Wir haben nur etwas getrunken, aber das Restaurant sieht schon super aus

Der Service in diesem Restaurant ist leider eine absolute Katastrophe. Die goldene Gastronomie-Regel „Niemals mit leeren Händen vom Gästetisch gehen“ hat hier offensichtlich noch niemand gehört. Wir hatten Vorspeise, Hauptspeise und Nachspeise. Jedes Mal wurden die neuen Gänge an den Tisch gebracht, ohne dass vorher die leeren Teller abgeräumt wurden. Am Ende stapelte sich das schmutzige Geschirr auf unserem Tisch. Über den gesamten Abend hinweg hat uns zudem kein einziges Mal (!) jemand gefragt, ob wir noch etwas trinken möchten. Um zum Schluss überhaupt noch etwas bestellen zu können, mussten wir schließlich selbst aufstehen und an die Theke gehen. Dort standen der Chef und zwei Angestellte entspannt zusammen und haben sich unterhalten, während die Gäste ignoriert wurden. Die Preise auf der Speisekarte sind relativ teuer, was durch die Qualität des Essens leider nicht gerechtfertigt wird. Aufgrund dieses miserablen Service und des negativen Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnisses werden wir definitiv nicht wiederkommen. Keine Empfehlung!

Nach einem schönen Spaziergang am See und einer Runde Minigolf sind wir abends hier eingekehrt. Erwartet hatten wir einen schönen Biergarten mit gut bürgerlicher Küche – und genau das haben wir bekommen. Uns war klar, dass es vermutlich sehr voll werden würde, und das war es auch. Trotzdem war das Personal durchgehend aufmerksam, freundlich und gut organisiert. Die Bestellungen kamen zügig, alles war richtig und wir mussten trotz des Betriebs nicht lange warten. Das Essen war durchweg sehr gut – egal ob Vorspeisen, Hauptgänge oder Nachtisch. Natürlich ist es kein Fine Dining, aber das haben wir auch nicht erwartet. Es ist einfach ein richtig schönes Ausflugslokal mit guter Küche, angenehmer Atmosphäre und einem tollen Biergarten. Von uns gibt es dafür sehr gerne 5 Sterne. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Die Förster ist ein sehr gutes Restaurant, hier schmeckt das Essen hervorragend.Die Tellergerichte sind ausreichend für einen guten Appetit. Das Personal ist hier sehr nett,freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Ambiente ist Eiche Rustikal mit Teilweise Försterhaus Charakter,aber auch Modern und schön. Ich kann das Restaurant Empfehlen für einen Besuch für Jung und Alt. Es gibt dort auch einen sehr schönen Ausenbereich zum verweilen unter Bäumen. Ganz in der Nähe befindet sich der Baumwipfelpfard.

Fertig-Kartoffeln, kleine Portionen für viel Geld. Service nicht wirklich freundlich. Der Chef ärgert sich vor Kunden lautstark über sein Personal, was das Ambiente drückt. Spargel war lecker. Aber für 25€ auch nur 5 Stangen. Extra Wünsche außerhalb der Karte nicht möglich.

Wir waren zum heutigen Muttertag zu Viert hier und restlos begeistert. Das Ambiente ist toll und die Speisen waren saisonal und richtig lecker zubereitet. Der Service war herzlich und aufmerksam, wir haben es sehr genossen und kommen gern wieder.

Wir haben die Försterei am Sonntag den 3.5. besucht. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich und schön gestaltet. Das Essen hat die Erwartungen leider nicht erfüllt. Die Spargel waren nicht so Geschmacksvoll wie man es so kennt. Das Rinderfilet hat nach Schweinefleisch geschmeckt. Die Schnitzel haben bitter geschmeckt. So als das Frittieröl alt gewesen ist. Ich bin ein Freund davon meine Anmerkungen zu äußern, aber an den Abend habe ich das nicht gemacht. Meine soll eine Konstruktive Kritik sein damit zukünftig vielleicht anders laufen wird.

