The waiter would have benefited from a smile and the starter and tagliatelle had far too much garlic. Unfortunately not recommended.

There is still room for improvement in all areas... The pizza we ordered was bone dry (and I actually thought there wasn't much that could go wrong), even the child left the Convinience Schnitzel and it didn't matter whether it was eggplant or pasta - everything was drowned in a not-too-tasty cheese sauce. The service would have benefited from a smile and the chairs would have benefited from upholstery without stains or holes. All in all, we were rather disappointed with this visit.

We wanted to eat at Don Camillo's. We came into the store, everything was still free except for 3-4 tables. We were told that nothing was available. We were very surprised because everything was still free. A “sorry, unfortunately all tables are already reserved” would have been more appropriate. The woman behind the counter didn't even ask if we wanted to eat at their place or take away. I find it really outrageous to simply say that everything is occupied. They didn't even really approach us. Really a shame!

Very cozy, great staff, really delicious food. Full marks! THAT WAS A YEAR AGO! Last week: No service! We (6 guests) were not asked once in 2 1/2 hours whether we were satisfied or would like something more to drink. (We had ordered a drink at the very beginning). I ordered schnitzel with cream sauce and coquettes and got dark sauce and oversalted fries. Only one person at the table got a side salad and that only upon request. At 9:25 p.m. we were asked to pay. We then went to another restaurant and spent our money there! I'm really disappointed because I felt so comfortable last time.

Disappointing, unfortunately. I ordered Scaloppine in mushroom sauce and green pepper. The menu said that the meat dishes were served with 2 side dishes. However, the dish only came with Pomeranians, which were also oversalted. No trace of a salad or vegetable side dish. The meat was also a bit dry. In any case, the medallions didn't taste like fillet, but like they were cut from salmon. Drinks were a bit too warm, the tables were sticky and the cleanliness of the toilets also left something to be desired. The friendliness of the staff can also be improved, especially that of the older gentlemen. It's a shame actually.

I have never met a better innkeeper. Very familiar, always friendly and almost anything is possible. The menu is extensive, but the easiest way is to say what you're hungry for and get the best advice. Always fresh products, very tasty prepared. The prices are more than fair and, if you like, you can also get plenty of ouzo on the house. You can also organize celebrations there very well. Highly recommended!

How do you write Italian Cuisine When You Don't Know the Difference Between Penne and Rigatoni!!!! They are not, for the People, who despite not being ITALIAN, open places with an Italian menu... until they really know how to cook... but in this place I ate the worst pasta, (ordered Rigatoni and received Meta Rigatoni Meta penne) with raw crabs, I don't even know how to describe the sauce, all this on a plate with all the edges broken!!!!!The waitress, despite knowing that it wasn't good, didn't add anything, she wasn't even interested!! !! THIS IS A SHAME!!!! TOWARDS ITALIAN CUISINE ONE OF THE BEST IN THE WORLD!!!!! IF I COULD NOT HAVE EVEN ONE STAR I WOULD HAVE GIVEN!!!!!

Were treated unkindly. Mayo was already rancid in the bottle (lidl). Sat outside in a very drafty corner. Meat not seasoned and incomplete. You won't see us again. thanks for nothing

There were 6 people there yesterday. We were seated outside on a covered patio that was closed. It was cool and the fan was on. We want mayonnaise for fries and got a mayonnaise from Lidl which was bad. We waited until we told a waitress that mayonnaise was bad. We were then given a new mayonnaise for a few minutes. But then we don't need any more

Unfriendly staff didn't have everything on the plate that was supposed to be there, had to ask, mayo was rancid, how can you put something like that on the table and never see it again

Unfortunately, the staff was extremely overwhelmed, it was incredibly loud and the door next to us was opened with a direct view of the garbage cans, which caused a lot of noise. Of the five wines on the menu, only one was available, but this also reflects the general menu. We must have heard “we don’t have it there” five times… the side salad was a disaster! The one Coke that my brother ordered was only brought after the third request, and another side salad, which was forgotten, was only brought 30 minutes later. Just like my aunt's food, which was first brought incorrectly and then only after the rest of the family had almost eaten it. If you asked about it you were immediately told off! The salt and pepper or the sauce for the asparagus only came after the 4th!!! I asked with a very annoyed look from the waitress. Unfortunately none of us really liked the food in general, it was at best ok. We've been there twice now and it was a disaster both times.

