Don Camillo in Meppen

It was my first time there and I have to say it was top-notch, hence the 5 stars. I ordered several pizzas to take away. The pizza was well-topped and very tasty. The staff were very friendly and in a really good mood. That's very rare these days. I'll definitely be back.

Delicious pizzas, and the prices are very reasonable. We had to get our own drinks, but otherwise, it's a nice restaurant with everything neat and tidy, even the restrooms were clean. Unfortunately, the neighborhood was full of young people in overpriced cars, speeding back and forth at the intersection in front of the terrace. Nevertheless, highly recommended; good service and delicious food at a very affordable price.

A very nice shop and the food is also great and the boss is always in a good mood so you have to bring a good mood with you.

We ate here on the recommendation of friends. The bread was good (pizza dough) and the sauce on the kebab too. However, I was missing the typical selection of ingredients for a kebab. The meat was acceptable. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is acceptable. Overall, the food was good but unfortunately not a typical kebab for me.

Actually always been satisfied. But recently dissatisfied. You order kebab with everything on it. Just iceberg lettuce. No cucumbers, tomatoes, onions. It's already become expensive, so everything has to be included. I'm slowly getting tired of getting a kebab there. It can only be done properly when the boss is there, otherwise it won't work.

Doner kebab with special sauce is the best. Pizza is ok as far as I can tell. But whenever I'm in Meppen I have to have a kebab at Don Camillo's

Otherwise we were always extremely satisfied. This time the kebab was very good. But unfortunately the pizzas were far too dry.

First of all: The pizzas were great, the atmosphere was good despite what felt like 50°C behind the counter and that paired with fluffy pizzas. I think that's cool! And now I would like to address the operators directly: I had to wait there for a long time, although as an unaffected guest I was able to experience a complaint from another guest. I can confirm that as a guest you have to justify yourself at length when making a complaint - you often read that in the reviews here. From the guest's point of view, I find this very unpleasant; for me this would be a no-go. If you as a company give in, which is a good thing (!), then do so without “opening such a barrel”! Ultimately, the customer feels valued and comes back. I can well imagine that you have already lost some customers because you like to discuss it. If you discuss, please only do so in such a way that the customer understands that you want to improve the discourse through his evaluation. Which, by the way, is also absurd: including foreign guests in this discussion. Let that go and show your best customer-friendly side and your customers will be happy to pay a euro more in the future! Good luck! You have talent!

Always satisfied so far, but not the last time. Criticisms Gr. Pita pocket for €9.50 - size OK but still quite expensive... only cash payment possible.. The main point of criticism: the gyro was quite coarsely cut, not cooked through as desired and gristly! I spoke to the boss, who wanted to show me that everything was great, but after I instructed him to ask for my money back, which wasn't a problem.

I ordered a pizza there and there was a black short hair in the pizza. Really disgusting!!! After I pointed this out, it was trivialized with an o sorry... Not recommended.

It's simply the best kebab in the area. Not a typical kebab but a completely unique one. Pizzas and pastas are also great. Simply the best shop and the boss himself is simply cult. ♥

Hair in food! Brought pizza back straight away and then I have to assume that they had made it all up. Absolute impudence. Not recommended.

Very easy, I always get small gyros pariente from time to time, or small. Gyros picante, very good price/performance ratio for many years, KEEP IT UP!!!

My favorite pita. The pita sauce is an experience in itself and brings back the vibes from my youth.

Das Lokal ist ein Imbiss mit Selbstbedienung. Getränke nur in Flaschen mit Pappbecher. Lange Wartezeiten. Für Pizza ca. 45 Minuten

Hatten einen Gyros-Teller. Mega leckeres Fleisch, Pommes knusprig, Salat gut und das Tsaziki, war das Beste, was ich bisher gegessen habe. Vom Ambiente her eher ein Imbiss, als ein Restaurant, aber im Aussen Bereich hat man sich Mühe gegeben. Unser Hund war mit, es stand sogar Wasser bereit. Preis-Leistung mehr als fair. Freundliches Personal. Kleiner Parkplatz gleich nebenan.

Toller Ort zum Essen, direkt neben dem Schwimmbad. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut und eine riesige Auswahl ist auch vorhanden. Vor Ort ist draußen oder drinnen essen möglich. Auch draußen genug Sonnenschutz vorhanden.

Der meiner meinung nach Beste Döner-Laden in ganz Meppen, Dass essen ist sehr lecker und hat noch nie enttäuscht. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr Freundlich. Nur negativ finde ich, dass man lange wartezeiten hat und nicht mit Bank- bzw. Kreditkarte zahlen kann

Sehr lecker und riesen Portionen. Ist mehr ein Imbiss und dementsprechend auch das Ambiente. Aber sehr freundlich. Das eine war Gyros mit Salat und das andere Gyros mit Pommes.

Leckere Gerichte, besonders wenn man sie abholt bzw. liefern lässt. Das Ambiente in der Pizzeria ist halt mehr Imbiss. Personal ist nett und bis jetzt war die Bestellung auch immer korrekt.

Moin ich hatte dort Gyros Pita und Pizza Salami und es war sehr lecker. Was auch wohl der Grund für die etwas längere Wartezeit ist aber das muss man bei einem guten und preiswerten Produkt in Kauf nehmen. Die Pizzeria ist sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet. Der Service ist freundlich und möglichst schnell.
