Very good! I was there with my children in the evening. The service is very courteous and friendly. The food was really good and the rooms were also good. It was a great evening.

I haven't had such outstanding service in a long time. Finally asked again when the next course can come. Plus a Sancerre which was wonderful and an excellent meal. Away from the hustle and bustle, a highlight!

Very relaxed atmosphere, very quiet and great lunch specials with very good value for money. The service is pleasant, but could be a little more attentive. I'd love to come back.

We went to Berlin in February 2025 with my cousin and on our walk through the city we found the Asian restaurant. We ordered an appetizer (unfortunately I don't remember its name but I have a photo) my cousin duck (HONIG ENTE) and I CRISPY CHICKEN and for dessert we ordered something with mango. Our dishes were great - big portions and I highly recommend them

This was a very agreeable evening. We decided spontaneously without any plan. We were a group of 4 with 1 person on a severe diet. The service was flexible and very friendly. The food was excellent and so were the drinks. Not a single thing to complain about. We had Spicy beef rolls 😋 highlight Duck rolls 😋 Black Tiger shrimps both, starter and main 😋 Thai coconut soup 😋 Wok vegetables😋 Thank you.

The ambience and food were excellent, unfortunately the service forgot about us in the end. Plates were still at the table after payment. We actually wanted to order dessert but since no one came, one of us got up and told the waitress that we would like to pay. It's really a shame! Hope it's not always like that!

Πήγαμε στο Βερολίνο το Φεβρουάριο του 2025 με το ξάδερφο μου και στην βόλτα μας στην πόλη βρήκαμε το ασιάτικο εστιατόριο.Πραγγείλαμε ορεκτικό (δυστυχώς δεν θυμάμαι την ονομασία του αλλά έχω φωτογραφία) ο ξάδερφος μου πάπια (HONIG ENTE) και εγώ τραγανο κοτόπουλο νε νούτλς ( CRISPY CHICKEN ) και για επιδόρπιο παραγγείλαμε κατι με μάνγκο. Ήταν υπέροχα τα πιάτα μας-μεγάλες μερίδες και σας τα πρότείνω ανεπιφύλακτα

Tasty food, nice ambience, nice and friendly staff

My lunch at Dong A Restaurant was simply delicious! The seaweed salad, mixed with glass noodle salad and the creamiest tofu, was the best I've ever had. The taste was excellent and the ingredients were fresh and perfectly prepared. The service was super friendly and attentive, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. I felt very comfortable and am already looking forward to my next visit. I highly recommend Dong A Restaurant!

The Asian restaurant completely convinced me. The food was extremely tasty and the friendly staff made the visit even more pleasant. The ambience is beautifully designed and of high quality, which gives the whole thing a special touch. Given the excellent quality, the prices are surprisingly good. In my opinion, the restaurant benefits greatly from being the only one in the area. The food is decent but uninspired. Standard Vietnamese fare for German eaters. The portions are large and the food tastes good, but even for lunch you pay well into double-digit amounts. The ambience is a bit intentionally upscale and seems rather sterile/businesslike.

We were there for lunch. The food was very tasty. It was very well attended but we didn't have to wait long.

We have been there several times in the past and were without exception satisfied with the dishes: delicious, fresh, imaginative, exceptional... Unfortunately it wasn't so great the day before yesterday (maybe the kitchen staff changed); In any case, the dishes were no longer as worthy of praise and mention as before. Too bad.

The best asian kitchen in Berlin

As soon as you arrive, you feel that this is a restaurant with a prestigious touch. We have Asian food often but this was really special. Very well cooked food indeed, in a way I've never had before. An experience for me. Also a very well shot beer.

The food was excellent, and it was also nice to eat from KPM porcelain. However, what struck me negatively was how broken the plates were; mine even had a corner missing. This should urgently be replaced, especially if the manufacturer is right next door.

Top cuisine!!! Incredibly good food at fair prices! My expectations were exceeded, so I was very enthusiastic and can highly recommend the restaurant as a top address in Berlin.

Maybe we were just unlucky, but the waiters seemed rude and arrogant, and the menu was pretty boring. I will hardly return to this place again, despite the beautiful interior and delicious food.

This place is great. Excellent food and service, the appetizers in particular are just perfect. My colleagues and I had a lot of work and they let us post up all day in a quiet corner of the restaurant and took care of us. Lovely team with great recommendations. If you’re staying at the hotel attached then don’t doubt that this is a great option beyond convenience for this area.

