Due Fratelli Ristorante in Bremen

Parmesan pasta for €40 and an Aperol for €12.90. At these high prices you can expect a lot. Here, however, it is not true from front to back. The pasta barely had any sauce (this couldn't be complained about since the waiter never came by to ask if the food was OK). For the starter for two, two plates were brought over long after we had finished them. A table next to us had to get plates independently because the service wasn't there. It's a shame, I've heard so many good things about Due Fratelli. After my visit, I unfortunately have to say that this is the worst restaurant in Bremen.

Very tasty and varied 12-course menu with great value for money in a great atmosphere. We felt very pampered from a culinary point of view and it was a special experience in this historically modern environment. Highly recommended. The menu also included a totally delicious Cremont. Chef Dennis, one of the owners, attaches great importance to the quality of his products and puts everything fresh on the plate. His brother ensures excellent service in the restaurant and so the restaurant “Due Fratelli” lives up to its name. We have already planned our next visit.

My wife and I ate spaghetti with shrimp and enjoyed the seasonal espresso martini - simply outstanding! The service was impeccable as always. Thank you for this wonderful evening. P.S.: The prices are high – not for everyone. A suggestion for improvement: One Better placement of the louder tables would make the atmosphere even more pleasant. We'll definitely be back!

A wonderful place for true lovers of Italian cuisine! Every dish is a little masterpiece, prepared with a lot of love. The cozy atmosphere, attentive staff and authentic flavors make the Due Fratelli restaurant a real highlight. I'll definitely be back!

Ambience nothing earth-shattering, rather cold and uncomfortable, sat in the connecting room. Eating...this is the wrong place to fill up, rather to enjoy. Negative: Dishes were cleared away even though some people were still eating at the table, that's not possible! Positive: I had the best beef tenderloin ever!!! Maybe something negative: the prices!!!

More appearance than reality. After our visit to the restaurant last Friday, we really don't understand how this place ended up among the top 100 Italian restaurants. First of all, the ambience in a vaulted cellar in a prime city center location is very positive. The shop is nicely lit and has a cozy, modern interior. The food is in the upper price segment but of mediocre quality. The pasta made from the Parmesan body and truffles was at the limit of edible due to the heavy salting during preparation at the table. For over €40 per proton you should also expect more truffles. The way the food was presented was completely appropriate. The service was friendly, but there were some problems with understanding due to language barriers. We also felt that our ability to criticize was somewhat limited. All in all, we wouldn't want to repeat this experience again.

The food was very tasty and the chef met my taste exactly. Unfortunately, the service was very arrogant and made you feel uncomfortable. I think just because you're young and don't wear business clothes you don't have to behave like that. P.S. Salt wasn't even offered, which my companion didn't like.

The “Due Fratelli” impressed us that evening with an outstanding culinary experience, which was accompanied by excellent service. As soon as we entered the restaurant we were warmly welcomed and professionally shown to our table. Right from the start, the service shined with friendliness and expertise. What's particularly noteworthy is that not only were we presented with the menu, but we were also asked exclusive questions about our preferences in order to tailor the experience to us. I have already visited many high-class restaurants in Bremen, including renowned locations such as “The Grill” and other top addresses. But the “Due Fratelli” far exceeded all of these experiences. The evening began with a Vitello Tonnato, which was a highlight not only in terms of taste but also visually. The presentation was elegant and the taste was unique - the best thing I've eaten in Bremen so far. The second course, a pasta prepared in a large parmesan loaf and garnished with real truffles, was prepared right in front of us. The freshness of the ingredients and the artful preparation made the moment special. The main course was an Australian steak, perfectly cooked and served with light vegetables. The meat was of the highest quality and tender, while the vegetables complemented the flavor harmoniously. The crowning finale was a tiramisu, which also left nothing to be desired. The different courses were perfectly coordinated and the craftsmanship of the kitchen was noticeable in every detail. Service throughout the evening was attentive without being intrusive, meeting all of our needs in terms of cleanliness, timing and friendliness. All in all, “Due Fratelli” offered a dining experience that was at the highest level in terms of both taste and service. It was undoubtedly the best meal I have ever enjoyed in Bremen - in a class of its own and absolutely recommended!

