Friendly staff, food was very good. The gluten-free pizza we ordered was also very good, and we didn't experience any problems, such as stomach aches, etc.

The food was delicious and prepared super quickly. All in all, a great visit, but I lost one star 🌟 because my little daughter only wanted spaghetti with ketchup, and charging the full price for spaghetti Bolognese (I think €14.90) is unfair in my opinion. Perhaps they could have adjusted the price a bit. My pizza and my wife's pasta were delicious.

The three of us were there yesterday and sat down at one of the empty, yet-cleared tables. The owner came over and said they'd already found a seat on their own and he didn't have time to serve us. If we wanted to stay, it would take a long time. We then got up and headed for the exit. He called after us, saying he didn't care to see us again. I've never encountered such a badly behaved rascal. We'll be giving this place a wide berth in the future.

Super friendly and delicious pizza in a nice ambience

Great! We're not familiar with the area and were looking for a place to have lunch in Meppen. We were warmly welcomed at the restaurant even shortly before the lunch hour ended. The lunch menu offers a variety of dishes at unbeatable prices, truly delicious, absolutely fantastic! Our meals each consisted of a side salad, a medium pizza, and a drink. If we're back in Meppen, we'll definitely stop here again. Highly recommended!

By god wallah one of the worst Italian restaurants I've ever been to. Pizza was completely black on the bottom and way too hard. The waiter was completely annoyed and overwhelmed with the orders. I'll never come here again. The children were also disappointed.

Somewhat atmosphereless pizzeria. Both the starter and the main course were quite tasteless. Toast of starter was burnt and the main course spaghetti with beef strips was very greasy and tasteless.

I can only say 5/5☆ We went here spontaneously and wanted to have dinner. We were greeted very politely and despite no table reservation, the boss assigned us a table. All the employees are very polite, friendly and you get the feeling that they live their job. The food was great, we had tagliatelle with chicken in a cheese cream sauce, and a pizza with ham and broccoli. The waiting time for the food was absolutely acceptable and lasted about 20 minutes, the restaurant was full and everyone was busy. The price of a good 75 for 3 adults is also completely acceptable. Finally a little summary: We can unreservedly recommend DA VITO. To be on the safe side, always book a table in advance so that you can safely pamper your taste buds here. We will be happy to come back here. We would like to say thank you very much for the wonderful evening with you, a big thank you to the nice staff and a big thank you to the kitchen.

I recently had dinner there with the whole family and it was fantastic! The people were very friendly, the food was fantastic and I also liked the atmosphere. In my opinion, my meat needed a little more, but I was still able to enjoy it to the fullest. I particularly liked the starter “pizza rolls”, especially because of the sauce or dip that comes with it. So I can wholeheartedly recommend you all to go there if you happen to be nearby.👍

My wife and I stayed in Meppen for two weeks in September 2024 and at Da Vito several times. The dishes have their own accent and the chef absolutely knows his craft. The staff was extremely friendly, after a few days we were greeted like long-time regular guests. Whenever we are in Meppen again, this is the first address for a culinary evening!

Food was good in itself, except that the potato sticks were cold and we had to wait 1 1/2 hours to eat. The problem with the sticks was solved after about a quarter of an hour, they brought us new potato sticks and they were hot. The big hit was actually the bill, there were 10 of us there, the restaurant was full but they put the bill (receipt) on the table and told us that we should each calculate our own things... Huh? .. All clear… whether I or we will go there again… I don’t think so. Maybe you should accept fewer reservations and not fill the table twice, sometimes less is more...

The steak with pepper sauce tastes very artificial...not like meat...a third raw...bloody.... Portions very overpriced...large plates, little content...we were there several times to try something different Trying out the menu... spaghetti, prawns, pizza... (pizza seems to be a finished product)...unfortunately unsatisfied with all the food... we even left half of it behind and didn't eat it... You have to go to the toilet Go up the stairs behind the house...no paper in the toilet...we personally can't go to the restaurant recommend

Was here again after 3 years, prices like back then (rare and very positive) portions of fish and meat unfortunately no longer, felt like half. When it came to drinks, large ones were automatically served. The brown spots could be missing from the salad. Overall ok and tasty, price/performance can now be improved again.

