Ich bin unendlich glücklich, dass ich mit Zöliakie hier glutenfreie Pizza bekomme. Alles TOP und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder 👍😍

Super in jeder Hinsicht. Authentische italienische Küche, gemütliche Atmosphäre, sehr freundliche Bedienung, jede Menge Platz auch im überdachten Außenbereich, moderate Preise, gute Lage am Rand der Fußgängerzone.

Man kann schön draußen sitzen, Preis und Leistung stimmen hier noch.

Außerordentlich gutes Essen. Für die Qualität war der Preis gerechtfertigt. Freundliche Bedienung

Hier kann zu fairen Preisen sehr lecker gegessen werden. Die Portionen sind groß und schmackhaft. Besonders zu empfehlen Nr. 45.

Der Salat kam leider erst auf Nachfrage und als ich mein Hauptgericht so gut wie aufhatte. Zudem wurde weder ich noch meine Begleitung trotz normalem Hauptgericht satt. Das Essen an sich schmeckte. Am Fleisch wurde jedoch gespart.

Klasse Service, käsiger Pizzarand. Ansonsten sind unsere Pizzen leider in Käse und Öl ertrunken, schade.

Der Service war schnell, zuvorkommend und freundlich, auch Nachfragen wurden direkt beantwortet. Wir mussten mit/trotz 11 Personen weder lange auf die Getränke, noch auf das Essen warten. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war vollkommen in Ordnung. Alle waren sehr zufrieden mit ihrem Essen und es hat wirklich sehr gut geschmeckt. 👍

Die Ruhrpottler sind mal wieder da, heute zur Aufstiegsfeier. Natürlich waren wir bei da Vito. Riesengarnelen mit Spagetti, Grosser Salat und Pizza mit Spargel und Parmaschinken. Ein Genuss hoch drei, beste Pizza for ever, Mega Garnelen. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne. 😘

Beste Pizzeria da stimmt einfach alles.

Ein sehr entspanntes und italienisch-passendes Ambiente. Die Speisekarte vereint sowohl traditionelle italienische Küche, als auch die Moderne. Eine zusätzliche Karte mit Speisen der Saison rundet das Angebot ab. Sehr wichtiger und zusätzlicher Pluspunkt: sämtliche Pasta- und Pizzagerichte kann man mit kleinem Aufpreis auch glutenfrei erhalten, die genauso phantastisch gut schmecken wie die "normale" Variante. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und arbeitet schnell, ohne dabei hektisch oder unentspannt zu wirken. Fazit: ein Ort für leckere, entspannte, italienische Gaumenfreuden und ein Geheimtipp für Gäste mit Glutenunverträglichkeit.

Ich kann das Restaurant Da Vito wärmstens empfehlen. Der Service ist durchweg freundlich, effizient und schnell, und man wird stets gerne beraten. Auch das Essen ist absolut hervorragend. Es ist wirklich sehr gut und lecker. Ich kann es nur empfehlen und komme auf jeden Fall wieder.

Top Restaurant. Und die Preise sind voll okay.

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 12 Personen bei da Vito am Abend des 2. Weihnachtsfeiertages. Wir waren alle rundum sehr zufrieden, obwohl erkennbar sehr viel Betrieb war, fühlten wir uns sehr gut betreut und das Essen war Klasse! Wer in Meppen ein schönes Restaurant sucht, ob im Sommer oder Winter und gutes Essen erwartet, ist bei da Vito sehr gut aufgehoben. Doris und Werner

Waren gestern zum ersten Mal dort. Nach ca. einer Minute warten an der Theke wurde uns sofort einen freien Platz begleitet. Kaum hatten wir die Jacken an die Garderobe gehängt, war auch schon die Speisekarte am Tisch. Haben uns die Pizza Pasquale bestellt und das Zickel-Bier. Unser Fazit: Beste Pizza seit Jahren 😋 Der Boden ist etwas dicker als in Italien, aber wir sind ja schließlich ein paar Kilometer von Neapel entfernt 🤣, super lecker und am Rand schön knusprig. Gut belegt, auch mit original dunklen Oliven ( nicht die billigen eingefärbten). Wir sind als Monteure viel unterwegs und müssen zugeben, dass es keine vergleichbare bis in unserem Heimatort Kitzbühel, und auch nicht da gibt. Gehen morgen wieder hin.

