Wir haben das Sonntagsmenüe genossen. Es war einfach nur klasse. Geschmacklich der Wildblütensalat erste Sshne, tolles Dressing. Das Ambiente ist besonders. Verwinkelt und historisch. Sehr gemütlich und schon fast kuschelig. Wir kommen sich wieder. Preis-/Leistung beim Sonntagsmenüe absolut in Ordnung.

Hervorragende französische Landhausküche in Falkensee Wir waren hier mittags zum Essen. Das Konzept überzeugt: Es gibt ein festes, wöchentlich oder tagesaktuell wechselndes Mittagsmenü, was für Frische und eine fokussierte Küche spricht. Die Gerichte waren handwerklich absolut fehlerfrei und auf den Punkt zubereitet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Sauce – eine perfekt reduzierte, tiefgründige und glänzende Jus, wie man sie heute nur noch selten findet. Das Fleisch war perfekt gegart (wunderbar rosa bzw. butterzart geschmort), die Beilagen wie das cremige Püree mit Croutons, das geschmorte Gemüse und der frische Salat perfekt darauf abgestimmt. Ein echtes kulinarisches Highlight im Berliner Umland. Wer ehrliche, anspruchsvolle französische Landhausküche ohne Chichi sucht, ist hier goldrichtig. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Ich habe kürzlich Edmond's Hexenhaus besucht und hatte eine sehr schöne Erfahrung. Das Ambiente war besonders gemütlich und originell gestaltet, mit viel Charme und einer einzigartigen Atmosphäre. Die Speisen waren frisch, lecker und liebevoll angerichtet, während die Getränkeauswahl ebenfalls überzeugen konnte. Das Personal war freundlich, aufmerksam und sorgte für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Insgesamt ein toller Ort für ein entspanntes Essen in außergewöhnlichem Ambiente.

Ich war gestern Mittag spontan mit meiner Tante da, es ist aber besser zu reservieren. Das Essen hat wunderbar geschmeckt, Service und Ambiente sind auch topp.

Hexenhaus ist genau die richtige Bezeichnung für dieses Haus- ausgesprochen orginell . Fassade und die verwinkelten Räume, eine Terrasse zum draußen sitzen - alles passt zur Bezeichnung Hexenhaus. Bedienung und Service sehr freundlich und flott. Wir haben ein Menü gegessen und das hat alles harmoniert und war sehr lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!

Nicht behinderten Gerecht außer auf der Terrasse aber Toilette zBsp nicht.

Das Essen hatte Sterne-Niveau! Dazu ein gemütliches Ambiente und zauberhafte Umsorgung des Servicepersonals. Das Hexenhaus hat mich und meine liebste "Hexe" bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal gesehen.

Ein einzigartiges Haus, schön anzuschauen- aber ringsherum muss noch aufgeräumt werden! Essen war KLASSE ,etwas wenig, wenn man großen Hunger hat. Preis hat es in sich!

Ein unglaublich schönes Einod des Jugendstils kombiniert mit einer authentisch gehobenen, jungen talentierten und nahbaren Küche, die ihr Handwerk versteht und liebt. Nahbare Küche kann man aufgrund des Denkmalschutzes hier tatsächlich wörtlich nehmen: wo sonst kann und darf man direkt beim Eintreten dem Koch direkt in die Töpfe schauen?! Wir kamen in den Genuss, zum Lunch sowohl Essen, als auch Architektur und Galerie gleichermaßen in vollen Zügen genießen zu können. Dankeschön! Wir kommen sehr gern wieder.

