Döner Deluxe in München

From the outside, the shop looks really promising, but the kebab was a complete failure. The skewer is cheap industrial mince from Berlin, nothing homemade, no real flavor. Plus, it's pre-made bread from a packet... If you value quality in kebabs, you'd better move on. One of the worst kebabs I've had in a long time. The staff were nice, though...at least they were something.

Kebab de Luxe – A real insider tip in Munich! From the outside, the shop initially appears rather inconspicuous, but as soon as you enter, you immediately notice: A lot of heart and soul have gone into this place! Inside, it's surprisingly spacious and inviting. The staff are incredibly friendly and immediately make you feel like you're part of a family business – you simply feel welcome. The food is excellent and in no way inferior to a good 4-star restaurant – visually appealing, freshly prepared, and simply delicious! I was particularly pleasantly surprised by how beautifully the food was presented and served – with attention to detail. The final highlight: the homemade Turkish tea, which you are offered as a matter of course as a guest. It's precisely this little extra that makes all the difference – you almost feel like you're visiting a Turkish family. An all-around fantastic experience – highly recommended! 🌯🍵

This place is amazing! I went here three years ago and it was absolutely delicious! 🤣 Lots of sauce and a perfect seasoning, it's unforgettable (?) This year, I happened to be in Munich for a layover, so I went back for another try. It's just as delicious! It beats all the other Döner places! 🤣

Waiting time was long, price was high, taste was soso. Inside all tables were occupied, outside the tram was directly driving beside and and no tables available. All occupied by scary people. At night I would run away as fast as possible. This area is not good, drunken people everywhere, homeless people peeing and pooping on the street.

Really enjoyed my visit to Döner de Deluxe in Munich. The döner teller was generous, tasty, and very filling. Staff were friendly and even added extra sauce when I asked. Another highlight is the variety they offer – beyond just the classic döner, there’s a wide selection of different dishes, so it’s a place you can come back to and try something new each time. Overall, a solid spot for a hearty, flavorful meal with kind service and plenty of choice. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Munich and craving good döner.

We were there yesterday. The staff were friendly, but unfortunately, I have to say the food wasn't that great! I'm not a picky person, and neither are my children, but they should maybe rework the durum and salad, what could be changed? 🙂 I don't want to go into details, but my husband asked the manager about it, and he just said, "Our food is like this; if you need salt, you could have asked 😅 like this!"

Good vegan doner kebab/dürüm made with seitan. Unfortunately, the salad/vegetables in the dürüm were a bit too small, and the only vegan sauces available were spicy or hummus. Still delicious.

I have lived on top of Döner Deluxe for the past 5 months and the Döner/Dürüm mit alles has supported me during intense study sessions, been a go to for celebrations with friends, or just an easy dinner when I can’t be bothered to cook. I love Döner deluxe. The prices are good, the guys are homies, and the food always hits the spot. I would highly recommend anyone to come here. I will miss you Döner Deluxe.❤️

Halloumi is fine, bread is doughy, vegetables just deep fried without any salt or spices, white sauce is good but "spicy" sauce sweet and rather disappointing

We stopped in on a Sunday evening by chance, passing by because Maps said it was closed. It's run by very kind and helpful owners. We had a durum kebab and a durum falafel, then two baklavas, and they even offered us tea. The food was delicious. The price was reasonable. Worth a try.

Very, very tasty dürüm with lots of different vegetables. I would definitely go back; everything seemed clean. The seller was also very friendly!

Good enough to help out, but the kebab is poorly made. The bread isn't suitable for the amount of ingredients, so much so that you'd have to eat the kebab on a plate with cutlery.

The kebab burger, loaded with vegetables and chicken, is so generous it's like two meals a day! The photo was taken after I'd already eaten some vegetables, but the actual portion is even more substantial!

We ate lahmacun, döner kebab, and falafel. They were all delicious. We were also very pleased with the attention and care shown by my Syrian brother. He's a very clean and moral person who had previously lived in Istanbul. They were also helpful when we told them we wanted to pray.

The chicken tasted awful, and the way it was prepared was equally awful. They put the döner kebab first, then the salad, and then the sauce. So, they put a ladleful on the bread filled with sauce, which is terrible, meaning you eat all the sauce in one bite. They put the salad at the very end, so you're eating plain bread and chicken. The chicken was practically raw and full of grease, and I had to pick it apart. I have no idea how it got such a high score. Just because they put meat doesn't mean you have to give it 5 stars.

