I liked the hamburger, but it's way too expensive! €12 for a simple 150-gram single-patty hamburger?! There are much cheaper places nearby with just as good food...

Small but extremely good. Delicious, homemade, high-quality burgers and fries. No mass-produced food or quick meals. Unfortunately, it sometimes happens that you can't get a table because the place is quite small, or you have to share a table with others.

It was delicious. I ate there despite having celiac disease and felt well looked after. The staff was very friendly. We also liked the ambiance, although it was quite chilly in the restaurant.

You can sit comfortably here if there are seats available 😏 The burger was incredibly delicious; the only thing missing to make it perfect was the juice in the 200g meatball. The fries were delicious, and there's salt on every table for seasoning as needed. You can order any side dish you like for your burger, but be careful‼️ it can get expensive. It tastes delicious even without it. I had the barbecue, which was very smoky, which I liked.

It's a small restaurant, but the food is prepared with love. The staff is always cheerful and extremely friendly, even when it's busy. The burgers are truly first-class—every time, without exception. Fresh, juicy, and delicious. I also appreciate that they use whole-wheat buns! The fries are also delicious, but the portions are quite large (one is always enough for two of us). A quick tip: Try the truffle mayo with the fries.

Avoid any big chain fast food restaurant, once you have tasted real food...a pure delight....

Used bandages were stuck between the table cracks, very unappealing, and the burgers and fries were seriously overpriced for their bland taste (€12-15, €6 for fries, €1.20 for mayo). On top of that, the waiters themselves eat burgers while serving; in my opinion, they should take a break for that and not talk with their mouths full.

This place can make delicious, soft, well done burger. It is not easy to get soft delicious burger when you ask for “well done”. Many places I’ve been to failed at that. Totally worth the visit.

Unfortunately, we have to say that this was our last visit to the burger joint. We ordered one chili burger and one BBQ burger. Each came with fries and a drink. For a whopping €47.50. The patties were so dry that they were crumbly and had a strange taste. Regarding the fries, I had said I didn't want the old fries mixed in. To which I was told that this was normal, and sometimes the fries just don't taste good. The fresh fries weren't crispy and had absorbed all the grease. That's a great statement considering the portion cost €6. Unfortunately, the guys who usually serve them weren't there. The end result: we both had stomach problems afterward. The young lady was probably more concerned with offering free burgers in exchange for coffee and eating our own meals. We weren't familiar with the burger joint like that.

Unfortunately, I can't really recommend it to anyone anymore. The prices are absolutely terrible. A burger without a side order costs at least €11-€15. Fries €5.50 and sauce costs extra. Then a 0.33 liter of iced tea costs €3.80. So, that's really anything but popular. In terms of taste, the Burgerei unfortunately doesn't offer much of a wow factor with its regular burgers like the hamburger and cheeseburger. The fries are really great, but unfortunately a bit too few for €5.50. All in all, there's currently the new kebab shop Babaq. For €13, you can get an XL kebab, and it's at least the same quality and definitely more spectacular in taste, plus it's definitely filling. Or a plate for €16. Compared to the Burgerei's most expensive burger at €15, it's still a much better deal. I'm really sorry, but I'm rather averse to the future

As a regular customer for years, on Sunday, July 20th at 8:20 PM, I was refused service because the restaurant closes at 9 PM. I find this unacceptable because we came all the way from France specifically for your burgers! If you can't serve two people 40 minutes before the restaurant closes, then you need to change your opening hours!

Lovely, quiet spot to have lunch or dinner. Located just off the main street in Saarbrücken, it’s in an ideal location. The burger and fries were simply amazing and the staff were really friendly. Wonderful stop on my bikepacking trip. If I’m visiting Saarbrücken again, I’ll definitely come back!

MUNCHIE CORNER!!!!!!!!!!!! (Bleichstraße 1A, 66111 Saarbrücken) or DER DADDY! (Neustraße 47-49, 54290 Trier) is the better choice in every respect if you want a great burger and good service, and value quality. But even Burger King and McDonald's are better than this dump—but that's not particularly difficult, to be honest!