Good and, above all, affordable food and drink. Here you can get steaks, pizza, pasta. The cheapest pizzas for €8 upwards to steak for €23 with side dishes. Drink like you would at other comparable places. Nice service staff. The ambience is ok, you can tell here and there that the place is getting old. But it has been partly modernized. On days when there is a lot going on, it can take longer for the food to arrive. You can park in front of the door or opposite at the Chinese (Yellow River) There are also high chairs for children, but unfortunately no play area.

If you value ambience, you have to eat somewhere else. But we were served in a friendly manner. Drinks were also served quickly. The price is also full, okay. Unfortunately the food was served with a delay. I thought my dish (canneloni) tasted good. All in all it was a nice evening.

We are regulars. Word has gotten around in Paderborn about warm hosts and an excellent price/performance ratio. Fish, meat, pizza, pasta... everything was delicious! Highly Recommended !

We ate the pizza here and it was excellent! The staff is very nice and personable. I think the owner (I didn't ask who he is 🙈) just came up to us to welcome us into our home. From this you know that they are not typical Germans and therefore probably actually know how to cook Italian food.

We ate here for the first and last time today. We had made a reservation, but no one welcomed us in the restaurant, so instead we had to find our way to our table on our own. While we were taking off our jackets we were asked what we wanted to drink. When we sat down and ordered drinks, we weren't asked whether it should be a large or small drink. I had ordered a steak, and here too it would have been nice to ask how you would like it fried. When I asked for a sauce to go with my side dish (potatoes), it was simply put over the steak instead of the potatoes. I then let the plate go back to change that. The service person was noticeably annoyed, told me that it would take longer, but agreed in the end. I assume that the steak was just washed off because I got the plate back after 2 minutes and the steak had the same firmness as before. This time the sauce was on a separate plate, the edge was smeared with sauce all over, the potatoes were now cold and my steak was tough and unseasoned. After the food was served, no one came to ask if there were any further requests or if everyone was satisfied with their food. (I went to the waitress because of the steak.) Since we only got a small drink at the beginning, after a short time we had nothing to drink during the meal. Here, too, we approached the staff ourselves and asked for more drinks. All in all, the service wasn't there, and unfortunately the food wasn't good for other family members either. A bottle of ketchup from Lidl was placed on the table with the fries; small bowls could have been used here. Maybe it was an isolated case, maybe it was because there were two other larger companies running alongside us and day-to-day business. However, there are many reasons for us not to come back. But I would like to give one plus point for the prices. If you don't expect very high cuisine, you can eat here relatively cheaply.

Just ordered a Jägerschnitzel to take away with fries. The fries had no seasoning and just tasted like cardboard. The "hunter's sauce" had nothing to do with a hunter's sauce just because there were a few mushrooms in it, and it was extremely sour...I strongly assume that it was bad because I was sitting on the toilet 30 minutes later. I've eaten there twice so far and both times were great.

Leider war die Bedienung schläfrig, hat die Suppe vergessen und zum Lamm statt Gorgonzolasauce Tomatensauce geliefert, geschmeckt hat es allerdings gut, wenn auch anders als gewünscht!

Haben zum Abholen bestellt. Nach 20min konnten wir das Essen abholen. Die Pizza leider mit Dosen Champignons belegt, die Pasta mit Pesto hatte leider nicht viel Geschmack und hat an einer Buttermischung mit Petersilie erinnert. Die Pizzabrötchen waren komplett kalt und lagen vermutlich schon länger rum

Wir waren am Dienstag das erste Mal da essen und es war unbeschreiblich lecker haben nach langem so eine leckere Pizza gegessen und der Fisch war auch super zubereitet worden und euer Pizza Brot war mal anderes lecker die knoblauch Soße war mega lecker 😋 😋 😋 😋 Personal war sehr freundlich ..weiter so liebes Don camillo Team ihr macht eure arbeit sehr gut 👍Wir kommen aufjedenfall wider..lg

