Apparently inflation has taken full effect, overpriced dishes that don't justify the price in terms of taste (food didn't taste good). Furthermore, when paying, you noticed that you ordered drinks at the beginning that you didn't get. Not recommended

The store is terrific through and through. The ingredients are fresh and of quality. In addition, the friendliness of the staff is surprisingly welcoming.

We were here yesterday to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Unfortunately a totally disappointing evening. The service was absolutely substandard and consisted of two completely overwhelmed young ladies without any system or service orientation. Three of our dishes came quickly, the sushi plate an hour later. The drinks didn't come at all, only after multiple orders. The food was rather mediocre, we ended up waiting over half an hour for the bill and then received a receipt with countless bookings and cancellations, completely confusing and unusable. The whole evening was a waste of money because it wasn't exactly cheap. We would have liked to eat and drink more, but that wasn't possible. When we kindly pointed out the circumstances, we received a shrug of the shoulders, nothing more. This restaurant definitely saw the last of us!

Unfortunately I'm not as enthusiastic as the other reviews describe. I ordered bowls - but 2/3 of them had rice and it was delicious, yes, but half of them only had rice. Mango was extremely hard not ripe. Drinks were expensive. I ordered Tako Yaki and asked how many balls were in a portion - the answer was 4. I got 2 balls for the hefty price of 6.90 euros and unfortunately I didn't get them, instead of Japanese mayo I had something similar to curry mayo. I couldn't taste the octopus in it either. When I complained, I actually received an apology saying that the service was new and not well informed and stole a 5% discount on the Tako Yaki only. We won't come again!!!

I always have it delivered to me via Lieferando once a month. Extremely good and the delivery driver was also very nice.

Very very tasty food! The sushi have a lot of fish and you can taste them fresh and quality!!. The duck osta I one of our favorites. We always like to come back. The delivery service is also good, it just took a little longer than stated but perhaps due to the size of the order 🤗

Unfortunately not recommended. As a sushi lover you can say that the sushi here is really not good. The fried food was like mush, it wasn't at all crispy on the outside, just mush. The other Inside Outside rolls and makis taste unappetizing and fall apart when you grab them with chopsticks. Won't order here again.

I absolutely loved the restaurant! The sushi was fresh, creative and tasted like a dream. The selection is large and there is something for every taste. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I'll definitely be back!

I discovered the restaurant by chance just a few weeks ago and have ordered several times since then. The food you get there for this price is really unbeatable and really delicious! I can only recommend it if you like eating sushi. It's best to order directly via the website then it's super quick.

Food is delicious, but the same problem every time. We order an hour in advance so that the food is still over 30 minutes late. You have to call yourself every time and ask where the food is. Why do you have to provide a telephone number?

Ordered 4 dishes online, 2 of which were chicken in curry. Both people who had the curry suffered from stomach cramps and diarrhea afterwards! After informing Eat Japan, no reaction whatsoever! Not recommended! Never again!

If I hadn't been sick for two days... ... Duck with fried noodles, supposedly glutamate-free. I don't want to describe my nausea here. My wife had Premium Mix: these are two different rolls. Yummy? It works. Did anyone have a good day? Why is something like this rated well?

After ordering online, I waited 75 minutes for the food to be delivered. At no time was it clear when the food would arrive. In addition, it was not possible to contact us by telephone because the line was permanently busy for a long period of time. Since after 90 minutes there had still been no delivery, I canceled the order by email. Actually the food came after 120 minutes. I sent the supplier away along with the food because we had taken care of something else in the meantime. Very annoying.

We ordered there again today via Lieferando. Last time we waited over 3 hours (55 minutes were stated). Today we thought we would give it another chance. At Lieferando the specified time was 20-45 minutes. After 1.5 hours and 18 missed calls to the restaurant (which was always busy or no one answered), we picked up the food ourselves despite paying delivery costs. When asked, the service staff said: “Better call next time!” However, the quality of the food is quite good.

You can eat really good and cheap Asian food there. Tasty and quick!

Excellent sushi again! Since EatJapan unfortunately doesn't deliver to Kürten, I'm happy to take the 20 minute drive to pick it up! EatJapan also USUALLY offers a 10% discount for this. A fair deal for an order of €51.50. Yesterday, despite asking twice and referring to my own website, I was refused this discount on the grounds that the computer was broken. I then decided to leave it at that and not let the boss come to me... In the end everything was super tasty, but unfortunately there was a slight bland aftertaste.

