For appetizers, we enjoyed Handkäse mit Musik, roast beef, shrimp, Grüne Soße, and eggs: all dishes prepared with great care, fresh, and rich in flavor. The first course, tagliatelle with truffles creamed in a parmesan wheel, was a true spectacle, fragrant and creamy to perfection. For the main courses, we tried the Doradenfilet vom Grill with spinach risotto, parmesan, and Krustentier-Schaum: a balanced and refined dish. The veal Wiener Schnitzel and the beef sirloin steak, pink and tender, were also excellent. Finally, the desserts: caramelized Kaiserschmarrn and Spekulatius tiramisu served in a glass. Simply delicious! Attentive and friendly service, a welcoming atmosphere, and the highest quality in every course. Highly recommended for a special occasion or for anyone looking for an authentic German gastronomic experience with an elegant touch.

A truly recommendable restaurant and a real insider tip. The selection of dishes is excellent and the quality is worth the price. Be sure to ask about the daily specials; they have some great options. There was even a children's menu for our kids, and they said the food was delicious too. The service was also very pleasant. However, there was a bit of a wait between the appetizer and the main course, even though it wasn't very busy. But that's my only minor criticism. Otherwise, it's a really great restaurant. There's also plenty of parking, and lots of charging stations for electric cars.

The food was fresh and delicious, the selection was good, and it was perfectly suitable for children. We especially appreciated the relaxed atmosphere and the friendly staff. You feel welcome and not just "processed," as is often the case in many cafeterias. The price-performance ratio is perfect; we'll definitely be back on our next visit to Klassikstadt.

We went for dinner this evening and had a wonderful time. The service was excellent; our food was served very quickly. ​And best of all, the food was truly delicious! We definitely recommend this restaurant and would gladly return.

As soon as you enter the restaurant, a sign announces the "Catch of the Day." Good thing! Had it been a fish from the nearby Main River, it would have ended up on my plate, too. But with monkfish cheeks... Instead, I ordered the porcini mushroom cream schnitzel (delightfully crispy with a delicate buttery flavor from the breading, indicating the appropriate use of the frying fat), with spaetzle – all in decent portions. My companion also had nothing to complain about with the veggie burger. My medlar tiramisu was delicious, and the ambitious portion of Kaiserschmarrn left nothing to be desired. The service was friendly and attentive. So why only 4 stars? Well, because of the drinks: The dark Hövels was delicious and well-chilled; you can't find this beer on every corner either – so it's recommended. I have a problem with the way the homemade lemonades are presented: Severely wilted mint leaves don't contribute to a good impression in either the otherwise delicious house lemonade or the tiramisu. And the high number of ice cubes (five in the lemon lemonade, nine in the blackcurrant-ginger lemonade, which has only a subtle flavor of its own) was truly annoying on this chilly October day. Whether it was well-intentioned and wrong, or to save money on the original drink, this dosage would be inappropriate even on a hot summer day on the terrace. The service staff's helpful suggestion to simply order the lemonade with less ice only solves the problem for guests who are already used to it. Therefore, 9 out of 10 points, or four (and a half) out of 5 stars.

The service was amazing. Super friendly and always available for a quick chat. The schnitzels weren't pre-made frozen ones, but freshly made. Yes, that's how it should be, but they could be a bit better with fried potatoes. But the drinks and food were great, highly recommended. A bit on the high side, but the atmosphere was great. But for fresh schnitzels, pounded yourself, it's absolutely perfect. We'll be back.

It was my first time there with two colleagues. My colleagues had been there before. I ordered a veal schnitzel and my colleague also ordered pork schnitzel. The schnitzel that I ate, i.e. I ate one piece, was like rubber and raw. It wasn't cooked properly and I almost threw up and I immediately got a headache and I was red, hot and it hit my stomach. When we explained it to them the boss counted it out and in the end we had to pay the full amount. At the end when we brought it up again they only gave me a coffee. Actually I wouldn't have given it any stars but here you have to. 1 star but actually no star. The waiters didn't really listen to us or acknowledge us. I can't recommend the restaurant to anyone and we drove that far.

