Unfortunately, we had to wait an hour for our food. The meat in my tagliatelle Alfredo was undercooked, practically raw. One of the waitresses wasn't very professional; when we asked her when our food would arrive, she said that a larger table (there were six of us) was already there, which was why it was taking so long. Therefore, only two stars. The restaurant itself is very well-equipped and inviting. Visually professional.

We came to the restaurant through "Taste Twelve 2025." In our opinion, it offered poor value for money. The tuna sauce in the vitello tonnato was unfortunately very watered down and lacked flavor. The veal was tasty. Side dishes for main courses must be ordered separately. Very expensive, but the quality is underwhelming. My chicken breast fillet was very dry and tough, which I mentioned later. They acknowledged it. The service was very good, but this was our first and last visit.

I was really looking forward to a nice evening at Due – but even the reservation process was a complete nightmare. Despite emails and several phone calls, I felt more like an unwelcome footnote than a guest who wanted to invest their time and money in this restaurant. The experience continued on-site: no clear direction, no helpfulness, no visible interest in making our visit a positive one. The staff seemed disinterested or overwhelmed – in any case, far from what one should expect as a guest. And then there was something else that topped it all off: they don't accept card payments. In a time when even the corner shop operates without cash, this seems highly questionable and outdated. Especially after the previous chaos, it didn't leave a good impression. In short: A restaurant can forgive many shortcomings – but not feeling unwelcome and poorly treated as a guest. The lack of card payment options, combined with the overall impression, simply doesn't encourage me to plan another evening there. What a waste of time and anticipation.

Despite email, phone call, and confirmation, the reservation couldn't be verified; this is useless. No support was offered to find a solution. Card payment wasn't possible either. We found a better alternative nearby.

Everything has improved so much lately! The food, atmosphere, and service are all good!

A stylish, pleasant, and appealing restaurant. The food, including the appetizer, was absolutely good, but considering the price, it could have been a bit more refined. Lamb wasn't available, even though there were only four main courses besides many pizzas and pastas. The service was very friendly but somewhat chaotic. Two-person tables were very close together, making it quite noisy.

We just ate at the restaurant. The food was okay; we both ordered pizza. The pizza was flavorful, but very greasy and oily. It felt heavy in our stomachs. We complained about the beer and received a replacement. The side salad was poorly made and inedible. It consisted of about 90% bitter leaves. We probably won't be visiting this restaurant again.

Four of us went to Due today. The ambiance is very nice, the chairs were super comfortable, and the waitress was very friendly. We started with an Aperol Passion Fruit Spritz. It was very fruity and fresh. The pasta dishes were delicious and perfectly cooked. The beef fillet was very tender, and the red wine sauce was truly delicious. Unfortunately, contrary to the menu's description, there was no side dish included. We had to pay extra for this (almost €7 for mashed potatoes is really excessive, in my opinion). What a shame! Apparently, they only serve side dishes with the salmon fillet. The dessert was also delicious. We had the pistachio tiramisu, which we highly recommend.

OK...I ate pretty early...so I can't say much about the atmosphere...but my tortelloni with goat cheese, dates, and pine nuts were amazing...the Primitivo (red wine) was at a good temperature...service was friendly and not fake.

Unfortunately, the food didn't blow us away. It tasted good, but we've had better for the price. Nevertheless, it was quick, and the service was attentive, prompt, and extremely friendly. The cap on the water bottle that was brought to the table was already open. That's not what we want. What bothered us most, however, was that the music was a bit too loud, and that different music was playing in the open kitchen at the same time as in the guest area. Unfortunately, that bothered us a bit too much. All in all, it was nice, but there's room for improvement.

Starting with a really nice atmosphere and service thanks to the friendly waitress. Then, seeing the "boss" waiter snap at her in front of guests and grab her arm almost made me lose my temper: Extreme arrogance after being confronted about his mistakes. And during a birthday party, that too!!!! Wine was canceled about 45 minutes after the meal. This resulted in an absolutely unpleasant visit, which was also passed on to the Lindentaler acquaintances. Hiring such a misogynistic "head waiter" is an absolute disgrace for the restaurant. Perhaps his demeanor is appropriate for a kiosk vendor in the spotlight.

Due Köln on Cologne's Lindenthalgürtel is a pleasant Italian restaurant with sophisticated dishes that you won't find at every Italian restaurant. The service is friendly and fast. The value for money is reasonable. You can also eat outside the restaurant—there's a view of the Lindenthalgürtel, which may not be for everyone. The restaurant is cozy and comfortable.