An absolute highlight! The restaurant offers a fantastic selection of Italian dishes - everything from pizza to pasta to delicious meat dishes. The menu is varied and always has surprises in store. Of particular note are the gluten-free options for pasta and pizza, which are absolutely delicious and taste really great! The changing specialties and seasonal offers always ensure new taste experiences. The atmosphere is wonderfully cozy and the staff are always friendly and attentive. I always enjoy coming here and have never been disappointed. Totally recommended for anyone who appreciates good Italian food!

Ordered pizza arugula for €15.90 and an extra side of Parma ham for €2. The pizza was carelessly covered with an estimated 200g of Parma ham in the style of a tiler. It was lukewarm at best, and the tomato pieces inside were still at refrigerator temperature. After my complaint we were given 2 half Marsalas on the house... very disappointing!

I always enjoy being here. It's almost a bit like coming home.

There is still room for improvement when it comes to service. Cucumber slices were pre-cut in the morning... I wonder why? Then they wanted to sell them to us as - without shells. But it was a shame. Instead of removing them ourselves, we were given this task. Otherwise the food tasted good.

Back in Meppen for work and tried out a new restaurant today. Da Vito in Meppen. And what can I say… a great restaurant! The atmosphere is cozy and the service is REALLY great!!! From the service staff to the boss... EVERYONE really cares about you!!! 👍 Great Chardonnay and delicious starter salad with, I hope 😅, delicious little homemade rolls… But now the main course... three small pieces of meat with fresh mushrooms, delicious pasta and a delicious sauce!!! INSANELY DELICIOUS‼️‼️ Now I'm enjoying another Chardonnay and one or two Sambuca... 🙈 Thank you to the da Vito team for the lovely evening 🙏 Addendum: 7 months have passed since the first visit and let's see how things are at da Vito today... In short, it's just as awesome 😎 as the first time!!! Food, drink, service and authenticity are still awesome!!! Thank you for such continuity. Unfortunately it's no longer a given... 👍🥰

The order is not recorded correctly several times. There is no very long waiting time for individual orders, even though the restaurant is not fully occupied. All the dishes look very good.

Pizza way too dark. The edges were stone hard. Some portions are too small for the price. Service 1a. Unfortunately, it's a bit annoying when people constantly ask you whether everything is good while you're eating. Salad prices are more than overpriced.

Unfortunately I have to make a negative comment now. We have ordered take away several times and unfortunately when you get home you often find out that something is wrong with your order. Today for example I ordered a salad with sheep's cheese and then realized when I got home that there was no sheep's cheese at all. Instead, egg (which normally doesn't belong on this salad). This is really extremely annoying, especially since I specifically ordered the salad because of the sheep's cheese, because that's exactly what I was craving today. And a complaint won't do you any good if you're already at home...

Wij hadden een driegangen menu *gereserveerd door hotel Via plaza, die hebben op zondagavond vrij* wij krijgen kip met 3 aardappelen dat vind ik geen Italiaanse maaltijd,heb het ook niet opgegeten en omgeruild voor pasta met kaassaus *geen salade oid erbij* was best wel een teleurstelling, hebben dit ook aan het hotel doorgegeven helaas werd daar lauw op gereageerd....

Italienisches Restaurant mit umfangreicher Speisekarte zu annehmbaren Preisen

Die Bedienung war zwar freundlich, aber als ich nach einer Kinder Portion oder kleine Portion gebeten habe weil ich gesundheitlich nicht viel essen kann, meinte der Chef: Das geht nicht, dann bekomme ich Ärger. Frage mich nur mit wem? Das ist mir bisher noch in keinem Restaurant so ergangen. Schade das man hier so unflexibel ist. Meine Nudeln mit Lachs und Sahnesoße waren so lala. Kaum gewürzt und die Soße einfach nur warme Sahne. Die Pizza von meiner Frau war laut ihrer Meinung gut.

Wie immer überragend gut! Top Bedienung, Qualität der Speisen sehr gut! Freue mich sehr auf den nächsten Besuch!

