The food was okay. Unfortunately, despite asking, we were only "allowed" to eat for 35 minutes today, not the full hour, for which I would have paid an extra €2. We found that a real shame, as they offer two different time slots, and the crowds weren't too busy at that time. It's clear that they're only concerned with sales, not customer satisfaction! What a pity!

The sushi was a disgrace. The salmon, tuna, and avocado were brown and looked like they'd been on the conveyor belt for a week. With every movement of the conveyor belt, my appetite diminished. Things were leaking and not presented well. The staff was unfriendly, ripped us off, and rushed us. We left earlier than we should have because it was so disgusting. We didn't know whether to laugh or cry, but laughing almost made us urinate, so not really. I'll give you two hours, then you'll be sitting on the toilet. Get well soon to those affected.

As of August 2022 It's become very, very stressful these days when you're asked after every plate of food if you're ready, both shortly after sitting down and shortly after extending your meal time from half an hour to an hour. By now, there are already two guys hovering around you, practically snatching every used plate right out of your hands and eager for you to hand over your chopsticks. The message is clear: Get lost! As of May 2022: 5 ***** What do the people who give negative reviews here because of the price/performance ratio actually want? Not only are we deeply in the grip of inflation, with rising gas prices due to the war, but the restaurant owners have been struggling with Covid for almost three years now, at the end of their rope. All-you-can-eat for €14 doesn't even mean €4 in goods for almost an hour of embarrassing German buffet behavior. But the price charged is still too much for you under the circumstances; the quantity, selection, and price should remain the same. The 45-minute thing is also a lie; I was there yesterday. It was still a full hour of running sushi. As of December 21: I don't know what the last reviewers are talking about. I was there again yesterday and the service was stressed but friendly, and even though I was alone, I had the best seat and was able to indulge in excessive gluttony for an hour for €15. High-quality nigiri and maki (except gunkan) pass by, as well as numerous other items like shrimp, baked chicken, meat skewers, krupuk, wonton, and other fried items, as well as desserts. The waitress rushes through every five minutes, clears away empty plates, and even helps you save money by forgetting to bring your ordered drinks. It's nice that they don't serve Coke, but Afri.

I've eaten there several times and have always been incredibly satisfied. But on this day, I wasn't. Under the guise of "school holidays," they force you to stay for only 35 minutes... The 35-minute option is MUCH more expensive than the 60-minute option! 35 minutes costs €16, while 60 minutes—a full 25 minutes longer—is only €3 more expensive! Forcing you to stay for 35 minutes and not being able to decide for yourself during school holidays is just a rip-off and outrageous!

I've been to this restaurant several times and have always been satisfied. Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience on my last visit five days ago. One day after eating, I developed strange stomach problems that have persisted to this day. During the meal, I noticed that one of the sushi rolls had noticeable brown/black spots on the avocado (see photo). When I asked about it, the waiter assured me that this was completely normal. Since I was skeptical, I looked it up online and spoke to another waiter – unfortunately, he reacted very rudely and passively aggressively, and then called another employee. Ultimately, we only had to pay half the bill, but we also spent a large part of our visit arguing. I'm disappointed because I've had good experiences so far – but in this case, the response was neither professional nor customer-oriented. And most importantly, I still have health problems to this day.

We used to really enjoy coming here, but today it was anything but OK. The pudding was always a nice way to finish, but today there were hairs in almost every bowl, probably nose hairs, including the roots. When I mentioned it to the waitress and then to the manager, they dismissed it, quote: it can happen, end of quote. Today was my first time ever at a running sushi restaurant. I read the menu and was politely approached by an employee and asked to take a seat. I told him it was my first time, and he briefly explained everything to me and took my drink order. I was there at 12 p.m. on a Tuesday. The selection was plentiful, varied, and fresh. I really enjoyed the food. My plates were cleared twice within 35 minutes. I was very satisfied and will be back.

