Tasty, but not exceptional dishes that make you say "wow, that's something new". Nice service.

We had a successful evening and we were all fed up. The food was delicious and the ambience was very nice.

I always like coming here when I'm in Bonn on business. But also as a stopover while traveling with the family, like this time. Friendly and timely service. On weekdays it is usually advisable to make a reservation because groups from the surrounding authorities and companies also like to come here.

Great location, food, drinks and service were praiseworthy, so absolutely recommended.

Friendly welcome in a nice shop. Was quite busy at the time but understood my partner well. The drinks were good value for money. The mac and cheese was very tasty and also good value for money. I personally wouldn't have the steak again as 1/4 of the steak itself was fatty. The side dishes do deserve points. That's a 4

The restaurant different is an absolute highlight and really impressed us! The burgers were a real feast: nice and big, juicy and with an excellent patty that impressed with its intense grilled flavor and excellent meat quality. Simply perfect! The pizza was also a taste experience in itself - with high-quality ingredients and a unique combination that you won't quickly forget. The steak was also a dream: tender, fried to perfection, seasoned with coarse salt and pepper and wonderfully complemented by a lovely salad garnish. The prawns and bruschetta are also highly recommended - each dish demonstrates the highest quality and attention to detail. The store is immaculately clean and the ambience couldn't be better - stylish, inviting and with a feel-good atmosphere. We would particularly like to highlight the dedicated boss, who works together and does everything in his power to make the guests happy. Conclusion: A real gem! We will definitely be back and can highly recommend different. Thank you for this culinary experience!

My visit to the Different Bonn restaurant was an all-round successful experience that I would like to recommend to others. As soon as I entered the restaurant, I was impressed by the stylish and inviting atmosphere. The loving design and the pleasant ambience create a relaxed and at the same time special atmosphere that started the evening perfectly. The service was outstanding – friendly, attentive and professional. The team took time for all guests and was always available without seeming intrusive. Special requests were also fulfilled easily and courteously, which made the service all the more impressive. The food was an absolute highlight. The dishes were not only creative and beautifully prepared, but also of outstanding quality and perfectly balanced in terms of taste. You can tell that people work here with passion and an eye for detail. Overall, I can only warmly recommend the Different Bonn restaurant. A great concept, excellent cuisine and service that leaves nothing to be desired – thank you for a wonderful evening! I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Disaster. I waited almost 2 hours for the information that the vegan cheese for the pizza was out. My companions had almost all eaten at this point. I was then brought the pizza without cheese without asking - a dry disaster. I stay friendly for a long time, but I had to take a deep breath here. A number of mistakes were also made with the food my companions were eating.

Food way too expensive. Burger with fries €16.90?! Pizza very lightly topped, but tasty. But also a bit steep for €17. Service often stands in the corner and chats. Ambiance is great.

The pizza was absolutely delicious, with a crispy base and super fresh ingredients. You can tell that they really have an idea here. The homemade lemonades are also amazing – nice and refreshing and not too sweet. The service was really nice and the atmosphere in the store was pleasant. We'll definitely be back! I can recommend it to anyone who likes good pizza and cool drinks.

The food was okay but I'm horrified that a shop that pretends to be wheelchair accessible from the outside with a wheelchair lift and then the only toilet on the first floor can only be reached by stairs. Absolute no go and it took ages until you were even asked what you wanted to drink or eat. The food was OK but absolutely not recommended because of the broken wheelchair elevator and the toilet without proper access. And despite asking, they were told there were no disabled toilets and only the toilets on the first floor

We celebrated our wedding at this wonderful restaurant and it was absolutely the best decision! The ambience was simply fantastic and suited our special day perfectly. The meal was a highlight in itself – every course was a pleasure and our guests were thrilled. The service was also first class: attentive, friendly and always available without being intrusive. This restaurant is not only a must for a cozy evening, but also highly recommended as an event location. Thank you for this unforgettable day!

Food super tasty, service staff very polite, but not that quick. Maybe search because we were a large group and it quickly became clear that everyone drinks well 🤣. The cocktails were lacking some pep, a bit low in alcohol, especially the aperol was more like a rosé, but everything was fine, so I could safely drive home 😉

Service runs haphazardly around the area. Customers wait for service and even leave without being served. It wasn't even 20% capacity. Clean cutlery would have been nice. Spaghetti Aglio Olio with raw garlic, what a shame.

