Dodge City Saloon in Lübben (Spreewald)

We were there for the first time today, booked a table in advance and the reservation was quickly confirmed by email. Very friendly, relaxed and personal welcome. Great ambience and fast service with recommendations for choosing the dishes. Large portions for the money, which is barely manageable. The only drawback for drivers was that unfortunately there were no non-alcoholic long drinks. But the explanation for this was plausible. Keep it up!!!

Five stars for the sheriff and his deputy. We were there as a group with a small dog and asked for a table in a corner. That worked fine. The service was courteous, attentive and therefore also sales-oriented. The ambience matches the name and was chosen with attention to detail. 🤠

It was a great experience. The saloon is great. Went there for lunch on a motorcycle tour. Everything was fine.

There was a train that literally ran along the ceiling! And generally the ambience looked like something out of a western (or a Spencer/Hill movie or a Karl May movie or something similar) 😍 I mean, what more could you want?! 🤗

We went to the Dodge City Saloon because of the good reviews. We booked the table at 7:15 p.m. However, we were already there at 7 p.m. The waiter came for the first time at 7:15 p.m. and took the order. At 8:20 p.m. we asked for the first time when the food would come, we were told in 7 minutes and what kind of preparation we were doing here! The waiters were tense and people were constantly being called unpleasantly. When we still had no food at 8:30 p.m., we wanted to pay for the drinks and leave. We were then put in our way, we continued to be called “on a first-name basis” but how. We refused to pay for the food we hadn't yet had. The overwhelmed waiters suddenly needed the food, packed it up and we paid and left. Disaster!!! The male staff doesn't work at all. The menu said a 1 hour wait. That was exceeded. This is disproportionate to the price of the house. I had the grill plate for just under 25 euros. My pork and beef steak were in the pan too long. The beef was way too tough. I wasn't asked how I would like the beef either. The fries were normal, but you can't really go wrong with them. I am really disappointed and would never recommend the restaurant and the staff working there. The only positive was the ambience.

Visited there again today and went home bitterly disappointed! The waiter was unbeatable in terms of arrogance and arrogance. (I found out afterwards that it was the boss's son) Orders were taken unfriendly and the waiter lifted the glasses for drinks to see if there was anything left in them. If you said you still had something in your glass you would laugh maliciously and leave! That doesn't work at all! That was our last visit to this restaurant! We all go to work and have a bad day sometimes! But nobody has to accept something like that!

Definitely recommended! The ambience is country style, the food is good and plentiful, the staff is friendly and quick. But the best thing is the model railway inside!

There were three of us eating, unfortunately the meat (turkey breast, beef and cordon bleu) was very dry. Cooked beyond the point or cooked to death. An animal had to die for it and then not prepared correctly. (We are restaurateurs ourselves) In addition, the side dish “corn” was misunderstood and not delivered at all. After criticizing the waiter, he was pissed off and no longer as friendly as at the beginning. Conclusion: don't come anymore. Tip for the cook: reduce or omit the sugar in the salads/salad dressings. It was just too much. And treat and process the meat from the killed animal accordingly.

It was a wonderful evening with the most charming, funniest waiter ever... delicious food.. great service.. at a late hour as the only guests I didn't feel "turned out", on the contrary. I have to take a closer look at the map... a lot of things are unusual at first. Definitely go there 👍

We went there on a recommendation. Unfortunately we cannot share the enthusiasm. The ambience indoors is great, there is a lot for children to look at, outdoors it is a normal beer garden. Unfortunately, the service was only “fake” friendly. Eyes were rolled behind the guest's back and unfortunately private relationship matters were discussed loudly in front of the guests. Unfortunately, the food was also disappointing, we had kangaroo and beef steaks, they didn't ask about the cooking level. Two small, dry steaks were put on the plate for €25 each. For us it was an experience that we will not repeat.

A nice restaurant in Lübben. The food tasted good. The furnishings are designed very appropriately. The service was very friendly. The only negative thing we noticed was the cash payment, which was not pointed out beforehand.

Great ambience, super friendly team, good food and atmosphere like among friends. The wait for the food was a bit long and when it came it ended up with other people 😁 it was quickly resolved and everyone laughed about it.

We love this place! The dishes are rich and delicious. The service was friendly and on point. A great experience restaurant where you can't stop looking so quickly. The children are excited to see the moving train. We come at least once every year.

Price performance absolutely correct. Small point deduction at the end, no card payment possible, only cash payment but if you know that in advance it's not a problem and you can enjoy it. 😉 Gladly again 🥰

Celebrated her birthday with my darling here today. Great food which was really delicious. The waitresses are all super friendly and have a great atmosphere. All of them are simply great and you have to go there.

