The service staff are absolutely terrible, only giving rude answers to legitimate questions, not child-friendly. Last visit there when Annafest seems to be all about the sales commission.

We were there for the Annafest. We had a meat skewer for €13.80. Four small pieces of meat, no onions or peppers, and a few fries were way too expensive. Any snack bar will do better.

It was my first time coming to Forchheim for the Annafest. I wanted something to eat, and a friend of mine recommended this cellar to me. The Eichhornkeller is located outdoors in the Kellerwald forest and has plenty of space for sitting, drinking, and enjoying a quiet meal. Here, you can find typical Upper Franconian dishes. The food was truly delicious, and the servers were very friendly. The prices were average. Even though it rained the whole time, there was a pleasant and cheerful atmosphere. If you want to have a good time, the Eichhornkeller is definitely the place. Highly recommended!

There were four of us, we had three different orders, and everything was absolutely perfect. We'll definitely be returning to this place on our next visit! Good prices, delicious food, and friendly service!

The food was fantastic (we tried: cheese spaetzle, Franconian sausages, Schäuferla).

The Eichhornkeller is a nice, small cellar between Stäffala and Weiss-Tauben-Keller. It opens quite late in the year. The prices are average. The food selection is good – it's just a shame that the cellar's usual snacks aren't available until 5:00 PM (before that, they're only available warm). Especially in summer, after a hike, you often crave something cold. The horseradish sausages I had were delicious, and even better with the horseradish. The potato salad tasted like it was freshly made – can't complain :-)

Kellerplatte is highly recommended. A beautifully situated cellar. Pleasant temperatures even in summer.

The food was great, but the staff was really slow to arrive. It wasn't even that busy, but we had to wait a long time to order. At least the food was reasonably good.

The beer is stored right next door in the old sandstone cellar and tastes delicious.

We were given a spontaneous tour of the cellar, which was very interesting. The beer and atmosphere were also great. Highly recommended!

Friendly service and good food and drinks

Went to the beer garden for the Annafest. Service was very friendly and the beer was tasty. This was our second time in the beer garden for the Annafest and this time we also ate something. On the tip of the waiter, we ordered the Schäufele and it was very tender and crispy. The roast pork and knuckle were also good. All in all, another lovely visit.

The two of us were here this evening, there wasn't much going on. We waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for the food. 20 minutes after ordering, service came and explained that the fried chicken was no longer available. We came here specifically for that reason. Wanting to order another dish, that was also out. I asked what else was available (warm dish), the veal schnitzel, the most expensive dish on the menu. We won't be guests here again any time soon.

I had the pleasure of visiting the cellar and was overall very impressed with my experience there. First of all, I have to emphasize the excellent value for money. The quality of the products on offer was in amazing proportion to the prices, which made my visit particularly pleasant. In addition, the atmosphere in the cellar was extremely pleasant. Overall, I can highly recommend the cellar. Whether for a sociable evening with friends or for a relaxed drink alone - here you get a great experience at a really fair price.

Hervorragendes Essen, sehr bemühtes, freundliches Personal, flexibel und auch noch nach 20:00Uhr. Inzwischen schon untypisch gut für den Kellerwald! Klare Empfehlung! Macht weiter so!

Es wird dran erinnert, dass es auf Bierkellern weiterhin erlaubt ist, seine Brotzeit auch selbst mit zu bringen.

Eine rundum perfekte Erfahrung - 10 von 10 Sternen! Ich hatte heute das Vergnügen, in einem Keller zu speisen, das wirklich alle Erwartungen übertroffen hat. Vom Moment meiner Ankunft bis zum Abschied war die Erfahrung einfach großartig. Der junge Bediener war nicht nur äußerst professionell, sondern auch unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Seine Aufmerksamkeit und sein Engagement für exzellenten Service waren bemerkenswert. Das Essen war zweifellos der Höhepunkt meines Besuchs. Jeder einzelne Bissen war ein kulinarisches Meisterwerk. Die Aromen waren perfekt ausbalanciert, und die Präsentation der Gerichte war wirklich beeindruckend. Es war offensichtlich, dass die Küchencrew viel Liebe zum Detail und eine Leidenschaft für hochwertige Zutaten hatte. Jeder Gang war ein Genuss für die Sinne und ließ mich nach mehr verlangen. Die Atmosphäre war angenehm und einladend. Insgesamt kann ich diesen Keller nur wärmstens empfehlen. Der super nette Bediener, das leckere Essen und die makellose Atmosphäre machen es zu einem absoluten Juwel. Ich gebe dieser Erfahrung glücklich und ohne zu zögern 10 von 10 Sternen. Sie werden es nicht bereuen!

Das Schäuferla war gut und vom Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in Ordnung. Die Portion Spätzle war allerdings winzig und der kleine Gurkensalat eher ein Mini-Gurkensalat, satt wird man hier leider nicht. Dafür war es viel zu teuer, in anderen Biergärten wäre das vielleicht gerade einmal eine Kinderportion gewesen, dafür sind aber 9.80€ deutlich zu teuer.

Das Bier war gut. Meine Haxe war auch lecker aber die Stadtwurst mit Musik es waren 8 Scheibchen Wurst und eine halbe scheibe Brot für 8€. Und die Kellerplatte für meinen Sohn kam überhaupt nicht.

Wir waren zur Kellereröffnung da. Wie erwartet war viel los und dementsprechend auch Wartezeiten. Was wohl einige Gäste nicht einsehen wollen 😑. Es ist schon eine gute Leistung vom Personal da die Ruhe und den Überblick zu behalten 👍. Andere Keller haben zur Eröffnung gar nicht erst geöffnet. Uns hat's geschmeckt und wir kommen jetzt wieder öfters..🙂

If you want the secret tip of the Kellerwald, go here. The selection may not be the biggest, however the food is hands down the best. If you want great beer, plenty of seating in the shade and fast service go here. Also the staff are very helpful and food substitutions (within reason) can be made.

Bier war prima. Süffig! Die Bratwürste mit Kartoffelsalat exzellent. Service flink und aufmerksam. Absolute Empfehlung!

Leckeres Bier von der kleinsten Brauerei Forchheims. Wie alle Keller am Forchheimer Kellerberg in schattiger Lage. Die üblichen fränkischen Speisen lassen keine Wünsche offen, noch sehr authentisch!