Different is an absolute must for steak lovers! The juicy steaks are perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The service is attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. I've tried a lot of things and everything was just heavenly! The variety of cocktails allows me to have a suitable drink for every dish. I can highly recommend this restaurant. I'll definitely be back!

Nice, tasteful furnishings and spotlessly clean for such a large restaurant area. The service was courteous and friendly, although there were only a few guests on site. The food came to the table after a reasonable time and for all eaters at the same time. The aioli cream with bread was strange. The bread was eye-catching and delicious too. In my opinion, the cream, on the other hand, didn't have much in common with a normal garlic dip. Completely white and similar in consistency to nitrogen foamed pudding. In terms of taste, I would never have thought of aioli... The larger-sized pizzas had a very thin base and the toppings were not overly seasoned. The burgers looked like ready-made products from the Golden M..., nothing special in terms of taste either. All in all a nice evening, but that was more due to the company than the food.

Food was quite tasty, but service was quite bitter. You easily wait 30 minutes to be served while you're dying of thirst :)

Unfortunately I have to reduce my review to one star. So far we have always been reasonably satisfied with on-site visits. The Different was never a great culinary destination, but at least you could enjoy decent food. Today, unfortunately, an online order was simply canceled by the restaurant after an hour's wait. Great, maybe it could have been done earlier! Called, maybe it's a mistake. Instead of reacting with understanding in the spirit of good customer service, the staff of course prefer to treat themselves to a good dose of scorn, and also claim that this couldn't have happened because the kitchen was already closed two hours before closing time (?). Unfortunately, it's somehow typical of Germany's service desert, but here again in a particularly crude form. The service here was already rather slow and busy with people talking to each other, but this is actually a different dimension. Thanks for nothing!

Visited last week for the first time. Great starter and the pasta with butter, sage and pine kernels was just amazing! I'm back in Bonn on a few days and will try and visit again!

Still a nice place, but unfortunately the portions have become smaller. The last time I was there was in 2023 and the burgers were significantly bigger.

Nice to sit, good food and great for a meeting after work. Service was very friendly.

The place looks good from the inside, but the waiter from lunch is just super impatient, with a terrible attitude that made everyone feel uncomfortable. The burgers were not bad, but I think it's a rip-off that when you get a burger and select sweet potatoes fries you get charged 4 extra euros, specially when the menu say you can order them instead of the fires that are included in the menu.

The food tasted good to very good to all 17 people at the table. The rooms are very large and somewhat uncomfortable. But you can absolutely recommend it.

Beware of rip-offs! I had a burger plus apple spritzer. We were there for two hours and the overwhelmed waiter only came to the table once to take the order. Update 05/21/24 How are you going to explain a waiter who charges extra tips? When I'm in Bonn again, I'm sure nothing will pull me into the difference. We had to wait forever for everything. The burger and fries were just average. After two hours, I thirstily paid and the waiter simply added more tip to the credit card bill. If the service is already bad, then the customers will also be ripped off.

The food was very tasty, but unfortunately it wasn't served really hot. The waiting time was absolutely fine and the staff was very nice.

The pizzas were well received by everyone. We also had a salad that was good, the fries that came with it were lukewarm. The fish and cheese was bland and very dry. That evening the restaurant was half full, the staff was friendly and massively overwhelmed. We waited half an hour for drinks and over an hour for food. We couldn't have made repeat orders because the staff had disappeared. We had to wait almost as long to pay again. All in all, an unsatisfactory experience that we will certainly not repeat.

When we asked for still water we were served a refilled bottle of tap water and charged us over 6 euros.

From the outside, great, from the inside, unfortunately, bad The baked potato and sauces for the steak cost extra and are ready-made sauces, and mayo is slapped on the baked potato?!?! Steak wasn't served on lava stone but was floating in fat and oil on a plate! The coleslaw was delicious. About the service... The plate was handed to my friend over my head, which in my opinion is a no-go with a bill of 120 euros. All in all, not recommended for eating a good steak or enjoying good service!!!!

We were a group of 25 people and EVERYONE was very satisfied and full of praise. I can only repeat this at this point: a visit here is really worth it. Very tasty, the staff were very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was appealing. If you want to have a successful evening, this is definitely the right place for you.

