Dönaladn in Mülheim an der Ruhr

I've been going there regularly since the end of 2023. I can only say how awesome the "Dönadelphia" is. There are many other highlights there too, definitely something for everyone. But the dönadelphia is something truly special and absolutely outstanding. It may not be the best kebab in Germany, but it's not trying to be. It's really filling, which isn't something you can say about many kebab shops these days. The staff are also friendly and do their job well. The ambiance is really good. You feel comfortable. A 5th star for ambiance would come if they improved the outdoor area or did more with it. But otherwise, an absolutely top-notch shop. Many others could learn a thing or two from it!

Very tasty, in any case. Unfortunately, no smashburgers, again. That's a shame.

So this has nothing to do with a Dönadelphia anymore. I've been there many times and have often eaten a good Dönadelphia. But the product has really gone in the wrong direction. In the past, I would have said the price/performance ratio was excellent; today I would ask what kind of performance? Because that's absurd. The bread is soggy, the contents are cold, and there's zero umami. The burger meat is tough. Not again!!!

I've eaten at least three Dönerdelphias, and I've always loved the taste of them all. Today I wanted to eat a Dönerdelphia with my boyfriend. Unfortunately, the Dönerdelphia wasn't crispy at all and was a bit cold. My boyfriend laughed at me. Unfortunately, it had nothing to do with a Dönerdelphia, and the Smash Burger isn't particularly tasty either.

Had a Döner and a Phili. My first time, and it was delicious! I'd love to go again!

Great concept! Ordered a menu for two plus a Dönerdelphia. There were four of us, and we were more than full – and it was absolutely delicious! It's a shame there isn't anything like this in Stuttgart. Highly recommended!

The kebab was good value for money 👍🏻 However, it was way too spicy even without any seasoning - but that's a matter of taste. I really liked the ambiance and the selection on the menu 👍🏻

The dishes on offer are filling and the prices are reasonable. In the past, the doner meat was sometimes too fatty, but in the last few weeks, everything has been excellent. There's more than just the standard doner here. Great atmosphere, good music, I'll be happy to come back.

It was an experience. Overall: the food was delicious. Clean restrooms, although it was cold for us inside. Very loud music, and I find the prices a bit expensive.

A system kebab shop with a great concept and actually good taste. I can't complain; the portions are more than fair for the price these days! I enjoyed it. I've tried a regular kebab shop and the Dönaburga so far. Unfortunately, my kebab shop was completely overcooked and soggy on the bottom two out of two times. Therefore, only five stars for the food.

Super friendly service and worth a visit. We had the Döner Delphia – it wasn't really my thing with the cheese in the meat, but it was still tasty, fresh, and something different. The other dishes looked good too – unfortunately, the Döner only comes with veal. The snack bar is really cozy, clean, and even has air conditioning.

Unfortunately, we can't quite share the enthusiasm surrounding "Dönaladn." The doner kebab generally tastes good, but rather mediocre. We've had much more flavorful meat elsewhere. Furthermore, they don't offer chicken doner. The atmosphere is okay at best—it tends to be very loud.

The food is truly delicious. The restaurant is stylishly decorated. The staff is very friendly. Everything is clean and tidy. We'll be back and can recommend the place. Thanks for the food.

I don't understand the good reviews at all. The quality doesn't impress me at all, and I find the prices completely exorbitant. It makes you wonder what they're charging such exorbitant prices for. Many snack bars offer much better quality.

Waited 1 hour for 2 doner kebabs and a fries and staff just talking

The meat, of course, isn't particularly high-quality, or rather, it contains a lot of ground meat, but the dürüm and doner kebabs still taste amazing, not least because of the sauces. The staff were also friendly and cheerful.

One of the best doner kebabs in the Ruhr area! The selection of sauces is excellent, and the vegetables are finely diced. They also added extra cheese and pepperoni. The doner is truly delicious!

Menu 2 The currywurst with fries was disappointing, the sausage was cheap pressed meat, the fries were limp and the curry sauce was too runny and overly sweet. The kebab sandwich reached only mediocre standards with tasteless meat. Given this poor quality, the hefty price of €17 for the meal seems completely unreasonable and excessive. A culinary failure not worth the money.

I waited far too long! The doner meat was terrible; after a while, I just felt disgusted to keep eating it. I didn't recommend it.

Very good selection and nice employees

First of all, the food is absolutely top-notch! Very tasty and highly recommended. However, there are a few points of criticism: The music in the restaurant is so loud that my companion had trouble placing her order and asking questions. Then, card payments weren't possible. And the prices are also quite high. We'll see how it is next time.

We were passing through and had to try the shop since we've been seeing a lot of it on social media for the past year. The staff are super friendly and polite. The atmosphere is great. But the food... well, the marketing is great. But the food is just too standard for me and comparable to other kebab shops. I tried the kebab toast and my wife tried the kebab Delphia and chicken fingers. To each their own, but unfortunately I can only give it 3 stars. But I can still recommend it.

Went to the Dönaladn when we were driving through because of the TikTok videos. I have to say it's really something different but the taste wasn't really my thing. In terms of taste, it wasn't worth the hype, but of course it's up to you as you like. The food came very quickly and the employees were all very nice.