First of all it located in the hub of town and under the skyline of mall so that is definitely bright and great. Secondly the service is quick and its equipment is clear. The are various types of Japanese food available. In spite of the conditions above, unfortunately what I experienced is the quality of food is under the terms of Sushi restaurant should offer. The rice and noodles both are wrongly done that I have never seen before. Ugly wrapped, hard and dry! For vegetarian dishes mainly found in the under running trail, the upper trail provides warm and flesh dishes that majority of them are deep fried. But again most of them are over cooked. Hard , crispy and dry. One last check is the bill problem. I asked for 35 minutes of meal time. Of course I finished my lunch before the time limit, but the cashier charged me for more one hour of meal ?! €15.90? The record paper had shown the evidence and I kept silent because I expected she would have corrected the mistake. But she didn’t. Business honesty is most important issue. I am disappointed.

We were there last Thursday for lunch around 2:00 p.m. I haven't been there for a long time...it's never been great, but it's always been okay. This time it was just a total impudence. We could choose whether we wanted to sit for 30 minutes or an hour and paid more accordingly. The food was ancient, everything was dried out, there was no choice, and you could only find the meat in the dishes with a magnifying glass or not at all. We will NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN!! What's wrong with you... are you proving that I wasn't there to eat... you never get a bill... and then I'm supposed to keep it? This email is really copied nonsense with judgments about reviews, not even from a lawyer. So really... You're probably hoping that they don't respond and that Google deletes the review after 2 weeks... When you receive something like this, you really have to ask yourself questions: As an authorized representative of Ebisu - Running Sushi, the reviews must be deleted for the following reasons. 1.) Deletion due to lack of professional connection Customer contact between the client and the reviewer is a necessary prerequisite for the legal publication of a review. My customer denies such customer contact with the reviewer because of his lack of knowledge. Due to the anonymous or pseudonymous profile, my client cannot judge whether the name of the user profile does not match the real name of the author. I've never had a meal like this before, I had a tuna bowl with rice. My rice was cold and the tuna didn't taste very good. My brother had a noodle box with spring rolls that was also completely cold. After we complained, our food was warmed up in the microwave, which made everything soggy. After complaining again, the employees became unfriendly. The concept is simply brilliant. The small portion size means you can try a lot of different dishes. Hot food is on top, cold food is on the bottom. Unfortunately, it doesn't say anywhere what's in there; So the contents are often a surprise but always delicious, even the unexpected plantain. Probably quite stressful for vegetarians, but perfectly fine as a flexitarian. I recommend reading the fine print on the menu: on Fridays, Saturdays and holidays you cannot eat for 1 hour, but only for 35 minutes. Outside of these days, the 1 hour rate is extremely inexpensive if you have a big appetite.

When we are near the Citygalerie, we like to go here. We have already been here with our grandchild and also our 90-year-old father. So far we have always received nice and friendly service. Nobody forced anything on us. We have always been satisfied so far and have never had to go to extremes despite the crowds. Cutlery and spoons were easily brought for father upon request, as he cannot eat with chopsticks. For 10 minutes I tried to explain that it was until 4pm, but they didn't understand. It was an embarrassing and ridiculous situation. I didn't know about a discount, I only saw it there and I didn't really care. Today, it was extremely salty, like they cooked both noodles and sauce with sea water. It was not possible to eat it. I called the waiter over, that woman was not approachable, she couldn’t take the critic nor did she offer another dish. We ordered the G2 and G5 boxes to take away. Unfortunately, we only got the G5 duck on dry rice and without sauce, not on egg rice, as we had hoped for at a price of €9.90. The egg noodles with the baked chicken had a strong vegetable broth flavor and were therefore inedible.