Another "pizzeria" that tries its hand at Neapolitan pizzas. For starters, we had bruschetta. It was simple and, as you can probably tell from the photo, unimpressive. I can make better at home, and for under €10 :D For main courses, we had a pizza with truffles and one with ham and Parmesan. The truffle one was delicious, and the other one was pretty okay. Nothing special. For dessert, we had pistachio tiramisu, which was good. Overall, it was okay, but definitely could be improved.

The food tasted okay – but both pizza and pasta were served lukewarm. The top layer was already cold, as if it had been sitting in the kitchen for ages. When I politely addressed this at the end, the response was, "Sorry, maybe it was because you were sitting outside?" Logic Bingo: - It was a pleasant 23°C outside – not an Arctic vacation, but a normal summer evening. - We ate the food immediately; it couldn't have cooled down that quickly. So, a creative physics lecture instead of problem-solving... Plus the constant smoke from the smoking staff at the next table, who had zero consideration for the guests – after three hours, my nose is still burning. The only bright spot: the panna cotta and tiramisu were delicious – at least they couldn't get cold.

The Parma pizza was okay, but nothing special. The Nutella pizza was good! The atmosphere is nice and, above all, clean.

The food was tasty, but not exceptionally good. The service was unfortunately abysmal. We received an unfriendly greeting. We ordered carpaccio, among other things, but were given grilled carpaccio – unfortunately with the rude comment that there was no other. Well, there is a beef fillet carpaccio listed among the classic appetizers on the menu. Unfortunately, they didn't accommodate. Apparently, when I ordered, they asked if I wanted the grilled carpaccio – but neither my husband nor I heard that. They only offered to bring the classic carpaccio as well – but charged for both dishes – very rude. Well, that's not how you win new customers. We came on a recommendation, but won't do it again and won't share the recommendation. In the store's defense, it must be said that the interior is really beautifully decorated! Final comment on the service: they couldn't even put the tablecloth right side up on the tables. Well, good staff isn't easy to find.

We are completely appalled by the service staff. They spoke to us in a harsh tone and with a completely unenthusiastic attitude. They made disrespectful accusations against us twice. After all the guests around us had been addressed formally, they addressed us informally. They forgot the bread with the appetizer. After we were already in a bad mood, they also forgot to pay. Conclusion: The food was incredibly delicious, but we won't be returning to this restaurant again because of this kind of treatment.

I always take something from the boss's recommendation and so far I haven't been disappointed. 👍 the pizza was great and the pasta too. Recently I had the truffle pasta with beef strips. Well attended Italian restaurant, the food tasted very good. You can eat pizza and pasta very well here. In my opinion, the tables were just a bit squished so that it was a bit cramped at the tables for two.

Food was good, overall overpriced, service was also ok until we complained that there was an event taking place parallel to the normal service, in connection with which women in their late 30s started reporting on their gynecological problems via microphone (i.e. clearly audible and drowning out all other conversations) at 9 p.m. Doesn't work at all. Either you accept an event of this type exclusively or you open the restaurant to the general public. Apparently they had informed us beforehand - not us. It was interesting that other guests then gossiped about us. One star for the food, everything else is completely wrong.

We spent a cozy evening here during the week. The pizza was very good, but the truffle pasta didn't blow your mind. All in all a good restaurant. However, there is a slight deduction when it comes to price-performance.

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right. In addition, the menu on Google Maps gives the wrong price impression. One of the cheapest pasta dishes with a simple tomato sauce with burrata at €16.90. Unfortunately, I can't share the largely very good reviews.

We are almost regular guests at Due and usually take the antipasti plate and pizza. Both are always delicious, especially the pizza is unbeatable. Service was super friendly even when the store was full. Then the noise level can also be quite high. Wines are expensive, so in my opinion the price-performance ratio is not right. I think it's a bit of a shame. Otherwise everything is great!

