Nice location for events and friendly staff. Unfortunately, the food was below average. Everything but really everything was convenience products. A salad buffet completely out of a glass/can is really disappointing

It's important to put this review into perspective a bit. Have I eaten better? Yes. Are there more beautifully designed guest rooms? As well. But this restaurant is authentic and unfortunately you don't find that too often anymore. The atmosphere is old but it fits there. The food is not particularly exceptional, the components on the plate are definitely not prepared by a star chef. But the food I get there is exactly what I imagine. It's good, it's freshly made, it's reasonably priced. Home cooking. Apart from the side salad, which unfortunately doesn't really taste that great. Behind the counter (which is actually a counter and not just a food and drink outlet) is the boss himself. A super nice person. He was super helpful during our visit. We had a very good chat with him and therefore remember our visit very positively. We were here with a gourmet block and will continue to visit the restaurant again and again in the future - with and without a block.

I had dinner there with my parents on January 5th, 2025. The atmosphere was that of a clubhouse, which was true. The waitress was attentive, but seemed quite helpless. My mother's food didn't come until 15 minutes after ours, something like that is absolutely not possible. My parents' meal, both had lamb, once as a skewer and once as a stew. The meat was very tough and fried to death. My minced meat skewer was relatively ok, but still fried for too long. We suspected that since there was a breakfast buffet that day, our food was taken from the buffet and briefly warmed up again. In short, once and never again. Because our complaint was only responded to with a shrug of the shoulders.

Edit 2024 Unfortunately, after several disappointing deliveries, I have to revise my review significantly downwards. When the store was new the quality was really outstanding. In the meantime I have to say that the quality of the kebab meat and especially the sauces has deteriorated extremely significantly. The last three times in a row I had a yoghurt sauce that tasted as if it had been made exclusively from sour milk. In the following delivery I therefore used garlic sauce and exactly the same thing. The sauce had a very strange sour taste. So third order with the spicy sauce and I have no idea what it's supposed to be, but it's not spicy, it's just incredibly salty. The extreme salt taste was so bad that I had to throw the kebab away. Even if you order pasta dishes, you are simply served pasta with the cheapest ready-made sauce. Sorry, but I can make this myself for a third of the price. Unfortunately, I will no longer be ordering from here and unfortunately I can no longer recommend the store, which I personally think is a shame. Really good new kebab! I order here regularly now. Definitely one of the best delivery services in Nieder Roden! We've tried almost the entire menu today and have always been impressed. No matter whether kebab, fries, burgers or pizza. Everything was great! The kebab is topped with homemade bread, fresh salad, crunchy red cabbage, onions and really tasty coleslaw. The meat was also very good and well seasoned (I suspect chicken). The kebab plate is also great. Crisp fries, good meat, delicious garlic sauce, what more could you want :) Price-performance is also good and the drivers were always super friendly and quick. We will definitely order again.
