Beste Döner Laim in München

The dürüm was really delicious, thanks in large part to the excellent flatbread. HOWEVER, badly burnt pieces of meat have no place in it! It was very busy, and the rotisserie was on full blast; burnt bits can happen, but they shouldn't end up in the finished product! The food itself is theoretically very tasty, but the organization and the staff behind the preparation were rather poor! Therefore, unfortunately, only 3 stars.

If only I'd read the reviews beforehand... I ordered a halloumi dürüm -> the dough was RAW. I went back to the shop to point this out. My dürüm then saw the inside of an oven for the first time and was re-wrapped in aluminum foil without any check. At home, I discovered it still wasn't cooked through. I ended up just eating the filling. I paid €8 for raw dough. Never again. The ambiance looked quite nice, though. It would be great if they put that same effort into their food.

I confess, I didn't want to try that kebab shop because of the bad reviews. But today I had some time and was hungry, so I tried another chicken L'eden on Fürstenrieder Straße and wasn't satisfied. Thank goodness I came here today. The server was very nice and friendly and even made the bread for my dürüm very fresh. The kebab was an explosion of flavor. Thank you so much for the great food, it was truly amazing, and I will definitely come back.

How can you let the public order office open a place like this? The meat isn't even cooked or fried. You give money for meat that isn't fried. That's at least five times I go there. The employees are sneering. That's not normal. How can you let the public order office open something like this and rip people off for money?

A well-maintained snack bar with a wide selection. Plenty of seating. Everything is freshly prepared. Highly recommended.

The dürüm flatbread was undercooked and mushy, the antipasti vegetables were tasteless, and the falafel was a convenience item and not really warm. And then they charge €8 for it. One of the worst kebabs I've had in years.

Freshly baked pita bread, crispy salad and juicy meat - it's very tasty. We will come here again. During lunch time you may have to wait a little longer for your order.

Absolutely shitty place. Their food used to be tasty. But when they now give customers old, hard bread and flatbread and literally scrape cold meat out of the metal shelves instead of cutting new meat, I say no. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else. It's NOT worth it here.

I was here at 9:30 p.m. There was a long line, and I had to wait. A person who obviously knew the staff came in behind me and cheekily pushed in front of them. He greeted an employee with a handshake, who promptly served him even though he saw the line was waiting. That's a no-go for me... we're all waiting, and if you let your friends go ahead, it's at the expense of the other guests. It was rude of the guest, but also rude of the employee. Other than that, the service was nothing special. The Dürüm was okay.

Not recommended. I've been there twice, and both times it was terrible. Why is that? All the customers before and after me were asked countless times what they wanted. They simply don't listen. The woman in front of me complained. They put meat on my plate even though I wanted vegetarian. The man after me wanted fries and was offered durum wheat instead. The quality is also poor. I'm definitely not going there again.

Very unfriendly staff, they really don't care about customers at all. They try to make you pay cash. Falafel was not edible, worst frozen falafel on planet. Döner meat is just salty. It is very pricey for the lowest quality "food" that you get. We will never visit again and do not suggest it to anyone !

I've eaten countless kebabs, but this one really sets new standards! The meat is juicy and perfectly seasoned, the bread is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the sauce rounds everything off perfectly. The ingredients are fresh and carefully put together. In addition, there is fast and friendly service – simply great! I will definitely come back!

Unfortunately, the name "Best Döner Laim" is not accurate - we really have better ones here. The kebab is not good and the bread is just bad. If the food is bad, the politeness should at least be good (exist). When you see that you're not the only one having a bad experience, then you know that it wasn't just a bad day that everyone can have.

Dear ladies and gentlemen, I am extremely disappointed with this (BEST DÖNER LAIM). Since I actually rely on the reviews, I thought I'd just go there because otherwise everyone else would have a kebab shop! The Lahmacun is a complete disaster! Very disappointing, had a branch in the food. Where it was pretty disgusting! Friends had aluminum foil inside and the other taste of a dandelion! Recommendation? NO WAY! I'd rather go to a kebab shop that has a rating of 1 than here. Too expensive!

More than solid Durum. My personal highlight was the bread as it appeared to be self made and tasted really good. The rest of the ingredients where solid and tasted how you would expect them at this price point. The staff was relatively friendly but not the fastest so it took them a while to work through the orders. Still a good option to go to and I would most likely come again.

I just ate at a döner in Munich, and it was an incredible experience. The bread is fresh, homemade before your eyes, which adds an artisanal touch that you don't find everywhere. The vegetables are of impeccable freshness, and the meat is of exceptional quality. But what really makes the difference is the curry sauce, unique in its kind and impossible to find anywhere else. Every time I come to Munich, I never fail to stop here, and it's always a renewed pleasure. To all French people, I highly recommend this doner.

If this is supposed to be the best kebab shop in Laim, as the name suggests, then I don't want to eat in the others. We had three different dishes, including kebab and fallaffle, and were not satisfied.