Wir waren heute zum Mittagessen. Wir hatten gegrillte Lachs und Seezungenfile mit Artischocke und Kapern, vegetarische Antipasti Teller, Salat. Hat uns absolut alles super lecker geschmeckt. Der Umgang und die Bedienung war erste klasse, sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Sehr empfehlenswert. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Leider nicht mehr gut, schade. Service hat übel nachgelassen! Ich hatte die Paar Pommes zum Schnitzel schnell weg und mir noch welche bestellt. Die kamen dann eine halbe Stunde nicht, obwohl ich mehrmals dran erinnert habe. Dafür hat man in der Zeit mehrmals versucht, meiner Frau und mit das kalt werdende Essen auch noch vor der Nase wegzunehmen. Als dann die kleine Bedienung mit der Brille noch versuchte, uns die Majo vom Tisch zu entführen, während ich mal wieder meine Pommes erwähnte, ging sie laut pöbelnd wieder Rein. Da hatten wir dann keine Lust mehr! Wir haben Bezahlt und sind Raus. Die extra Portion Pommes stand natürlich schon auf der Rechnung - die haben wir dann noch stornieren lassen.

Immer wieder eine gute Wahl. Super Service, leckeres Essen und preislich völlig in Ordnung.

Recht unscheinbar am Rande von Paderborn liegt dieses leckere italienische Restaurant. Der Chef ist sehr nett, das Personal freundlich und die Tageskarte wirklich lecker.

Typische Italienische Pizzeria, man kann gut hinten auf einer Art Terrasse sitzen und essen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und schnell. Meine Pizza hat sehr gut geschmeckt, ein Grillteller stand auf einer Extrakarte und war nicht sooo lecker. Die Pommes allerdings top, knusprig und perfekt gewürzt. Alles in allem ein Italiener wo man hin gehen kann

Gehen nicht ans Telefon, legen einfach auf oder den Hörer daneben....dann Leitung nicht erreichbar...also...haben wohl genug Kunden vor Ort

Normalerweise gebe ich keine Kommentare ab. Wir machen gerade Urlaub in Paderborn und waren wir super happy mit unserer Wahl. Die Auberginen - Vorspeise fanden wir sehr sehr lecker. Und wir wurden sehr freundlich und herzlich bedient. Einfach klasse!

Waren gestern das erste Mal da Essen, und waren richtig geschockt, Saltimbocca war eine Zumutung: Fleisch zäh , Geschmacklos, ohne frischen Salbei! Einfach grausam, haben kaum etwas runter bekommen! Die Bedienung darauf angesprochen, dass es gar nicht schmeckt, gab es nur Schulter Zucken . Nie wieder

Absolut top Lokal. Alle Gerichte schmecken vorzüglich. Sehr freundliches Personal. Preis/Leistung absolut top. Bin Gast seit über 20 Jahren und gehe jedesmal wieder gerne hin. Absolut zu empfehlen.

Das Lokal besticht durch seine Frische und die Freundlichkeit. Die Küche hat die Bestellung sehr schnell umgesetzt. Zuvor gab es noch Pizzabrot mit hausgemachten Aioli.

Wir waren Abends mit 4 Personen im Don Camillo und Peppone. Über den Service kann man nichts negatives sagen. Alles verlief reibungslos. Wir hatte verschiedene Pizzen wie auch andere Tellergerichte bestellt. Die Pizzen waren in Ordnung wobei das angepriesene Gyros nicht wirklich etwas mit einem griechischen Gyros gemeinsam hatte. Die Tellergerichte wie z.B. Vitello Tonnato blieben jedoch stark hinter den Erwartungen zurück. Da gibt es bessere Italiener in Paderborn. Was man allerdings sagen muss ist, dass das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut ist. Gerade was die Pizzen betrifft.

Bisher 3 mal da gewesen. Das Fleisch kommt super gebraten vom Grill und der Fisch frisch von der Eistheke. Gerne wieder!

wir sind seid 17 Jahren Stammkunden und wir sind immer zufrieden, das ganze Team ist so herzlich und sind für uns schon Freunde geworden. Es muss auch nicht nach Karte bestellt werden, man äußert seinen Wunsch und es wird umgesetzt. Der schöne Biergarten ist einfach klasse im Sommer.

