An all-round successful visit to the restaurant. Super friendly service staff, nice ambience, great subtle music in the background. The meat quality e.g. B. Beef fillet, gyros and lamb were excellent. We rate the prices as fair for the quality of the food. We'd love to come back. Absolutely recommended.

The food was good and the quantity was okay. however, it was very loud. What was annoying was the waiter who first forgot about us, then tried twice to urge us to pay in cash. "Nice customers pay in cash." He also became ironic when I criticized my partner's drink that didn't taste good.

Had a lovely evening here. The food was great, well seasoned and the meat was really excellent. The quantity was generous and the price-performance ratio was absolutely fine. The service was very attentive and we didn't have to wait long for drinks or food, despite the fact that we were here on a public holiday and the restaurant was busy. We were here with a voucher from the gourmet block and will definitely come back.

Gyros wasn't crispy, it was fatty! Portions small but prices too high. Ouzo, which goes with Greek.... 5.30 € that doesn't have to be the case! Glasses were always empty for a long time, we were eating with 10 people.

The visit was disappointing. In my opinion, the restaurant does not do justice to a current rating of 4.4 stars. Not good value for money. Not currently recommended. Reason: The starter “sheep's cheese in a dough coating” was good. The gyro was average. An incorrect supplement was brought. The fries were very dry and the rosemary potatoes were lukewarm, stale and slightly mushy. The plates weren't even remotely laid out for the eye (hence no photos). No service staff was available during the meal. When clearing up, however, we asked and responded to our complaints and offered a dessert (on the house, very good) (hence another 3 stars for the service). A PITY

Yesterday we had dinner with 15 people. Great service, very friendly and personable and even though it was relatively busy, drinks and food were served quickly. My lamb was perfectly cooked and very flavorful. Plus fries and salad🤩. Exactly my taste. The portions were decent, I had to struggle to empty my plate 😅. We were all very satisfied and would definitely like to come back 👍.

Unfortunately, my visit to the restaurant was anything but satisfactory. There were continuous arguments between the kitchen staff and the waiters, creating an unpleasant atmosphere. To my horror, I found hair in my food. Additionally, I witnessed french fries being transferred from one plate to another with bare hands, raising serious hygiene concerns. Particularly disappointing was the expensive veal steak, which consisted of around 30% fat and therefore did not justify its price. Overall, this was a very unsatisfactory experience and I hope that management takes the necessary measures to prevent such problems in the future.

Unfortunately not a nice experience. The bread was burnt and therefore inedible. (See photo). The gyros and the tzatziki had hardly any taste. Unfortunately the drinks were totally stale. The fries with the gyros were still okay.

Today the four of us had dinner with a voucher book. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty. We had a reserved table on the terrace and were very happy with the dinner.

We went to a wine tasting with nine people. Aleko gave us very good advice when choosing the wine. Since we are newbies to Greek wines, he suggested a tasting through Greece. He adapted the accompanying menu to the wines and the season. We have complete trust in Aleko and gave him free rein in the planning. Aleko gave us an enjoyable and relaxing evening. His wines were excellent and perfectly matched to the respective course. He was able to give us interesting information about the quality of the wine, the growing region and the winemaker. Aleko didn't skimp on anything and served us plenty of wine and water. We would like to thank Aleko and his team from the bottom of our hearts for the excellent evening and would be happy to come back

The Dionysos in Sankt Augustin has been a top address for us for years when it comes to a nice evening with delicious food in a beautiful ambience with a very nice and courteous host. The service is first class, attentive and very friendly without being intrusive. Here you have the feeling of having stopped in with friends. The recommendations are always on point; There is real know-how, especially when it comes to drinks. The cuisine is well above the well-known standard of Greek restaurants. The monthly menu is more than worth a look, fish and seafood are absolutely recommended. I look forward to our next visit to this wonderful restaurant and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Greek cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere. A real highlight in the restaurant scene!

Really delicious, well-seasoned gyros in a friendly Mediterranean atmosphere with lovely dogs walking the rows and being petted by guests and sweetly whispering Greek music. Warm service successfully completes the overall picture. I've enjoyed coming here for years.

Unfortunately we won't be going there anymore, the food is bad and the price is too high. In my opinion it's a real rip-off. My point about the bad food wasn't addressed at all and the price in the end topped everything🤢 the starter was good, but we had that Didn't order it, it was simply brought and then charged at a pretty high price🙄the main meal was a catastrophe, meat well and the fries as well and the mini salad with dressing from a bucket😛

Enjoying the summer like weather, we sat at a table on this restaurant’s patio - due to this restaurant being located right next to a main street as well as a cross roads, the traffic was rather loud. The patio itself is nicely set up and weather proof. The waiter serving our table was of rather reduced friendliness and seemed to have taken our orders more on the go than really concentrating on it. The food was solidly tasty.