There may be better kebabs, but there are guaranteed to be many worse ones. I tried the Delphi kebab and I really liked it. The only point of criticism was the packaging in a Styrobox. At home the bread was soggy.

Employees are cool. Are honest about waiting times. The burgers are below average. It's not a burger shop... Donadelphia variants are all great. I can recommend it with a clear conscience.

Best Dona in town. Döna Delphia is super delicious. The portions are huge. Price/performance ratio is more than good. Unfortunately there are also a few negative points: If you're unlucky, the store will be packed and it can take 30 minutes. The parking situation could also be better. The store is modern and clean, but because of the very loud hip-hop sound system, the ambience has a point deducted. Definitely a recommendation!

I visited the kebab shop twice, but unfortunately never ordered anything because the waiting times were incredibly long. Both times I had to stand in the store for almost 10 minutes before I was even spoken to. The employees didn't seem particularly motivated or organized. But the worst part was that on the second visit I had to wait over 3 hours for my food! Yes, you read that right - over 3 hours! And this for an order that should actually be quick and easy to process: a simple portion of fries! This is absolutely unacceptable and shows that the kebab shop is clearly unable to process their orders efficiently. I hope that Döner Bude addresses its issues and improves to provide a better experience for future customers. Otherwise an extraordinarily beautiful place

Ordered kebab and dürüm to take away. The food tasted very good and the meat was also of good quality. However, it appeared on site that the ordering processes were uncoordinated, which in turn led to avoidably longer waiting times. The most important thing is that the food tasted very good and I would therefore consider visiting again.

Thin whistle kebab. I ordered a doner delphia and still have diarrhea to this day, the meat tasted like a mixture of bratwurst and tuna. Luckily, because of the ton of cheese and the finished sause, you didn't taste that much of the meat. The kebab was completely soggy and falling apart. Such a trend invites the only people who are satisfied with the inferior quality of the meat and other ingredients are people who don't know what a good kebab tastes like.

Super delicious food and always friendly service! Whether it's a kebab or a burger, everything is fresh, well seasoned and really tasty. The portions are generous and the quality is right every time. I really enjoy eating here and can only recommend the shop. Always a pleasure

It has nothing to do with a real doner kebab. The salad is fresh, the sauce is okay, and the meat is bottomless. It's just a cheap skewer of minced meat.

Although this place is far from the center, I was surprised by the number of visitors. I came here at 8:30pm and got my food more than an hour later. I ordered Döna Delphia. Yes, I waited a long time, but the taste was worth it. Everything was delicious, especially the juicy meat. I think the whole problem with serving is due to the small kitchen area and a little disorganization of the staff. Nevertheless, I will definitely come back and recommend everyone to come here. Absolute recommendation from me 👍🏻 The food is great and, even though the shop was completely full, things moved quickly and the waiting time was bearable. The Delphia, however, resembles a Philly cheese steak sandwich more than a classic kebab, but that's exactly what we really, really liked and enjoyed. Also an extra big compliment for the on-site boss... The promise was that if the food was too spicy for my grandson, he would prepare something different for us free of charge and that's what happened. The little one got something else without hesitation! I think it's absolutely top service and it's no longer a matter of course these days. All in all we were very satisfied and will definitely come back to eat again.

Unfortunately there is no positive comment here, although the prices were increased within 2 weeks. Among other things, the kebab was much smaller than in the videos and other people in the restaurant were preferred and got larger portions. Long waiting time even though the store was empty. Employees were very forgetful. The To Good to Go program was also a complete disaster. Employees didn't even know what they were getting. My friend ordered something from the program but after a long wait it turned out that they couldn't make kebab and assured him that he would get a double portion the next day, but that never happened and he had to pay the full amount. Nobody answers when you call the number given on Google and in the store they say that you can't eat without a reservation. There are hardly any parking spaces, especially at times like iftar or similar. I don't even want to start with the prices

The only thing that was good was the music, the rest were overhyped, we waited almost 2 hours, the food was ok, the citizens were too dry and hardly harmonized with the sauce for the price, the menu was pure extortionate for 20€ and there were a few fries included Pure usury. Had to pick up the food ourselves after 2 hours while the ladies were being served with kissing hands.

I've been there three times now and have tried everything because of all the advertising. -> Conclusion: The ideas like Delphia, Dönatoast, etc. are not only cool, but also work! But despite the very awesome presentation of the food, it unfortunately doesn't taste as amazing as it looks. This is largely due to the fact that the kebab meat is of much lower quality compared to the rest, which means that at Delphia, for example, you only taste like cheese, which is a shame because it would be extremely bad with better meat. In addition, the price/performance ratio is unfortunately not quite right. Normal kebab price is ok for NRW conditions, but for the other things it's less. The Delphia, for example, weighs less than the normal kebab, but costs €2 more, or the menus, which would cost a maximum of €17 instead of €19 everywhere else. Can understand it a bit though due to taxes etc. The staff and atmosphere are now very good to excellent. It's a shame that I never met Mo there :( (But that's irrelevant to the rating) 7 - 7.5 | 10

I wish they would put on their own doner kebabs. Their hot sauce is like a very sugary ketchup. I think it appeals to the German palate. I'm surprised it was liked so much

We had to wait quite a long time for our food. 30 minutes for a kebab is too long.

