Dürnbecker in Gmund a.Tegernsee

Die guten Bewertungen haben nicht gelogen: angenehmes Ambiente, guter Service und noch besseres Essen. Bei der Getränkeauswahl mit verschieden Sprizz-Sorten ist für jeden etwas dabei (alternativ auch ohne Alkohol) und in jede Bowl floss viel Kreativität und Liebe zum Details und der Kaiserschmarrn war sogar für 2 Personen eine üppige Portion aber jeden Cent wert!

Tolles Ambiente, sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal und immer ein Witz auf den Lippen. Auch zu Kindern sind alle sehr herzlich. Wir gehen öfter gehoben essen und hier wird die Messlatte wirklich hoch gelegt. Die Käsespätzle, das Thai Curry und der Kaiserschmarrn waren ausgezeichnet.

Hallo Doreen, hallo Wolfgang, wir waren heute Mittag bei euch. Eigentlich wolltet ihr wegen eures Umzugsstresses von 14 bis 17 Uhr schließen. Als wir kurz vor 14 Uhr ankamen, hatte Wolfgang die Bänke bereits weggeräumt. Natürlich wären wir wieder gegangen – das wäre für uns überhaupt kein Problem gewesen. Doch du, liebe Doreen, wolltest uns nicht hungrig weiterfahren lassen und hast tatsächlich noch für uns gekocht. Wolfgang hat uns währenddessen mit seiner herzlichen, fröhlichen und unglaublich witzigen Art bedient. Was seid ihr nur für großartige und liebenswerte Menschen! Menschen wie euch hätte man sehr gerne im eigenen Freundeskreis. Noch während der gesamten Rückfahrt nach Garmisch-Partenkirchen wart ihr das Gesprächsthema Nummer eins bei uns im Auto. Übrigens: Das Curry mit Hähnchen war unglaublich lecker und perfekt gewürzt! Vielen lieben Dank euch beiden. Ihr habt uns mit eurer Herzlichkeit den Tag versüßt. Wir waren gestern Abend zum ersten Mal in eurem Restaurant und sind restlos begeistert. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich und einladend. Der Service war äußerst aufmerksam, herzlich und schnell.Das Essen war ein absolutes Highlight: Bowle, Currywurst, Kaiserschmarrn, und die leckeren Spritz Getränke. Doreen und Wolfi ihr seit sehr liebe und nette Menschen.Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben eine Radtour von München gemacht und wollten vor der Rückfahrt mit dem Zug noch etwas essen. Ich hatte überhaupt keine Lust für den Dürnbecker den Berg rauf zu fahren. Aber: es war total lecker, sehr freundlicher Service und hat sich gelohnt. Wir hatten einen Flammkuchen (französisch), lecker! Und einen Wassermelonen-feta Salat, sehr lecker. Als der Nachbartisch dann Kaiserschmarrn bekam, wurden wir wegen des Duftes fast schwach :-) War ein perfekter Ausklang mit leckerem Essen.

Wir waren Sonntag zu dritt in diesem super süßen Restaurant essen und wirklich begeistert 🥰 Speisekarte sehr liebevoll gestaltet und super sympathisches und herzliches Personal. Wir hatten Kässpatzen, Flammkuchen und sowas wie gebratene Knödel in Pilz-Weißweinsauce und alles hat unfassbar lecker geschmeckt. Wir können das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen und kommen wieder 👍🏼

Ein wirklich zu empfehlendes Restaurant! Wir waren zu Beginn sowie zum Abschluss unserer Urlaubs zu Gast. Hierbei trifft man auf 2 Inhaber, welche zum einen eine völlig familiäre Atmosphäre in ihrem Restaurant schaffen und ebenso wirklich ausgezeichnetes Essen zu humanen Preisen anbieten. Wir waren zu 100% zufrieden.

