Eat Happy in Barntrup

It's always tasty and the staff is always friendly.

After a long day, we treated ourselves to pizza and pasta from Pizzeria Italia in Barntrup as a reward. Although I had to wait a bit for pickup after driving through beautiful sunsets, that was a good sign - the food is obviously very popular here! The service was extremely friendly and the dishes were definitely worth it. I chose pasta with cream sauce, peas, fresh mushrooms and other delicious ingredients. The noodles were wonderfully flavorful and exactly as you would imagine: real comfort food! My companion chose a Pizza Tonno, which was crispy and generously topped – exactly how a classic old-school pizza should be. A special highlight on the menu was the fried calzone for just six euros. This brought back memories of my youth at the Pyrmont Christmas market. Deep-fried pizza, lots of cheese and ham – the epitome of hearty soul food! I couldn't resist and took one with me to heat up later in the air fryer. Perfect youth memory deluxe meal! Overall, the pizzeria offers an authentic, family atmosphere and delicious food at unbeatable prices (9 euros on average). A small but fine family business that is definitely worth a visit. Conclusion: A real dream for pizza and pasta lovers – 5 out of 5 calzones!

I was there with several people and the food was good and warm enough. At first the drinks came very quickly and when the restaurant got fuller, unfortunately it took a long time. Nevertheless, I was very satisfied. I had the ouzo plate. Unfortunately, because there was an event in the store that evening, you couldn't order any sauce with it and the dish was a little dry.