It was my first time there from Münster, until then I thought we liked it but the food didn't taste like anything. The fries were really dry and strange. The store itself wasn't bad, but instead of turning on the winter heating, they didn't turn on the heating, they turned on the air conditioning and it was even colder than outside. So, I wouldn't recommend this shop at all for €40 for two kebabs, two fries and two drinks. This is awesome...

We were there for the first time today and we loved it! DÖNALADN in Mülheim offers an innovative interpretation of traditional kebab dishes. Very tasty food, very nice staff, the shop is small but still very nice. Parking is sometimes a problem, depending on what time you go the whole street is full. Weddings are often held right next door, which unfortunately also takes up a lot of parking spaces. But as long as you don't go during working hours while the industrial area is in use or you go on a Friday evening, it's not a problem. If you park a little further away you will definitely get a parking space. The food is also very, very good in terms of price-performance ratio. The food is very filling and you can try out a lot of new things that you can't find anywhere else. The creations are truly unique and recommended to everyone. All in all, definitely a recommendation and I can only recommend it to anyone who comes from the area.

I was in this shop twice today, the first time I was there it was 9:40 p.m. and they told me that they had already cleaned and put away the kebab, today I was here twice after that Work at 9 p.m. because now I've been told that the kebab is gone and I can have everything except kebab and meat. Why do I come there to eat kebab? Very rude staff. Never again. They close at 10 p.m. and there's no kebab at 9 p.m. They can copy something from the others. Every pizza shop and kebab shop is open until 11 p.m. impudence.

After eating, my friends and I were super thirsty that night! All three of us had Menu Anders II (Döna Delphia). I think it was the cheese. Because it was my first time there, I obviously didn't know what was going to happen. I think it would be nicer to take more time with customers instead of giving them a number and sending them away until the food is ready. Unfortunately the curry sauce wasn't for us either. The sauces weren't much different than others. Ambiance is nice. You hardly have any service because you just order and at some point someone clears away. However, I don't know what the other food tastes like but I can say one thing! Because of the Döna Delphia, I don't feel like eating a kebab at first.

As soon as you enter the store, you'll notice the warm atmosphere - the employees are not only friendly, but also incredibly attentive. Something over-hyped internet phenomenon. Price-performance is really very lukewarm. Nice atmosphere and great team but the kebab was certainly one of the worst in recent years, bread breaks, fat drips out, salad/meat ratio not right.

Had dinner there for the first time today. You can actually quickly find a parking space through the long street. The ambience is definitely painstakingly prepared. I like the heavy wooden tables and the high-quality seating. There is even a little corner for couples with pink armchairs, very cute. The employee who served us was very friendly and patient! It's always surprising how much the friendliness of the employees influences the entire experience. Unfortunately the music is very loud but maybe that's just my opinion. I can imagine that teenagers like that kind of thing. I ordered this kebab delphia and Winna fries with chicken. The kebab was very tasty, but next time I will order it without the cheese sauce because it is really very spicy, too spicy for my taste and drowns out the taste experience. In the menu this sauce is not labeled as spicy, perhaps that should be changed. At first it wasn't clear to me whether you had to clean up after dinner yourself or not. A few people had left their trays behind, whether out of ignorance or on purpose: I have no idea. In any case, it looks unsightly and creates additional work for the employees, so it's best to just clear it up yourself. This kebab delphia is steep for 9.50, but at least the excellent kebab meat is not served with it. :) Definitely has soul food potential. Next time I will try the burger. Unfortunately, this burger bread was no longer there today, which is definitely excusable on Boxing Day, as a relatively young shop you can't foresee how much traffic will come. I think we know for next year now :) All in all, highly recommended.

We were in this branch for the second time on November 23rd, 2024 and wanted to eat the “doner kebab toast” again. But the employee told us that there was no longer any toast. It was a Saturday shortly after 6 p.m., I think you could have bought toast bread 🥲🫠We then decided on a “Döna Burger” and a “Dönadilla”. Unfortunately there were too many jalapeños in the tortilla so I had to take them out. In my opinion, the ratio between meat and the rest was simply not right. There should have been a little more meat and fewer jalapeños. Therefore a point deducted for the food. The fries were very tasty and the portion was more than enough. The two of us couldn't even finish it all. The burger was also delicious and had a lot of meat on it. Unfortunately, the women's toilet was very dirty and wet. The trash can was already overflowing with paper towels. That's why I'm deducting a star from Ambience. Despite some criticisms, we would go there again and again just for the kebab toast😋🤌🏼 (hopefully there will be enough toast)

I'm a passionate griller. And far too often you are served overpriced, poorly made burgers. But NOT here. Very cool smashburgers at absolutely fair prices. The Döna is also quite usable. Also an appealing ambience. If the boys continue like this it will remain solid.
