If you go as a couple or in a small group, the à la carte dining is great. It's not designed for large groups (50 people).

Lovely atmosphere, all wood, background music, a wood-burning stove, and lights create a very welcoming atmosphere. Excellent food, unique dishes. The duck was truly delicious. Excellent service, very kind people. Highly recommended!

A fun, rustic atmosphere with après-ski vibes. The food is seasonal, unfortunately not a huge selection, but sufficient.

Lovely restaurant, friendly owner, short wait (although we had pre-booked as a group), the food – I had the Viennese veal schnitzel – was very good and a generous portion. My only slight complaint was the presentation of my dessert: I ordered two scoops of ice cream with whipped cream, but the ice cream was squashed together in a small to-go paper cup with a plastic spoon, and the whipped cream was missing. A small plate or a glass bowl, perhaps even with a cone, would have been a better choice. Otherwise, everything was perfect, as it was for the other members of our club party.

Great atmosphere, it really gets you in the mood. We were here for our company Christmas party. We had a good time, the service was friendly, and they were very accommodating. Personally, I was a little disappointed with the food; I guess I expected more. The dumplings didn't taste homemade, more like they came from a package. The pumpkin soup was very salty, as were the Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle). The goulash and red cabbage portions were very small, and there were no seconds. The crème brûlée really tasted strongly of egg, and I wasn't the only one who thought so. I'll definitely come back again privately to try the à la carte menu. It seemed to me that everything had been prepared in advance and then reheated, rather than being freshly made. It wasn't necessarily bad, but there were those minor personal criticisms. You can definitely have a nice evening here, though. The musician was a bit too loud.

Anyone wanting to experience the atmosphere of a ski lodge should go to Rodgau. We ordered a goose, and it was truly delicious. The accompanying red cabbage and dumplings were perfect. The service was impeccable, and the ambiance is very cozy. We'll be back.

From the outside, the hut looks truly rustic. A typical hut. Inside, the wood is once again prominent in a large hall. However, the space is still relatively manageable. During the week, the hut wasn't fully occupied, except for two guests. This also made it easier to take in the impressions. The interior is rustic, with a cast-iron wood-burning stove on the wall. The tables weren't like those in an alpine hut, but it wasn't bad at all. The service was friendly; it must have been the owner who was cheerfully serving us. A radio station played over the speakers...from Switzerland. So if you want to get used to it for your next vacation, this is the place for you. For the food: the menu was typical and expected for such a restaurant. We ordered cheese spaetzle with a side salad and venison goulash, both options to gauge the potential of the restaurant for us. It was a first visit. The cheese spaetzle were a dream, the cheese was perfect, and it was a top-notch dish. The side salad went perfectly with it. The venison goulash was served on a wooden board, with a plate on which a bowl with two dumplings and a separate bowl containing the cranberries were placed. The sauce was already visibly reduced. Unfortunately, aside from the visual presentation, I have to say that I didn't particularly enjoy the dish. It was generally lacking in salt, although some people prefer game meat differently. The sauce wasn't thin enough for me to be absorbed into the dumplings. I'd still like to work on the presentation. Otherwise, we'll see, maybe try other dishes.

I stayed at the Strauss Guesthouse across the street for four weeks. I spent a few evenings in the hut. Everything was excellent, but the original Wiener veal schnitzel deserves special mention. Simply outstanding, top-notch 👍👍👍And, of course, the top-notch service. I'd love to come back.

We had excellent food and thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance in the hut. A change of scenery from the very first minute. The service is particularly commendable: From the moment you arrive, you're warmly greeted by the chef and made to feel welcome until the very last minute. Chapeau!

Hello everyone, here's a little tip for where to eat. We visited the hut for the first time two weeks ago and we were so impressed that we've been back several times. The owner-run, very attentive, almost caring service leaves nothing to be desired. The ambiance of the hut enchants you from everyday life into a cozy hut feeling with pleasant, light background music (sometimes even live music). Fresh bread and butter from the kitchen is served promptly. At the table, a large piece of Parmesan cheese is grated with gloves on a super fresh carpaccio, accompanied by excellent wines from the Palatinate region. The schnitzel is pounded to the minute and served nicely crispy and tender on the inside. The 290-gram steak is incredibly juicy, and the fries deserve an A+. The various dumpling dishes were surprising, which I haven't read about anywhere else. The pizza is baked in a stone oven, the espresso from a special espresso machine, and the cheesecake and ice cream are made in-house by a pastry chef. The menu will change for the winter; we're excited. These many sophisticated, large, and delicious little treats make the evening a pure delight in an unusually warm atmosphere. Without question, we'll be back soon and are happy to recommend it.