Absolute Empfehlung!! Alle Gerichte waren sehr lecker, von dem Frühlingssalat über die Currywurst bis hin zum Flammkuchen. Aber unübertroffen bleibt der der Kaiserschmarrn. Das ist eine echte Empfehlung. Man merkt das Doreen sehr viel Liebe und Herzblut rein steckt. Das merkt man nicht nur am Essen, sondern auch an der ganzen Stimmung, die dieses Restaurant ausstrahlt. 🫶

Wir waren heute Mittag spontan im Restaurant und haben noch ein Platz bekommen. Doreen kocht und ihr Partner bedient freundlich mit Witz und Charme. Das Thaicurry mit Huhn schmeckt super lecker und der Flammkuchen war auch fein. Zu guter letzt teilten wir uns noch ein Kaiserschmarren mit Beeren und Eis …wow…ein Gedicht . Wir waren zum Abschluss unseres Urlaubs zum Abendessen im Dürnbecker zu Gast und waren vollkommen zufrieden. Der Service ist sehr angenehm und das Essen war sehr lecker. Man merkt direkt, dass das Restaurant mir viel Liebe zum Detail und Herzblut geführt wird. Das Essen wird frisch gekocht und die Zutaten waren qualitativ sehr hochwertig.

Kaiserschmarrn ist hervorragend:)

Wir waren hier nach einer Wanderung essen und es ist ein wirklich schönes kleines Restaurant, mit einem schönen Hüttenambiente. Die Preise, entsprechen dem Standard, bei der Nähe zum Tegernsee. Wir wurden superlieb empfangen und auch gleich gut beraten zwecks der Speisen. Die Spargelcremsuppe war mega lecker und danach gabs gut gewürzte Spätzle. Welche mit geil karamelisierten Zwiebeln verzieht, gebracht wurden. Leider konnten wir nach der Hälfte feststellen, dass die Spätzle eindeutig überwürzt waren. Auf bitte der Gastwirten, haben sie lieber gleich ein ehrliches Feedback als hinten herum über einen negativen Post. So hat sich die Köchin auch nicht lumpen lassen und ist persönlich zu uns gekommen um zu probieren woran es liegen könnte. Zu ihrem bedauern, lag es nicht an meinem überemfpindlichen Gaumen, sondern an der frisch geöffneten Gemüsebrühe. Diese weisen scheinbar eine stärkere Würze auf, wenn man die Packung frisch öffnet. Als kleine Entschuldigung, welche nicht nötig gewesen wäre, haben wir noch zwei Kekscookie bällchen mit Eis bekommen. Danke🫱🏻‍🫲🏼

Wunderbare Atmosphäre und ein unglaublich gemütliches Ambiente, in dem man sich sofort wohl fühlt. Doreen und ihr Mann sind tolle Gastgeber, herzlich, aufmerksam und sympathisch. Genau das macht das Dürnbecker so besonders, genau wie die abwechslungsreichen Gerichte auf der Karte, die sehr liebevoll zubereitet und geschmacklich einfach sehr lecker sind. Sehr gute Erfahrung! Das Essen war unfassbar lecker (Spargelcremesuppe, Bärlauchtortelloni und Kaiserschmarrn). Vor allem der Kaiserschmarrn ist ordentlich karamellisiert und super lecker. Zudem ist der Service auch sehr nett und professionell. Weiter so 👍

Absolut nix zu meckern, Currywurst besser als in jeder Currybude. Das zahlreiche Personal, ist absolut freundlich und immer hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Wir haben sogar so silbernes Werkzeug bekommen,und man sagte uns das ist zum Essen damit wir uns die Finger nicht schmutzig machen. Sowas kannten wir bisher nicht😅 Getränke alle auch sehr lecker, besonders das Alkohokfreie Weissbier Wir kimma wieda, aber woan verrat me ned. Bis dahin OIS GUADE

Leckerer Flammkuchen! Besonders toll finde ich, dass es auch mit Dinkelmehl angeboten wird – das vertrage ich sehr gut. Der Service war aufmerksam und das Personal sehr freundlich. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Die Atmosphäre ist super und das Essen fantastisch! Die handgemachten Gerichte waren sehr lecker und wunderschön angerichtet. Meine Kinder haben sich die Spaghetti geteilt und sie waren köstlich – sie haben alles aufgegessen.

Spontan durch Google aufmerksam geworden aufgrund der Suche nach einem Restaurant für Mittagessen. Tolle und gemütliche Atmosphäre, sehr angenehmer Empfang. Essen schmeckte hervorragend. Preislich etwas höher, was aber für diese Region normal ist. Erstaunt über die Geschichte der Betreiberin und wie hier alles mit Liebe eingerichtet wurde. Danke für diesen Moment.