Cordon Bleu is available in many restaurants, but here with Gruyère... it was a real blast, the sea bream was super delicious, and the Kaiserschmarrn was to die for. Good food, delicious wine and good cocktails.

We've enjoyed going to the company canteen for years. We appreciate the food and the good service. Today, we were served by a corpulent woman with short hair. She had an aggressive manner with guests, something more appropriate for a prison canteen than for the Classic City. I hope she was just having a really bad day and this isn't her everyday behavior. And if it is, I wish her heart to be filled with love and that she becomes more caring in her interactions with guests and employees.

We only had coffee and cake here, but I was very impressed by how prompt the service was. I don't think I've ever seen such fast, and incredibly friendly, service in any restaurant before. The coffee and cake were delicious.

The ambiance is truly top-notch. Good seating both inside and outside. Unfortunately, we only found one of the waitresses friendly. The other waitresses weren't quite as friendly and inflexible. The prices are only worth paying because it's right next to the Classical City. Unfortunately, the food was okay, but we wouldn't go back for that. Next time, we'll just visit the Classical City.

There's a good selection of food and drinks, not too much, which I personally find very positive. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The prices are only fair given the quality. Parking is not a problem due to the location in the city center.

The meat was perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, and the salad was fresh and sophisticatedly seasoned. You immediately notice that the food here is prepared with high-quality ingredients and great attention to detail. The daily changing lunch menu is also particularly positive, always surprising with unusual and creative dishes – and all at a truly attractive price-performance ratio. Delicious food in a nice atmosphere

We were there for a private event (summer party with 200 guests) and it was very nice and professional.

Kantine ist die richtige Bezeichnung - aber nicht für den Preis. Das Publikum in der Kantone gehört zu den Reichen und Schönen, oder möchten sich zumindest der Illusion hingeben das sie dazu gehören. Und darum sind sie vielleicht auch bereit, für relativ nichtssagendes Essen im Schnitt 30 € auszugeben. Ich hatte das Wiener Schnitzel und da ich vor einigen Tagen in Bayern war hatte ich hier den direkten Vergleich. Abgesehen davon, dass es ein Miniportiönchen war, bestand das Schnitzel fast nur aus Panade, war fad und irgendwie nass, so das der Verdacht naheliegt, dass es sich um Tiefkühlware handelt. Auch die anderen Gerichte, Nudel, Salat waren ohne Finess und insgesamt einfach zu teuer.

Gegrillter Pulpo war butterzart und die anschließende Steaks von glücklichen Kühen eine absolute Punktlandung. Die jeweiligen Sößchen und die gut gewürzten Pommes passten hervorragend dazu. Abgerundet wurde das Ganze mit lecker Bierchen und einem sehr guten Service.

A unique ambience meets culinary masterpieces. Probably one of the most valuable buildings in Germany, judging by the value of the vintage and new McLaren cars parked inside, it has housed the "Werkskantine" restaurant for years, with its fantastic ambiance, partial views of the gold treasures on four wheels, and a staff that sometimes seemed forgotten. A fantastic reception, with all available seating options offered, and menus promptly served with four aperitifs. Great crossover dishes. Vegan options are also well-received. It's nice that all dishes are offered to guests as small and large meals. We then had octopus, cream of asparagus soup, market salad, and a lentil cream terrine with Frankfurt sausages as an entrée, before the main course of rump steak, tartare, and a beef fillet crowned the evening. The fries with the steaks were top-notch, and the tartar was at the level of master butcher Thomas Reichert. 😉 To go with it, a Red Black Print from Schneider, one of our absolute favorites. Two '05 wheat beers on tap from Büble and two or three Chardonnay grappas as rinses also did their job perfectly. With the fillet, it was noticeable that it unfortunately had two or three tendons inside, which shouldn't be the case in this league and for 42 öre. They passed it on to the kitchen, but nothing more. But that shouldn't spoil a truly wonderful evening with excellent hosts. Clearly recommended💪☝️