The menu ... ... is interesting and our hotel was around the corner so we reserved a table. The Dong A is located in the KPM Hotel and is modernly furnished - and the porcelain is from KPM (although this doesn't affect the food). The four of us shared four dishes because we wanted to try different foods. All dishes were very tasty and freshly prepared. We were served very friendly and attentively by the staff. The price level is a little higher, but definitely appropriate for the food. However, the non-alcoholic drinks are significantly overpriced - almost €10 for 0.4 l of soft drink (Cola/Soda/Spezi) is unreasonably high (which also leads to devaluation).

... ist interessant und unser Hotel war um die Ecke, also haben wir einen Tisch reserviert. Das Dong A befindet sich im KPM-Hotel und ist modern eingerichtet – außerdem stammt das Porzellan von KPM (was sich aber beim Essen nicht auswirkt). Wir haben uns zu viert vier Gerichte geteilt, weil wir unterschiedliche Speisen probieren wollten. Alle Gerichte waren sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet. Von den Mitarbeitern wurden wir sehr freundlich und aufmerksam bedient. Das Preisniveau ist etwas höher, für das Essen aber auf alle Fälle angemessen. Allerdings sind die alkoholfreien Getränke deutlich überteuert – fast 10 € für 0,4 l Erfrischungsgetränk (Cola/Limo/Spezi) sind unangemessen viel (was auch zur Abwertung führt).

Asian fusion that only inspires. We had just gotten a table, so I would definitely reserve it in advance. I was lucky that this restaurant was part of the KPM Hotel where I resided. They are also responsible for the excellent breakfast.

Food was great! Due to the large number of guests, the service was very demanding and we had to indicate several times that we would like to order something else. Otherwise highly recommended.

It is advertised as Finest Asian Cuisine and the prices are accordingly. There was no lack of service speed... The starter was at the table before the cocktail was served... I was able to save myself the wine. I was happy about the papaya salad... I got a European softened version mixed with green lettuce and classic vinegrette. It had nothing to do with Som Tam. What was missing were the limes, roasted nuts, fish sauce, chilli, dried shrimp... instead there were warm tomatoes and a little soy sauce, with tempura shrimp... Disaster that kind of thing when you go out for Asian food. The excuse for this was that Europeans don't eat the original version. The main course was similarly bad, the sauce tasted indefinably like fried barbecue sauce. The Mai Thai was surprisingly good and close to the original, something I never experience otherwise. I can't recommend this restaurant if you're expecting Asian cuisine, but it was fresh and of good quality.

Alles perfekt: Essen, sehr freundliches Personal, Ambiente (KPM Skulpturen, Porzellan), sehr gepflegt, Preis-Leistungsverhältnis… incl. Flasche Wein 100 Euro für 2 Personen

Wir waren das zweite Mal dort essen, jeweils aus einem besseren Anlass. Das Essen war hervorragend. Wir waren überrascht, dass man in Berlin so gut essen kann. Der Service war eine Zumutung. Das kann man in so einem Haus nicht dulden. Ich weiß, Fachkräftemangel, aber wenn man das Personal dementsprechend entlohnt, würde man auch adäquaten Service erwarten. Die sehr junge Dame war etwas ungeduldig, sicherlich gab es auch Verständigungsschwierigkeiten, aber man kann der Sache etwas verbindlicher angehen. Zu unserem Pech hat uns die selbe Dame auch beim Essen bedient. Während des ersten Ganges beim Essen würden wir gefragt, was wir als Hauptgang haben möchten. Wir müssten während des Essens unsere Bestellung abgeben. Das war nur ein Punkt unter vielen Punkten. Als Rechnung gab es nur eine Zwischenrechnung. Fazit: für ein Geschäftsessen ist dieses Restaurant nicht geeignet, da würde man sich nur schämen, aber privat mit viel Verständnis und Geduld kann man das Essen genießen, fraglich ist, ob man sich das in einem hochpreisigen Restaurant antun möchte.

Honestly this restaurant is subliminal and caters for all palettes and has a superb selection. I opted for red chicken curry with the Dong A special brownie with a lovely house Merlot and a Singapore sling to conclude. Perfection!

Food incredibly tasty, good service and only porcelain from KPM. I find prices reasonable. Everything is dark wood and the walls and floor are black, only the KPM objects on the walls are white. We will come back.

Absolutely love coming to Dong A. The service is always impeccable and the staff very accommodating. The food is always fresh and delicious. I love the Udon Noodles and PHO!