The restaurant is wonderful, lovingly decorated, the interior has a lot of charm and a cool atmosphere. Of course, if you're not expecting authentic American Southern food, you'll be served quite well. However, it's still a bit expensive, and the food isn't 100% where it should be, technically. Baked potato not cooked all the way through, steak was on the grill for far too long. So it tastes good, but for the price you would expect everything to be a little better prepared.

Unfortunately, the waitress was overwhelmed with our group. Were there with 18 people but friendliness looks different.

Because of the good reviews, we went to the Dodge City Saloon. The waiter was very nice and the atmosphere was appealing. I had the grill plate. My pork and beef steak were overcooked. I wasn't asked how I would like the beef either. Beef and turkey were too salty. Some of the crazy fries were in the deep fryer for too long. I'm really disappointed.

The waiter “Bill,” his self-chosen nickname, was on the borderline between not possible and beyond. Even if the group was larger, that doesn't mean you have to ask for a soda order three times. When it comes to the kitchen, you should let the chef try his dishes, my ribs were "well" to say the least, in Salzburg they would be sent back to the kitchen without comment. And when it came to paying, 3 out of 5 calculations were wrong!!! We will definitely go to the Spreewald/Lübben again but certainly not to the “Dodge City”.

(but maybe that was just a misunderstanding or oversight ---> definitely!) PS: You still have to get used to the prices! THANK YOU anyway for the good hospitality.👍🙂💪

Unique restaurant with incredibly friendly service! The food was incredibly delicious! Whether burgers, schnitzels or grill plates. The meat was cooked to perfection and presented very nicely. There is a large area outside for the children to play. It's a shame that there isn't a place like this in Hesse. We will definitely stop by you again on our next vacation! An absolute recommendation!

Very appealing plate language, Tasty and juicy fried meat and the mushrooms also have a light crunchy bite and everything is beautifully presented. The service was always very attentive and polite. The only tiny point of criticism from my point of view was that the sour cream was unfortunately not served in a separate container and that it was on the potato wedges, which unfortunately made them slightly soggy.

The food and service is, as always, very good and tasty. However, the prices and portions are no longer acceptable. 2 people each a burger and 5 drinks / bill 120 euros. Not portable

Were there again after years. Were a little disappointed. The order was taken quickly but then we waited an hour for the food. The table next door who ordered after us got it earlier. And then a meal was wrong, a side dish we ordered only came when we asked and when we were almost finished. The taste was good.

We came to this restaurant on a recommendation. We also made a lot of promises based on the Google reviews. Unfortunately we were disappointed by the food and the steep prices. The ambience was great! The guest room is really impressive. There is a lot to admire. We were greeted warmly, even though we hadn't made a reservation and it was full. The children at the next table got something to color in, our children didn't... Most of the food was just cheap frozen food. We find it very unreasonable to ask for so much money for this. The burger buns were too toasty and carelessly topped. The potato wedges could have been prepared fresh. There's nothing there. You don't have to make fries fresh, but decent steakhouse fries instead of cheap, thin oven fries would be better suited to a saloon. Contrary to the greeting, the farewell was a bit cold. You can eat there. It's something different. But it's not worth it.

Rustic saloon, suitable ambience, horses in front of the saloon, train running under the ceiling, food is plentiful and delicious. It's better to book a table in advance. We are repeat offenders.

We ate there for the first time yesterday. Good price-performance ratio. Good portions for the price. The burger was super tasty and the meat was on point. Super performance. The prices have also risen because of the increase in VAT on the restaurant bill. The service was super friendly and quick, not intrusive. Okay, yesterday wasn't overly crowded either. My girlfriend and I will be back.

No idea where this review comes from. But my experience was completely different. I was brought another meal as ordered, which was supposed to cost €42. It now costs 65. Okay, now it was there so I took it too. I think I can expect that if I pay €65 for a steak that the chef will grill it professionally. My steak was just dead, grilled and not seasoned a bit. There were bacon beans on the bill, which according to the menu were supposed to be there but didn't appear on my plate. When I asked the waitress about it, she reacted very uncertainly and said that it was now a complete price and that we couldn't count down the missing side dish. There is in the Spreewald. Really better restaurants to visit. And the atmosphere is still nineties. It's a shame, actually, because this restaurant has a lot of potential.

Great food, great service that also has its price, but I think that's completely okay. Small drawback: the flags on the ceiling are very dusty, but this is now reinforcement at a high level. Overall verdict, great concept, great food and very nice service, I'll be happy to come back.