Wir hatten nach einem frühen Abendtermin in Offenbach Lust darauf, etwas Gutes zu essen und sind in der Werkskantine mehr als fündig geworden. Das Essen, das Ambiente und der Service waren einzigartig! Wir waren quasi auf der Durchreise, hatten nicht reserviert, und das Restaurant war voll. Trotzdem haben wir zu zweit einen guten Platz bekommen, wurden zuvorkommend und sehr aufmerksam bedient, auch einem Sonderwunsch kam man gerne entgegen. Wir haben die Werkskantine noch am gleichen Abend weiterempfohlen und kommen sehr gerne bei Gelegenheit wieder.

Wir wurden herzlich empfangen in einer coolen Location in der Klassikstadt Frankfurt, trotz Reservierung konnten wir dennoch bei schönem Wetter draußen auf der tollen Terrasse sitzen. Die Vorspeise (Variationen für 2) war sehr lecker, bis auf den Handkäs, aber das lag mehr daran, das dieser nicht unser persönlicher Geschmack war. Zum Hauptgang gab es leckeren Fleischkäse mit lecker abgeschmeckten Kartoffelsalat. Insgesamt gute Produkte lecker zubereitet. „Garniert“war das alles mit freundlichem und herzlichem Service. Sehr gut, wir kommen wieder.

Today the works canteen once again demonstrated how service works. I had to wait a little longer for my food and then a different dish came than the one I had ordered. I then ate the dish because I didn't want to wait any longer. The service person then brought the dish I had actually ordered, offered me an espresso for dessert and at the end my drinks were also taken over, plus a sincere apology. I completely understood, the store was packed today. Still five stars for this great service. The food was also very tasty! I'd love to come back!

Habe hier einen sehr leckeren Salat mit Hähnchenbruststreifen gegessen. Die Hähnchenbruststreifen bestanden tatsächlich aus 3 Hähnchenbrustschnitzeln die portionsmäßig auch für Schwerstarbeiter gepaßt hätte. Salat mit sehr leckerem Dressing. Nach der Besichtigung von Oldtimern in der Klassikstadt in direkter Nachbarschaft ein sehr schöner Ort zum Essen und Verweilen.

Password: factory canteen (all lowercase) Also attractively designed inside. But once all the seats are occupied it will be loud. Lots of parking spaces in the yard in front of the door. Be careful, the menu on the web shows completely incorrect prices! The highlight here is of course the attached car repair shop for fine classic cars and the Maclaren dealer! Be sure to take a look

As soon as you enter you can feel that there is a pulsating character here. Brick, steel, vintage glam – the whole thing looks like a set from “Chef’s Table: German Edition”. And then the moment came: Tomahawk. Steak. Not simply served - no, staged on a table charcoal grill. A smoky greeting from the fire, crispy on the outside, tender like butter on the inside. Plus truffle parmesan fries that crackle like a good beat, and oven-baked vegetables that make any steakhouse look old. The recommended material, Rosé, wasn’t just wine – it was a statement. Fruity, dry, perfect as a counterpoint to the grill aroma. Sommelier vibes at its best. What made the experience better? The service. Our waiter was a real host: present, warm, unobtrusive. Not “processed”, but “coordinated” – like a well-composed sauce. Conclusion: The factory canteen is not a restaurant, it is an experience space for food lovers. For everyone who wants to know what modern dining tastes like in an industrial look with soul. We'll be back - because that's what Frankfurt tastes like on a large scale.

Extremely unfriendly waiter, I think it was even the manager. First you wait a long time for a seat in a half-empty restaurant and then you get pestered when you ask politely, quote: “I won't let them stress me out” - wow, customer focus looks different! Food is ok, but nothing special! We only come because of the location. I have absolutely nothing against waiting, but rude behavior towards customers is not acceptable and recommending that you go somewhere else tops the whole thing. Next level bad service, wow.