Wir waren am 1. Mai zum Mittag hier. Schon das Haus ist sehenswert; Holzkonstruktion und innen verwinkelt und verschnörkelt. Der Garten dazu passend, sagen wir mal verwildert. Freundlicher Empfang und wir bekamen auf der Terrasse einen schönen Platz mit Blick auf das ganze Ensemble. Leider waren nur wenig Gäste da. Mittags gibt es nur das Menü und wir hatten einmal das 2-Gang Menü und einmal das 3-Gang Menü ausgewählt. Als Vorspeise Wildkräuter/Gartensalat mit herrlichem Dressing. Da ich keinen Parmesankäse dazu wollte wurde mir feiner dünner Schinken dazu gereicht, lecker. Das Rindergulasch war prima und mein Dessert Crème brûlée schon optisch eine Augenweide. Durch die offene Küche wurde auch meine Frage zu einer Gemüsesorte beim Salat sofort und freundlich geklärt. Ich kann manche Kritiken an den Preisen oder Portionsgrößen nicht nachvollziehen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und hatten ein kulinarisches und visuelles Erlebnis.

Leider kann ich nur jeweils 5 Punkt geben. Ich bin des öfteren daran vorbei gegangen und habe mich gefragt wie es da drinnen wohl aussieht. Der Eingang geht durch den Kelle, vorbei an der Küche in den ersten Stock, Herrrrrlich. Das gesamte Ambiente nicht nur als Gesamtpaket nein, die einzelnen ,, Stuben" machen diesen Ort perfekt. Das Essen richtig richtig lecker und ausreichend. Der Koch hat alles gegeben und die volle Punktzahl bekommen. Schön, dass es gelungen ist diese Lokation so zu erhalten und zu unterhalten. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ein tolles Erlebnis mit sehr köstlichem Essen. Großen Respekt an die fleißigen Damen der Bedienung.

Uriges kleines Gasthaus. Um in das Restaurant zu kommen muß man eine steile Treppe hoch. Sollte man nicht mehr gut zu Fuß sein bzw gehbehindert, kann man das bei der Reservierung mit angeben. Dann kann man unten in der guten Stube sitzen. Wir wissen es jetzt für das nächste Mal. Das Essen war gut. Auf individuelle wünsche, wurde eingegangen. Das Gasthaus ist sehr zu empfehlen. Eine Terasse ist auch vorhanden.

Das Hexenhaus ist so unfassbar schön und außergewöhnlich. Hier werden die Gäste satt aber satt sehen an der wunderschönen Architektur, ist unmöglich. Das Personal ist herzlich, freundlich und aufmerksam, in der Küche kann man fast in den Topf schmumeln - ein rundum tolles Restaurant. Die Portionen sind auf den Punkt, die Auswahl sehr gelungen sowie das Geschmackserlebnis vorzüglich. Auch das extra servierte Kindergericht war wunderbar und einfallsreich. Wir haben lange nicht mehr so umwerfend gut in so einer grandiosen Kulisse gegessen. Vielen Dank, dass wir dank euch heute so beschwingt und glücklich die Woche beenden dürfen. Wir kommen sehr, sehr gerne wieder!

Ich habe dort nicht gegessen bzw. haben wir das Lokal nicht betreten, weil uns das Umfeld als sehr ungepflegt vorkam. Hatten einen Weg von 170 km vorgenommen und waren enttäuscht. Zum Essen und andere Dinge kann ich keine Bewertung abgeben. Wir fahren dort jedenfalls nicht mehr hin!

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal im Restaurant Edmunds Hexenhaus. Das Ambiente hat uns sehr gefallen 👍 Die freundliche Bedienung ist auch zu erwähnen. Man ging auf meine Wünsche wegen meinem Reizdarmsyndrom hilfreich ein. 👏🫶 Das Essen war mega lecker 😋😋 Auch unsere Pudeldame Peggy 🐩 wurde freundlich begrüßt und sofort mit Wasser versorgt. 👍 Diese Gaststätte ist zu empfehlen und wir kommen bestimmt bald wieder.

Wir waren heute dort, das Ambiente ist nett, es ist klein gemütlich und usselig, der Eingang ist durch die Küche durch, das fand ich irgendwie cool. Das essen war in Ordnung. Die Preise dagegen utopisch für die doch eher kleinen Portionen. Also die Preise sind wirklich von einer anderen Welt für das was man geboten bekommt. Das Essen war irgendwie lieblos serviert, aber trotzdem okay, portion Service war Super. Ich empfehle das Restaurant wegen derPreispolitik nicht.