Wir sind eher zufällig im Dürnbecker gelandet. Haben einen tollen Kaiserschmarrn genossen (extra-Wünsche kein Problem), und obwohl wir innerhalb von drei Stunden nur insgesamt drei Getränke hatten (sorry nochmal, nächstes Mal testen wir den Sprizz!), hatten wir zu keinem Moment das Gefühl, dass wir mal zahlen sollten. Der Service war überhaupt ganz wunderbar, zuvorkommend und trotzdem unaufdringlich. Wirklich eine Empfehlung wert, wir werden sicher wieder vorbei kommen. Bei wärmeren Temperaturen kann man übrigens auch gemütlich draußen sitzen, das Ambiente ist gemütlich rustikal. Saubere Toiletten.

Wir hatten hier eine wirklich tolle Familienfeier. Von Essen über hervorragenden Service war alles perfekt und es wurde auf jeden unserer Wünsche eingegangen. Die Kinder wurden direkt mit Spielzeug versorgt und hatten auch total Spaß. Unsere absolute Empfehlung ist der Kaiserschmarrn mit selbst gemachtem Apfelmus. Besides the delicious food – I had the best Kaiserschmarrn I've ever had – the excellent service, and the very cozy atmosphere, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The dishes are freshly prepared, the staff is more than attentive to guests' wishes, and their child-friendliness deserves special mention. It's rare to find a restaurant where everything was so perfect. We will definitely be back.

To cap off our Tegernsee trip, we had a real highlight: a visit to the Dürnbecker in Gmund am Tegernsee. It's been run for years by Doreen Dietel, known from film and television. We received a very warm welcome from Doreen and her partner, Wolfgang. They are truly two very friendly people. Doreen cooks everything fresh herself, with love and great dedication. The restaurant was busy, and I could always peek into the kitchen. It really shows you what she's accomplished, especially considering she cooks there alone. They were very attentive to the wishes of the guests, including the little ones. Wolfgang even specifically asked if the other guests' young daughters were eating with their mothers, so they wouldn't over-season the spaghetti. I have to give them a big thumbs up. And the Kaiserschmarrn we had—my girlfriend with applesauce and me with pistachio cream and vanilla ice cream—simply put, it was absolutely fantastic! 😂 I was glad I hadn't managed to finish him completely, so I still had something left for the night shift. We had great conversations with the two of them and are looking forward to visiting again soon.

We've been there a few times, the food is absolutely delicious. We especially love the Thai curry and the Kaiserschmarrn. They currently have a Christmas version of the latter with things like Stollen – it's sensationally good.

After five years of vacationing in the region, we finally ate here for the first time this year and regret missing it the last few years. A very nice restaurant run by very lovely people, and the food was truly excellent. The Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle) was the best I've had in a long time, and the Flammkuchen (tarte flambée) was also superb. Highly recommended for the area.

You immediately feel right at home at Dürnbecker! The atmosphere is very inviting, and the background music is great. There's plenty to discover inside. The food is truly excellent and always freshly prepared. You can tell that Doreen puts a lot of love and passion into it! She's also always happy to take the time for a friendly chat. Wolfi's service is very attentive and friendly, and he always has a funny remark ready. We've often spent a few hours there, enjoying ourselves and then ending our visit with a delicious Aperol Spritz. We're already looking forward to our next visit to Dürnbecker!

Today we made a detour to Dürnbecker and were absolutely delighted. The Kaiserschmarrn was incredibly delicious. Why can't you give it 10 stars? We stumbled upon the restaurant by chance and were intrigued by the great reviews. We were greeted by a perfectly coordinated duo who delighted our palates so much that we had to come back for another meal the next day! My goodness, it was delicious, and my son got his first autograph in his life from the lovely Doreen Dietel. We had the pleasure of visiting yesterday. Friendly and attentive service (Wolfi), delicious food in a cozy restaurant. Ideal after a hike or a day at the lake. Allow some time for the food to arrive, but it's absolutely freshly prepared by Doreen. We'll be back to enjoy the Kaiserschmarrn.

We went there for coffee in the afternoon. Unfortunately, they were out of cheesecake, so we ordered Kaiserschmarrn instead. It was absolutely delicious. Very crispy and fluffy. Highly recommended.