Das Jägerschnitzel für satte 23,50 € hatte die Größe von 5 Fischstäbchen und war mit großer Sicherheit nicht frisch zubereitet 😡 Die Fertig-Soße war bereits kalt und enthielt keine frischen Champignons, sondern genau 5 Champions aus der Dose/dem Glas. 5 Stück! Der Beilagensalat sah zumindest ansprechend aus, schmeckte aber nach nichts. Die Pommes waren knackig und lecker. Für das Gebotene ist der Preis eindeutig zu hoch. Da liefern andere Restaurants für unter 20 € besser ab.

Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich und schön eingerichtet. Die Bedienung ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Speisekarten hat für jeden etwas dabei. Allerdings war das Essen ein wenig zu stark gesalzen. Ansonsten sind die Portionen angemessen und die Zutaten gut.

Gemütliches Location zum Feiern im Osnabrücker Land. Ich war hier als Hochzeits-DJ gebucht und positiv überrascht. Die gemütliche Location lädt zum Feiern ein. Buffet war sehr lecker und liebevoll angerichtet, Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Perfekt zum Feiern für kleinere Gesellschaften. Genügend Platz um ausgiebig zu Tanzen und zu Feiern ist ebenfalls vorhanden. Sehr zu empfehlen! Event-DJ Tom Hendrics, Celle

Sehr gute Qualität und super lecker

Wir sahen die Försterei durch Zufall, gingen rein und aßen gut, in angenehmer Umgebung... Das Restaurant ist sehr gut eingerichtet, sodass man sich hier gleich wohl fühlt... Die Bedienung tat ein übriges dazu, durch Freundlichkeit und Kompetent... Die Speisen waren alle wohlschmeckend und gut angerichtet... Am besten jedoch, gefiel uns die Größe der Portionen im Verhältnis zum den Preisen ! Hier stimmt das Preis/Leistung Verhältnis noch sehr gut...! Also von uns, die volle Punktzahl und absolute Weiterempfehlung...

Wir haben meine Mutter in der Reha besucht und haben in der Försterei Mittag gegessen. Die Karte hat für jeden was dabei. Senioren können auch eine Seniorenportion bekommen. Preis-Leistung ist hier perfekt. Die Portionen sind ordentlich. Wir hatten das Schnitzel Wiener Art und das Wildgulasch. Es war beides super lecker. Zum Dessert gab es für mich dann die Creme Brule mit Zimteis, selten so ein wohlschmeckendes Eis bekommen. Für meinen Mann und meine Mutter gab es Kaiserschmarrn mit Zwetschgenröster. Kaiserschmarrn war auch ne ordentliche Portion, wäre zum Dessert auch für zwei Personen geeignet. Sehr lecker und fluffig, Zwetschgenröster war sehr gut abgeschmeckt und die Zwetschgen hatten noch biss, was ich persönlich sehr gut fand. Sehr zu empfehlen. Zum Abschluss noch einen Kaffee und Latte Macchiato mit after eight. TRAUMHAFT!!! Die Mädels im Service sind echt toll. Freundlich und beratend zur Stelle. Weiter so. Die Einrichtung ist modern und gemütlich. Farblich sehr schön abgestimmt.

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Abend. Das Ambiente ist super gemütlich, man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Der Service war aufmerksam und herzlich. Das Essen war qualitativ wirklich auf höchstem Niveau. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Besuch am Sonntag, 25.1. gegen 16 Uhr. Die Försterei hat uns mit einem wunderschönen Ambiente sehr positiv überrascht. Die gesamte Inneneinrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll, mit vielen schönen Details- auch z.B. die Speisekarten und Servietten sind liebevoll und individuell gestaltet. Der Service war schnell, nett und zuvorkommend. TOP. Das Essen selber hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Auch ein eher triviales Schnitzel wird hier mit Pfiff gestaltet. Die Preise der Getränke sind normal/preiswert, das Essen ist schon relativ hochpreisig. Dafür bekommt man hier aber auch Stil. Aus unserer Sicht sehr empfehlenswert.