Völlig überteuert und nichts Besonderes auf dem Teller!!!!Eine Miniportion Kartoffelbrei,etwas Lauchgemüse und eine kleines Stückchen Fisch für 29 Euro. Absolut nicht nachvollziehbar dieser Preis! Wir haben schon sehr gute Lokale besucht,wo man deutlich hochwertiger,preislich angemessener und von den Portionen ausreichend essen kann.

Wer auf ein außergewöhnliches Ambiente & leckerem Essen steht, ist hier genau richtig. Es gibt nur eine kleine Karte, aber das ist ja meistens gut. Wir hatten Dorsch, Rinderbrust, einen Salat mit super leckerem, frischem Brot und zum Nachtisch warmen Käsekuchen und es war alles sehr lecker und außergewöhnlich. Preislich ist es schon teuer, aber dafür auch ein Erlebnis fürs Auge und für den Geschmack.

Schnelle Bedienung, gutes Essen

Wir waren zum familiären post-weihanchtsessen im Hexenhaus. Es war ein schönes und leckeres Erlebnis. Der Service ist sehr nett und aufmerksam.

Süßes kleines Restaurant in einer charmanten Umgebung. Wir wurden trotz fehlender Reservierung freundlich empfangen. Das Essen war super lecker und preislich angemessen. Leider ist es nicht barrierefrei.

Leider überteuert. Die angebotenen Weihnachts-Gerichte sind gut, aber viel zu teuer im Vergleich zu anderen Restaurants mit gleicher Küche mit Qualitätsansprüchen. Salat( Vorspeise)und Gansgericht ( sehr kleine Keule) für fast 50€. Ansonsten nettes Ambiente und sehr nette Bedienung und Betreiber. Für uns ,die von weiter wegkommen aus der Stadt, reicht daher 1x Besuch, um das urige Häuschen zu sehen.

Great restaurant in a lovely setting, especially at Christmas. The menu is small, but the food is delicious and fresh with wonderful flavors. Prices are reasonable; quality comes at a price. The service was very friendly. It was our first visit, and we'd love to come back.

We're writing this review while still buzzing from our visit and are absolutely delighted. Enjoying a three-course meal in such a charming little house, which is actually called Haus Waltraud, was a real treat. We felt comfortable right from the moment we arrived. Walking through the kitchen to our table created an almost familial atmosphere. We had the Christmas menu and were truly pleasantly surprised. Whether it was the soup or salad for the starter, or the duck leg or the Black Angus goulash, everything was superb, and the dessert was absolutely perfect. The waitresses who served us today were so warm and friendly that it made for a truly wonderful birthday celebration for my husband. I was especially pleased to be able to thank the chefs personally as we left. Even settling the bill was a lovely touch. Every single euro was more than worth it. We will definitely be back.

We were there on Saturday and it was magical 😍. A small, cozy restaurant with super friendly and attentive staff. A huge compliment also goes to the kitchen 😍👍. The food was delicious and the bread…😋… a treat even for those who don't usually eat bread. Keep up the good work!

We go there for special occasions, and yesterday was one of those days again, and we're always thrilled. The food (sea bream and duck leg) was divine; we haven't had such excellent food in a very long time. Thank you to the wonderful people there, whether chefs or servers, you're the best!

It was a wonderful time with great service and excellent food.

