A very nice fish restaurant in Frankfurt. Delicious fish dishes, a good selection of different dishes, a modern interior, and a covered outdoor area. Great fish counter. The food was very tasty, and the service was very friendly and attentive. Thank you, we'll gladly come again.

Very tasty and fresh. I'm originally from northern Germany. It's rare to find fish as fresh as this, especially not in a restaurant. You can even get a fresh baguette on request. Highly recommended!

Been here quite a few time and just realize I never left a review for the restaurant 🫨 They serve nice fish dishes here and also lemonade! Tried quite a few dishes here, all were decent, but my fav was definitely the Wolfsbach and Salmon! Decent quality, great portion with fair price! They’ve recently expanded and renovated their store, it can now occupied more people too!

The shrimp were inedible, dipped in a strange can of sauce. The sea bream was excellent, fresh, and delicious. The waiter was a bit arrogant. The place is definitely recommended, but it should also accept criticism. After we politely complained about the shrimp, the waiter didn't care and told us to order at a 5-star hotel (which was outrageous)!

An absolutely top-notch place. No nonsense with 30 different starters and desserts, just simply perfect main courses. Super fresh and delicious. Definitely a recommendation.

Excellent, a large place with an outdoor and indoor atmosphere. They serve excellent Turkish food. All the famous Turkish dishes are available there. Some of the employees speak Arabic and their food is halal. There are foreigners, Arabs and Turks present due to the quality of the food. The value is excellent compared to other similar restaurants. The dishes are large and each dish comes with a free salad. I recommend it.

We spontaneously stopped by this restaurant today after a visit to the zoo. Highly recommended, and the taste is simply indescribable. The only place you can get fresher is right by the sea. Top quality and a large and excellent selection of fresh fish 🐟. All the staff are very attentive and friendly. The value for money is excellent in every respect. We can also recommend the excellent black tea. We'd definitely be back.

The Doy Doy Fishhouse is a welcome address in Frankfurt's city center for me when I want something healthy and light to eat. The grilled sea bream for €16.90 is not only delicious, but also absolutely fair in terms of price for the quality and portion size. The consistently friendly and attentive service is particularly noteworthy – I've been warmly welcomed and well looked after on every visit so far. I also really like the newly designed interior. The space now looks much more inviting, modern, and well-maintained. I really appreciate that Turkish restaurants are increasingly placing value on a stylish ambiance – and this one really does it well. However, two things somewhat dampen the overall positive impression: First, there's a service table with ashtrays and a bucket right in the dining room – understandable from a practical point of view, but not entirely appropriate from a guest perspective. Second, the salad accompanying the fish could be improved: I'd like to see either a higher-quality selection or at least better alternatives for an additional charge. A small but not unimportant point: The oil and vinegar containers and salt shakers on the table often appear somewhat neglected. In a restaurant that otherwise shows great attention to detail, this is unfortunately noticeable – and can certainly be easily improved. Overall, however, a clear recommendation for anyone looking for healthy and delicious food in the city center – with a slight wish for a little more fine-tuning in the details.

Food is super tasty ,however the service is quiet slow and takes time and the space is so small. The Restaurant is not spacy at all.

If you want to eat good fish in Frankfurt without worrying, then you've come to the right place. The fish is always delicious and fresh. The portions are large and you will be full. I can only recommend it.

I do not know where to start from. Ok i probably had the best fish soup in my life in this restaurant. Then i ordered the grilled Dorade with a salad and fried potatoes well well well what a great savory experience. The house made lemonade was also awesome. Very small food portions for the price I would have expected more

There were three of us there. Two people's food was right and mine was wrong. Then he asked me what I ordered. Well, after 40 minutes my food arrived. Disaster service zero.

Food was a complete disaster. Bread was cold kebab meat dry and mostly tasteless. Employees with their hair licked backwards, 30-40 years old, insulted us in Turkish while we were collecting the money, were totally unfriendly and bold. We had 2 Turkish friends at the table. Despite a nice, sensual farewell, complete ignorance and dislike was shown. Never again, everything else in Frankfurt but not Doy Doy.

Lovely Restaurant for Seafood meal I enjoyed my meals I ate there once and did take away the second time. I’d recommend the sea bream option. The only downside is you literally smell the raw fish since the kitchen is literally infront of you.

You immediately noticed that a lot of emphasis is placed on quality here. My family was also thrilled with their dishes, everything was very tasty and beautifully prepared. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We felt well looked after all around. Overall, it was a nice evening in a restaurant that impresses with both good food and a pleasant atmosphere. We would definitely like to come back and can only recommend the Doy Doy Fish House!

The furnishings with many details, such as the ropes and the steering wheel of a boat, give the restaurant a special and cozy atmosphere and a closeness to the origin of the food. Everything fits together harmoniously and invites you to linger. The service was friendly and attentive, and the large selection of fresh fish on the counter was impressive. The restaurant is also well located, which made the visit even more pleasant. We can highly recommend the Doy Doy Fish House and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Although I come to this street often, I have never entered here. I regret it very much. I definitely recommend it. The service, food and atmosphere are great.

In short: they sell bad fish there, fry it beyond recognition and sell it. I ate here about a month ago and threw up after half an hour. Why the health department doesn't close the store is a mystery to me. If I had the time and the nerve, I would have taken legal action long ago.

Was there with the family. Unfortunately I regret the visit. The fish tasted everything but fishy. Dry and inedible. Definitely the first and last time there. My favorite dish is fish and I know it very well. The staff can save themselves the excuses: that it's normal. Otherwise the potatoes were tastier.

Fish options for reasonable price without alcoholic beverages. Portions are big, food is tasty.

They have housemate lemonade you have to try it. The waiter is friendly and helpfully. I recommend everyone to try this restaurant when you are around city centre.

Wir kommen seit einer gefühlten Ewigkeit in dieses Fischrestaurant auf der Zeil. Hauptsächlich haben wir Dorade gegessen, gelegentlich Lachs, es war immer von sehr guter Qualität, das Servicepersonal sehr freundlich, die Ambiente ist okay. Heute war ein sehr netter Kellner namens Nurullah, obwohl er allein war, war er stets freundlich und Kompetent. Parkplätze gibt es in der Umgebung vereinzelt, wir parken immer im Parkhaus, dort ist man beruhigt.

Good taste, great smokey flavours and just the right amount of salt. We ate a couple of whole fish and that was good. The place itself is not that inviting but service was really nice.
