in the restaurant was excellent and we didn't miss anything. The menu was super tasty and hot. There were also fresh drinks. All in all....perfect. Thumbs up and an A+ with an asterisk. We will be back and wish the family all the best and a full house and good business.

We were absolutely thrilled. As soon as we entered the restaurant, our children were immediately given coloring books. The service was extremely attentive and quick. What was particularly great was that the children got their food first. The food was not only delicious, but also plentiful! At the end we had an espresso and we all went home completely satisfied. Actually a Greek restaurant (and one in general...) where there is nothing, absolutely nothing, to complain about! 👏 The food we were able to enjoy was fresh and perfectly prepared. The portions were plentiful but fortunately not oversized like some of our competitors. (You're welcome to have the rest packed up, which unfortunately doesn't taste good when you get home anyway...) Here you can treat yourself to one of the delicious starters without feeling overcrowded! Even the house wine was really okay. The ladies in service were absolutely friendly, extremely personable, but not pushy. The ambience appears more refined than classic-rustic. When I entered the restaurant, my partner's first words were: "This is a girls' shop..."; true... colors; Decorations and details - such as felt coasters instead of beer mats - have their effect. As a pleasant surprise, we noted the "intermediate destroyer" next to the welcome ouzo after the starter....😀 The fact that we rated the bill as extremely positive in terms of price-performance ratio rounded off the visit perfectly and definitely legitimized the journey from Kassel. Conclusion: new favorite Greek!!!👌

We were completely impressed by the El Greco restaurant! The selection of Greek dishes is impressive. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious and authentic. The starter platter “Mezedaki” and the “Artemis platter” are particularly recommended. The portions are generous and the price-performance ratio is perfect. The restaurant also offers excellent wine. Rose wine is particularly recommended here. The service was attentive, friendly and very accommodating - you immediately feel welcome. The cozy ambience and warm atmosphere round off the visit perfectly. Whether inside or outside on the terrace, the restaurant offers a place where you feel comfortable and enjoy staying longer. We will definitely be back and can highly recommend El Greco to everyone!

Simply great! Part of the culture is retained here. When it comes to food and ambience, El Greco is simply top notch and really recommended! And if that wasn't enough, the staff with their charisma and friendliness always puts a smile on my face and that of my family!
