The pizza is really small and tastes really bad

The new bread they're using is really disgusting. It has no flavor and falls apart at the first bite – a tragedy. The meat tastes okay, but the standard fare is decent. Too much salad and the sauces are mediocre. Not recommended…

Unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment. The chaos began at the checkout – we ordered several meals and drinks, but everything was recorded in a completely random order (food, drink, food, drink) instead of in a structured manner. When I paid, none of my cards worked; the employee simply said the machine was "funny" but offered no solution. In the end, I had to pay in cash. When we went to the counter, the second employee didn't even know our order because he didn't have a slip from the cash register. So, we were asked for the same orders at least ten times – very unprofessional and extremely annoying. The food itself, unfortunately, wasn't a relief either: the doner kebab skewer was dry, the pizza dough wasn't particularly good. Overall, very questionable service and poor quality food. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

Yes, we went there as two Turkish girls and we were welcomed very well. The guy was funny, happy with his job and polite, and the food was amazing. I definitely recommend it (please don't disregard their feelings either, they can't always be happy, understanding is needed ☺️

We ate there for the first time and the staff were unfriendly. We ordered two pide with minced meat. Firstly, it took a long time. Secondly, he came over to us aggressively and asked if the device hadn't rung. We said no, that was our first moment of shock as he was just so unfriendly. We ate the food he had brought us. It was so disgusting. We didn't want to waste the food so we carried on eating it. There was so much tomato paste that we almost threw up. It tasted expired until my cousin noticed that there was just an insect on it and it was still so fat with its legs. Ugh, after that we lost all our appetite and felt so sick. Simply horrible. Never again.

Unfortunately, one of the worst kebabs I've ever eaten. The meat was very stringy, tough, and not at all tender – we left more than half of it because it simply didn't taste good. Positive: The staff were friendly. However, the process/service also deducted points: You order at the cashier, but don't hand over your order right away. Instead, you have to go back in line and tell the staff at the front what you want. This causes unnecessary waiting, even though the line wasn't particularly long. The fries and other items still took a while to cook, but were undercooked and cold. All in all, unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience; we won't be going back.

I don't understand all the reviews and have the feeling that you have eaten somewhere else. The staff are competent and always very friendly. The kebab here is really the best kebab in Ulm. The prices are the same as everywhere else. Student kebab costs 6 euros and normal kebab costs 7 euros. The vegetables are fresh and taste very good, not like in other shops that taste like nothing. The meat is one of the best in Ulm. It is juicy, high quality and well seasoned. The bread is nice and crispy. All in all, a 10/10. If I could, I would eat here every day.

I ordered a chicken doner kebab and paid by card. I was then asked to step aside a few steps, which I did. One of the employees (presumably the owner) then told me it would take a while because the chicken was still raw. Since I had to catch a bus, I stepped aside briefly to take a call – but I was nearby and kept an eye on the counter. The woman in front of me was also still waiting, and I could see that my food hadn't been prepared yet. When I returned to the counter, the man started blaming me for not having waited in the same place. I calmly explained that I hadn't been told beforehand that it would take 15 minutes and asked if I could have a vegetarian doner instead, as I was running out of time. Instead of accommodating me, he started shouting loudly and aggressively at me in front of everyone, repeatedly saying, "Go over there and stand!" His tone was very disrespectful, and I told him, "Finish it first, then I'll come." I remained calm and polite, but felt shocked and disrespected. This happened several times—even though the food still wasn't ready. Finally, he came back with the money and threw it at me. I stood there quietly and refused to take it, simply speechless. Then he came from behind the counter and became physically threatening, continued yelling, and had to be restrained by other people. This kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable—especially from a owner. I was calm and polite, expecting only clear communication and some respect. Instead, I was accused, yelled at, and almost physically attacked—just for waiting for my food, which I had already paid for.

I found the tone inappropriate and said I would not return until my food was ready. I eventually got my money back, but in a manner that I personally found disrespectful. Overall, the communication was not satisfactory. I hope future guests are treated better.

First and last visit. I paid and then didn't get what I actually wanted. The beef was available, but then it was suddenly brought to the back. So, only poultry was available, which I didn't actually want. No concessions, terrible place, sorry. And on top of that, I waited exactly 20 minutes with three people in front of me. Worst kebab in my life.

I absolutely cannot recommend it. The meat wasn't cooked through. It's been churning in my stomach all day, and I feel sick. We had a kebab box. The sauce was okay, but nothing special. The fries were like they were made with old oil. They were simply inedible. I threw the box away after 2-3 bites.

I don't recommend the shop because shortly after eating kebab and falafel, my partner and I had severe stomach pains and a high fever for two days. The salespeople were very polite, but it doesn't help at all...

I ate with my mother and brother at Donau Kebap in the Glacis Neu Ulm shopping center - two kebab plates, one with rice, one with fries, each for €14.00. Unfortunately the food overall was a big disappointment. The meat tasted cheap and not fresh, none of us could finish our plate. I only ate slowly from the beginning because I didn't like the taste - and then the shock: I suddenly had a bone about 5 cm long in my mouth. I went straight to the sellers and showed them the bone. Their reaction was unsympathetic - they defended themselves by saying the meat was being delivered and simply offered me a new portion. However, my appetite had completely disappeared at that point, which I made clear. I didn't get a refund, even though it was still clearly visible that I had barely touched the plate. For the price I expected much more - both in terms of quality and customer service. No recommendation from me!!

The Yaprak meat was good but it wasn't completely cooked. The kebab was made without feeling, the sauce was simply slapped on it and the salad etc. Nice employees hence the 3 stars.