Das Essen war hervorragend, allerdings wirkte die Bedienung etwas unangenehm und arrogant. Ein junger Kellner, vermutlich aus Spanien, war jedoch sehr freundlich und professionell zu uns.

Sehr schick, aber nicht unangenehm und das Essen ist einfach absolut großartig! Ein Geheimtipp ist das Tiramisu - das habt ihr bestimmt noch nirgends so lecker gegessen ;) Der Service ist hervorragend. Auf den Hauptgang haben wir einen Tick länger warten müssen, aber das leckere Essen und ein Schnaps aufs Haus haben das wieder gut gemacht. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Wenn ich in der Nähe von Bremen bin ist das Due Fratelli ein fester Bestandteil meiner Reisepläne. Fantastisches Essen, gepaart von sehr gutem und herzlichen Service. Ich kann jedem Gast das Überraschungsmenü ans Herz legen. Ich bin jedes Mal überrascht und begeistert worden.

Eine Flasche Pellegrino steht auf dem Tisch… und später für 10 Euro auf der Rechnung, Der Wein für 12 Eiro im Laden steht mit 44 auf der Rechnung. Zu zweit mit Kind zwei Vospeisen und halbe Nudeln, 1 Dessert und 1 Pizza (21 Euro…) für 300 Euro. Faktor zwei zu viel… Service sehr freundlich, sichtlich bemüht, noch mehr auf die Rechnung zu bekommen. Essen ist durchschnittlich. Antipasti üppig aber teilweise falsch temperiert, Mozzarella geschmacklos und Zucchini ebenfalls. Garnele sehr gut. Vitello Tonnato mit viel show, aber nix besonderes und extrem wenig. Pizza ok aber gibt es eher besser als schlechter. Nudeln aus dem Käselaib schmecken wirklich gut, Trüffeln allerdings ohne jedweden Ztüffelgeschmack. Fazit: Abzocke!!!!

Die Qualität der Speisen war überdurchschnittlich, allerdings ließ der Service sehr zu Wünschen übrig. Zwischen Vorspeise und Hauptgang lagen 40Minuten, benachbarte Tische wurden nicht abgeräumt und zum Zahlen bin ich aufgrund Nichtbeachtung an den Tresen gegangen.

The best Italian in Bremen. Super nice, friendly hosts. The food was on point, there was really nothing to complain about. Very rarely eaten so deliciously. A 3 course menu was ordered. The starter, main course and dessert were so delicious. 2 order Starter (finally a starter that didn't just consist of eggplant, zucchini and peppers) 👍 Main course: Spaghetti Bolognese. This was also very, very tasty. Price performance was totally right. So we'd love to come back. Keep it up 👏

The pasta is very delicious. High price but if you have an offer with the fork it is worth it. The waiter who served us spoke Spanish and was very pleasant. It is located in the center and when you leave you can take a walk around the surroundings. If you like Italian food you can't miss it.

We each had the parmesan pasta and an aperitif, it was all delicious, but not much and really very expensive. The pasta could have been more and could have used more parmesan, unfortunately we were hungry again 1.5 hours later or didn't even get full. For a total of 42€ p. P. I expect more.

Unfortunately, the normal portion of pasta from the Parmesan wheel is becoming smaller and smaller, but at least the price is rising... Unfortunately, it is no longer as “cheesy” as it was a few months ago. I'm aware that prices are rising everywhere, but €29.50 for a small portion of pasta that really doesn't fill you up & without any extras - that's out of proportion.

Wouldn't go there anymore. The pizza menu was supposedly wet, then told us four pizzas that were overpriced. Drinks are also overpriced. You should definitely get the drinks menu. Just a rip off

Rude service, vegetarian dishes were only available at an additional cost that day. Small portion, the tomato sauce was very standard. Too expensive for that.

A very nice restaurant, relaxed atmosphere, top service

Nice place in the center. Operation okay, solid and clear, but no more than that. Food is tasty. The only downside is the high prices. Otherwise fine!