Extraordinary place embedded in the car classic city of Frankfurt. The food is prepared to a very good standard using fresh regional ingredients. The map is Hessian inspired. You eat at long tables. The table decoration is rather rustic. In addition to the standard menu, there are also daily recommendations. The prices are high but correspond to the quality of the ingredients. In summer there is also space on the terrace. Before or after your visit, it's worth taking a look at the classics on display. The only drawback is the location in an industrial area on the outskirts of the city Parking spaces are plentiful. In any case worth a visit.

We (2 men, 62 + 77) were there for the first time today. The ambience and the service staff were impeccable. But any good snack can make meatloaf with potato salad of this quality. Then the mustard from the bag and all for the proud price of €17.50! (The portion could at least have been larger) How they managed to get first place in the “German Cuisine Frankfurt” category again is a mystery to us.

This is a fantastic place for a meal. It is set in an old cool looking factory with amazing cars on display all around. The food itself is traditional German which is what I was looking for all the cool cars were just icing on the cake. The lentil soup with Frankfurt Sausage was extremely good. It was served with dark German Bread that really made this an excellent starter and if I was not so hungry could have been a great lunch. The schnitzel was veal and was done very well and so good. I did splurge and end with a slice of traditional apple pie. This was a highlight of my day eating such amazing food in an amazing atmosphere. If you are looking for a fun spot with good food this is the place for you, if you are in this area.

The atmosphere is great, we really liked it. The food was also super tasty, great quality. But.. My husband had the Cordon Bleu with truffle fries and a side salad, which was recommended to him. However, meat and fries were charged separately. As a result, the price was extremely high. I had a sirloin steak, which was almost the same in price. In general, the prices are rather high, so we probably won't be able to do it again. It's a shame, but too often you can't afford that. There are restaurants that offer just as good food, but are significantly cheaper.

Anyone who knows me and reads my reviews knows that I have seen a lot in my life. The quality, service and atmosphere created here is second to none. Whether it's the schnitzel, a piece of meat (entrecôte...filet)...fish or desserts....There's so much love and so much quality in every piece of food, it's unbelievable. Here you can enjoy the simplest Hessian dishes of fantastic quality or give the chef free rein and have them serve you from Neptune's garden. I ask myself how it is possible to deliver this quality again and again. And at lunchtime, for under ten euros with dessert! How is that supposed to work? This means I can have lunch here several times a week and it's worth every euro. Lately I've been enjoying getting advice from the service staff about wine or dessert variations, and I'm always pleasantly surprised. I can recommend this restaurant without hesitation. Ten stars if there were ten, unfortunately there are only five 😜