A nice location in itself. Price-performance-wise acceptable and the portions fill you up. In pasta dishes with a side dish of fish, the fish is saved a bit but is still in the gray area. Sometimes it is very warm in the restaurant but I still like to go there. Overall recommended

A very well-kept restaurant with a nice atmosphere. A fairly large selection of delicious food and drinks with interesting variations. Made something special out of classics :-) Good portions, attractively garnished, very good value for money. Been there twice and definitely not the last time. Recommended! Easy to reach ;-) Just try it out!

Food very tasty, atmosphere cozy. Was there for the second time. Too few staff for the number of guests. The staff is quite quick, but there are simply not enough of them, so you have to wait too long if you want to reorder something, for example. If this point is improved, I would be happy to give 5 stars :)

An absolutely rude waiter made us wait for 30 minutes while he served the tables next to us at least ten times. Eye contact was out of the question and we were sitting on the highest tables, impossible to miss. When I called him, he just kept going, he rudely said "right now", when I was fed up I went and wanted to confront him about it and he answered incompetently and said that he hadn't done anything wrong and didn't even bother to apologize in the head. You shouldn't hire something like that, he's totally arrogant, he ruined my evening with his manner.

Good, inexpensive pizzas. Effective service. A little too crowded at lunchtime. Seating not for smaller people. Exceptionally good espresso. It deserves 6 stars!

An interesting restaurant with event space. Very nicely decorated. The only annoying thing is the constant video presentation of the options in the restaurant on a loop every 5 minutes.

Chic restaurant with a wide selection of food and drinks. I particularly liked the pizza there, which is really big. Friendly service, reasonable prices and no disproportionately long waiting times, even at lunchtime, create a harmonious overall picture.

We got a table for two, even without a reservation. Service was very accommodating. Food was good. Pizza was pleasantly crispy until the end.

We'll have lunch at the local restaurant. The dishes were all very tasty. From pizza to mac chesse to burgers, we tried everything and found everything to be very tasty. The homemade lemonade in different flavors is really delicious and highly recommended. We'd love to come back.

As soon as I entered the different I was promptly greeted and given a seat. The order was also taken quickly and delivered very quickly. In terms of taste, the homemade lemonade was highly recommended and the pizza was also good, even if it didn't seem that spicy for a Diavola. All in all, a recommendable location.

The vegan bruschetta was very tasty but for nine euros, two small pieces are really not much. The staff wasn't nice. Very arrogant and in my opinion not authentic. Too bad.

Great restaurant close to the office with a variety of choices such as pasta, pizza, and burgers. Everything tasted delicious, though the wine I chose was a bit too watery for my liking, making it a regrettable selection on my part.

Food and ambience is okay. However, the service usually doesn't deserve a star! Due to a business lunch, I requested an invoice to the company address. Unfortunately after 3 months there was still nothing!! You are put off every time on the phone, but nothing happens. Emails are also not responded to. Therefore we will no longer eat there privately or on business.

Certainly worth one or more visits. Despite the relatively full house, the service was quick and the waiting time for the food was also reasonable. The steak looked great and was cooked to the right degree of doneness. Unfortunately, the taste and the quality of the meat were not that convincing. My companion had the 400g steak and was satisfied. Maybe I just didn't get a good piece.

Not expecting much. So my expectations were met.

That was the unfriendly waiter I have ever experienced in a long time. Food okay, I can't say anything more positive about it. Prices exorbitant for the portions. In a group of >50 people we were insulted in various ways, it felt like they were doing us a favor and not like we were paying customers. In the best possible sense, this was perhaps excessive demands or incompetence? For example, instead of politely asking to be let past, I was barked at as if I was a child under 5 (and even that would be inappropriate). The food was distributed in a hurry (with help from us because we ordered it in advance) and it was still chaotic. We asked for mayonnaise three times and were then scolded because we asked again after eating a dry burger for 20 minutes. Completely impossible.

My experience at Different Restaurant was average. Although the atmosphere was very pleasant, the food was a bit disappointing. The service seemed friendly and motivated. The selection of food was appealing, but the preparation left something to be desired in terms of taste and presentation. Hopefully management can make improvements to optimize the overall experience for future guests.

Stomach pain from eating if you want to sit on the toilet until the morning is the right place! My girlfriend and I both had a strange stomach ache afterwards and our requests were not taken into account at all. The steak arrived raw even the second time, my noodles weren't cooked through either and the prawns were used very sparingly and they had shrunk from cooking for too long.