I went to dinner with my family. And it was very tasty. And were served very nicely.

The stay for an open air concert was very disappointing. At 6 p.m. there was no bread with the starter plate or the cheese plate. This was not communicated before ordering to give us the opportunity to order something else. There was also no compensation e.g. B in the form of a free drink. I'm used to different/better prices. The dishes themselves were very tasty. But the bread was missing.

Calcio e Pepe was okay, unfortunately a very small portion, the cabonara had already set and was therefore very dry. Bremen water costs 6.50 for a liter, after a quick inquiry we learned that it was just tap water, which I find exceptionally inappropriate. All in all, my last visit to this restaurant.

Wir waren in Februar 2019 schonmal bei Due Fratelli in der alten location. Damals wurden wir leider enttäuscht, diesmal hatten wir Gehöft das nach mehrere Jahren und ein Location Wechsel sich was verbessert hat. Leider war es nicht der Fall. ( die Bewertung ist auch noch online ) 1. Qualität vom essen passt einfach nicht zu denn Preisen. - Der Leber Trocken - Pasta mit Trüffel (Trüffel kostet 9,95€ extra) war nur eine Béchamel mit Trüffel öl. - Pasta mit Lachs war nur ein hauch von Lachs zu sehen 2. Eigentümer der auch serviert, wie auch damals schon kriegt es nicht hin freundlich zu sein. Lächeln war nicht drin. Seine Mitarbeiter machen einen besseren Job. 3. Als wir schon 45 min warteten auf das Dessert und wir es schon storniert hatten, kam der Eigentümer schnell angerannt und klatsche uns die Desserts aufm Tisch. Da es sich um ein fröhlichen Anlass handelte und wir denn Abend nicht negativ beenden wollten haben wir es akzeptiert, sonst hätten wir die Desserts nicht angenommen. Ich kann daher die gute Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Schade der Location ist sehr schön und sie könnten so sein wie sie vorgeben zu sein mit einwenig mehr aufwand und bessere Produkten. Ein drittes mal kommen wir nicht.

Fallen in!!! The pizza is normal, the price is completely exorbitant. The menu was not available and had apparently gotten wet. The drinks are of course more expensive than expected, especially the grappa at EUR 14.50. Never again, full of rip-offs.

We visited the place due to an offer from The Fork, where they provided -50% discount for the whole menu except drinks. It’s a very touristic place due to its location right in the main square. The atmosphere in that evening was nice. The food there is rather international: we took ravioli with goat cheese, spaghetti bolognese, salads and a snack plate for 2. Food was good, pasta was well cooked, ingredients seemed to be fresh. Portions were big. The place is clearly overpriced vs Bremen standard, so’d not go there without the discount, unless lunch offer is available. Probably this is because of the high costs due to their location but I am not sure about that. The service was nice and friendly, even though it was a bit too slow.

Yesterday after a concert as part of the Bremen Music Festival it was still very pleasant to sit outside. We (4) wanted to enjoy the atmosphere on the market square with a delicious drink and chat about the beautiful concert. We chose Due Fratelli - although the tables had already been cleared and everything looked dull (dark and without decoration), we took a seat and were served (pretty listlessly!). We took 2 gin and tonics and 2 Primitivo 0.2l. (GIN: Nothing special, 0815! The wine was pee-warm...) When we paid it came to 62.00 euros (including a 3 euro tip, despite everything, the young man who collected the money was very friendly)! Dear people, you have definitely seen the last of me! With all the love and understanding that you have to earn money - that's a must and be granted to you - but never again these exorbitant prices with me! I feel ripped off!

Based on the reviews and appealing ambience, I had high expectations for this Italian restaurant, which was touted as "first class". Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to this promise. The taste of the dishes was rather average and by no means outstanding. The service also left a lot to be desired - inattentive and not very accommodating. For what was offered, the prices are clearly excessive. It's a shame, because the stylish ambience was promising. Unfortunately, that's not enough to justify a return visit.

Waiting 35 minutes to pay without it being full is not possible. Zero attention, no eye contact possible. Pizza from Dr. Oetker better than here. Not again.