The service depended extremely on the employee. The prices are decent, as is what was put on the plate. The meat in the main course was partly dry or bland, the lamb was good. Tzatziki was missing here and had to be ordered separately, I don't know that. The usual farewell ouzo was also canceled, but there is no deduction for that. All in all, solid food for a solid price.

I have been friends with Aleko for over 30 years and have been a guest there. I eat there regularly and not without reason.

So, now that Google hasn't published the review I wrote for the third time, even though it was completely positive and friendly, I'll keep it short: we went there for dinner to celebrate my birthday. We thought the food was delicious and will definitely come back. The service was attentive, friendly and funny, we felt well looked after. I hope that Google's algorithm has nothing to complain about now...

Here expectations and reality do not match. Meat of poor quality (beef fillet was riddled with tendons and cartilage, crispy fried rosemary potatoes were perfectly normal whole boiled potatoes cut in two) does not go well with the menu, which is designed as if you were dining in a premium restaurant (gyros made in-house Etc.) The gyro meat was cut way too thick. If you want a pub atmosphere, this is the place for you. The service was trying, nothing more. Conclusion: If you want to have a good Greek meal, avoid this restaurant.

Everyone is welcome in the restaurant and all wishes are happy to be fulfilled. It is freshly cooked and the food is very digestible. We recommend.

Delicious gyros, just the right amount. Friendly staff. But there was no ouzo after dinner.

We were invited to dinner at the Dionysos Restaurant on April 20, 2024. I ordered the lamb shoulder with spinach and rosemary potatoes for 20.90 euros. The people present each had one of the gyros dishes, each of which was a sufficient portion. Unfortunately, this was not the case with the lamb shoulder. At best it was 100 grams of meat on the bone, which was served with three forks of spinach and 4 rosemary potato halves. I can't complain about the taste of the food at all, but the amount you get for the price is in no way appropriate. In this respect, you can probably only order one of the gyros dishes mentioned above in this restaurant if you are hungry. Anyway, I went home hungry. Regarding the service, I would like to say that the waitress who showed us to our table, took the orders and served the food was very friendly. However, this was not the case for the employee who then cleared the area. Here, the plates were quickly cleared away one by one after each person was finished, while other people at the table were still eating. This gave the impression that we should please hurry up and eat. Feel free to correct me, but it won't be cleared until everyone is finished. Due to the "hurry" that this gentleman showed, I was unfortunately not able to complain about my food due to the portion size. Unfortunately, I noticed this employee negatively during a previous visit to the Dionysos restaurant. Of course, it may be that my observations represent isolated cases, but in my opinion, regular guests are welcomed here with great fuss ("Honey, how are you?" etc.) and the occasional guest is fobbed off with less than run-of-the-mill. Only the really friendly farewell from the senior partner ironed this out to some extent.

Wir waren heute zum wiederholten Male im Restaurant. Das Essen finden wir echt gut, aber der Service ist unmöglich! Unpassende Bemerkungen, quer über den Tisch servieren und Last, but Not least, mir leicht auf die Hand schlagen, die ich auf der Rückenlehne des Stuhls neben mir liegen hatte. Der Herr macht Service, für den ich bezahle - wir sind nicht befreundet... Und schließlich gibt's nach der Rechnung, die bei drei Speisen pro Person nicht gerade niedrig war, noch nicht einmal einen Ouzo aufs Haus 😢 das wäre Gastfreundschaft - nicht ständiges dazwischen reden... Schade...

We don't need an experience like that again! We had booked a table for four for Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. about 10 days earlier and mentioned, as always, that we would come with a voucher book per couple. Unfortunately, when we arrived there on time, we were ignored for almost 15 minutes while waiting at the counter. According to our knowledge, the restaurant was full to the brim and obviously overbooked, which was also confirmed by another 4 people who were already waiting in front of us. When we asked twice, we were told that there was a lot going on and that they would have a free table for us in a few minutes. After about half an hour we were able to find a table on the covered terrace, but it only had three chairs. We then organized ourselves a place to sit and were able to take a seat. After ordering drinks and having them delivered, we received the menus. We have now been on site for around 50 minutes. We ordered drinks again and 15 minutes later we were allowed to make our menu requests and received an inappropriate criticism for our reference to the voucher books. At the same time, a waiting time was predicted for us. After almost 100 minutes of being there, the starters/main courses were served, with twice the wrong side dishes because the ones requested were "off". The quality of the food was good, hot and attractively portioned. It was difficult to ask the service staff because we were ignored despite clearly wanting to talk. For the two invoices requested, it was stated that, as a matter of tradition, the total sum would be divided by two and a main course amount would be deducted for voucher book guests. Conclusion: Food was good but everything else was off-putting. RBO

The restaurant was full. We have 1 hour 30 minutes. waited for the food. Only when asked, after about an hour, was there information that it was coming soon. The second time I asked, it should come in 5 minutes. I already announced that if my meal didn't arrive in 5 minutes, it would be canceled. That wasn't the case. So I canceled my meal. The sauces (saziki, ketchup) that were ordered were missing from the other two meals. After more than an hour, some bread with olives was served, unfortunately much too late and without any indication of any further delay. The best thing is that a table that was occupied about 30-40 minutes after us had its food about 20 minutes before us. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the Dionysus in any way.