The “fried” rice was not fried. It was more of a mud mess. Also, the delivery was an hour late. Will not order here again.

Scheinbar hat aktuell ein Pächterwechsel stattgefunden. Wir waren vom „alten“ Eat Japan bisher sehr begeistert sind aber vom heutigen Besuch mehr als enttäuscht. Die ältere weibliche Servicekraft bemüht sich, wirkt aber völlig überfordert. Ihr Ton wirkt dadurch unhöflich. Wir bekommen einen Streit zwischen ihr und Gästen mit, die daraufhin erbost das Lokal verlassen. Aufs Essen, das qualitativ schlechter ist als bisher gewohnt, müssen wir viel zulange warten. Einzig die Sushi ( 8‘ Stück) waren lecker. Die Getränke erhalten wir erst nach mehrmaligem Nachfragen. Wir sind auf jeden Fall das letzte Mal im Est Japan Bergisch Gladbach gewesen…schade!

I can only advise against it. The food is delicious, but the shop was EMPTY and no one knew what they were doing. Order not found, waited 85 minutes for the food - drove there and then the pickup time was significantly delayed in the middle. You get the feeling that NO ONE really knows what they're actually doing. Was very angry and will never order again. My evening plans were ruined because of the massive delay. Then they call you twice at 10:30 p.m. at night... unbelievable!

Wir waren spontan zu zweit an einem warmen Samstag Abend dort und haben auf der Terrasse Platz genommen, da die Temperatur dort am besten auszuhalten war. Leider war das Ambiente dort schrecklich öde und lieblos. Zwischen den Platten wuchs das Unkraut, zwischen den beiden Terrassen ein Graben ohne Bepflanzung, dahinter der Parkplatz ebenso öde. Die Qualität der Zutaten war sehr gut, jedoch eintönig und lieblos zusammengestellt auf der gemischten Platte für zwei Personen. Avocado mit Fisch und Fisch mit Avocado. Der Sushireis leider ungewürzt beziehungsweise zu wenig gewürzt. Die Bedienung war sehr zügig und sehr freundlich. Der Preis war recht hoch, schade für den schönen Sommerabend, den wir besser woanders verbracht hätten.

Wir waren spontan im EatJapan und waren sehr zufrieden. Sowohl die Reisgerichte als auch das Sushi sind sehr lecker. Auch das Personal war sehr freundlich. Wir waren seit dem ersten Besuch dann noch mehrmals dort, und jedes mal wurden wir nicht enttäuscht. Das EatJapan ist zu unserem Lieblingsrestaurant geworden.

Gastrointestinal after eating sushi. We were there on December 30th. went to eat sushi at Eat Japan and then had a gastrointestinal infection. We can exclude food from our own household. We then wrote Eat Japan an email and explained the health problems. Unfortunately, the management has not yet deemed it necessary to at least answer us.

In der Umgebung definitiv mein Favorit in Sachen Sushi. Schön angerichtete Speisen und eine lecke Miso Suppe. Die Auswahl ist üppig. Wer kein Sushi mag für den gibt es diverse Alternativen; beispielsweise Bowls. Der Service ist freundlich und meisten such sehr fix. Wenn man draußen sitzt kann es sein, dass man man länger auf den Service warten muss aber auch das kann man meiner Meinung nach verkraften. Wer es eilig hat geht rein und fragt nach der Rechnung.

According to the Michelin Guide: This restaurant is worth a visit. Luckily we still live in the neighborhood so we don't have to travel far. The sushi is outstanding, always fresh and very well prepared. But all other warm dishes can also be recommended. The fried noodles, the beef and and and. Top address if you want to go out for Japanese food. The price-performance ratio is also totally right here. I am always thrilled with the store. Keep it up, see you soon.

Brought a lot out of the old restaurant. Were always nice, the food was great and sufficient for us. Price-performance ratio is completely fine. (Especially during this time) The seating inside is a bit uncomfortable for a longer period of time.

