This place is a bright spot at Munich Central Station. I bought a salad and wrap here on the way from Denmark to Italy and was satisfied with what I got and would like to return.

Unfortunately, Dean & David has slacked off a lot! I always enjoyed eating there when I was in big cities or picking up something to take with me on the train. Unfortunately, the portions are getting smaller, the quality is getting worse and the prices are going up. The price-performance ratio is no longer right here. The salad (green falafel) was okay, but nothing more. And the portion was very small for the price.

I had a Chicken Teryaki Wrap and the only good thing about it was that it was made warm. Poorly rolled everything had slid down and initially only had spinach and a gigantic tomato - zero seasoning. Then the chicken came but no trace of teriyaki sauce. It tasted more like steamed chicken and all of a sudden there was a pile of bulgur at the bottom but also without any salt or taste. Then the paper was also wrapped in the wrap - so simply a disaster for €8.45. Please if you don't want to do the job, leave it alone, give plenty of other jobs to the person who created this wrap - Would you want to eat that? I don't believe :/

The staff here are incredibly friendly and attentive, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The dishes are uncomplicated but exceptional and consistently satisfying. I highly recommend trying the mango rice pudding, it's simply delicious!

Shocked price increase at Dean & David yesterday at the main train station (!!!) for a vitality salad (without meat!) that was previously €9.45, now for a whopping €15, and that without any improvement or expansion of this product! !!

I bought 2 salads bowls and they charged me for 3. I am disputing the charge now. They did not give me a receipt and I found out by checking my credit card purchase history. I consider this kind action one of the worst a business can do to their customer.

I tried a falafel wrap and banana bread, both were vegan and absolutely delicious. The berries on the banana bread gave the dish a tart note and balanced the sweetness perfectly. What a great combination!

I absolutely cannot understand the good reviews. Wraps have absolutely no taste and don't really fill you up for the price. The beef wrap contained 90% vegetables and 10% meat. Really not good at all.. avoid this store in the future

8.40am, 3 Guys, no Clients…I was waiting for my coffee 8minutes and finally left because I didn’t want to pass my train. Paid, didn’t get, enjoy Dean&David. I will come back, even to eat.

It's quick and tastes super delicious. Always buy the hot wrap chicken. Perfect snack that fills you up. The Bircher muesli is also super tasty and not too sweet.

While the sandwiches in the window are large, the ones you give to the customer are empty.

I actually like all things by dean&david and especially as a companion on train rides. Today I bought a salad in Munich HBF. He turned out to be an absolute “rotten salad”! At first I sorted it out, but then I couldn't eat it anymore. I was really pissed off. 12.- for the garbage. Very disappointing

This morning was definitely my last time there. The mango rice pudding was watered down and the mango pieces were floury and overripe in color. I kindly pointed this out to the employee and was told that the best before date is today, so it's fresh!! Last time we brought salads and sandwiches etc. to a meeting for 12 people, but the lettuce leaves were already wilted and unsightly by 11 a.m. A few fewer stores and better quality standards and employee training... the competition never sleeps!!

Freshness and quality were not at all present in the Chicken Caesar Salad I just bought. Almost all the lettuce leaves were brown. So I could only eat half of the salad. Totally overpriced for that!

It's super quick, nice staff and good healthy food. In terms of location, it's just a train station that's being renovated, but it's still one of the nicer shops there. Perfect food when you have to get to the train quickly and have a long journey ahead of you. My favorite from now on❤️

I usually always buy my breakfast/lunch for long train journeys from D&D. This time I was very disappointed, bought everything first thing in the morning and discovered on the train that the Bircher muesli and salad were from the day before (best before date). The Bircher muesli tasted extremely sour and unfortunately the salad wasn't good either. Just under €17 was spent on the two things and they were still inedible. Unfortunately, we lost a loyal customer - a real shame.

Truly awful. Barely any fillings in the wrap and what was in there was a disaster. Undercooked chicken, no dressing, soggy lettuce and tomato. For some reason egg in a chicken Caesar wrap. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs.

New standard: There is no more bread. Disappointing given the already expensive salads.

I used the pick up option when ordering. Nice timing, I got my food and drink in a bag very quickly. But on the train I noticed that there were NO CUTLERY in the bag. Logically, when you pre-order something to take away (in the situation: the train is in 5-7 minutes, you only have time to pick it up), you expect CUTLERY in the order! Please correct your way of working, Dean&David team. P.S. The train is NOT an IC or ICE, so there is no on-board restaurant where I could theoretically get cutlery.

I bought a Bircher muesli on August 1st, 2022 around 3 p.m. When I wanted to eat it later on the train, I was met with a sour smell and bubbles. I then tried it and found that the muesli was spoiled and fermented. According to the packaging, this is until August 2nd. durable - an absolute joke and dangerous!