The two of us arrived on a Wednesday at lunchtime with a reservation. It was my first time there, in a remote corner of Falkensee where no one would expect to find such a beautiful house. The name is fitting, as this is where "Baba Yaga" lives; it's reminiscent of Hansel and Gretel – the witch's house in the fairy tale looks just like that! The exterior is made of oak trees, some of them split lengthwise and the smooth side facing the wall. The old wooden windows are perfectly fitted with double-glazed panes. The entrance is at the back of the house, and stairs lead down to the cellar. There, we were greeted and shown to a table on the ground floor, past the kitchen, and up a narrow staircase with a banister. Upstairs, there are several tables for two and four people, as well as one for six. We were shown to a table for two by the bright window, seated on old chairs with rounded seats and backs. We were given the menu and recommendations for what to eat. We each ordered a beer and took the opportunity to admire the beautiful oil paintings on the walls. The creamy broccoli soup arrives, and we devour it. It's served with homemade, fluffy white bread with a wonderfully crispy crust: mmm, delicious! Before the main course of duck leg arrives, we take the opportunity to climb another floor, naturally via a narrow, curved staircase! Upstairs, two tables have a button for champagne and a view outside. It's the perfect place to be pampered. The restroom is located at the very bottom of the cellar next to the kitchen—very narrow! The restroom itself is small, with the ladies' urinal on the right, followed by the gentlemen's urinal, and then the toilet with a seat. Right next to the urinal is the communal handwashing sink, complete with soap and paper towels—you really only need one to dry your hands. It's all quite cramped, yet cozy and rustic at the same time—simply enchanting. We'd had our fill of the view, and now the main course arrived: crispy roasted, yet incredibly tender duck leg with potato dumplings and red cabbage with apples, and a separate pan of duck jus. Simply delicious! We reluctantly skipped the baked apple dessert and coffee, keeping the bill under €30 per person. Dining in this fairytale setting is pure pleasure! We'll definitely be back! But we were told we need to book well in advance, otherwise there's no room, even in summer. Please don't spread the word, so it remains a hidden gem.

There's something truly special about dining at the Hexenhaus. From the beautiful, rustic ambiance to the warm welcome and friendly staff, to the excellent food. The themed evenings (art and culinary) are especially recommended. Admittedly, it's a bit of a stretch on the wallet, but it's worth it, and quality has its price.

An absolute must-see when in Falkensee.

I wanted to surprise my husband spontaneously after reading about it online. At first, we were also impressed by the architecture of the Witch's House. The service at reception was very friendly, but then nothing... Waiting, waiting, waiting... After 25 minutes, the server came and informed us that they only offered set menus and no special dietary options. That's a shame, it doesn't work for us. It was disappointing.

I was here for lunch today, as a friend invited me. The three-course meal was excellent, and the staff was very attentive and friendly. A thoroughly enjoyable experience! The restaurant looks very nice and inviting, both inside and out.

We were warmly greeted by Edmond himself on a cold, blustery and rainy Sunday. It is amazing to see how he prepares meal after meal from his small and cosy kitchen. I am so glad we discovered this "witch cottage" on a documentary on Brandenburg. A little out of the way but also a wonderful chance to explore the countryside amd such a unique restaurant. One suggestion from us would be to also offer a kid's menu perhaps? We were the only family with kids on Sunday but I am sure many families would be happy to visit. The service was warm and delightful, the prices reasonable for our 3-course lunch! I wish the team a lot of success and a big thank you from all of us.

My husband and I went to the Hexenhaus today, October 9, 2025, for a two-course lunch menu and thoroughly enjoyed the lovely atmosphere and delicious food! The chef was fantastic, the service was super friendly, and the manager was a lovely chat. We're delighted that it's now open for lunch from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday. We go there as often as possible.

Today, for our anniversary, we had lunch at Edmond's Hexenhaus. We'd like to say a big thank you to him and his team for the wonderful hospitality and his unique, high-quality food. Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back next year at the same time. Thank you so much!

On a walk four weeks ago, we visited our local gem, the Hexenhäuschen, because my mother had read about it and wanted to check it out. We didn't expect to get a table spontaneously, as reservations are recommended. But we were lucky; the garden was sparsely occupied on a Saturday afternoon, and the owner personally assigned us a table. Up until then, everything was fine; everyone was friendly. A quick bite to eat and a drink in the garden in the beautiful weather—that's all we wanted. However, after we "only" ordered a rather inexpensive appetizer and a drink, the service suddenly became really unpleasant. The waiter repeatedly explained to us at the table in the still sparsely occupied garden that we should make a reservation, as well as the guests at another table, and also explained where we should pay. My mother's plate was practically snatched from under her nose as she took her last bite; we should have finished our drink. The waiter wanted us to get rid of her as quickly as possible. It was truly unpleasant. In total, we spent about 30-45 minutes there. The chef is nice, the food is very good, but the service on this day was not. What a shame.