Also das Ambiente und die Lage ist sehr schön, die Kellnerin war freundlich und der Service war gut. Das Essen war nicht so stark, die Ravioli schmeckten sehr Ölig aber wenig würzig meiner Meinung nach. Für mich stimmt an der Stelle das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht. Die Karte ist auch nicht besonders groß.

The Kaiserschmarren looked and tasted like frozen goods. There was no cake left at 4 p.m. But the most exciting thing was the service: the number of times the tall, white-haired man walked past the leftovers on the tables was quite entertaining. Despite all his efforts, a napkin was still left lying around. Many aisles with individual items hindered effective service. An elderly lady begged to be allowed to pay immediately. "Just have your coffee in peace first," was the reply. Folks: get some proper coaching, then this place might turn out well. Until then: bye, bye.

A really great restaurant, nice ambience and delicious food

Nice location, very attractive decor. Nice and comfortable seating. Several of us came here for coffee on the weekend, but were disappointed by the cake selection—only three different sheet cakes, some of which were still frozen!

It's a real shame. I arrived at 8:30 p.m. When we asked where we could sit, the friendly waitress told us the kitchen had just closed. I really like it there, but I'm going to take a break now. I don't understand why they're open until 11:00 p.m.

Great location, right on the treetop walkway. We were there for a concert. We'd love to come back again.

We had coffee and cake. The beer garden was very busy, but unfortunately, there was only one server to take our order and pay. We waited a long time for our order. The staff seemed unfriendly and overwhelmed at times.

When the weather is nice, the beer garden invites you to linger.

The waitress completely ignored us. Despite repeated requests for the menu, nothing happened. We finally had to get the menu ourselves. When we tried to place our order, we were ignored again several times. This left a very bad impression on us.

Very disappointing! We had reserved a table for two. The drinks arrived after 30 minutes, and we were only able to place our food orders after the waitress announced it. After waiting 50 minutes for the food, we left the restaurant. No apology from the staff. My husband's table was sticky, meaning it hadn't been wiped down beforehand. You have to give one star undeservedly to post a review.

Beautiful ambiance, very friendly waitresses, delicious food. We had a reservation, which is highly recommended for a small group. Our group was able to sit outside and even shelter under an umbrella when it rained. Portions, such as the schnitzel with chanterelle mushrooms, were very generous, and a senior citizen's plate is available. All in all, a pleasant visit to "Der Försterei am Baumwipfeldpfad."

The ambiance, the service, the friendliness of the staff, the wait time—even though there were a lot of guests—everything was perfect! The food was plentiful and we all enjoyed it very much. The atmosphere was nice, so I expected better quality food than what I was served on a Sunday lunchtime. The dishes for our group arrived after 45 minutes. That would have been okay if the turkey schnitzel I chose had been delicious. But it wasn't. It wasn't freshly prepared, just briefly heated in the fryer. At least, that's how it tasted. The side dishes were also okay. It's a shame; I expected more.

A visually beautiful restaurant with a great menu. Unfortunately, the service couldn't keep up with the orders, and they served raw fried potatoes... What a shame...

Been there for the second time. The ambience is great and the location next to the forest invites you to take a walk afterwards. The staff was super friendly and the drinks/food were served promptly, although the restaurant was busy and the lack of staff in the catering industry is probably also a factor here. The food is really delicious and the menu varies seasonally. Dogs are also welcome. Gladly again.