We were on a three-day short break at Lake Tegernsee and, as big fans of "Dahoam," stopped by Doreen's (two days in a row). The restaurant is very cozy and exceptionally decorated. You immediately feel at home. The food was freshly cooked with love by Doreen herself and was absolutely worthy of a five-star rating. To finish off, we tried Doreen's famous Kaiserschmarren, and we think it was the best in the world! Finally, we would like to mention their exceptional hospitality. Doreen and Wolfi are there for their guests with heart and soul. You feel as if you've always known each other. A birthday chat long after opening hours was a given for them. A truly fantastic restaurant with a very special charm! The style is a bit more unusual, which gives it a special touch – yet the ambiance is pleasantly relaxed and inviting. The service was absolutely top-notch: Our waiter, Wolfi, was super friendly, attentive, and warm – we felt completely in good hands. The Asian rice bowl was a real highlight – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. And the Kaiserschmarrn? Simply divine! The chef's touted creativity was clearly reflected in the dishes, but in this case, the milk foam and seemingly randomly chosen flowers were of little use. A focus on the essential elements of the meal would therefore be advisable.

We ate at Dürnbecker for the first time. The Strammer Max and cheese spaetzle with fried egg and fried onions were absolutely delicious. 👍 The chef, Doreen, really deserves more stars. They also cater to special requests; the Strammer Max was actually on the breakfast menu, and it was no problem getting it for lunch. 👍. The service was very friendly; Wolfi always had a joke on his lips, which we really liked. 👍. The ambiance was very nice and clean. When you come here, you simply feel at home. The atmosphere is human, and the food is freshly prepared with great dedication. My highlight is the Kasierschmarrn (sweet pancake) – it's addictive and incredibly good 😁 It's great that you exist.

I went to Dürnbecker with my mom for lunch today. The great service makes you feel completely at home from start to finish. The food is truly outstanding, so I have to give it a special shout-out! The two of them are a well-coordinated team, and the space itself immediately shows how much work and heart goes into it. So, all in all, a definite recommendation! ❤️👌

It's nice, clean, tidy and the food is very, very tasty. The landlady is particularly nice and we are friends because she is and was a very good actress. Everything there is cooked with heart, soul, spirit and love. The food is so delicious. Come by and have a look at your friend Robert Doll. The food was good. The currywurst was a bit bland for my taste, but the cake was good. The waitress was super nice and friendly, but the lady was just so-so with her colleague (they could have been friendlier, or at least not in front of customers).

We stopped here for lunch when we were arriving to Lake Tegernsee, as we saw that it was having really high reviews. The gentleman that served us was very kind, but that was probably the best thing about the experience. It took more than 30 minutes for the food (beef sandwich and gnocchi special), and the quality was so-so. The gnocchi was very oily but had a nice taste, and the beef sandwich was not great. The portions were not very large if you are hungry - we actually stopped for snacks afterward. The cost for 2 dishes plus 2 drinks and a large still-water was €68 😱 I know the area is touristy and prices are high because of that, but we had several other meals with more food and better quality for less.

The food was delicious. I had the best Kaiserschmarrn I've ever had there. Everything is fresh and homemade, which you can taste. The owners are incredibly kind and friendly.

Yesterday we had a lovely day with Doreen Dietel in the Dürnbecker Cafe/Restaurant at Tegernsee. The food was very tasty, especially the Kaiserschmarrn was really good. It is a place to feel good. They are both very nice and accommodating. We would say, just go and try it out. We'll definitely be back.☺️☺️☺️ LG from Landshut

To be honest, I haven't been there yet because I've been in Mallorca for seven months, but anyone who obviously makes great food and then responds to reviews (unlike Tantris, for example - really bad service) has already earned 5 points with skill, hard work and the right attitude. Maybe I'll celebrate my birthday there in May - I'm looking forward to it.

The food was super tasty, very nice service. I'd love to come back. The spinach dumplings are highly recommended. Doreen does this with her heart and soul, and you can tell.

Yesterday I was at Doreen's with my sister. My sister was there for the first time and, like me, was totally thrilled. Doreen is always really sweet and the food is amazing. Plentiful and tasty And you won't find this atmosphere anywhere else. Keep it up

We were on holiday in Gmund and spent the first few days eating down by the lake. Unfortunately, we only discovered this great restaurant on our last day. It was by far the best meal and the most interesting restaurant we ate at in the Tegernsee region and the prices were fair. We wish we had discovered it earlier and come here from the start. You could taste that everything was cooked and prepared here freshly and with love. We also thought it was great to find pub classics like spinach dumplings or steak alongside Asian dishes on the menu. So there really is something for everyone. 5*** – very happy again!