We celebrated our son's birthday here and will cherish the memory of our visit. The house and its history are truly unique and provided the perfect setting for our visit. We were served by a very professional and personable mother-daughter team. The food was a delight to look at and even more so to eat. Everything was just perfect. The prices are a bit on the high side, but ultimately, the stay was worth every single cent. We were thrilled and would gladly return when the opportunity arises. Went to "Tischlein deck dich" (a table setting), very friendly service, cool location!

Portion sizes could be a bit larger for the price, considering it's so delicious. The tents are unsightly and don't match the rest.

A unique ambiance! You can feel the witch's house, and the food was also magically good, wonderfully seasoned, and superbly presented across the board. Four of us went there, and everyone was thrilled. "We'll do it again!" was the unanimous response.

The Hexenhaus presents itself as "French cuisine" at upscale prices. The menu is limited. The food is served at tiny tables in a dark dining room. This is probably why the dimmable lights are placed on the very small tables. The chairs aren't particularly comfortable. Given the high prices, I expected the food to be very good quality. The appetizer and main course were too salty. Except for one pasta dish, all the other main courses had identical side dishes, which raises the suspicion that guests are served pre-cooked meals in this restaurant. If you're operating a chain restaurant, this should be communicated honestly. However, the prices would then be hardly justifiable. I find it alarming that the health department doesn't intervene when there are two restrooms, one for men and one for women, located right next to the "kitchen." I can't recommend the Hexenhaus and prefer to visit restaurants that employ a trained chef.

Very disappointed After the witch's house was praised to the skies everywhere, I was a guest and I have to say I'm extremely disappointed. The food was very good, even though we had to wait almost an hour and a half for it. There was a very small selection, and when something on the menu is sold out on a Saturday evening at 6 p.m., when the restaurant opens at 4 p.m. and you're told that there have already been a lot of orders for it, you feel a bit ripped off. Furthermore, I found the hard, old wooden tables and chairs completely inadequate for the price-performance ratio, not to mention unloving. All in all, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Restaurant leider nicht Reinlich genug. Spinnenweben überall. Essen war durch die Bank nur Tiefkühlkost, unhygenisch zubereitet. Keinerlei Beachtung des HACCP Konzeptes. Abgelaufene Wahre wurde verarbeitet. Haare im Essen. Billigste Sellgros und Edeka Wahre zu horensen Preisen.

Tolles Restaurant, kleine aber feine Karte. Der Service war sehr freundlich, es war ein schöner, gelungener Abend in echt toller Atmosphäre

Wir kommen jedes Jahr aus Köln hierher. Durch einen Zufall bin ich auf das hexenhaus in falkensee gestoßen. Kurz entschlossen habe ich einen Tisch für 3 Personen reserviert. Wir wurden von einen sehr netten Chef und einer sehr netten Dame begrüßt. Zu essen hatten wir wolfsbarsch und Böckchen von irischen weiderind. Das Essen war echt spitze genauso wie der Service und das Ambiente.

Excellent food of exceptional quality. Very friendly staff who will spoil you. The higher prices there seem justified.

A week ago we had an excellent meal in the historic Art Nouveau ambience with very good service, especially the raviellis, the brisket and the creme brulee.

Exquisite cuisine, very attentive service, and a wonderful and unique Art Nouveau ambiance. Small seating areas for two are available. Reservations are recommended. We were delighted and would gladly return! Thanks to the team for a wonderful evening.

Always happy to come back!!! On Sundays, the "Table Set Yourself" 3-course menu, but you never know what's going to be served. Never disappointed so far🫠☺️