Den bedste vitello’tonato vi har fået nogen sinde! Vores middag, på den bedste placering i Bremen, var uden sammenligning en af vores bedste madoplevelser i Tyskland. Jeg overdriver ikke, når jeg siger vi nok har spist over 30 vitello tonato’er, denne aften bød på den absolut bedste af dem alle. Vi fik også 2 pastaretter, de var virkeligt velsmagende og rigeligt, så der var ikke plads til dessert, desværre…. Personalet var rigtigt venlige og opmærksomme, alt i alt en rigtigt dejlig middag

We were here for dinner with 5 people. The meals were very good! But the service was unbearably bad. Our coats were only taken away after we asked and were found four of us hanging on a hanger with eyelets in an otherwise empty cloakroom. Ordering the food was very hectic and we almost felt taken by surprise. Otherwise, the breaks between clearing away and serving the next course were far too long (sometimes over 1/2 hour). Die hohe Qualität der Speisen stand leider in krassem Widerspruch zum Service. Die Mäntel wurden erst nach Aufforderung abgenommen und fanden sich zu viert auf einem Bügel in einer ansonsten leeren Garderobe wieder. Zwischen den Gängen mussten wir bis zu 30 Minuten warten ohne Bedienung. Zur Krönung war die Rechnung zu unseren Ungunsten falsch. Schade, aber hierher werden wir nicht mehr wiederkommen.

Very friendly and accommodative servers! Chose to sit outdoors on a chilly evening and was immediately offered blankets. We have picky kids, but they managed to accommodate us through a selection from the set menu. We had plain but lovely pasta and the most tender wild boar to share between us, and got a delightful wine recommendation with it.

I only had tiramisu and coffee. But very expensive for the taste 😥

I reserved a table weeks ago. When we registered and wanted to eat in the restaurant and not in the market square, the waiter was in a bad mood, unfriendly and did not want to serve us in the restaurant despite reservations and other people who were already eating in the restaurant. We had lunch outside, few people, very long waiting time, very salty food

Nice ambience, outside, tightrope walkers on the tower, then the food came, disaster... pizza 🍕 that couldn't be cut with pieces in it that you couldn't bite into. Paid full price despite complaint. Not even an apology, I've never experienced that before, please go somewhere else!

2x three-course menu for the price of one with Cityfor2 -Surprise menu in which you can exclude dishes that you don't like -Food is high quality and beautifully presented -30€ okay for a 3 course menu with a voucher, 60€ but very overpriced, you could have expected more -Service so-so, a total of 3 different waiters who don't all communicate with each other -Waiter 1 forgets to bring things, with the excuse that it was busy (not all the tables outside were occupied, only a few inside) -Waiter 2 brings something wrong, then hands us the dessert plate, even though the main course hadn't even been cleared away yet -Waiter 3 charged us way too much, which we unfortunately only noticed afterwards In summary, good food, nice location, but way too expensive for the service you got

Unfortunately, pizza with salmon was extremely salty. Unfortunately, €22.50 for a pizza to take away is too much for what was on offer. Service is top and the atmosphere is also really appealing. It's actually a shame that the pizza was so disappointing.

This place is a big joke The four of us had dinner here at the beginning of May 2024. We saw an inviting sign in front of the patio that said "PIZZA". After we had ordered drinks and the starter, they suddenly arrived that the pizza oven was broken, so we had to choose something else... they should have told us in advance! There was also certainly a lack of service. We forgot the cutlery for both the starter and the main course, so we grabbed it from an empty table because the waiter was nowhere to be seen. So far the experience has been bad and we didn't expect it to get worse. The 0.7L bottle of water that was placed on our table cost €10 and you can pretty much call the salmon a scam. €32 for a shabby plate (see photo). We spent more than €250 with 4 people (3v.g and 4 h.g) for really, very meager portions.. Despite everything, the food was very tasty. Too bad the prices for such a chic place make no sense and the service could certainly be a lot better.