An hour between starter and main course is just abysmal… very poor service

Everything was consistent. We ate here with the family and everyone was very satisfied. The atmosphere is really super, nice, cozy and modern. You immediately feel comfortable. The food was almost too unspectacular for this great ambience. Four people had schnitzel, including me, and it was tasty but nothing super special. The sauce with the mushrooms was really good and the others who had fish and duck also said it was very tasty. I thought the fried potatoes were great, there could have been a few more as they were as tasty as they were.. The crème brûlée also tasted very good together with the cinnamon ice cream. The service was super friendly and attentive. A great restaurant that we will visit again.

Yesterday we went with the company to eat kale there. Food and service were great!! We sat upstairs and unfortunately it was very uncomfortable. The light was far too bright and the table arrangement had something of a wedding/birthday feel to it. We sat far too far apart and we had to shout at each other a bit. The lower location is a dream, we would have loved to have sat there. But well, maybe next time. Despite all of this, absolutely recommended 👍

Very good cuisine and well-kept atmosphere

Tasty food, but some dishes are very salty. Others, like the Ravioli, were very tasty.

Because of the service, the quality of the food and the location I have to give it 5 stars. The prices, on the other hand, are high in my opinion. When roasting pork, the amount of meat is definitely sufficient, but the side dishes are absolutely not. For €20 you could serve a few more vegetables and one more dumpling. With the schnitzel it's the other way around, far too little meat for over €20. It's a shame because the quality and taste are really good. The staff was very friendly and competent, everything went very quickly and card payment was also possible

Bread dumplings-Piffikus, a nice name, but what is perhaps a little inconspicuous on the plate, with a salad on the side, is a culinary poem. I don't often rave about food, but I can highly recommend this dish to anyone who eats here. I like eating dumplings and have eaten them many times, especially in the supposed original land of dumplings, in Austria 🇦🇹 . And I like eating chanterelles. This interaction here was perfect. The bacon is not the main focus, the onions are not dominant, but each is well seasoned and goes perfectly with the dumplings. Not only by the way, the service is also attentive, courteous and has a good hand for the guests, despite the crowds and the full house. Those waiting get a comfortable place on the sofa. At least ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ would be appropriate and fully deserved here, chapeau, hats off. It's a shame that I'm "just" a thru-hiker and the chances of me becoming a regular guest are almost zero 😉.

In keeping with the forest experience, the forestry department on the treetop path serves various dishes with chanterelles in the autumn months. So after forest bathing you can also experience the taste of the forest. The kitchen is ready to accommodate “special requests” in the interests of the guests and can also delight them with this.

The food was delicious every time! No long waiting times, even though it was always very busy! The service staff has always been very courteous and nice!

My mother is in rehab at the clinic next door. Since she is only mobile with a wheelchair, we went to the forestry department. Very well-kept beer garden, delicious and generously sized food at reasonable prices. Super nice staff! Unfortunately the forestry department is not open every day, alternatively there is a Bavarian-style beer garden next door... I can't necessarily recommend it, self-service is ok, but very unfriendly!

You can easily spend the whole evening there

Wij zijn vriendelijk ontvangen en wij hebben gekozen voor een plaats op het terras. Wij hebben eerst iets te drinken besteld. Na enige tijd hebben wij de dienstdoende gastvrouw vriendelijk gevraagd of we konden dineren en dat was mogelijk. Wij hebben als voorgerecht gekozen voor een mooi boullion, die rijk gevuld en goed van temperatuur en dat smaakte uitstekend na een lange fietstocht. Daarna is het goed bereide hoofdgerecht geserveerd en ook dat was uitstekend van smaak. Dat alles onder het genot van een lekker biertje en wij waren ruim voldaan. Dit restaurant ligt in een mooie en rustige groene omgeving en heeft een ruimtereis waar het goed toeven is. Ook binnen is er wel genoeg ruimte maar lijkt reserveren toch gewenst. Al met al een uitstekend restaurant om te dineren als je in Bad Iburg op bezoek bent

Gladly again! The object of my enthusiasm is the vegetarian Ibörger. The staff is service-oriented and naturally friendly. The interior design follows the name of the restaurant very well.