I remembered the burger place as being super delicious - our experience today was rather mediocre. We had a cheeseburger and a chili burger. Neither really had much flavor. They were large burgers and we were quite full, but we found the taste rather "boring" in both cases. Sure, the chili burger came with chili chutney, which is a bit spicy, but that didn't change anything overall. Otherwise, I can say that the people in the place are super nice and the atmosphere is good, just as others have reported. 😌

Anyone who likes burgers will love this place.

I have eaten here a handful of times and it is the gold standard to which all other burger and fries have to live up to. I take this place very seriously and drive almost an hour to eat here because I won’t willingly eat a burger and fries anywhere else. Friends will coax me into trying a different joint but they never hold a flame to Die Burgerei. This is a holy place that sets the bar high. I always get whatever is on special and have never been disappointed. I have brought so many people here just to have an excuse to not be that guy eating a juicy delicious burger with a heavenly bun and perfect life changing fries alone. If you ever wanna go, let me know, I’ll miss the birth of my first born son to eat here.

For me I was the best burger in Germany the meat is so automatic. The staff is super nice, a bit left-field but very friendly, very cool, you can have fun with them and you can tell that everything is done with love. Above all, you see what all the magic happens? I love it.

The burgers were good but the place is too small with 20 cm between each table. There is no service to the tables. You have to order and pick up everything at the counter.

I just didn't like my burger. Also the warm cucumber on top instead of cold sour cucumber: not tasty, too little sauce and the veggie pattie just wasn't tasty either. Too bad. Unfortunately it just wasn't for me.

A small, cozy self-service burger shop We received a super friendly welcome. Also good advice when ordering. The burgers were juicy even the chicken burger wasn't dry. The fries were perfect. Only the chilli burger could have been a little spicier for me. But that's just my personal taste. I would like to highlight the chestnuts with chestnuts, which I tried for the first time and was totally thrilled.

Absolutely great there. Everything prepared by yourself. The “burger paddies” are also a decent size. The fries made from fresh potatoes. To be recommended with a clear conscience. I always enjoy eating there.

Unfortunately I can only give 1 star. Went there yesterday. The fries were so salty and the burger didn't taste good at all.

The two of us had dinner there yesterday... rubbish. A patty almost cold and still quite raw. The other patty was completely fried and no longer juicy. The desired whole grain bun was simply ignored and then the crowning glory: fries with an unbelievable amount of salt........for a mere 40 EUR. Never again. I remembered the store much better.

You wait a few minutes, but everything is freshly prepared and the burgers taste good and filling. The decor of the restaurant is also great.

Extremely unprofessional. According to Uber, someone from the restaurant would deliver my order (so no tracking). They did not deliver my order, and then they refused to cancel the order. (I waited for 1h30m before I called them, because I'm usually a very patient customer) And then Uber does not let me cancel it, because according to Die Burgerei, the order is still pending. DO NOT order from these people.

At first I was pleasantly surprised. The menu is clear and easy to understand and the prices are also reasonable. When the food arrived, although it wasn't served, I was a little disappointed - the meat was too cooked and you weren't asked how you would like it. The fries, on the other hand, were delicious; However, there is also a lack of sauce on the burger. Accordingly, you can taste most of the meat. What also bothered me about the service was that you have to go in to order and you also have to go back to the store to pick up the food. If you're sitting outside, this is quite inconvenient - for example, you can't finish your cigarette because you don't know whether your food is already ready. The environment really calmed me down. It is very pleasant and also shady even when the sun is strong. In principle, I can still recommend this restaurant if you want a good burger. I would still express the wish to be asked what status the flesh should best be in. I also criticize the fact that you have a free dip that is automatically served as ketchup. It is nowhere stated that you get a free dip and therefore you are not aware that you can change this.

In my opinion, the menu is a good size and covers a wide range of tastes. Ingredients are always fresh and the meat is also offered English/rare. This is an indication of the freshness and quality of the meat. I was always extremely satisfied with the taste. The self-service concept keeps prices within reasonable limits. 20/25 € for burger, fries and drink.

When it comes to opening times, you should probably mention that the kitchen closes 30 minutes before the end and no longer accepts orders. Then the guests can save themselves the journey there.

You can't go wrong here. I think the outdoor seating in front of the entrance is very nice. They have a minimalist design. The food is of good quality. The chicken on the chicken burger was well done and tender, as it should be.

I wrote an email in advance to inquire about the allergens. The email was returned because the mailbox was full.