Very unfriendly waiter, treats his colleagues unfairly in front of the guests, we waited about 20 minutes for our drinks, which I didn't find as bad as this arrogant waiter who wanted to take our order, unfortunately I looked at the lunch menu wrong was over, he cheekily pointed it out to me and said I should look again and he would come back, well he wasn't but he successfully ignored us. Tip: You don't treat your employees like that and you certainly don't clarify things like that internally in front of guests! 2 mojito and 1 bottle of water 37 euros.

Last night at Due Fratelli in one word: Excellent! If you're looking for a top Italian restaurant in Bremen, you'll find it right on the market square. Already (almost) known for the very good starters, all courses were a culinary delight. What the brothers Denis (head chef) and Elvis (service manager) are serving in the vaults of the Schütting house is something special. A restaurant with a personal flair and for the whole evening. And (new): good service. Gladly again!

Wir waren das erste Mal dort und mussten feststellen, das Personal geht gar nicht! Mit: Was wollt ihr essen? wurde man begrüßt . Sehr stilvoll! Martini wurde randvoll serviert und verschüttet. Bestellter Wein wurde zum Essen vergessen. Das einzige Positive: Die Qualität der Speisen. Nach der Rechnung mussten wir dann gleich drei mal fragen… Hier passt Preis/Leistung gar nicht! Nie wieder!

To be honest, I have no idea where the others who gave this place five stars ate. My impression is completely different. First of all, our glasses are ginger ale. Of course, if you don't say anything, you can get the 0.4 version for just €6.90, a good third filled with ice. I have to say, these drinks were swapped for an ice-free version without any problem. The parmesan pasta is okay, but really not worth €16 (1/4 portion) or €20 (1/2 portion). The boss himself said that the 1/4 portion for around €16 was “only a forkful”, I thought he was joking, but he really was ;0( And when I got to the veal schnitzel, the fun was really over for me. For around €27 you actually only get the mediocre schnitzel. The request for vegetables and mashed potatoes meant another €14 or so. Don't get me wrong, I like to spend money (a lot) on good food, but then it has to be really good. And that wasn't what this meal was about. Sorry, but I won't be back... By the way, why did everyone else at the table get bread and dip and we didn't? Before I was really so angry that I wanted to rate it with one star, but now I've decided not to completely destroy the rating. At least it was OK.

We visited the Duo Fratelli on one of the first really warm evenings this year and were able to enjoy the typical Bremen atmosphere of the market square. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, and even if it took a little longer here and there, we were very satisfied with the food and wine. A special highlight was the pasta made from the cheese wheel. The main courses can be ordered in different sizes, which gives you the opportunity to try several dishes even if you are slightly hungry. One of the starters in particular should definitely be enjoyed. Absolutely recommended 👍

We wanted to enjoy a cozy evening with a good meal. When we were choosing a table, the waiter harshly asked us to take a table for two and not a table for four if there were only two of us. When we finally wanted to order a pizza, the unfriendly waiter said that there would be no more pizza. All pizzas would have been eaten, which is hard to imagine for an Italian restaurant. But the kicker was that the waiter said in a very unfriendly tone that there were plenty of other dishes on the menu that you could eat. I have never heard such an unqualified statement from a waiter. If I want to eat pizza, I don't order pasta or anything else. We also left the restaurant and had a good meal in a neighboring restaurant.

I thought that in a restaurant like this, it should be possible to eat a good pizza. I and my Italian companions were very disappointed. Long wait, pizza too expensive and really the worst I've ever eaten. Not to mention the price of €7.50 for a glass of Becks, an average beer. The waitresses seemed rather arrogant, for whatever reason. Really a shame for a restaurant in this location that looks better from the outside than from the inside. And that's why I'm just going to look at it from the outside.

