Eisdiele Pizzeria Café CAPPUCCINI in Vilshofen an der Donau

Many thanks to the entire Cappuccini team for a great evening. Food, service, ambience - as always everything was perfect.

For me the best ice cream in Vilshofen. The pizzas and salads are also great. I really like the murals redesigned in 2022. For the 2023 season, the toilets were completely rebuilt and redesigned, which was really successful. The new toilets are a sight in themselves. Even in 2024, Cappuccini is still my favorite ice cream shop!

It's too bad I'm not from Vilshofen. It would definitely be my favorite place! Very good pizza, and great service.

A very good ice cream parlor. But primarily we go there for the pizzas, they are excellent. We are happy to accept a slightly longer journey. It's especially nice there in the summer months when you can sit outside. Inside, the ambience isn't that special... a typical ice cream parlor.

Diese Pizza ist der Hammer! Wir sind nur zufällig beim Vorbeischlendern in das Lokal gestolpert - und waren völlig von den Socken! Wir haben bald wieder einen Termin in Vilshofen und dann steht das Essen in dieser Pizzeria fix auf unserem Tagesplan!

I discovered this pizzeria by chance while traveling through with my family as a cyclist. The service was great, we visited this pizzeria during the lunch rush hour, but the food came very quickly. All of the dishes we chose were highly recommended and delicious. Price performance and ambience great. Best regards the Nurembergs

Incredible, delicious gluten-free pizza! I have had celiac disease for over 14 years and have had to eat a gluten-free diet ever since and I have rarely eaten such good pizza. I have no idea what they do with the dough there, but the pizza looks so good and tastes so delicious that I briefly doubted whether it was really gluten-free. Hammer! Absolute recommendation!

Nicely located, right next to the city tower. Excellent food, sometimes the waiting times are a little longer but that's normal given the crowds.

We were here for lunch today for an ice cream sundae and I say that rightly....it's rare to find something so delicious....a large ice cream menu that also says how many scoops of ice cream there are in the sundae. I wouldn't have been able to finish it soon and that's something because ice cream is my elixir of life....so don't listen to the negative comments but read the menu carefully then nothing can go wrong...as I said, it was super tasty, the service was also very nice and quick...highly recommended ....keep it up...thanks

Hello, this pizzeria in Vilshofen Café Cappuchini is very, very good. I'm always happy when we go there to eat, really tasty.😋

Both sweet and savory dishes are very good and the price performance is also okay. We waited almost 30 minutes until someone came and took our order, unfortunately it was the same when paying, hence the star deduction.

Unfriendly service I've ever had. I was in the restaurant with my wife and our 2 dogs and wanted something to eat. The waitress, a bit older, with long gray hair, was so rude that we just paid for something to drink and got out of there. Never this store again...

So, price performance below all...! Ice cream is delicious... But eggnog cups for over 10.00 euros... 3 mini scoops. Put a teaspoon of eggnog on it... Don't let the pictures fool you... They're mini plastic cups...! 😏 Here in Traunstein am Chiemsee.. For the price you get twice the amount..! Not recommended. Tourist trap... Go to the other one there 🇮🇹 is next to the church... Never again! Thanks for your answer.. Now everyone knows that we are right.. Concerned H... Barking😂 Luckily my wife takes photos of everything. Note the perspective. The spoon. As a former chef, I've never heard such nonsense. And is Milan supposed to screw us over? I already was. If you are so convinced, I know where I can call and YOU are hurting your customers.. The second cup is from Traunstein for the same money.... But don't be so angry.. We won't see each other again anyway. 😉 🙋‍♂️

Yesterday we went to Cappuccini for the first time on a recommendation - mainly because it was supposedly the best Neapolitan pizza in the area. We love Neapolitan pizza and have already tried the best places in Naples, so our expectations were correspondingly high. We received a friendly welcome and the service overall was really very good. The waitress was really super nice and attentive. Unfortunately, we had to wait a long time for our pizza; it took a good 45 minutes from ordering to eating. The pizza definitely looked very tasty, but the edge of the pizza seemed a bit “firm” for a Neapolitan pizza. I know and love Neapolitan pizza especially for its extremely airy, light and thick crust. Unfortunately, this wasn't available here, as you can see in the pictures. Since the pizza was still very tasty and the ingredients were high quality, I would only deduct one star for this. The atmosphere is ok, but not super comfortable. A little nicer and more comfortable seating would be nice, especially outside, and unfortunately the tables weren't that clean either. All in all a good restaurant with very tasty pizza. But my favorite place for Neapolitan pizza is and remains different.

Excellent ice cream sundaes and iced coffee or ice chai. Good prices and super nice and fast staff. At the next table there were wraps that looked excellent and were said to be very tasty.