Reservations required...very busy on a Monday Large but cozy atmosphere

We had several delicious meals here during our vacation! The pasta was excellent, and the steak was also delicious. The meat was very tender and perfectly cooked (as a steak should be). Our nine-month-old son was with us, and the staff was very friendly to him. The second night we dined there, they remembered I have a cow's milk allergy, so they immediately adapted my salad.

Friendly staff, food was very good. The gluten-free pizza we ordered was also very good, and we didn't experience any problems, such as stomach aches, etc.

The food was delicious and prepared super quickly. All in all, a great visit, but I lost one star 🌟 because my little daughter only wanted spaghetti with ketchup, and charging the full price for spaghetti Bolognese (I think €14.90) is unfair in my opinion. Perhaps they could have adjusted the price a bit. My pizza and my wife's pasta were delicious.

The three of us were there yesterday and sat down at one of the empty, yet-cleared tables. The owner came over and said they'd already found a seat on their own and he didn't have time to serve us. If we wanted to stay, it would take a long time. We then got up and headed for the exit. He called after us, saying he didn't care to see us again. I've never encountered such a badly behaved rascal. We'll be giving this place a wide berth in the future.

Super friendly and delicious pizza in a nice ambience

Great! We're not familiar with the area and were looking for a place to have lunch in Meppen. We were warmly welcomed at the restaurant even shortly before the lunch hour ended. The lunch menu offers a variety of dishes at unbeatable prices, truly delicious, absolutely fantastic! Our meals each consisted of a side salad, a medium pizza, and a drink. If we're back in Meppen, we'll definitely stop here again. Highly recommended!

We showed up on Father's Day without an appointment, with eight people. Although it was quite busy, we were immediately offered a table. The drinks and food were very good, and the service was excellent. We'd love to come back.

Wieder eine Woche in Meppen gewesen und natürlich im „Da Vito“ zum Abendessen. Es ist, als würden wir nach Hause kommen: freundlicher Empfang, super Essen, faire Preise und mega Service. Es ist immer wieder schön, hier zu sein. Absolute Empfehlung!

By god wallah one of the worst Italian restaurants I've ever been to. Pizza was completely black on the bottom and way too hard. The waiter was completely annoyed and overwhelmed with the orders. I'll never come here again. The children were also disappointed.

Somewhat atmosphereless pizzeria. Both the starter and the main course were quite tasteless. Toast of starter was burnt and the main course spaghetti with beef strips was very greasy and tasteless.

I can only say 5/5☆ We went here spontaneously and wanted to have dinner. We were greeted very politely and despite no table reservation, the boss assigned us a table. All the employees are very polite, friendly and you get the feeling that they live their job. The food was great, we had tagliatelle with chicken in a cheese cream sauce, and a pizza with ham and broccoli. The waiting time for the food was absolutely acceptable and lasted about 20 minutes, the restaurant was full and everyone was busy. The price of a good 75 for 3 adults is also completely acceptable. Finally a little summary: We can unreservedly recommend DA VITO. To be on the safe side, always book a table in advance so that you can safely pamper your taste buds here. We will be happy to come back here. We would like to say thank you very much for the wonderful evening with you, a big thank you to the nice staff and a big thank you to the kitchen.

I recently had dinner there with the whole family and it was fantastic! The people were very friendly, the food was fantastic and I also liked the atmosphere. In my opinion, my meat needed a little more, but I was still able to enjoy it to the fullest. I particularly liked the starter “pizza rolls”, especially because of the sauce or dip that comes with it. So I can wholeheartedly recommend you all to go there if you happen to be nearby.👍

My wife and I stayed in Meppen for two weeks in September 2024 and at Da Vito several times. The dishes have their own accent and the chef absolutely knows his craft. The staff was extremely friendly, after a few days we were greeted like long-time regular guests. Whenever we are in Meppen again, this is the first address for a culinary evening!