Sehr schönes Ambiente mit Liebe zum Detail. Sauber, ordentlich und doch absolut uriger, völlig unerwarteter, Westernstyle. Sehr freundlicher und beratungskompetenter Service. Schöner Gartenbereich für jung und alt. Tolle Biere vom Fass. Ich hatte das Weihenstephaner Weißbier. Zum Essen den Grillteller. Sehr schmackhaft. Steak Medium auf den Punkt. Empfehlenswert! Ich komme wieder. PS: durch die Raumaufteilung wird der Schall gut aufgenommen und Unterhaltungen sind trotz Auslastung möglich. Topp

This restaurant is something different! Highly recommended for families. There is a nice little playground in front of the door, and there is a train on the ceiling in the restaurant.

Great shop with exceptional food in a unique atmosphere. A little out of the way but definitely worth a visit. However, the one star less is for the fact that there will still be no card payments in 2024. At prices of 20-30 euros per main course, that's almost a disgrace... (especially when the orders are taken in a very modern and digital way).

The atmosphere was very authentic and the service from the staff was excellent. The food was fresh and tasty, the portions were generous. The burgers were of a very high standard, but you can find better ones elsewhere. Unfortunately you can't pay by card and that in the 21st century... The toilets were very clean and had a strong smell (cleaning products). Overall, highly recommended

We were there for dinner on Saturday evening. The service, the food and the ambience were simply great. Of course you have to wait a little longer for the food on such an evening, but it was freshly prepared and extremely tasty. There was also live music from a great band. A very nice evening.

Die Inhaberin /Service unterstützte mich bei meiner Überraschung und war sehr aufmerksam für all unsere Wünsche. Die Wartezeit und die Arbeit der Köche war auch klasse. Lange nicht mehr so lecker gegessen. Und das Ambiente einfach genial, liebevoll und urig gestaltet. Das war zwar mein erstes Mal das ich da war. Trotzdem ich als Lübbener - Urgestein schon oft daran vorbeifuhr.... Aber es war auf jeden Fall nicht mein letzter Besuch. Lieben Dank an das ganze Team. 💕

Sehr schöne Gaststätte mit vielen Köstlichkeiten. Essen frisch und lecker, Service und Bedienung top. Selbst wenn man spontan hin möchte wird alles in Bewegung gesetzt damit man einen Tisch bekommt. Es lohnt sich und ist das beste in unserer Umgebung.

Wir hatten Glück einen Tisch bekommen zu haben. Am besten vorher reservieren! Essen war sehr gut und auch der Preis war angemessen. Der Service war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Kommen gern wieder!

Lange gewartet bis die Karten an den Tisch kamen und ehe man die Bestellung aufgeben konnte. Teilweise wurden bestellte Getränke nicht geliefert. Leere Gläser wurden ignoriert, Getränkenachbestellung war recht schwer. Der Kellner war dennoch recht überzeugt von sich. Na ja, für den Service kann ich keine Punkte geben, den Service gab es in diesen Lokal prinzipiell nicht. Das Essen war mittelmäßig und dafür dann recht teuer. Mein Steak war kalt, tot gebraten und trocken. Zu den gelieferten Chicken Wings (4Stück für 5.30€) gabs noch nicht einmal einen Dip. Die mitgelieferten Komponenten waren okay, halt Fastfood. Aber für das Geld? Sorry da kann man in der Umgebung viel besser für sein Geld essen. Zum Schluss gabs die Rechnung ohne Beleg aber nur in Barzahlung! Mhhh schon eigenartig. Also mich hat’s in kleinster Weise überzeugt und ich werde das Restaurant nicht mehr besuchen und nicht empfehlen. Preis/ Leistung passt hier nicht.

Wir waren bereits mehrfach dort essen, es geht jedoch nichts ohne Vorbestellung!!!! Die Servicemitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und spaßen sehr gern. Es ist eine wirklich schöne Atmosphäre. Wenn es voll ist, ist der Geräuschpegel wirklich extrem hoch, deswegen einen Stern Abzug beim Ambiente. Beim ersten Blick auf die Speisekarte waren wir etwas schockiert, aber das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis ist wirklich angemessen. Die Portionen sind mega ausreichend und das Essen wirklich lecker und frisch. Wir kommen immer wieder...

Leckeres Essen, sehr freundliche und coole Bedienung, coole Aufmachung. Die Erdnussschalen sollen wirklich auf den Boden. Wenn man sich erstmal daran gewöhnt hat macht es auch sogar Spaß.....