Wir wollten an meinem 76 Geburtstag mit Ehefrau, Tochter und Enkelin mal etwas Besonderes erleben und hatten auf Grund des erkennbar hohen Preisniveaus mit entsprechenden Erwartungen reserviert. Bei der Reservierung hatten wir wegen des Anlasses und weil meine schwerkranke Frau auf ein mobiles Sauerstoffgerät angewiesen ist, um einen etwas abseits liegenden Tisch gebeten. Das wurde uns auch mit großen Worten zugesagt. Leider wurden wir dann mitten im Lokal an einem 8 Personentisch zu schon anwesenden 4 fremden Personen dazu gesetzt. Beim abdecken der Vorspeisenteller rutschte der Bedienung ein Teller vom Stapel und zerbrach mit lautem Knall auf dem Tisch, dabei unsere Tochter mit einem Hagel von Bruchstücken und Esssensresten überschüttend. Einzige Reaktion, tut mir leid. Dann eine Vorspeisenplatte für 2 Personen, bestehend aus einem Esslöffel Räucherlachs, einem Esslöffel Roastbeef, 3 kleinen Silberzwiebeln, ca. 10 Gramm Handkäse und einem Ei mit etwas grüner Sosse, dazu 4 winzige Stück Brot und 4 kleine Stücke Flammkuchen, aber kalt und von gummiartiger Konsistenz. Das ganze für € 34,--. Als Hauptgericht einmal Doradenfilet mit Risotto für € 28,50, leider kalt , einmal hausgemachte Gnocchi, soweit okay und einen VGN Burger (ein Veggiburger mit ca. € 2,-.- Wareneinstand) ohne sonstiges für € 18,80. Nachdem wir die scheinbar fehlenden Pommes dazu reklamiert hatten, kam noch ein kleines Schüsselchen Pommes nach, welches wir dann für € 6,-.- zusätzlich auf der Rechnung fanden. Mir wurde ein nicht auf der Karte befindliches Cordon Bleu ohne Preis angepriesen. Ich bekam dann ein fast schwarz fritiertes und völlig vertrocknetes Cordon Bleu mit einer Füllung, die nur zu ahnen, aber nicht zu sehen oder zu schmecken war, und dazu ein Löffelchen Erbsen mit 3 kleinen Stücken Zuckerschote und 2 kleinen Karottenschnitzen sowie einen Fingerhut mit Preiselbeermarmelade. Der Schock waren dann die € 32,-- für diese Katastrophe auf der Rechnung. Beim bezahlen der Rechnung wurden wir dann aufgefordert, auf einem Eingabegerät zwischen 8%, 10% und 12% Trinkgeld zu wählen. Die Preise für den Hauswein mit € 7,-- schienen angemessen, allerdigs gab es dafür nur ein Probiergläschen mit 0,15 Inhalt. Fazit, nie wieder, Preise fast wie Sternerestaurant (was mir egal wäre, wenn die Leistung dazu stimmt) , Leistung, manche echte Werkskantine ist besser. Oh, was für selige Zeiten, als noch eine Doris-Katharina Hessler in Dörnigheim, oder ein Joachim Sauter im Bürgerhaus Bischofsheim den Kochlöffel schwangen. Mittagszeit im Frankfurt Osten bis nach Hanau, eine kulinarische Katastrophe.

The excursion began with an impressive tour of the vintage cars on display in the classic city - a real highlight for car lovers. Afterwards, the factory canteen in Frankfurt offered a first-class culinary experience. The Baden-style tarte flambée was excellent, accompanied by a Sauvignon Blanc and a Pinot Gris. The service was first class and made the visit unforgettable. Perfect for a successful day!

Sweet potato curry and crème brûlée were a feast for the eyes and the palate. The location is off my usual path, but it's worth the trip and I'll definitely come back.

The factory canteen is a very special place. There is a large selection of dishes here that taste really delicious. I would love to try the whole menu. The various cocktails were also all very successful. This place is a real insider tip not only because of its excellent cuisine, but also because of its unique atmosphere.

We were there for goose dinner and it was perfect! The atmosphere was super pleasant and the food was very, very tasty.

We had dinner in the works canteen today and were thrilled. Very good food, very nicely presented and super nice service 👍🙏👌

Impressively restored factory site, beautifully lit in the dark. The cars in the shop windows are in a class of their own.

Neither a guest nor a customer, more of a supplicant: that was the latest and last experience I had today. The “service” under all cannon. Greetings as I entered were not returned by several service staff, and I didn't see a smile in 2 hours, neither to myself nor to the other guests. I don't know why the front door had to be left open all the time when the outside temperature was 2 degrees today. It was like “pike soup” inside. The service was rather condescending and harsh. The icing on the cake was that they couldn't give out change (30 cents) - or didn't want to, because I didn't want to give a tip for this type of service, actually. I can't understand where all the good reviews come from. For me today was the last visit to this location.

Absolut herausragender Service. Bei Alex waren wir aufgehoben wie bei einem guten Freund zuhause. Das Essen war sehr sehr lecker.

Es war einfach super. Mona hat uns einen hervorragenden Wein empfohlen und das Essen war perfekt. Jederzeit gerne und wieder 😎.