When I made my purchase a week ago, the wrong amount was entered into the terminal and I involuntarily paid twice as much. I pointed this out to the sellers and asked for a refund of the difference. Correct response: Apologize for the mistake and return the money immediately. Wrong (and unfortunately the actual) reaction: Discussing for a long time, being unreasonable and only believing the customer after he had to recalculate the error himself. Your staff probably needs long overdue training in customer service, or some characters should be replaced.

I was quite disappointed with my recent purchase. The Birchler Müsli was clearly moldy, although the issue only became apparent after tasting it—definitely unacceptable. Additionally, the sparkling water was completely flat. Unfortunately, I couldn't return the products as I had already boarded my train.

We also bought some Birchler muesli earlier and opened it on the train. One spoonful was enough to determine that it was absolutely bad. We had to throw it away!!

The sandwiches in the window are well stocked, but what you are served has NOTHING to do with the window. My wrap was almost empty: a tiny piece of avocado, 1 slice of tomato, 1/2 salad leaf and 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise. Scandalous. I absolutely advise against it!

What is the point of a deposit system if you don't give the customer the opportunity to return the bottles? Here only deposits are collected when purchasing.

Annoying! Since I couldn't see all of the Teke due to crowds, I asked what the vegan options were. Answer: Sweet potato or grilled vegetable sandwich. I chose the second option. It wasn't until I was on the train that I realized it wasn't a vegan sandwich!!! Cream cheese and cheese slices are included (although the website says mozzarella, but it's not!). Contents: Tomato, onion, rocket (which I don't like) and a bit of zucchini, but not grilled!!! Extremly bad. Please change the name or ingredients accordingly and explain to employees the difference between vegan and vegetarian.

Worst bunch of people servicing stale and bad food , they force you to buy items which are high priced and then refuse to return change in coins and ask you to buy more

I just got served a burnt chicken teriyaki wrap that cost 7,95€. I had opted for my wrap to be heated up but received a burnt one. When I asked the staff if I could get it changed. I was blamed and asked if I was going to eat the wrapper? Such irresponsible and juvenile behaviour.

Gave me a really warm smoothie in the middle of summer. They didn't have ice. Personnel was rude. Don't waste your money go to another Dean&David. Avoid Update: 5 years after the original review their law firm contacted me to take down this review. They employ these tactics to silence bad reviews. I guess they are not fans of true honesty.

München station doesn't offer anything for sitting down, the healthy option seems to be ordering from Dean and David. But the salad options are limited and the one purchased has no taste and the sauce offered with it is very greasy and completely lacking in interest.

I was at dean&david in the basement of the train station. The shop was completely empty. Process step 1) Despite the empty store, the employee pointed out to me that I should order on the screen (why?). -> The ordering process costs me more time, not less. Process step 2) the system then prints two receipts. One for me and one for the cash register. I understand where that comes from, but environmental friendliness is different. Process step 3) complete fail. "I'm sorry. “Unfortunately we don’t have what you ordered.” Process step 4) “Then give me something else and refund me the difference. This didn't happen again due to being completely overwhelmed and time running out. Process step 5) “You are welcome to talk to my boss about it” Let's see if she gets in touch with me...

Bought two Birscher muesli and they were inedible. Both were already fermenting as they were probably from the day before. Plus a sandwich where the bread fell apart and was soggy. This has nothing to do with freshly made and good quality. A pity.

On 22.09.2020 at 6:30 pm I went to order food at this establishment. Not only were the staff (2 gentlemen ) incredibly rude and tossing the food on the counter- but I was over charged for food I didn’t receive/order. I had to go back to request the item ( chia pudding) and wouldn’t have even noticed unless checking the bill. Honestly no one forced you to work a job- no one is asking for conversation and a smile- how about not just toss the PAYING customers food at them and over charge them with things they didn’t order... Highly recommend not eating here- food was fine but after that customer service was horrendous.

Vegan Falafel Bulgur Bowl is very dry and cold. The cucumber in there is fresh but the rest is not.

I don't have high expectations at the train station anyway, neither in terms of the staff nor the food. The flatbread was ok, the staff was unfriendly. But the muffin was still frozen, you really couldn't eat it.

Update: Dean&David is currently trying to use a marketing agency to remove his bad reviews with reference to a BGH ruling that does not apply. A fast food restaurant does not record customer names. Therefore, it is not possible to prove and verify whether you were ever a customer based on your name. In my opinion, this is an attempt to intimidate instead of delivering on quality. If the current customers were satisfied, the fundamentally bad rating would gradually change into a good one. But it doesn't. Unfortunately, the basic grade is now improving more and more because most users are intimidated and have their legitimate rating deleted because they are afraid of the consequences. Service was nice and quick. César Wrap tasted like nothing. Iceberg lettuce in the wrap wasn't the freshest either. It's too expensive for the quality.

The service is hectic and unfriendly, the grilled bread is lukewarm on the outside and cold on the inside, the ingredients are fresh!
