The restaurant visit is rated. We went to the Hirsch with colleagues for lunch during our lunch break with 10 people. Some special requests, such as a vegan alternative or a gluten-free dish, were handled just as expertly as the rather random ordering from the various menus. We felt we received excellent advice and service, and the food was outstanding! Thank you so much, we'll be back!

Parking, quiet room (I can't comment on the other rooms), my room was pleasant and quiet. Unfortunately, breakfast isn't served directly, but you can help yourself to coffee, cookies, and small cakes at the snack bar around the clock. 👍👏👍

We went to Eat and Talk for lunch. Small menu. Very friendly staff. The food was excellent. It started with a small greeting from the kitchen. We didn't have to wait long for the menu. The taste was impeccable.

Absolute recommendation: The food is very tasty - whether classic or something special, everything goes well. You can tell that people still cook with heart here. The whole team is super friendly and attentive, you immediately feel at home. It's very familiar and cozy, nothing fake. We look forward to it every time – and usually plan our next visit before we leave.

An excellent restaurant with a cozy, comfortable ambiance. The welcome is always very warm and the atmosphere inviting. We always enjoy the extensive menu. All dishes are delicious and of very high quality. Everything tastes wonderful. The matching wine complements each dish perfectly. A look at the wine list is also recommended. The ladies in the waiting room are always attentive, very friendly, and accommodating. Thanks to them, we always have a wonderful time at the Hirsch.

The food was very tasty, but unfortunately, for that price, you shouldn't even go home to the fridge. The side dishes were awful. In short, don't go hungry. A real shame for the price.

We went for lunch. Excellent! We loved our meals; the cuisine is both traditional and gourmet, without unnecessary fuss. Wonderful Riesling. Very good service.

Ein Gasthaus wie es im Buche steht! Toller gastorientierter Service und eine Küche die JRE würdig ist. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Tipp: Reinschmeckermenü mit Weinbegleitung

The restaurant was very, very good; it was delicious. The service there was excellent, as expected. The hotel room was unfortunately rather dated and had a somewhat improvised feel. Breakfast at the hotel would have been nice, and the morning snack was nice, but not sufficient for me as a business traveler. Therefore, the service rating deducted.

A wonderful country inn with delicious food and a good wine list. Friendly and competent service. We felt at home.

Wir waren wieder hier im Restaurant um kulinarische Köstlichkeiten und den top Service zu genießen. Alle Erwartungen wurden erfüllt und übertroffen. Die Kreationen und der Geschmack sind wirklich absolute Spitzenklasse in der Gastronomie. Entschieden haben wir uns diesmal für ein Sommerliches Menü. Für Gaumen und Augen ein Traum.

Amazing restaurant listed at Gault et Millau, awesome dinner, nice people paying a lot of attention to customers. Hotel rooms are basic but ok, however no breakfast was served what is not convenient at all. This is the only reason why only 4 stars, as the restaurant worth 6!

Were there for the first time today to celebrate our 23rd anniversary. To put it briefly: from the greeting from the kitchen, to the starter (once ordered, immediately served on two plates, without expressing this wish) to the main courses and the dessert, presented on a trolley, the hot, tasty espresso with fine praline about a service that was attentive, professional and yet very human...hats off to you. Yes, it doesn't cost a lot, but it was worth it...the place was nice, the toilets were also top notch...5 stars, completely receptive. We are really looking forward to another time...

Solid country hotel. Very friendly staff. The self-service breakfast suited me because I had to leave very early. I haven't tried the cuisine, but it's supposed to be very good.

Hotel is not rated here, only restaurant visit. The food is very tasty, well prepared and of high quality. The ambience, especially the furniture, in the vaulted cellar could be modernized; in some cases the fabric on which you sit is very worn. There was a choice of two menus, which could be combined into 3 to 5 courses, priced between EUR 84 and EUR 124 per person, which meant that adding a soup made up a price difference of EUR 20. The service is very professional but also loud so that everyone always knows what is being served at which table. No WiFi in the vaulted cellar, so when paying by card you have to go upstairs with the bill in your hand, which could be solved better today. The path inside and outside leads between the two kitchens, not ideal. Overall, you can say that the food is very good but not cheap, the menu is a bit inflexible. Organizationally there is potential for improvement. Employees are very committed.

The food is very delicate. Tastefully prepared with a suitable wine recommendation. The service and the ambience were very pleasant and appealing. An experience. A successful evening. I will gladly come again.

Wir waren zum Abendessen im Restaurant. Service war wie immer top. Beim Essen hatten wir uns für ein 5 und ein 4 Gang Menü entschieden. Zuvor einen selbstgemachten Aperitif der sehr lecker war. Im Anschluss dann die verschiedenen Gänge. Sashimi mit Tatar vom Fahrör Lachs, Cocktail von Jakobsmuscheln mit Périgord Trüffelschaum Knuspriger Pancetta , Schaumsüppchen vom Winterspinat mit Perigord Trüffel. Dann Ente mit Apfelrotkohl hausgemacht und geschmälzte Kartoffelknödel sowie Filet vom black Angus mit Berner Rösti und Winterwirsing a la Creme. Als krönenden Abschluss hatten wir dann noch Halbgefrorenes von der Lagenschokolade mit Schokoladenschaum und eingelegte Orangen sowie Vanille Griessknödel mit Lebkuchenschmelze auf Cassisfeigen. Beide Menüs waren wieder ein kulinarisches Highlight. Danke an das gesamte Team.

It's a great place to recharge your batteries and get back on the road

Immer wieder ein kulinarisches Erlebnis. Toll angerichtete Speisen und ein Top Service. Freitag und Samstag gibt es eine Auswahl von 2 Menüs. Diese kann man als 3,4 oder 5 Gänge Menü bekommen. Kann auch untereinander gemischt oder auch ein Zwischengang als Hauptgang genommen werden. Tolle Kombinationsmöglichkeiten.

Service war befriedigend, bestellt offenes Bier, halb volles Glas bekommen, Begründung das Fass ist leer, Sie bekommen nachgeschenkt. Glas wurde nicht nachgeschenkt, bei erneuter Bestellung wurde entgegnet, dass das Fass leer ist und es kein Fassbier mehr gibt. Bei der Hauptspeise war auf der Karte als Beilage handgeschabte Spätzle, gebaucht wurde ohne Kommentar Kartoffelpüree. Auf Nachfrage wurde behauptet, dass Spätzle nicht stimmt. Nach einiger Zeit kamen Spätzle mit dem Wortlaut „ sind Sie jetzt zufrieden“! Für so ein Restaurant in dieser Preisklasse war der Service unterirdisch und die Wortwahl sehr frech.

Der Service war sehr freundlich, jedoch unterbesetzt. Ein toller Abend mit unvergesslichem Ambiente, was man für den Preis erwarten könnte, war es leider nicht. Die Vorspeisen waren gut und sehr klein. Kein Gruss aus der Küche. Die Hauptspeisen sehr übersichtlich. Auf dem Ragout ein halber Rosenkohl. Das Fleisch mittig sehr fettig. Das ganze Essen einfach nicht heiss genug. Wir sagen uns: Am falschen Tag am falschen Ort. Anders können wir es uns nicht erklären.