We ate deliciously and inexpensively. The employees were very committed and respectful. We stayed a long time and didn't feel like we should leave. The mango panna cotta is recommended!

First of all: The food was good, but: 1.) the prices online and outside are SIGNIFICANTLY lower than in the store on the menu. You are lured in and only see the real prices after you take a seat. 2.) The water provided is DULY billed without warning at almost 7 euros per bottle. In a larger group, over 40 euros were left for the last person! That's not possible at all and clearly detracts from the overall experience.

Valentines menu. Men alle andre kunne godt få almindelig ala carte. Snyd… men det var Ok. Ikke en stor oplevelse. God service. Nogle gæster havde en hund med.

A great atmosphere with very good upscale furnishings. The selection of dishes is great and the food is high quality. Accordingly, the price/performance ratio is slightly higher, but appropriate. We were greeted very friendly and escorted to the table. We enjoyed it excellently 👍

The portions were decent and not too scarce. The price-performance ratio was right. The cocktails were very tasteful and well made. All in all highly recommended.

Incredibly delicious Asian cuisine.

Europeanized Vietnamese dishes, but very good and delicately seasoned. The seasonal sweet potato curry was good, the tofu was fine. Portions were rather small, but for me the quantity was perfect so that nothing was left on the plates at the table. The right amount for lunch without falling into a productivity hole afterwards. The service was a bit overwhelmed with our table for 12 people, the order took quite a long time. The food was delivered in several batches, the first ones were already half full before the last ones received their plates - but this was acceptable for the size of the group. Ambiance is very modern and nice, you can feel the hotel atmosphere.

Great ambience that invites you to linger. The fried salmon was exceptional and deliciously prepared. The food was super tasty. Price level slightly higher than usual.

Stylishes asiatisches Restaurant mit ausgefallener Küche. Das Essen war außergewöhnlich gut. Leider wurde der Abend durch die Wartezeit auf das Essen (mehr als 60 Minuten) am Ende sehr getrübt. Also besser nur hingehen, wenn es nicht voll ist.

Eher zufällig entdeckt. Ziemlich versteckt hinter dem Flohmarktbereich des 17. Juni gelegen (an das KPM-Kotel integriert). Sehr stylishes, eher schummriges Ambiente, großzügig geschnittener Raum, softe, unaufdringliche Jazzmusik im Hintergrund, aufmerksamer Service, erstklassiges Essen, das sich vor allem in der Zubereitung/Präsentation (die königliche Porzellanmanufaktur stellt das Geschirr...) von üblichen Asiaten abhebt (feine, leichte Erdnusssoße, Entenstreifen in herrlicher, krosser Honighülle), preislich angemessen gehoben. Guter Wein, der im 0,1 L-Glas angeboten wird. Mittagstisch ab 11.30 gibt es auch. Im Sommer kleine Terrasse bzw mit einigen Plätzen auf dem Trottoir der ruhigen Englischen Straße. Update April 2022: Qualität immer noch prima, allerdings ist es jetzt schon mehrfach vorgekommen, dass nicht das auf dem Teller liegt, was auf der Karte steht. Der Papayasalat hatte weder Zuckerschoten, noch geröstete Sesamkerne und Erdnüsse zu bieten. Darauf angesprochen, wurde die lapidare Auskunft von der Küche übermittelt, das würde nicht zum Salat passen. Das georderte Roastbeef mit sautiertem grünen Spargel enthielt keinen Spargel (dafür anderes Gemüse, das gar nicht auf der Karte stand). Hat der Koch angeblich vergessen. Ist zwar schön, dass man dann als Ausgleich ein Dessert spendiert bekommt (bisher immer (3x): keine Sesamkerne, dafür schön angerichtete Ananas und etwas Sahne) aber lieber wäre mir, man würde das erhalten, was man bestellt hat. Ich hab den Eindruck, die Karte dient hier nur als grobe Richtlinie. Das geht in dieser Preiskategorie aber nicht. So mache ich jetzt ein bisschen Pause da. Schade. Also bitte erstmal entweder die Karte überarbeiten oder die Köche sensibilisieren.

Viel besser als im Sommer 22. Sehr guter Service, aufmerksamer keine Hektik mehr wie beim ersten Besuch. Genug Zeit zwischen den Gängen. Speisen schön präsentiert, geschmackvoll. Beim Hauptgericht leider wie vor einem Jahr, das Fleisch ertrinkt in der Soße, vielleicht im asiatischen Raum üblich ? Keine Ahnung. Für den Geschmack aber nicht abträglich.