A very nice place to eat or drink something. The meat was excellent quality. It tasted wonderful. A few suggestions: the salad could be a little less sweet and a bit spicier. A roast or baked potato would round out the menu. We'd be happy to come back. Best regards, Rupert and company.

Here you can find the best Kaiserschmarrn outside of Austria! And the other dishes are also all recommended. The menu is small, but there is still something for everyone. The innkeeper is incredibly nice and hospitable, and the inside of the hut is like an alpine inn. In summer you can also sit outside.

Als "Mehrfachtäter" wieder mal in der Hütte. Wie immer "TOP" in allen Bereichen. Ein Wirt der seine Arbeit gerne macht, sehr lecker, gute Stimmung und voller Bauch!

B... the wall, what was going on there? We were there for the first time today, and I'm so satisfied that I'm not sure if I was really just there for the food. I know these reviews always sound a bit unrealistic, but everything was truly excellent. Even the bread and butter that were placed in front of us as soon as we sat down was... I don't know. Bread with butter isn't supposed to be that good. The fried cheese dumplings (whose original name I can't repeat here right now) were excellent. The veal schnitzel was sublime, the fries were perfect, the crème brûlée was the best I've ever had, and the chocolate ice cream was just damn chocolatey. The hut is absolutely beautiful, and you sit (totally unexpectedly for me) on furs and cushions on cozy benches and chairs. I haven't been this satisfied since my beloved EinsFünf inn in Rodgau closed (and broke my heart) a few years ago. I pray to the moon goddess that this will be just as good on each of my many future visits!

Completely satisfied, We had reserved for ten people, but ended up being 11 people - no problem. Despite the warning in advance that the kitchen would probably not be able to serve such a large group at the same time as the other guests. All the food we ordered still came at the same time! The different food was very good. A big thank you to the kitchen! The charm of the hut really resembles that of a mountain hut with the cozy warmth of the fireplace, the warmth of the boss and the good cuisine. The hut is worth at least one visit!!!

I had a great fried chicken salad. Super fresh with delicious dressing. It's very comfortable to sit in and the landlord is very friendly and attentive.

The menu includes very unusual dishes for such a location (e.g. Surf&Turf). The owner recommended that I get the seasonal goose leg, despite it being about half the price, and it was fantastic. The homemade vanilla ice cream for dessert was free. We found the atmosphere to be very quiet and beautiful on a Sunday afternoon. The ski hut looks very authentic and left a homely, pleasant impression. Including real wood stoves and other things. The staff is extremely attentive and accommodating. Almost a little too nice. But only almost. Update: now my third visit, I tried the goulash: perfect! Exactly it has to be a goulash, and the so-called side salad does, positively surprised, my eyebrows raised... always a highlight, even when it comes to service.

Die Hütte ist eine durchweg angenehm positive Überraschung im Restaurant Allerlei. Wir kommen wieder!

We had dinner in the hut with 5 people on the 4th of Advent 2024. Four people had the goose leg and one person had a rump steak on the lava stone. All 5 meals were super tasty. Great restaurant, great ambience. We'd love to come back.

The restaurant attracts with the very beautiful location of a wooden hut. Unfortunately, that's the only positive thing about this restaurant. The waiter who served us was very listless and strolled past us pointlessly, often without saying a word, staring at the table. The food was beautifully presented but ABSOLUTELY not tasty and not recommended! The prices are absolutely outrageous and only pay for the ambience. The group next to us at the table had already received their food before us and we could already tell from this reaction that the food was not good. It's a shame that this restaurant only relies on ambience. The food is absolutely not good and cannot be recommended for the price, even if the reviews and the small menu give a different impression! Pure disappointment...

War eine Einladung von Freunden, ein toller Tipp. Das Essen war wirklich topp und hervorragend abgeschmeckt(5 Sterne). Der Wirt hat das richtige Gefühl für seine Gäste! Gerechtfertigter Preis!!! Da lohnt auch die Anreise aus Bad Orb. Es gab sogar schon Gänsekeule. Ein toller Abend, gerne wieder!!!

We came here spontaneously. Typical hut flair. You feel like you're in the mountains. Rustic facilities but very comfortable. The service is very accommodating. We immediately felt welcome. For dinner there was a rump steak with fresh mushrooms and fries and a premium Viennese-style schnitzel with sauce and fries. Price-performance ratio is right. We'll be back.

A nice hut in the style of ski huts in the Alps. The food is good, but not quite original, unfortunately the best things were out that day... (ok, 1 day after the quarter-final game...). The food came for 15 people at the same time, remarkable!