Food was good in itself, except that the potato sticks were cold and we had to wait 1 1/2 hours to eat. The problem with the sticks was solved after about a quarter of an hour, they brought us new potato sticks and they were hot. The big hit was actually the bill, there were 10 of us there, the restaurant was full but they put the bill (receipt) on the table and told us that we should each calculate our own things... Huh? .. All clear… whether I or we will go there again… I don’t think so. Maybe you should accept fewer reservations and not fill the table twice, sometimes less is more...

The steak with pepper sauce tastes very artificial...not like meat...a third raw...bloody.... Portions very overpriced...large plates, little content...we were there several times to try something different Trying out the menu... spaghetti, prawns, pizza... (pizza seems to be a finished product)...unfortunately unsatisfied with all the food... we even left half of it behind and didn't eat it... You have to go to the toilet Go up the stairs behind the house...no paper in the toilet...we personally can't go to the restaurant recommend

Was here again after 3 years, prices like back then (rare and very positive) portions of fish and meat unfortunately no longer, felt like half. When it came to drinks, large ones were automatically served. The brown spots could be missing from the salad. Overall ok and tasty, price/performance can now be improved again.

An absolute highlight! The restaurant offers a fantastic selection of Italian dishes - everything from pizza to pasta to delicious meat dishes. The menu is varied and always has surprises in store. Of particular note are the gluten-free options for pasta and pizza, which are absolutely delicious and taste really great! The changing specialties and seasonal offers always ensure new taste experiences. The atmosphere is wonderfully cozy and the staff are always friendly and attentive. I always enjoy coming here and have never been disappointed. Totally recommended for anyone who appreciates good Italian food!

Ordered pizza arugula for €15.90 and an extra side of Parma ham for €2. The pizza was carelessly covered with an estimated 200g of Parma ham in the style of a tiler. It was lukewarm at best, and the tomato pieces inside were still at refrigerator temperature. After my complaint we were given 2 half Marsalas on the house... very disappointing!

I always enjoy being here. It's almost a bit like coming home.

There is still room for improvement when it comes to service. Cucumber slices were pre-cut in the morning... I wonder why? Then they wanted to sell them to us as - without shells. But it was a shame. Instead of removing them ourselves, we were given this task. Otherwise the food tasted good.

Back in Meppen for work and tried out a new restaurant today. Da Vito in Meppen. And what can I say… a great restaurant! The atmosphere is cozy and the service is REALLY great!!! From the service staff to the boss... EVERYONE really cares about you!!! 👍 Great Chardonnay and delicious starter salad with, I hope 😅, delicious little homemade rolls… But now the main course... three small pieces of meat with fresh mushrooms, delicious pasta and a delicious sauce!!! INSANELY DELICIOUS‼️‼️ Now I'm enjoying another Chardonnay and one or two Sambuca... 🙈 Thank you to the da Vito team for the lovely evening 🙏 Addendum: 7 months have passed since the first visit and let's see how things are at da Vito today... Wir sind in jedem Jahr in Meppen und immer im Da Vito zum Essen. Tolle Auswahl, immer reichlich und lecker - Vito führt das Restaurant als echter Römer mit Leib und Seele. Absolute Empfehlung.

Pizza way too dark. The edges were stone hard. Some portions are too small for the price. Service 1a. Unfortunately, it's a bit annoying when people constantly ask you whether everything is good while you're eating. Salad prices are more than overpriced.

Unfortunately I have to make a negative comment now. We have ordered take away several times and unfortunately when you get home you often find out that something is wrong with your order. Today for example I ordered a salad with sheep's cheese and then realized when I got home that there was no sheep's cheese at all. Instead, egg (which normally doesn't belong on this salad). This is really extremely annoying, especially since I specifically ordered the salad because of the sheep's cheese, because that's exactly what I was craving today. And a complaint won't do you any good if you're already at home...