We were there at lunchtime today. As expected, there was of course a lot going on, but we got our turn quickly and were allowed to sit down. Only 35 minutes are reserved for each guest and these are strictly adhered to. Fine for a quick lunch, but next time it's better not to eat on the assembly line. Quality was okay, plates were cleared quickly (sometimes as soon as you had the last bite in your mouth). The staff was friendly, but for the price of around €16 I might prefer to eat somewhere else.

I came yesterday with my friend and the waiter started yelling at us because we took a plate and put it back. He could just explain to us how this restaurant works. He was definitely in a bad mood. My friend said that he is probably tired and we stayed. Then, he came to us and said that he already took plates from our table and wanted to overcharge us. My friend politely said that he did not take any plates from our table. However, he was very rude and unwelcomed. It was an Asian young guy. The whole time he was very rude and we felt that we should leave.

Hardly any choice, chicken was half raw, sushi was dry, employees scream in your ear, you are chased out after half an hour even though you just wanted to finish your drink for the last 5 minutes.

Went to Running Sushi again today. The sushi was dry, partly shattered, not tasty and there was hardly any higher quality sushi such as salmon. You literally had to look for it. The warm dishes also no longer corresponded to the quality that we actually know from this restaurant... What a shame. There has been hardly any choice for a long time. We have been missing our favorite dish, the red pea puree balls, since our last visit. Some of the flaps that can be opened are torn and stuck or are defective. So no emphasis is placed on innovations here. Today the staff was really hectic and you felt like you were at the train station. It was very uncomfortable. I can't say whether it was because of the holiday instinct or whether it's standard practice. But unfortunately I can no longer recommend it for the now very expensive price. We won't test it a fourth time because unfortunately it gets worse each time. :(

Rarely have I experienced something so unfriendly!! If you put a small plate of running sushi away because it doesn't taste good, the employees will immediately tell you that this isn't possible and you'll be thrown out straight away. After 35 minutes of eating, you feel like you're half shooed out because new guests might be arriving. Absolutely not recommended!! Never again!

Unfortunately there wasn't that much choice and the quality of the food wasn't the best either. The vegetable kebabs had the onion peel on them, you couldn't pick up the summer roll because it had already completely fallen apart and the pudding had probably been on the production line since 10 a.m. Plus, you could hardly take anything out without knocking over everything else. There was hardly anything going on and yet the waitresses hardly cared about the guests. But the food itself was delicious. However, for the price I wouldn't go there again.

The food itself is ok, but the service is subpar. We have a! I didn't eat the item because it smelled bad and were told in a very strict and aggressive tone to eat the sushi immediately. We still didn't want to eat it because, as we said, it smelled bad, but the waiter got angry and asked why we ate the other things, but not just this one thing, and said we should pay an extra €5. We said, we'll just pay for it, but we don't want to eat it. We all come from the catering industry ourselves and have never experienced anything like this. If at an all you can eat buffet you don't want people to just take something out without eating it, that's more than understandable, but making such a fuss and reacting aggressively over something that smelled bad is neither professional nor appropriate. People like that don't belong in the service! The waiter's aggression towards us was evident even as we were leaving, all in all we felt very harassed! We clearly cannot recommend this restaurant because of the service!!!

The restaurant has an Asian feel, not typically Japanese. The location is okay, but you have to be aware that it's a restaurant. The menu offers many delicacies, and I ordered a Japanese beer (Sapporo), miso soup, a sushi platter from the evening special, baked banana with matcha ice cream, and a coffee. The quality was very good; the sushi rice was even still warm. Instead of an evening special, I would have preferred a standard price with slightly larger portions. The soup could have been a bit more substantial, although it was very tasty. I'm not hungry; I could have handled a bit more. The service is very good. Very polite, attentive, and quick. The price of €34 is reasonable. You simply can't serve a meal like this for €20 anymore. The ambiance is okay, but the chairs are a bit hard and have very straight backs. Another negative point is that they only accept cash. I happened to have plenty of cash with me; I'm usually a card payer. I'll come back again and try the warm platters. They looked very good, too.