Highly priced but great! Food was really fantastic. We had pasta and salmon fillet. Pizza bread in advance was also delicious. Service was very attentive and quick. Ich war kürzlich mit meiner Familie im Due und kann das Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen. Der Abend war rundum gelungen, und sowohl das Ambiente als auch das Essen haben uns begeistert. Wir haben uns für klassische italienische Gerichten entschieden: Pasta, Pizza und Salat. Die Pasta war perfekt al dente, mit einer reichen, aber nicht zu schweren Sauce, die die frischen Zutaten wunderbar zur Geltung brachte. Besonders die Lasagne war ein Highlight – reichhaltig, aber nicht überladen, und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Die neapolitanische Pizza war ebenfalls hervorragend. Der Teig war schön knusprig, und die Beläge frisch und hochwertig. Besonders die Margherita mit ihrem intensiven Tomatengeschmack und dem aromatischen Mozzarella war ein Genuss. Auch der Salat war frisch und knackig, perfekt als Vorspeise oder leichte Beilage. Ein weiterer Höhepunkt des Abends war der Primitivo, den wir zum Essen gewählt haben. Das Personal war aufmerksam und freundlich, und obwohl das Restaurant gut besucht war, fühlten wir uns immer gut umsorgt. Die Atmosphäre war gemütlich und einladend – wie man es sich von einem italienischen Restaurant erwartet. Alles in allem war es ein wunderschöner Abend, und wir werden sicherlich wiederkommen, um noch mehr aus der italienischen Küche zu entdecken. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Haben das Restaurant empfohlen bekommen und wurden absolut nicht enttäuscht. Im ersten Gang hatten wir Vittlo Tonnato und Carpaccio beide Vorspeisen kann man einfach nicht besser machen. Im Hauptgang hatten wir Pasta , diese waren ebenfalls sehr gut und al dente!!! Wir sind des öfteren im Fine dining unterwegs auch in Italien und wir waren uns einig das hier alles gestimmt hat. Weiter so 👍🏼

Wir hatten letzte Woche unsere Betriebsfeier im Due und es war ein perfekter Abend mit tollen Drinks, leckerem Essen, gemütlich/modernem Ambiente und erstklassigem Service! The shop is beautifully decorated and offers nice seating even for large groups. We were there during the week and had Pasta Alfredo and Pizza Tartufo. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the mushroom cream sauce was very tasty and perfectly seasoned with spices. The pizza with truffle salami was perfectly baked, not too crispy and not too soft. The truffle aroma was super subtle and still intense enough. The drinks (Rhubarb Aperol Spritz) were also simply delicious. If you want to try a new Italian, you should definitely try “Due” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had my best pasta dish ever there yesterday. The pizzas looked very good too. The atmosphere is modern and cozy. I can only recommend it and will definitely try the other dishes as well. The restaurant can be reached on foot in a few minutes from the Cologne University Hospital.

The pizza is classic Neapolitan from the charcoal oven, the service is very friendly and accommodating. You have to take a little time, it doesn't happen that quickly, but it tastes even better. The prices are also more than pleasant.

Ich habe beim Due für eine größere Lieferung angefragt. Obwohl dies nicht zum „normalen Angebot“ des Due zählte, bekam ich sehr freundlich regelmäßig Rückmeldung über den aktuellen Stand und alles wurde möglich gemacht, so wie in meiner Vorstellung. Alle waren von den Pizzen (egal womit belegt) begeistert und verlangten nach Namen und Adresse des Due. Bis demnächst vor Ort im Restaurant :)

Everything was good, food, waiting time, choice of drinks, ambience, cleanliness. The service is really outstanding. The restaurant was almost completely full (I was lucky to get a table on a Tuesday evening), about 20 tables with an estimated 50 seats occupied. Nathalie was extremely friendly, warm and in a good mood, didn't show the stress (which was definitely there) and had the entire store under control on her own. Very impressive! In addition, the prices are very fair; Food and especially drinks are really reasonably priced. This was my first visit and definitely not the last! Thank you!

Hallo erstmal, ich war mit meiner Schwester zu Besuch in Köln. Wir sind durch einen Zufall in dieses tolle Restaurant gekommen. Die location ist ein Traum. Das Essen ist mega mäßig gut. Wir hatten pasta die soooo lecker und einzigartig war das wir beschlossen haben den nächsten Tag wieder zu kommen. Wir haben eine Pizza gegessen die auch einfach fantastisch war. Es wird alles selbst gemacht und es sind frische Zutaten was wir mega toll fanden. Ganz zu schweigen vom Personal ,das war erstklassig.Der Laden befindet sich in Lindenthal und ist ein Besuch wert, würde nirgendwo wo anders hingehen. Wenn wir mal wieder in der Nähe sein sollten ,gehen wir dort definitiv wieder hin. Ganz liebe Menschen. Es grüßen die celler Eileen und Sabrina

We were looking for a pizzeria in Cologne and found a really great rarity! The location was very modern! One bite and there was a taste explosion on the tongue. A treat for the palate! The pizza was exactly the right amount of time in the oven and very tasty! Of course the other dishes were also delicious, like a dream! The wine was also super enjoyable as was the pistachio tiramisu. We have rarely had such a good Italian! Super recommended! We'll be back!☺️