The hut in the commercial area. The small menu is ok so far. The dishes, some of which are Austrian, are striking. Who cooks the specialties from Austria? Apparently not the boss. The service is extremely friendly. He praises his homemade bread with butter (there are other and better spreads), which doesn't taste good. Not baked and too salty. The prices of the dishes are far too high compared to the quality and quantity. The schnitzels are at best canteen quality. The concept doesn't fit together.

We celebrated our son's communion here. It was super nice! All of our guests and we were more than satisfied, both with the food, the ambience and the service. The coordination in advance was super relaxed and uncomplicated, and I was able to change details even the day before. Since the weather wasn't clear as to whether we wanted to sit outside or inside, Tim simply set up for us outside and inside and we were then able to decide for ourselves when we arrived. We can recommend the hut to anyone who wants to host a celebration. Thank you for the great day 😃

Something else. Very nicely decorated. Surprisingly, the waiter took care of almost everything that evening. Drinks are prepared, served, guests are welcomed, wood is fetched and laid out for the stove, food is served and orders are taken beforehand. It was extremely well organized and always very friendly. We were really positively impressed. Otherwise, found something else to eat on the menu. Pressed cheese dumplings. There were two different versions. Delicious. The only deduction we would give is for the localization. Since there are supermarkets nearby, the location doesn't seem so exciting.

Wir sind regelmäßig Gast, weil das eines der wenigen Restaurants in dieser heutigen Zeit ist, wo einfach alles passt: herzlicher aber nicht aufdringlicher Service (Tim, Du bist einmalig - vielen Dank dafür), Speisen vom Salat über Steak bis zum Kuchen immer lecker, ausreichend Parkplatz für Auto und Fahrräder ;-) Auch wenn "Die Hütte" nicht an einem üblichen Restaurant-Standort angesiedelt ist - Ambiente und das Gesamtpaket sind einen Besuch immer wieder wert. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung!

Even 5stars are not enough! I visited here alone to have lunch and it was the best choice I guess. Comfortable and peaceful mood, the best place to eat alone, the restaurant owner got up from his seat right after watching at me. I already thought like I will be here back soon. I felt so good until I finish to have meal! The food was also great!! It was the best Steak dish ever I tried in Germany. Although I wanted to order Steak with Prawns but this one was also very good.(maybe there was a little misunderstanding because I can’t speak German well😭) I would like to order that on the next time! Thank you for providing me good foods and comfy place to have meal!😆 If you are looking for a nice restaurant with good atmosphere around this region, I recommend this place. I think the price is a little expensive to eat here often. What do you think about enjoying the great meal with your precious people on the special day? I would like to take my parents here someday. Kann man jedem nur empfehlen. Nicht nur weil das Essen gut ist, sondern auch die Ambiente, der Service alles top man fühlt sich wie im Winterurlaub in den Alpen. Preise sind auch ganz gut nur finde ich die Getränke etwas zu teuer aber sonst alles perfekt. Wir wurden auch öfters höflich gefragt ob alles in Ordnung ist und das macht ein gutes Restaurant auch aus man sollte sich als Gast wohl fühlen und das hat funktioniert. Werden aufjedenfall öfters kommen

Ich war heute mit 2 Freundinnen dort und es war prima! Sehr sehr freundlicher Wirt, uriges Ambiente und das Essen war sehr lecker. Es ist etwas teurer, aber auch qualitativ überzeugend. Werden auf jeden Fall mal wieder hingehen!

Hatten in der Nachbarschaft einen Geschäftstermin. Wir bekamen um 21:30 Uhr noch lecker essen. Tolle Qualität, toller Service, sympathischer Gastgeber. Haben die Location durch unseren Termin entdeckt und werden sicher wieder kommen.

Sehr gutes Essen. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend,freundlich und humorvoll und die Location an sich ist genial. Man wähnt sich fast in den Bergen.

Wir waren gestern dort. Die Lage ist jetzt nicht so besonders (Industriegebiet halt), aber sobald man die Hütte betritt ist die Lage nebensächlich. Mit diesem Ambiente hätte ich nicht gerechnet. 😍 Die Auswahl der Gerichte war begrenzt, trotzdem für jeden was dabei (Vegi, Fleischesser). Die Qualität der Speisen war tippi toppi, und wie die Speisen angereicht werden, sowas hat man hier im Kreis auch nicht oft. Der Sevice allgemein betrachtet war richtig gut. Ok, die Preise sind nichts für schmale Geldbeutel. Für dieses ganze Konzept aber echt angemessen. Wir waren nicht zum letzten mal hier🫡

Schönes und sehr gemütliches Restaurant. Die Speisenauswahl ist Recht klein aber jeder findet was und das was es gibt ist qualitativ hochwertig und richtig lecker. Auch die herzliche Art wie wir empfangen und bedient wurden war nicht aufgesetzt und hat den Abend perfekt abgerundet. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
