There are mice everywhere in that shop! I ate there last night at 10 p.m. with two other people. The food was completely unhygienic and dirty. We had to inform the staff that the meat smelled spoiled. While we were eating, mice were even running around the shop. We immediately got up and wanted to leave. We still had to pay, even though everyone had left the restaurant. That same evening, all three of us vomited. We got food poisoning. When I called the shop afterward and explained what had happened, Mr. Yildirim reacted extremely rudely. He simply said the mice were "only on the floor, not in the food."

I was unfortunately very disappointed with my visit to the Doy Doy Restaurant in Frankfurt. The food completely fell short of my expectations – neither in terms of taste nor quality. For the prices charged here, I would have expected much fresher and better prepared food. The dishes were generally very greasy, which further detracted from the flavor. I was particularly impressed by the bread, which was tough and clearly not served fresh. The yogurt in one dish was very sour and therefore unfortunately not tasty. The value for money is not right in my opinion. The portions were manageable, the seasoning was bland, and much of the food also appeared to be poorly presented. Overall, it wasn't enjoyable, but rather disappointing, and I would unfortunately not recommend the restaurant.

I arrived at the restaurant around 2:30 p.m. today and only have a 40-minute break from work. My boyfriend and I wanted something to eat. The waiter didn't come over for 20 minutes, after which we ordered our food. After another wait, the food arrived cold. When we spoke to the waiter, he explained that there were only two people working today and there were a lot of customers. We come every Friday at this time, but there are always delays—either in taking our order or in delivering the food. The food is truly delicious, and that's exactly why we keep coming back. However, we ask that you pay attention to these warnings.

Disappointing Service After Years of Loyalty We have been regular guests at DoyDoy for years and have always been satisfied – which made today's visit all the more disappointing. There was a fly in one of our soups. When we informed the waitress, we were given a new soup, but without any apology or even a hint of understanding or regret. The whole thing was treated so casually, as if it were completely normal. This indifferent behavior truly surprised and disappointed us – especially because we have always held the restaurant in high regard. Mistakes can happen, but how they are handled says a lot about a restaurant. We hope this isn't the new norm at DoyDoy.

Three of us ate here yesterday. One of the employees was very nice, which is why I gave him the stars. However, since it was my girlfriend's birthday, I wanted to pay, and I simply tried to convince the waiter that I wanted to pay because it was her birthday. Then another employee came rudely from behind and said seriously that we should continue the argument outside, not in here. Even though we were just having a normal little chat between friends because I didn't want her to pay. You could also tell that he wasn't in the mood for anything anyway; he didn't smile or feel like doing anything. But I found the one waiter who took our payment to be very friendly and in good hands.

We were in Frankfurt for the first time in years because we were visiting the zoo. On the way back, we wanted to satisfy our hunger and decided on the DoyDoy restaurant. My husband and I ordered a doner kebab, but unfortunately, it didn't taste like anything—not overdone, nothing at all—just bland. I didn't even eat half of it because it simply didn't taste good. And you can't really expect much from a doner kebab. We weren't even asked if everything was okay, otherwise I would have offered constructive criticism, but hey, everyone has different tastes. The result at the end of the day: my husband and I both had diarrhea, and we didn't eat anything else.

Highly recommended! We went out to eat with the whole family today, and it was absolutely fantastic! Everything was clean, and the food was very fresh and delicious. You can tell they place a lot of emphasis on quality here. The value for money is also absolutely fair. We'd definitely be back!

I usually avoid Turkish restaurants because, in my opinion, many don't do justice to the depth and variety of Turkish cuisine. I was all the more pleasantly surprised by my visit to Doy Doy. From the warm welcome to the prompt and friendly order-taking to the final checkout, everything was just perfect. I would especially like to highlight the service provided by Süleyman – unfortunately, I only know his first name. He was attentive, friendly, and solution-oriented – qualities that are unfortunately not a given in the restaurant industry and are now rare. We had tripe soup, a doner sandwich, and a doner plate with onion salad – a small special request that was carried out without hesitation. It's precisely this attitude that makes all the difference: listening, responding, making it possible! The food was delicious, authentic, and honestly prepared. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable experience that leaves you wanting more. I will definitely be back. A good restaurant thrives on good staff – and I sincerely hope the owners realize this, too. People like Süleyman shape not only the service, but the entire restaurant experience.

My dish (Dürüm Döner with feta cheese) was good, the size was okay, and at a price of €10, it was about what you'd expect for Frankfurt. Nothing particularly special, but I didn't leave feeling angry or hungry.

A kebab but nothing more normal

Unfortunately, our visit to this restaurant was disappointing. We were a group of ten people and arrived an hour before breaking the fast. The waiting time was okay, but we discovered hair in three out of ten dishes, which was extremely unhygienic and unpleasant. Two of the dishes were replaced, but we didn't complain about the third one because we had lost our appetite. Unfortunately we cannot recommend the restaurant under these circumstances.

I was disappointed by my experience. I had ordered an Adana but couldn't finish it as it wasn't cooked well and was served cold. I was left hungry. I thought it was a famous restaurant in Frankfurt but I was wrong. I won't go back there.

The waiters stood apathetic with their hands in their pockets right next to our table, without even looking at us or serving us.