Bestes Sushi in Town! Wir lieben Sushi und haben schon einige in GL und Köln ausprobiert, doch Eat Japan hat das Beste! Es ist immer super frisch und mega lecker. Egal ob zum Liefern bestellt oder dort essen: es geht immer flott und immer top Qualität. Bei der online Bestellung steht was von Lieferzeit 60 Minuten, es kam immer schneller (wohnen allerdings nicht so weit weg). Das Restaurant ist sauber und das Ambiente angenehm, Service immer freundlich und hilfsbereit wenn man Fragen hat. Wir gehen gerne hin und bestellen auch regelmäßig. Absolut zu empfehlen 👍

Ich war 2 mal im November hier essen, zu 4 und zu 2 Personen. Beide Male war das Essen super lecker und frisch. Besonders toll fanden wir die Sushi New style inside-out. Aber auch die warmen Hauptspeisen und Getränke waren top. Die Bedienung war sehr nett. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Beim zweiten Essen kamen die warmen Hauptspeisen, bevor wir das Sushi aufgegessen hatten. Im Nachhinein aber positiv, da wir das Sushi mit nach Hause nehmen konnten und so noch später essen konnten.

Das Sushi war lecker, kann man nichts sagen. Leider hat die Lieferung nicht geklappt und wir haben 2 Stunden gewartet und erst nach dem wir anriefen ist dies aufgefallen. Der Mann am Telefon war sehr nett, aber bei einem doch preisintensiven Fastfood wie Sushi leider, auch wenn die Gründe verstehe! Nicht okay.

Wir bestellen dort immer Poke Bowls - und ich muss sagen... SOO LECKER. Das letzte Mal habe ich die Bowl mit Ente bestellt und die Ente war perfekt! Wer Mal was anderes als Pizza oder so bestellen möchte - EMPFEHLUNG!!

Ein tolles japanisches Restaurant mit gutem Sushi und vielen anderen Gerichten. Wir waren zweimal in kurzer Zeit hier und beides Mal hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Es gibt sogar einen tollen Biergarten und hinter dem Gebäude einen großen Parkplatz.

Das Essen von Eat Japan verspricht was der Name sagt. Auf jeden Fall ist die Qualität gut. Wir gehen gerne dahin um Sushi oder eine leckere Bowl zu Essen.

Bei Lieferando ins Hotel bestellt. Sushi und Nudelgericht waren sehr gut und lecker. Auf Zusatzangabe bei der Bestellung wurde nicht eingegangen (Erdnusssauce zu den Nudeln). Wurde auf die Minute genau geliefert und der Bote war freundlich.

Leckere japanische Fusion Küche, wo man eine Bowl, gebratenen Reis oder Nudeln, aber auch Sushi essen kann. Die Bedienung ist freundlich, die Preise moderat. Auch Vegetarier finden hier etwas. Es gibt Parkplätze und eine Terrasse.

Wir haben schon mehrmals vegan bestellt. Immer alles top gewesen. Auf Änderungswünsche wird Rücksicht genommen. Gute Qualität der Lebensmittel.

Egal ob man vor Ort isst, zum mitnehmen bestellt oder online über Lieferando bestellt, dass essen ist immer frisch, geschmacklich super und optisch ansprechend. Das Personal ist zuvorkommend und immer freundlich. Die Preise sind mehr als zufriedenstellend und angemessen für das, was man bekommt. Meine Empfehlung, wenn man nicht weiß, was man möchte: Der Maki-Mix. Da hat man von allem etwas (40x maki Rollen) ist danach satt und hat nicht das Gefühl, dass man überfüllt ist.

Irgendwas mit Asien….. Wenn Chinesen ein japanisches Restaurant führen/aufmachen, darf man sich über nichts wundern. Der Service war schnell (Vorspeise und Hauptgericht kamen im Anstand von 2 Minuten), aber geschmacklich war es nur ok. Da lohnt sich doch wirklich die Fahrt nach Köln zum „richtigen Japaner“

Leckere japanische Gerichte, in einem ungezwungem, gemütlichem Ambiente, mit freundlichem, gutem Service. Wir hatten Shusi, Bowles und gebratene Nudeln. Alles war liebevoll angrichtet und sehr schmackhaft. Meine Bowle mit Thunfisch, Lachs und Garnelen war köstlich und eine Portion zum sattessen. Preise sind absolut in Ordnung und fair. Wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder und können Eat Japan empfehlen. Vielen Dank für die Bewirtung.

Das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Die Karte ist vielfältig. Neben Sushi werden auch warme Gerichte und Bowles angeboten. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und schnell. Das Restaurant scheint noch relativ neu zu sein. Alles frisch renoviert und sehr nett eingerichtet. Absolut zu empfehlen.