Truly the BEST PIZZA beyond the Alps

Delicious food on the terrace next to the beautiful gate. We ordered a 'Pizza Wrap', a large wrap of pizza dough filled with delicious vegetables, sauce and deliciously seasoned chicken. A special dish that I have not seen anywhere else. Enjoy a nice Weizen beer on the attractive terrace with friendly service. Top spot!

Nice restaurant, nice people and good ice cream or coffee. Pasta, salads, breakfast and burgers are really good. Prices are ok. ➡️ Recommendation!

Great ice cream parlor near the bike path with the best offer

The ice cream is super tasty, the food at the neighboring tables looked very good and large and smelled very good. We "only" had the ice cream, but the cup was large, very nicely decorated and very tasty. Definitely does justice to the price of just under 10 euros

Were there for a birthday dinner. It was very tasty as always. Carbonara as a starter and then Germany's best pizza and to top it off with delicious ice cream with matcha iced tea. The only thing is that the traffic can sometimes be quite loud if the drivers are moving very fast or loudly.

Delicious ice cream for every taste. Pizza is absolutely brilliant, and it's not for nothing that he's the best pizza master. The service is always cheerful and attentive😊

I paid with a credit card and didn't leave a tip because the service didn't work out (it can happen). But then the cashier asked me to give a tip. The owner now doubts that, but that's exactly how it was! He should therefore train his employees better, because in Germany tipping is a recognition of good service.

They have decent gluten free pizza.

On the Friday that Germany plays against Scotland, we went to Vilshofen. We come directly to this business through the gate. We wanted to have a delicious waffle with cappuccino. After we took a seat we walked past it a few times. I also went in twice to see if I could order and they still didn't come. Then have a cappuccino with waffle somewhere else.

Ich habe schon viele Pizzen gegessen, in Deutschland, wie auch in Italien und eins kann ich sagen : Die Pizzen im Cappuccini sind der Inbegriff einer Napoletanischen Pizza. Napoletanische Pizzen sollten luftig, sanft und !leicht! knusprig sein. Genau das trifft auf die Pizzen von Massimo zu und deswegen hat er den Deutschen Meistertitel absolut verdient! Bei jedem besuch bin ich begeistert von dem leckeren Essen. Für mich die beste Pizza aller Zeiten!

Pizza super.jogersalso a large portion that my husband almost didn't manage to finish! Service was very nice and friendly. Ice cream was also big. It was a nice pizzaria. I was very happy and always happy to be a guest! Only the main street is a bit stupid, but no matter, we like to come. Also the old houses and the city gate with that Glockenspiel right next to it is something very special. All in all, everything is in the very green area. Stay friendly and don't be averse to a little teasing from a certain guest and he is a loyal guest with you!!! All the best and see you soon. Greetings from both of us !!!

Die freudige Erwartung eine "leckere" Pizza vom Deutschen Meister zu essen, wurde leider enttäuscht. Sicherlich ist die Konsistenz eines Pizzateiges auch Geschmackssache. Obwohl der Teig auf den ersten Blick einen sehr guten Eindruck machte, war er eher "gummig" und die Pizza ist in der Mitte völlig abgesoffen. Wer das mag, ist hier richtig. Ich bin nun mal meine original neapolitanische Pizza von unserem neapolitanischen Pizzabäcker zu Hause gewohnt; und was soll ich sagen, hätte ich einen Titel zu vergeben, so hätten Sie diesen sicher nicht bekommen. Bei meiner gewohnten Pizza stimmt einfach alles; das Verhältnis von Belag und Teig, die Kruste und auch die Qualtität der Produkte auf der Pizza (z. B. die Oliven auf Ihrer Pizza waren wirklich mehr als geschmacklos). Hätte ich die Pizza bei einem Lieferservice bestellt, so wäre ich sicher begeistert gewesen, aber von einem Deutschen Meister wäre meiner Meinung nach mehr zu erwarten. Nun, wir habens probiert und bleiben bei der für uns besten Pizza der Welt: bei Stefano in Berchtesgaden.

Pizza is bombastic and tastes very, very delicious, BUT: What's cheeky in my opinion is that the pizza to-go costs +1€ to cut. I could have quickly grabbed a fork and knife outside and quickly cut it myself. Otherwise delicious

Food and drinks were great, service was good and the atmosphere was fine. It's relatively narrow inside and outside you sit directly on the street where the cars rattle by. But you accept the latter for the delicious food and great selection!

Sehr unangenehm heute ,da meine Tochter eine falsche Bestellung bekam. Als ich als ihre Mutter dies angemerkt habe , wurde ich von der Bedienung in eine Diskussion verwickelt vor allen Gästen auf dem Gang und sogar noch vor dem Restaurant, die ich so nicht wollte! Ich habe es auch mehrmals gesagt , dass ich so einen verbalen "Eklat" nicht möchte vor den Leuten , es wurde jedoch ignoriert von der Dame. Fazit: obwohl ich schon Jahrzehnte Gast bin in der Eisdiele und selbstredend auch meine 15 jährige Tochter Fehler gemacht hat( weil sie die falsche Bestellung nicht reklamiert hat und dafür einen teuren Eisbecher zu bezahlen hatte), muss ich sagen : äusserst unprofessionell und negativ, so mit den Gästen umzugehen. Werde dem Lokal wohl einige Zeit fern bleiben!