High quality Asian fusion food. I am a fish and seafood lover as well as asian flavour fan, so I enjoyed it to the fullest. We ordered 4 starters and 2 dishes for the main course as well as many different🍸cocktails. The signature designer plates by KPM ("Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur" - The Royal Porcelain Factory) are fantastic in a combination with the carefully selected and tastefully decorated Asian fusion dishes served with a sense of creativity. Will definitely go back again! I recommend the 🥥 Coconut Milk Soup "Sup Sua Dua" and the Grilled Tuna Yeriaki as well as Teryaki Sashimi. They have great coffee ☕️ (Andraschko coffee beans).

非常好的服務～^_^ 木瓜沙拉：青、熟木瓜搭配炸蝦👍 豆腐喇沙：喇沙汁太下飯了。 炸蝦春捲：傳統越式春捲。 蝦組合餐：有大蝦、炒飯（超美味😋）、炒青菜、炸蕃薯，推薦！ 布朗尼加冰淇淋：份量多！ 奶酪：好吃！ 餐點只能用精緻來形容，大家都很滿意😀。

Wir waren mit der Familie unterwegs und sind zufällig vorbeigelaufen der Service war sehr gut und das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Auch der Nachtisch war äußerst zu empfehlen.

Sehr Preis intensiv aber essen war gut

Wir wollten das Restaurant heute auf dem KPM Hoffest testen. Leider scheiterte der Versuch, mehrere Gerichte zu probieren daran, dass nur Barzahlung akzeptiert wurde. Sorry 2023 ein echtes no-go und eigentlich ein Grund, gleich wieder zu gehen Da wir aber Papaya Salat lieben und ich den "Notfall 20ger" eingesteckt hatte, beschlossen wir, diesen zu bestellen. Eine Fehlentscheidung, denn dem Salat fehlte die Namesstiftende Ingredienz fast komplett: Die grüne Papaya. Stattdessen billiger Eisbergsalat und Algen, beide haben da eigentlich nix drin verloren. Immerhin war das Dressing OK. Wir haben unsere bucket list heute um einen Restaurantbesuch gekürzt

Excelente restaurante en hotel KPM. En tres noches de estancia cenamos dos. Repetimos tapas para compartir. Platos principales muy buenos, mejor carne que pescado. Postres nada asiaticos. Personal muy amable, aunque un poco lentos.

Das Essen ist durchaus lecker, aber die Portionen sind eher sehr klein. Dafür ist es dann doch überteuert. Ein Glas Wein 0,2 liegt bei 15 € Das muss man sich leisten können oder wollen.

Extrem leckeres Essen an einer mir normalerweise sehr still vorkommenden Ecke. Unverhofft und begeisternd. Komme wieder. Große Terrasse ist ein Plus.

Authentisch, stilvoll, gehoben und doch unaufgeregt - vietnamesische Küche frisch zubereitet, fein interpretiert und genussvoll. Gelegen im KPM-Hotel und passend zur Manufaktur nebenan.

La cuisine proposée est riche, savoureuse, recherchée, parfumée ! C’est une vraie découverte à Berlin. Les quantités sont la aussi, en 1 semaine nous sommes revenus 2 fois. Nos adolescents ont adoré !

Ich habe in diesem Restaurant meine Wartezeit auf das Check-in im KPM überbrückt und kurz vor 14:00 zu Mittag gegessen: alles in allem blendet die moderne Aufmachung: schlechter Service und minderwertige Küche. Im Service gibt es keine Rollenverteilung und viele Kellner verstehen kein Deutsch (wechseln aber auch nicht ins Englische, was natürlich vollkommen ok wäre). Ich konnte erst nach 20 Min. mein Essen bestellen, da zunächst die Zahlung von 20 Personen am Tresen abgefertigt werden musste und zudem ein Promi am Nebentisch Priorität vor mir als Schwangere hatte. Die Honig-Ente mit Reis war schließlich trocken, verkocht, knorpelig und mit einer Kruste wie Gummi.

Durch eine Ausstellung im Haus auf das Restaurant in der Lobby aufmerksam geworden. Wir waren richtig überrascht. Geschmacklich top. Besuch Nr 2 - genauso lecker. Besuch Nr. 3 steht bereits schon fest. Weiter so!

Das Essen war mega lecker und die Servierung davon war einfach, aber sah gut aus. Ich besuche 100% wieder, wenn nächstes Mal nach Berlin komme.