Partendo dal presupposto che il ristorante si trova in un bellissimo posto, molto accogliente e elegante.... Ma da una persona che lavora nello stesso vostro settore vi invito a rivedere punto primo il vostro servizio molto scadente poco attento e poco professionale per il prezzo dei vostri piatti... 2 io e i miei amici abbiamo voluto provare le vostre gange menù consapevoli che fosse tutto a piacere dello chef, abbiamo ricevuto un vitello tonnato molto buono forse il piatto migliore, dopo di che un raviolo buono ma niente di speciale, una tagliatelle con un ragù di iberico che io personalmente non avrei mai presentato in un menù, un agnello stracotto che il cameriere a gentilmente rifatto e una pallina di gelato con una crema al cioccolato tutto questo per 85 euro??? Sinceramente viste le recensioni il posto e l eleganza del locale mi sarei aspettato molto di più, non ci siamo neanche lamentati al cameriere perché ci sembrava molto disinteressato... pultroppo Non lo consiglio e non gli darò un altra possibilità..

Wir waren zum Mittagessen ohne Reservierung dort. In einem stilvollen, hellen Gewölbekeller mit leiser Smooth Vocal Musik haben wir hervorragende Gourmet Kultur erlebt. Gegrillte Riesengarnelen zum Einen und Kalbsleber zum Anderen. Gaumenfreude.

Terrible pizza: the dough was not worked or leavened sufficiently. Poor quality seasoning, scarce mozzarella and tomato, while, on the other hand, poor quality oil, in such large quantities that the base was even soggy and with an unpleasant bitter aftertaste. Excessively high costs: margherita pizza €14.50, a glass of beer, €7.50, a bottle of water 0.33 l, €4.50. A robbery! Furthermore, to top it off, very long waiting times. Experience not to be repeated!

Die Speisekarte liest sich sehr gut. Die Umsetzung ist dann allerdings grad „ geht so“. Nach unserer Einschätzung passen Preis/Leistung nicht.

sehr schlechte Service und Pizza war echt sehr schlecht keine Gemüse sondern 3 Stücke Zucchini und paar fragmented Blumenkohl !!! Sehe Bild , dazu kalt serviert und auch sehr unfreundlich natürlich habe kein Trinkgeld gelassen !!! Schlechte Stimmung sehr unzufrieden aber voll Preis bezahlt

Das Gute zuerst: das Essen war sehr lecker und appetitlich angerichtet. Das Ambiente im Gewölbe ist wunderbar. Das war es dann aber leider auch. Der Service ließ leider sehr zu wünschen übrig. Wir hatten einen Tisch für 18:00 Uhr reserviert. Obwohl im Restaurant noch nicht viel los war, wirkte der Empfang hektisch, was vielleicht an der ebenfalls geöffneten (aber auch nicht gefüllten) Außen Gastronomie lag. Der Tisch war nur halb eingedeckt, die Karte ließ auf sich warten. Von dem bestellten sieben Gang Menü wurden anschließend nur sechs Gänge serviert. Das kann mal passieren, aber unerfreulich empfand ich wie darauf reagiert wurde: Auf Nachfrage bot man uns an, nach dem bereits servierten Dessert noch einen Fleischgang zu servieren: ein absolutes no go in einem Restaurant, das für sich gehobene Klasse beansprucht. Als weiterer Ausgleich wurde Espresso und Grappa etc. angeboten. Dies hätte ich ehrlich gesagt, schon als Entschuldigung erwartet und nicht als Ausgleich um ein 7-Gang -Menü abkassieren zu können. Letztlich haben wir ein Sechs Gang Menü bezahlt was sicherlich nicht zu Ungunsten des Restaurants war. Eine Entschuldigung gab es auch in Worten nicht. Sehr schade.!! Die Getränkebegleitung war etwas eigenwillig: warum zu einem Risotto ein Moscow Mule serviert wird, erschließt sich mir nicht aber das mag als Überraschung noch durchgehen.

We went for a lunch today and we have experienced very bad client service we ever had , the vegetarian pizza was a Desaster … margarita with cauliflower 3 paces and green beans sticks 2 paces , cold pizza and unfriendly service we are here just as every costumer , tortellini for my wife were cold please see picture to believe what I will never assume that this good rated restaurant will allow to happen … I really recomand the owner to make sure personal development and may be the cook has to know that a vegetarian pizza is the most easy choice that a client expect from an Italian restaurant please see my pizza to judge yourself ..cheers