As absolute pizza fans, we wanted to try the "best pizza in Germany" and went to Capuccini. The ambience inside was small but nice and nicely decorated. The outside area was also nice in summer, even if it was next to the street. The service was very nice and we felt good Picked up. Drinks came relatively quickly. Food didn't take long to arrive either. Two normal pizzas and one children's pizza. Tasted good and certainly high quality ingredients, dough was nice and fluffy and still crispy, size was perfect.....all in all We are satisfied and I would give it 9 out of 10. The children's pizza came in the shape of a heart, a nice gag and was also well topped. We thought it was great value for money! We will be happy to come back.

Vergangenes Wochenende haben wir spontan im Cappuccini zu Abend gegessen. Die Lokalität war gut besucht, doch wir haben glücklicherweise noch einen Tisch bekommen können und sind, was das Essen angeht, positiv überrascht worden. Der vegane Wrap und vor allem die Pizza Zucchinella haben uns sehr lecker geschmeckt, ebenso die Kugel Eis (geröstete Mandel), die wir noch To Go mitgenommen haben. Ein paar Tage darauf bestellten wir uns Essen zum Abholen. Leider blieb von dem positiven Eindruck, den wir zuvor persönlich vor Ort gewonnen hatten, nicht mehr viel übrig. Vom Essen waren wir ziemlich enttäuscht. Die Pizza Vegetaria schmeckte nicht mehr als mittelmäßig. Zudem waren wir etwas verwundert, (geschwärzte?) Oliven auf einer Pizza zu finden, die lediglich mit buntem Marktgemüse deklariert ist. Hätten wir vorher besser mal nachgefragt… Der italienische Salat überzeugte auch nicht wirklich. Teilweise riesige Salatblätter und die Gurkenscheiben für meinen Geschmack viel zu dick geschnitten. Des Weiteren schmeckte die Zwiebel im Salat sehr „streng“ woraufhin nur noch bestmögliches Aussortieren half. Immerhin war das Mango-Chili-Dressing lecker und wurde auch in ein separates Schälchen gepackt, was ich persönlich bei Speisen zum Abholen bevorzuge. Am meistens enttäuscht hat jedoch das Pasta-Gericht (Spaghetti mit veganer Bolognese). Hier überzeugte leider gar nichts. Statt der bestellten Spaghetti bekamen wir ohne vorherige Info Linguine. Das Verhältnis Sauce zu Pasta passte einfach nicht (viel zu wenig Sauce), insgesamt trocken und ohne Geschmack. Die Nudeln waren außerdem zu weich gekocht und irgendwie lieblos (nicht mal für ein frisches Basilikumblättchen hat es gereicht, obwohl auf den Bildern in der Speisekarte recht häufig vertreten). Wären wir vor Ort gewesen, hätten wir sicherlich reklamiert. Eines noch: Aus der Speisekarte geht hervor (gleich unter Pasta und Gnocchi), dass u. a. die Teige selbst hergestellt werden. Die Pasta aus unserer Bestellung schmeckte jedoch eher nach den Nudeln wie aus dem Vorratsschrank zu Hause. Unser Fazit: Pizza und Eis werden wir uns auf unserer nächsten Durchreise ggf. mal wieder genehmigen. Eine vollumfängliche Empfehlung können wir aber leider nicht aussprechen.

Schlechtester Service überhaupt. Wir saßen seit gut 45 Minuten vor leeren Gläsern, die junge, weibliche Servicekraft hatte dies auch schon mehrfach registriert und sich nicht die Mühe gemacht uns zu fragen ob wir noch etwas bestellen wollen. Komischerweise konnte sie aber am Nebentisch mit einem Gast (Bekannte oder Verwandte) tratschen. Ihr Kollege hingegen hatte zumindest seine Station halbwegs im Griff. Stress und volle Tische hin oder her, aber der Service geht einfach gar nicht. Nach dem uns dann auch der männliche Kellner ignoriert hat (der Anfangs unsere Bestellung aufgenommen sind wir halt dann gegangen. Offensichtlich will dieses Lokal kein Geld verdienen 🤷‍♂️

Der Orangen Engel war lecker, die Bedienung hatte alles im Blick und war flott. Die Sitzgelegenheiten außen ist durch den befahren Ortsverkehr leider sehr ungemütlich, es ist zu laut. Wir werden trotzdem irgendwann wiederkommen und eine Pizza essen.