The meals were delicious and sumptuous. The service was on point. The ambience exceeded expectations. If life brings me closer to this location again, I will certainly be happy to come back there.

We had a falafel bowl and the fitness salad. Both very tasty and with fruit, lots of toppings and special dressing, better than you often get with salads. The fries that came with it were far too big to be a side dish, but also very tasty. The waiter was quick, courteous and nice, even though it was a bit busier on a warm summer evening. The beautiful atmosphere on the terrace under the trees rounded off the evening.

Top-notch cuisine, but the waitstaff's smiles are rarer than a unicorn sighting. Maybe they're saving them for the dessert menu! Turned out not 😄🍽️

Despite having a reservation, we waited 1 3/4 hours for the food, which was just too long, sorry, even though there was a cappuccino on the house afterwards. Food was OK, a bit cold, burger unfortunately nothing special. We had to travel over 20 km, which wasn't worth it.

We spontaneously went to the beer garden in the afternoon. Ordered a few little things. It was all very tasty. The service was also very good even though it was very busy. I really liked the location.

We had reserved. The postal address won't get you very far. So we called: How do I get to you? Not a single sign in the whole place! We came to a different address with the advice that you could park in the gravel parking lot. No sign here either, but some old lamps with beer advertising on them. We walked that way and then found the entrance. That was done once. We went into the building, after all we had a reservation. It was quite lively. She had drawn a curtain at the counter, perhaps so that people wouldn't be disturbed? We waited for some time and were then told that if we wanted to go into the garden we were welcome to do so and choose a table. The garden is very pretty with beautiful beech hedges and a water feature. Unfortunately my husband couldn't sit on the chairs. He's quite tall and had a lot of trouble there. So we went inside. We wanted to order when we were told that there had already been 200-250 guests there before us today and that's why some dishes were sold out. Wasn't that what we were told? Who? When? We've only just been served. I would have liked to leave again. I have to eat vegetarian due to inflammation, I had to eat a completely different dish than the one I actually wanted to eat. When I expressed my disappointment, I was proudly told that the food was fresh. That's just how it is with untrained staff! Maybe we are too demanding, but in a restaurant we simply expect fresh food. Otherwise I'll just put a pizza in the oven at home. I think the many sold-out dishes are just bad organization and I'm not prepared to eat leftovers that the guests in front of us didn't want. One should not forget the prices for the unloved food. That doesn't exactly cause enthusiasm. My husband got the dish he wanted and was very satisfied. I unfortunately do not. My vegetable side dish was very good, the dumplings were not to my taste. That was really a failure. Oh yes, the toilets were certainly fine when they opened, but by 6 p.m. it was just chaos. Whatever was on the floor... there wasn't even any toilet paper left in some of the cabins. That's not exactly professional. The staff was at times very overwhelmed. The ambience was great, as was probably the desired food, but unfortunately there wasn't much sense of organization and professionalism. Visit the restaurant if it's not too crowded then it might work, but if it's busy it's not recommended. Unfortunately, it could be so nice if everyone there knew what their job was. There's still a lot of room for improvement...

Wir wollten an unserem 1.Hochzeitstag fein essen gehen. ABER... sollte nicht sein... Bei meinem Gericht fehlten gegrillte Cocktailtomaten, Oliven und Ofenbaguette beim servieren. Auf Nachfrage erhielt ich das Baguette und die Info, daß keine Tomaten mehr da sind. (Wir waren mittags da.) Auf die Oliven habe ich dann nochmals hingewiesen. Wurden mir von der Kellnerin dann auch gebracht, zusammen mit einem Strauch Tomaten, ungegrillt. Der Koch ließ fragen, ob das denn jetzt auch ungegrillt okay ist.... Wir waren fassungslos und haben dies auch zum Ausdruck gebracht. Danach wurden wir völlig ignoriert, von der Kellnerin geschweige denn, daß der Koch sich mal zu uns bemüht hätte zwecks Erklärung. Eine andere Kellnerin fragte uns dann irgendwann, ob wir noch Wünsche hätten... Naja, die Rechnung dann bitte... Nach nochmaliger Erklärung bot sie uns einen Schnaps zur Wiedergutmachung an, was wir dankend ablehnten. Wir haben dann darauf bestanden, mein Gericht von der Rechnung zu streichen. Dies wurde dann auch genehmigt - von wem auch immer. Fazit: Totaler Reinfall für unseren Hochzeitstag und kein schönes Zeugnis für Die Försterei.