Ruim vriendelijke bediening zowel Nederlands als Duits heerlijk eten

Das Lokal ist nicht gerade klein, aber war dennoch heute für einen Montagabend sehr gut besucht. Das sagt eigentlich schon alles über ein Restaurant aus. Das Ambiente wirkt sehr einladend, die Servicekräfte sind sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend, aber nicht aufdringlich und vermitteln einem das Gefühl, kein zahlender Kunde, sondern ein gern gesehener Gast zu sein. Die Pizza war geschmacklich top, hätte aber durchaus etwas größer sein dürfen. Das war zwar heute mein erster, aber mit Sicherheit nicht mein letzter Besuch. Hierher komme ich sehr gerne wieder.

Hier geht leider Flair und gutes Essen den Bach runter unter der nächsten Generationen. Vor einigen Jahren hätte es als Kinder Schnitzel kein Form Fleisch gegeben. Traurig.

Sehr nettes Personal, Extrawünsche sind kein Problem, gute Speisekarte, normale Preise und schöner Aussenbereich.

Das Essen war super !!! Reichlich richtig lecker und frisch. Die Portionen reichen definitiv. Warum ich dann NUR *** gebe ?? Wie waren zu siebt und leider waren die Getränke unter dem Eichstrich !! Jammern auf hohem Niveau ? Vielleicht. Aber nicht wenn es nach ansprechen WEITERE 3 Runden passiert und das bei jeweils 5-6 Personen!! Sorry das geht nicht !

Man kann wirklich schön draußen sitzen. Leider hat uns das Personal mehrfach frech ignoriert oder schlicht vergessen. Es gab keine Rechnung zum Abgleich der Summen. Der Kellner hat alles auf einem Block zusammenaddiert. Mein Salat war mit 17.50 Euro vergleichsweise teuer und schmeckte bestenfalls nach nichts. Kaum bis gar kein Essig/Öl/Dressing. Mozzarella und Salatblätter schmecken alt und sahen auch alt aus. Einzig das Hähnchen und das Ei waren lecker. Insgesamt war das Essen ziemlich teuer und der Service verbesserungswürdig... Schade.

Das Essen war in Ordnung.Das war es aber auch. Mit einer Gästegruppe von 12 Personen war die Gastätte überfordert. Gutscheine über 10 % konnten bei der Rechnung nicht berücksichtigt werden. Servieren nicht bestellter Essen und deutliche Abrechnungsfehler zu Lasten der Gäste rundeten den negativen Eindruck ab. Wir werden das Lokal nicht wieder aufsuchen.

Vor Jahren sehr gut, heute nur noch mittelmäßiger Service, stark nachgelassen

Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker! Service war schnell und freundlich, essen war nach 15 Minuten da. Die Außenplätze könnten noch etwas Charme vertragen, im Gegensatz zum Ambiente im Innenbereich. Die Zweierplätze waren Date unfreundlich.

Super Laden, bin seit Jahren hier und noch nie Enttäuscht gewesen

Der Seniorchef und das Personal sind wirklich sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Insbesondere mittags ist es schön ruhig und gemütlich, abends kann es aufgrund der Auslastung des Restaurants natürlich etwas lauter werden (was aber ja natürlich ist bei sehr vielen Leuten). Essen ist drinnen, draußen oder im Wintergarten möglich. Wir sind seid Jahren Stammkunden und sind allesamt immer wieder sowohl geschmacklich als auch optisch sehr zufrieden mit dem bestellten Essen und es wird auch Rücksicht auf Sonderwünsche genommen.

Top Restaurant, bin mit meiner Familie seit Jahren bei Vito & sind jedes Mal begeistert. Nur weiterzuempfehlen :)!

Super freundlicher Service netter Platz im Außen Bereich bekommen einziger Kritikpunkt. Die Lasagne war zu klein, wurde vom Service aber sofort aufgenommen und erledigt deswegen fünf Sterne. Leider war der Chef etwas uneinsichtig. Trotz alledem fünf Sterne. Fazit wenn etwas nicht stimmt, melden und Bescheid geben.