Ich kann die o.g. Bewertung des Volker Z absolut nicht verstehen und auch so nicht akzeptieren. Wir waren auch am 7.1.18 dort zum Essen (zur Info: wir gehen seit 17 Jahren 1-2 mal die Woche dort essen) und das Essen war wie immer 1a. Die Behauptungen des Volker Z sind völlig aus der Luft gegriffen und entsprechen in keinster Weise der Wahrheit. Ob Schnitzel, Steaks, Fisch, Nudeln oder Pizza, wir haben dort alles schon gegessen und waren immer sehr zufrieden und wir werden auch die nächsten Jahre dort essen gehen. Daher verstehe ich die Bewertung des Volker Z nicht und kann auch nicht glauben das er wirklich dort war. Er meinte bestimmt ein anderes Restaurant und hat sich bei der Wahl des Lokals geirrt. Kann ja passieren. Don Camillo 5 von 5 Sternen!!!!

1) Das Essen eine Unverschämtheit: Schnitzel frittiert aus der Lidl,Netto,Aldi-Packung, dazu kalt. 2) Pommes - Fett urlat, kalt (3-Personen haben probiert) 3) Steak ( medium bestellt - vielleicht lernt der Koch noch!) 4) Lasagne ( 2-mal bestellt - so heiß das es keiner Essen kann - 10 Min warten war angesagt) 5) Zalanderfilet - ( so Sauer dass es keiner Essen kann - ) 6) Macht diesen Drecksladen einfach zu!!!! 7) Jede Pommesbude liefert Qualität - euer Abzockerladebn ist das letzte!!!! 8) Habt ihr die anderen Bewertungen selber geschrieben???? 9) z.Bsp. Wir kommen regelmässig wegen dem frischen Fisch und den günstigen Preisen. Ambiente ist geschmackvoll, der Service nett und aufmerksam. Wiederholungsgefahr 100 % auch für Erst-täter.

Eigentlich ein Geheimtipp und ich habe lange lange geschwiegen...aber inzwischen müssen auch wir am Wochenende reservieren. Also vom Namen her ist DON CAMILLO UND PEPPONE ja ein ITALIENISCHES Restaurant. Aber die Familie sind Aramäer d.h. Christen die vor Jahren aus der Türkei geflohen sind. Gabriel der Chefkoch,Manuel der Pizzabäcker,Barbara,Celina und Marius im Service und Johannes am Lavasteingrill.... alles Experten auf ihrem Gebiet. Wer frischen Fisch wie Dorade,Seewolf,Lachs liebt ist hier genau richtig. Steaks,Spagetti,Pizza auch zum mitnehmen wenn man nicht alles schafft. Dazu Couscous,Pommes,Kartoffeln oder Gemüse und Salat.Alles sehr lecker und liebevoll zubereitet. Mein Tipp: Nicht in die Karte schauen sondern Fragen! Wild im Winter, Spargel in der Saison,Lamm vom Grill im Sommer draussen im Biergarten.

Wir waren mit Freunden am vergangenen Sonntag zu Gast bei Inhaber Gabriel und seiner Familie. Sie geben sich die größte Mühe, ausgewählte Speisen schnell und günstig zuzubereiten. Das Restaurant verfügt über ca. 70 Sitzplätze. Im Gastraum befindet sich eine Kühltruhe in der die frischen Meeresspeisen direkt ausgewählt werden können. Gold-Dorade, Tintenfisch, Seibling, Seewolf, Lachs, Thunfisch sowie saisonal Muscheln und viele andere Fischgerichte stehen zur Auswahl. Zusätzlich gibt es eine ganze Reihe von Fleischgerichten, sowie als besondere Spezialität Steak- und Pizza-/Pasta-Gerichte. Die Zubereitung erfolgt auf einem Lavastein-Grill oder im Steinofen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist extrem günstig. Obwohl der Inhaber Gabriel keinerlei Werbung macht und trotz der Randlage von Paderborn kommen sehr viele Stammgäste, sowie auch Gäste von weit entfernt, die auf Empfehlung kommen. Auch die Angebote an alkoholischen Getränken ist sehr groß. Man fühlt sich sehr willkommen. Oft finden auch Essen von Gruppen, Firmen oder Familienfesten statt in den geschmackvoll eingerichteten Räumlichkeiten statt. Die Portionen sind sehr großzügig bemessen, ein Doggy-Bag wird gerne erstellt. Hier fällt es leicht, zum Stammkunden zu werden.