I went to the restaurant for dinner for the first time. We felt welcome straight away. 30 people ate goulash soup... Delicious and everyone was happy... oh one of us wanted vegetarian food... no problem... anyone who can do that is good.

We weren't served for 15 minutes until I went in myself and asked where we could order. After we finally ordered, the drinks were brought out pretty quickly. However the cakes (3 pieces) only arrived after 20 minutes which was strange as they are prepared in advance. We tried to get the waitress' attention but it seemed like we were ignored. Also, 2 out of 3 cakes (forest fruit cake) weren't sweet enough - maybe that was one of those recipes, but I didn't like it. The beer glass was also cracked. the prices are OK

Nettes Ambiente. Toiletten könnten sauberer sein. Großer schöner Biergarten. Bedienung freundlich.Spargelsuppe lecker, doch zu viel Sahne. Das dünne Baguettescheibchen war fast schon eine Frechheit. Das Schweinefilet mit Bratkartoffeln war ok. Sowohl Bratkartoffeln als auch Speckbohnen waren TK. Das Knodelduett schmeckte gar nicht, der Teller heiß, die Knödel lauwarm. Sollte mit Workgemüse serviert werden, es gab aber TK Gemüse, was nie einen Wok gesehen hat. Eine Handvoll Romanesco, Blumenkohl undl Karottem in ekeliger Soße. Die Tiroler Schlutzkrapfen waren ganz gut, von getrockneten Tomaten oder Salbeibutter keine Spur. Stattdessen einen großen Haufen Rucula drauf. Zumindest ein Schälchen Parmesanspäne dazu. Zu keinem Gericht gab es Salat. Einen Gruß aus der Küche oder ein bisschen Brot mit Dip/Butter ist wohl mittlerweile dem allgemeinem Preianstieg zum Opfer gefallen. Wer selbst nicht kocht, wird mit dem Essen wahrscheinlich zufrieden sein. Andere kommen nur noch auf ein Getränk oder auf Einladung von anderen.

We were there with 4 people, first in the beer garden because the weather was still good, later in the forestry department because it was raining. The service was very good, despite the fact that there was a wedding party on site, the service staff were always there and nice and friendly. The ambience inside and outside was very nice and cozy, toilets were clean. The food was a pleasure, you found new fans and we will definitely come back and recommend you to others. Lg

Where the guest is not a king... We were invited to the celebration, unfortunately our table was not set, a main course was forgotten, even though the relevant entries had been made days before. The mistake was in no way regretted, on the contrary. The dish that was then served - pike-perch in a potato crust (?) - was not worth the money, and the immediate comparison at the table revealed a farce. The service was arrogant and even stroppy when it came to questions and requests, so much so that people no longer dared to ask for napkins or cutlery. We didn't feel comfortable or welcome there. Conclusion: not for connoisseurs, but the masses will be satisfied.

Everything great. The food was very tasty and served really hot. The dessert was just disappointing. And it was very loud.

Went there with four people to eat kale. Nice atmosphere and nice staff. Food was served nicely arranged on warm plates. 1-2 Kassler pieces were a little dry but otherwise delicious.

The visit probably falls under the chapter “Youth Researches” . The service always made an effort, but if there is a lack of basic understanding and resources, it is better to close one side of the dining room and work with fewer, but then satisfied, customers instead of annoying the entire mass of guests.