The doner kebab box with fries was exquisite. The meat was tender and flavorful. The fries were crispy and flavorful. The staff were hospitable, and they prepared my meal with love. I highly recommend this kebab shop! 😋

I ate at this kebab shop with my daughter today. Shortly after eating, we both developed severe stomach aches and, later in the day, high fevers. We suspect the food was spoiled or harmful.

Never before had such a small yufka for €7.50. The toppings are just lettuce, cabbage, and onion, but it feels like you only get three leaves of everything. As a woman, I can never normally manage a whole yufka. I could easily have eaten two of them...

We've never eaten such a bad kebab. We ordered veal to go twice. The meat in both kebabs was completely gristly (unfortunately, that's probably not a coincidence). After the first few bites, you practically had to wait for the next piece of gristle with every bite... We threw the kebabs away after half. Inedible. Sorry...

We were there to have some soup, and after just one spoonful, we noticed that it had gone bad. After we returned the soup, we got our money back. From the kitchen, we heard the cook say, "Yes, it's bad, it's been sitting out overnight." The health department was informed. Something like that is a health hazard, especially if you know about it.

Huge portions, very tasty. Salads fresh and plentiful. Service quick and friendly. Very good value for money. We'll be happy to come back.

Never go there again. Had a special kebab and a kebab box with fries. Very unfriendly staff. At first we were made fun of and made fun of at the checkout, probably because we came across like "stupid Germans" who wanted to order an Ayran. The restaurant is in the Glacis shopping center in Neu-Ulm. The kebab tasted ok, nothing special, okay for €7. I would therefore choose a different meal in the food court next time.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this kebab. For this price, such a small kebab that is so stingy with meat is not possible at all. And the kebab shop owners are surprised that they are all put in one drawer. Because of higher purchasing prices and energy prices etc....You're just ripping off, that's all. And then your tone towards customers. Customer is standing in front of you, you are playing on your cell phones. And this one: "With everything?" annoying too. Our language is far more extensive. I really wanted your kebab because your shop looks modern and friendly from the outside, but your goods are a disaster... Absolutely NOT a recommendation. I bit a few times then had a big piece of cartilage in my mind...I gave the rest to my dog.

Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio is not right here at all - when a NORMAL kebab is so small, I don't want to have a student kebab... Unfortunately, it's also far too dry - good spiciness, but that's about it. For such a price, I know of larger and better filled kebabs

The staff are nice, but be prepared to wait half an hour for your food, and don't make the mistake of ordering fries, as they'll be cold and soggy by the time you get your food. The kebab isn't even particularly good; it wasn't worth it at all.

Fries are soggy, absolutely not tasty and all for a whopping €4. Around 1940 you couldn't get kebab anymore, even though there was leftover meat. Illogical justifications are presented as the reason.

I can only advise everyone not to eat anything here. Lahmacun with meat for 8 euros! The meat tasted watery and some of it contained hard, unchewable parts. The dough was like cardboard and also tasted strange. When I was eating it, I wasn't sure whether the product was still fresh and long-lasting. After 3 bites, the worst lahmacun I've ever eaten was thrown in the trash. I could have guessed that something wasn't right when a frozen half skewer was freshly hung up while I was waiting for my food. Dear kebab team, The prices are outrageous considering the poor quality you deliver. This has nothing to do with respect for food or for your guests. Handing something like that over to a customer...you should be ashamed of yourself. You really lose your appetite for kebabs and the like.

I had the pleasure of eating at Donau Kebab recently and I have to say it was an exceptional experience! Not only is the store clean and inviting, but the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The food itself was fantastic. The kebab was perfectly seasoned and the meat was juicy and tender. The selection of fresh ingredients and side dishes is impressive, and everything was fresh and high quality. Particularly worth mentioning is the homemade sauce, which gives the kebab that certain something. The price-performance ratio is also excellent. The prices are more than fair for the quality and quantity of the food. It is clear that a lot of emphasis is placed on customer satisfaction and quality here. I would highly recommend Donau Kebab to anyone looking for a great kebab. I will definitely come back!

Rarely have I eaten such a bad kebab box... Conclusion the box is not worth the money. I tried to at least eat the rice. but the meat just fat bobbl so disgusting.

I can say that it is the most delicious doner kebab I have ever eaten in Ulm. It offers a good service with both hygienic and friendly staff.

If the "normal" kebab is so small, then I wonder how small the kebab is for students :D(?). The kebab was mostly filled with salad, the rest was shreds of meat, unfortunately you hardly noticed the sauce. My partner and I weren't even full from the kebab, so we had to eat a little something afterwards. A pity.

First of all I would like to thank you for the rude manner. Here you are obviously discriminated against as a non-Arab or southern-looking woman. All men and women were served before me, even though I was second in line. Only when there were no other customers there did an assistant have to serve me. Nobody wanted to prepare my kebab for me. If I hadn't already paid, I would have left. Nobody wants to be treated racistly, people with migration should actually know that. Now about the food. The bread was thin and small. The meat lukewarm and tasteless. The lettuce was wilted and not fresh. All in all, never again.

Ich verstehe die Negativen Bewertungen nicht,ich war gestern Abend dort und habe mir ein Dürüm gekauft der Dürüm war warm das Fleisch auch und Salat war auch frisch und das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam.

Had a kebab plate for €13. This was the driest kebab meat I have ever eaten. Meat probably hung on the spit for a long time without being cut. Was hard like plastic. How can you offer something like that to customers? I don't understand. Salad and sauce were OK. Iskender plate 17€, prices are too expensive in relation to the quality. Thank you never again.

It couldn't be more unhygienic!!! One of the employees said to take out the chewing gum in his mouth with his fingers in front of the guests and continue to finish the orders.