This evening the good reputation of this tried and tested restaurant was once again confirmed. We spent a very pleasant and, above all, delicious evening in a rustic atmosphere with the smell of freshly grilled meat, which also ended up on our plates! The service staff was very friendly and competent, and we were almost impressed by their in-depth knowledge of wines and service in general! We ordered bean soup, gyros with fries and salad and moussaka. The soup was tasty, the gyros dish was good and as expected. The casserole tasted good. Unfortunately it was very carelessly prepared and the price-performance ratio of 16.99 euros was not right at all. Good thing we were there with a voucher booklet. Ambiance: typically Greek furnishings, but super loud.

The food is great. Unfortunately it is very noisy when the restaurant is so full. Service is good, but you should be careful to retain new guests and not just give priority to regular guests.

Horrible service. We (4 people) have been sitting for 1.5 hours and have been waiting for our main course (gyro plate) for over 1:15 minutes. No waiter came and asked for drinks, even though the glasses were empty. Cruel, never again.

The food was delicious and after you finally ordered it. There is a lot going on and a carnival group was there. After over 25 years I am back in Siegburg and really wanted to visit this restaurant again. It was great back then, but today it has really exceeded my expectations! The quality of the food is 1a! Compliments to the kitchen. The service also leaves nothing to be desired. And I was really happy to see Aleko again.

We were a very large company. Approximately 30 people. It went like clockwork. Everything was very tasty, just a little bit.

Ich war heute mit meiner Frau und ihrem Bruder und seiner Freundin dort essen und ich muss sagen: Es gibt viele Griechen aber das hier war das beste was ich hier Umkreis kennen gelernt habe. Wir haben 4 Gang Menü gegessen für 49€ und ich muss sagen das es sich wirklich gelohnt hat. Der Service so wie auch die Küche leisten gute Arbeit. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Essen und sind alle satt geworden. Einfach perfekt. Wir danken euch für den schönen Abend bei euch im Lokal. 🥰

Also ehrlich gesagt war das Essen lecker, dennoch haben wir pro Person ca. 40 Groschen ausgegeben und waren nichtmal gesättigt. Das einzige Dessert welches angeboten wird, ist so groß wie mein Daumen, war in einem Happen in meinem Magen 😠. Also für reiche Rentner ein geeigneter Ort zum futtern.

Leckeres Essen, freundliches Ambiente und einen Ouzo am Ende? Das erwartet man von einem griechischen Restaurant. Aber hier ist es so viel mehr. Das Essen ist ein Hochgenuss, das Ambiente ist wie in einer großen griechischen Familie. Und am Ende? Am Ende kommt der Inhaber und setzt sich zu dir am Tisch zu einem kleinen Plausch. Hier passt haargenau der Spruch: " Du kommst als Gast und gehst als Freund". Insider-Tipp: probiert die Tagesgerichte, die werden so wie in Griechenland zubereitet, keine "eingedeutschten' Gerichte. Und probiert bitte die Weine. Auch hier gibt es nicht nur die typischen griechischen, teilweise extra süßen, Weißweine. Es gibt für alle Gaumen genau den richtigen Tropfen. Lasst euch da ruhig von Aleko beraten, ihr seid in den besten Händen.

Super leckere Speisen und Getränke. Hier gibt es auch griechische Spezialitäten die es nicht überall gibt. Bis hin zu einer grossen Auswahl an Ouzo und das Personal ist auch super nett und authentisch 😉

Endlich mal wieder ein griechisches Restaurant, in dem man sich ein wenig wie in Griechenland fühlt: lebendig-laut, herzlicher Service, unkompliziert von authentischen Menschen geführt. Wir waren das erste Mal hier seit unserem Umzug nach Hangelar. Freitagabend war das Restaurant rappelvoll und wir ohne Reservierung - aufgenommen wurden wir trotzdem herzlich und einen Tisch gab's auch irgendwie schnell. Es schienen viele Stammgäste hier zu sein - das spricht für sich. Das Essen kam trotz vollem Haus (mit einigen großen Tischen) recht zügig und alles war super lecker. Preis-Leistung stimmte für uns auch. Wir kommen sehr gerne und ganz sicher wieder und freuen uns auch schon drauf.

Wir hatten eine kleine Vorstandsfajr und es hat richtig Spaß gemacht, hier das griechische Essen zu genießen. Meine Kollegin braucht den Wein nur zu beschreiben, und der Chef wusste sofort, um welchen es sich handelt.

Einer der besten Lokale die wir kennen, es schmeckt alles super und der service ist außergewöhnlich gut.
