The restaurant "DUY Asian Specialties" is located in a beautiful little building in Remchingen-Wilferdingen. The decor is authentically Asian on the one hand, yet very cozy on the other. In fact, there are more tables inside the building than you'd expect from the outside. Service: The waitress also had a very authentic, calm, but very friendly manner. She answered our amateurish questions about the spiciness in such a way that we were able to roughly estimate whether our mouths were on fire or whether some flavor was still coming through. - 5/5 Food: DUY offers hot pot dishes, and we decided to try them. The dishes are divided into the categories "slightly spicy," "spicy," and "very spicy." I'm not one for spicy food regularly, but I've been able to cope with "spicy" very well. The spiciness levels are adjusted accordingly to European standards. I opted for the duck with green curry from the hot pot and was very satisfied with the taste. The curry was one of the best I've ever eaten. The duck was so good quality that I could have eaten a double portion. Absolutely top shelf! - 5/5 Value for money: I'll keep it relatively short. A large Coke and a hot pot dish for a total of under €20. - 5/5 Conclusion: Even though DUY isn't exactly close to where I live, I'll be back with my family. It was simply too good. - 5/5

We really enjoy eating here and occasionally pick up food to take home. It is a small family business that also caters to special requests such as vegan and gluten-free. The people in service speak perfect German, know all the dishes and their components by heart and are therefore incredibly good at giving advice if you have intolerances. They serve very good quality and at reasonable prices. The ambience is fine. The selection is large and you can always find something. The dishes are prepared without glutamate!

I can't understand the occasional negative reviews for good reason. I've been eating here for several years whenever I feel like Asian food and everything has always been great and, above all, very cheap. I pay €8 for a vegetarian main course and the portion fills me up (I weigh 86kg and 180cm, and I do a lot of exercise, which means I have a high calorie requirement and can eat more than average). A few years ago I spent 6 months traveling in South-East Asia, including 2 months in Thailand and 2 months in Vietnam and the food here tastes absolutely authentic! The food really tastes at least as good as there and the prices are absolutely cheap for a restaurant in Germany. I'm always positively surprised by the price-performance ratio, even though I've been eating here for at least 5 years. People who don't like it here should perhaps ask themselves whether they actually like Asian cuisine or whether they would rather stick to schnitzel and fries. Anyone who hasn't eaten here yet and is thinking about it: I definitely recommend it! Here’s to hopefully many more years to come! Keep it up!

Food 1+ with stars, if you're looking for good Asian food or a refreshing beer, Duy is the right place for you. The waitresses are super friendly and happy to accept individual requests. I have been a guest there every Thursday for 2 years and have always been completely satisfied. Addendum, 09/29/20: We have been a guest for 3 years now and the quality and hospitality has not diminished in any way. On the contrary, money has been invested in a beautiful beer garden and the restaurant has generally been refreshed Here’s to another year. Addendum, 07/09/24 There every Thursday for 7 years now and you are still treated impeccably and the quality has not diminished. The interior has also been renovated somewhat, which proves that Duy is constantly improving 😁 Ps: Beer prices have hardly been increased, keep it up 👍

Very tasty food, great service and a fair price. We have been coming regularly for 2 years and are always thrilled.

That was the first but also the last time that I got food here. The spring rolls were rich in fat and had hardly any filling in them. I had the taste of stale fat in my mouth throughout. Even the sweet and sour sauce was anything but edible, it had hardly any taste and was runny like water! Very unfortunate. Even the frozen morning rolls from the store taste better.

As always, super good. Has the best crispy duck I've ever eaten. It's really crispy on the outside and yet juicy. The sauces are balanced, not over-seasoned and everything is freshly prepared. Today I had this Vietnamese salad bowl, great in summer, not too heavy and very tasty. The kitchen is visible and everything is clean. The service is very nice and accommodating. The prices are fair.

So this time it was really underground. My husband and I both had a very bad stomach upset including a sleepless night. Unfortunately I can't say what it was. I suspect old fat or not fresh poultry. Possibly some additive that we reacted to.

Friendly service. Everything okay..

We're not regulars, we just go there every now and then. I always eat duck. But now it's over. It seems to me that the duck breast is cut in half. What is actually served is the fatty skin with some meat underneath. In the future I'll just eat something different. The taste was okay for me but everyone has to find out for themselves.

Das Essen ist super lecker, die Bedienung sehr nett. Die Wartezeit war etwas länger, aber so wussten wir das alles frisch zubereitet wird und es allen anderen auch schmeckt 😉. Den Rest durften wir ohne Murren mitnehmen. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir waren nun schon mehrmals bei DUY und das Essen war immer hervorragend! Unsere Gerichte haben authentisch vietnamesisch geschmeckt. Die Auswahl der Speisen, die man vor Ort verzehren kann, ist sehr viel größer als zum Mitnehmen. Wir empfehlen dort zu essen. Auf Nachfrage kann man auch Hot Pot Gerichte mitnehmen, wenn man passende Gefäße mitbringt. Man soll es telefonisch abklären. Preis angemessen, Bedienung freundlich und Essen übertrifft Erwartung. TOP!

Wir waren zum ersten Mal dort. Telefonisch einen Tisch bestellt und die Dame am Telefon war schon sehr nett und freundlich. Das Essen war super. Der Service sehr höflich, freundlich und aufmerksam. Sehr angenehm. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Inzwischen haben wir auch 1 Mal abgeholt. Pünktlich auf die Minute fertig und wieder sehr lecker. Können wir absolut empfehlen.

Sehr lecker, sehr frisch und nettes Team. Für Karotten extra 50 Cent zu verlangen, ist echt schwach ! Aber trotzdem 5 Punkte von mir, weil das Essen sehr gut schmeckt.

Absolute Spitzenklasse, hier wird alles wird frisch zubereitet und es schmeckt zu 100% authentisch vietnamesisch. Die Bedienung ist auch sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder.

Leider immer kalte Teller. Die Teller sind überhaupt blöd, weil die leckere Soße zum Rand läuft. Räumlichkeit auch recht kühl. Essen super.

Habe Ente von meinem Mann probiert , ich fand diese nicht gut, viel Fett dran. Leider war das Essen bei uns Allen nicht heiß! Sehr sehr schade. Service: Sehr nettes Personal, hat alle Fragen geduldig beantwortet. Lediglich eine Spur "Arroganz" an dem jungen Mann. Ambiente: Dieses gehört dringend einmal renoviert! Nicht zeitgemäß. Kunstblumen in der heutigen Zeit, nein Danke. Zudem diese staubig waren. Kleine, nette Tischdeko wäre wünschenswert gewesen. An dem Tag war recht kühl im Raum, mir war frisch. Nicht angenehm, wenn man gemütlich in Runde da sitzen und essen möchte.

Elias und ich haben Duy's Restaurant erst letzte Woche besucht und waren begeistert! Unser Highlight war der Thai Hotpot mit Erdnusssauce und Ente, es war unglaublich lecker und total aromatisch. Der Service war auch hervorragend, Duy und seine Familie waren sehr gastfreundlich und haben sich Zeit genommen uns zu beraten. Wir können das Restaurant nur empfehlen und werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!