Had food poisoning for the next 4 days because of the kebab, absolutely not recommended.

Dürüm XL was definitely large, had good flavor and not too spicy. The staff was friendly and helpful as I was not sure what I wanted. The place was very clean and looked newly renovated. The meal was affordable and probably the reason they got so busy after I arrived.

The man who took our order, was a bit too aggressive. Many items for pizza were not available; we ordered the pizza with alternates; in the it was made so spicy that we couldn’t eat it…. For us just a waste fo money, time and mood!

Anyone who appreciates huge portions will be happy here. For me, the doner kebab plate was way too much. The taste was mediocre—too salty in places.

Went in for something after a long days walking around Munich. Had the XL kebab. The bread was fresh, meat was well cooked well and was tender. Went well with the salad and sauces especially the curry sauce. Would recommend if your visiting Munich.

There is no such döner. In Türkiye, they make 4 döners with the meat in this döner. If you are in Munich, you should stop by, you won't regret it.

Found this great Donair place near our hotel … staff are friendly, helpful to everyone. Ordered chicken Donair & Falafel box, both were delicious, filled with fresh vegetables, sauces and chicken & fries. There is ample seating inside as well as a patio.

It's as if it were a premium kebab shop, but with normal prices. I got a rolled kebab and it was good and filling. The place is very nice, super clean and in the bathroom there are even feminine hygiene products available for those who don't have them with them. Not to mention the really very kind and friendly staff. Until next time!

This review is based on the doner sandwich with curry Mayo. The food was excellent, filling, and priced at 7 euro. Sandwich had chicken, red cabbage, lettuce, curry Mayo, something like Taziki sauce, fries, and a touch of hot sauce. Bread was excellent, crispy on the outside, soft in the middle and freshly baked. Note, menu is in German only and staff speak just a little English but will generally understand. There is one step in case you have mobility issues. I would come back for sure.

This kebab was great. The stall landed at number 1 for me in 2025 and was nominated for “the best kebab of 2025” and remains undefeated so far.

Had Doner, half rice half salad plate. Really good taste. Meat was flavorful, Salad was Fresh. No Complains. They were very fast in putting the order together.

Very dear owners, delicious bread and delicious meat. Ambiance is very nice, well-kept and even hygiene products and decent toilets are available. When I complimented the bread I received 2 free loaves of bread. Service wonderful and very friendly! Always happy. Seitan is also a very good option for vegetarians.

We ordered lahmacun. The lahmacun was already prepared in advance and taken out of the fridge. There was very little minced meat on it. It tasted bad. Only the shape of the dough resembled regular lahmacun. Dürüm also had little chicken meat and didn't taste good.

Significantly reduced and only chicken kebab, sauces carelessly at the end without good distribution. The kebab tasted rather weak and the meat wasn't crispy either.

Unfortunately the kebab was very disappointing. I won't eat there anymore. Falafel are homemade but they also taste strange. What a shame!

We had falafel in a tortilla and a kebab with fries. Tortilla cold and everything completely cold and soggy. I don't miss a kebab in Germany when I'm passing through, but this one was not good.

We have on November 27th. Ordered 2 Dürüm and 1 Ayran via Lieferando. The ayran was never delivered. The driver took the tip and promised to refund the ayran. Today is December 14th. the money was never refunded and they don't respond to messages. Never again. The dough is also not homemade.

the bread was very tasty and warm. The sauces were also very good, but unfortunately they were only added at the end. When the sauces were gone, all you had was chicken with bread as a flavor, which in the long run tasted very long-lasting and dry. There was cream cheese spread on the side of the bread, which you could taste the whole time. In my opinion this could have been left out. Better to smear the right sauces ON THE SIDE OF THE BREAD... it's a shame because the first few bites were really good. you could sit well and comfortably. I visited Döner Deluxe based on the good reviews, and while I enjoyed the döner dürüm, it was a bit too salty for my taste. I also picked up a margherita for my friends, which they liked. The atmosphere was pleasant, but I encountered an issue with one staff member who wasn’t very professional, requiring me to be firm. Overall, it’s a decent spot, but there’s room for improvement in service.

A nearby spot to our hotel, their food was so worth the price. A generous helping of meat and fries, along with an assortment of vegetables and sauces to choose from combined to form a delicious meal. Not to mention the flavourful falafel. I could easily see myself eating this for lunch and dinner, proving to be a good meal. I got the to-go bowl repeatedly, but I'm sure their wraps and other items are just as good