Mediocre to poor experience. Intransparent map and pretty much a rip-off in my opinion: There is no indication of how many grams a burger patty has. Patty tasted relatively normal like anywhere else and not particularly different. Fries are not fries but thin fries that look like a lot. I took the cheese sauce upgrade at a great price and was massively disappointed because there were only a few bits. Burger rolls standard, I would have expected more for the price. Texas burger costs 1 euro more than cheeseburger and you only get 1 slice of jalapeños and they aren't even in the burger and I also found the diameter to be relatively small. There was no invoice when paying to get an overview. So the price is 2 burgers with fries and cheese sauce and 2 cocktails 52 euros. The menu primarily includes burgers, pasta and pizza. A large drinks menu. Spacious seats and basically a lot of space in the restaurant. The service is friendly, but they don't always have an eye on the table. You have to pay attention and draw attention to yourself in order to order something. The service is friendly.

Die Angestellten sind nett und es ging sehr schnell, aber die Größe der Portion ist lächerlich. Es ist gerade mal der Boden bedeckt. Für diesen Preis (11,50€) nicht zu empfehlen.

We have only ordered take out so far a few times. The food is good, not fantastic. The pizza is ok, the salads are nice but I wish the dressing wasn't already on the salad (and instead on the side) because there is too much for me and the lettuce is soggy by the time it arrives. That said, it's tasty and the prices are ok.

Richtig leckerer Burger. Allerdings keine Garderobe, was mich im Winter doch stört, da die Jacken und Mäntel aufgrund der Stuhlform über der Boden schleifen. Daher werde ich persönlich nur im Sommer dort hingehen....

Tolle Atmosphere, tolles Essen, toller Service.

Das Different ist ein recht gutes Restaurant. Hier kommen wohl viele Gruppen hin denn an unserem Abend war volles Haus und mehrere Gesellschaften vor Ort. Entsprechend laut war es, was dazu führte, dass die Musik auch lauter wurde, sodass man sich kaum noch unterhalten konnte. Essen war sehr gut, ich hatte einen Burger und das Essen der Anderen sah auch sehr gut und lecker aus. Preise sind angemessen.

Ein wundervoller Abend bei Different. Mein Team und ich hatten wahnsinnig leckeres essen und mit tollem Entertainment. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen und wir werden wieder kommen.

Super Essen, Super Service danke dan die Bedienung. Komme sehr gerne wieder. Alleine am Eingang sieht man schon was für eine Klasse dieses Restaurant hat. Das Essen schmeckt super und ist ein echter Gaumenschmaus. War mit meiner Familie hier und jeder war beeindruckt vom Essen. Der Service ist mindestens genau so guty. Das Trinken und Essen wird schnell gebracht und alle Wünsche werden schnellstens bedient. Danke für die super Stimmung und den super Service.

Absolut tolles Essen und super Auswahl bei fairen Preisen ! Aber... ...es war viel zu kalt. Jeder aus unserer Gruppe hat gefroren. Einige hatten sich sogar 2 Jacken angezogen und es hat nicht gereicht. Auch die Füße waren kalt.

Wir waren spontan abends mit mehreren Leuten da. Ambiente ist nett. Der Service war sehr gut und freundlich. Getränke und Essen kamen immer sehr zügig. Das Essen war lecker. Preis/Leistung ist in Ordnung mit Tendenz zu etwas teurer.

Wie zu befürchten war bei der sehr diversivizierten Speisekarte, blieb das Essen hinter den Erwartungen. Der Service war, obwohl wir mit einer größeren Gruppe vor Ort waren und ausreichend Personal bereitstand, leider teils desinteressiert und nicht grade pro-aktiv. Die Location an sich ist nett gemacht und auch stylisch umgesetzt. Würde mich freuen wenn in Zukunft die Küche sich mehr spezialisieren und das Personal mehr mit Gästen als untereinander agieren würde.

Völlige Überforderung des Personals.

Das Restaurant finde ich von der Preis Leistung zu teuer. Bedienung spricht kein deutsch. Im inneren ist es sehr sehr laut, so das man kaum was versteht. Für größere Gruppen vermutlich optimal aber für eine kleine Gruppe fand ich es nicht besonders empfehlenswert.
