DIE BRÜCKE in Frankfurt am Main

I was back for the first time in a long time (years! I moved, etc.), just for a drink. I felt incredibly comfortable, just like I always did, and above all, the service was super friendly. A really warm and cheerful young man. It was really nice. The interaction with the not-so-young guests on the terrace was very pleasant and friendly, almost neighborly. Perhaps a coincidence, but it was nice to experience such an unpretentious atmosphere again. It felt a bit like the turn of the millennium, in a good way.

Really great food and a great selection. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. It was a real shame there was no follow-up service. After the main course was served, there was virtually no service—so instead of refills, a digestif, coffee, or dessert, we just got the bill.

Amazing meal. No english menu, but our waiter was super helpful and gave us great recommendations, all of which were delicious.

The place and the people were wonderful but the food was not good. The risotto was not made with arborio rice, it did not have the right texture and neither did it taste good. Also the chicken tagine, a mix of vegetables, couscous and chicken but without any connection to the original taste. I do not recommend this location for dining!

If you're in Frankfurt for a quick visit and want to feel right at home, you should definitely visit Die Brücke! It has a very cozy and informal atmosphere with a lovely courtyard. The service is super friendly and attentive, and the food and drinks are truly delicious and organic. We'd love to go back!

I was only in Frankfurt for one night, very hungry, and stumbled upon DIE BRÜCKE quite by chance. I felt extremely comfortable: the atmosphere, the space, the vibe, the people who work there... and the food was fantastic. Greetings from Berlin, please keep up the good work, I hope I can eat there again soon!

We were looking for a restaurant that offers really tasty dishes with a mixed menu and can absolutely confirm that the Brücke is a real Sachsenhausen insider tip when it comes to food. Super tasty, lovingly cooked and super nice and attentive service. Plus so many vegan/vegetarian variants. My gluten-free companion was also given easy advice and had a large selection. Atmosphere is also good. We'll be back.

As far as I know, the Brücke is the last remaining (and authentic) trendy bar in Frankfurt. The ambience typical of the scene, very friendly service and excellent cuisine have attracted me to this exceptional restaurant when I am in Frankfurt for many years. I recently attracted a diverse group of 15 people to the restaurant for dinner and everyone loved it.

Restaurant found by chance in Sachsenhausen. Interesting retro 50s style. Friendly service, good food. You feel comfortable here.

Very tasty food, vegetarian and vegan dishes lovingly decorated and absolutely delicious. We got there right at 5 p.m. and managed to get a seat without a reservation. Cozy atmosphere, the chairs could use a seat cushion. Warm welcome, service very good. Thank you very much, we'll be happy to come back.

Rating for “The Bridge” in Sachsenhausen “Die Brücke” in Sachsenhausen is not my favorite café, even though it does have some nice aspects. The food in particular is really good, there's nothing wrong with that. The dishes are tasty prepared and one can definitely expect a tasty meal here. What bothers me, however, is the chalkboard, which I find very confusing. It's difficult to decipher the food on offer, which quickly becomes frustrating. In addition, the service leaves a lot to be desired. It often feels like an eternity before you are served, and that really dampens the mood. The overall atmosphere is very “hipster”, which may certainly be appealing to many, but for me it doesn't exude the desired charm of a relaxed café visit. Overall, I would only recommend “The Bridge” to a limited extent – ​​the food is definitely a plus, but the service and atmosphere drag the overall experience down. Therefore I give 3 stars.

Very good, varied and fresh food in a cozy atmosphere and with great service and good music. Partly organic, partly regional and definitely well-selected products - when it comes to food and drinks :-)

A journey back in time to the 1930s with the ambience 💕 A dream... The culinary delights are second to none. The hours spent there will be remembered.

Great place that we discovered by chance. From outside we were struck by the large blackboard with the dishes there and the warmth of the place... we went in to have a beer and in the end we even ended up having dessert. Total friendliness of both waiters, relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, and if you add to that homemade food made with love and delicious, you couldn't ask for more. Well yes, it's also not expensive... just spectacular. Thank you so much!!!

Wir waren Samstagabend ohne Reservierung in der Brücke. Die vegetarischen Gerichte wie gegrilltes Gemüse mit Halloumi und die Kürbislasagne waren Traum 🥰 Die Bedienung ist sehr aufmerksam und wir mussten nicht lange warten. Wir kommen gerne wieder 🤗

Keine ausschweifende Karte aber tolles Essen mit wöchentlich wechselndem Gerichten. Sehr freundliche und sympathische Bedienung. Beim Ambiente hat man aus wenigen Möglichkeiten viel heraus geholt. Alles in allem ein rundum empfehlenswertes Restaurant. Preise auch völlig im Rahmen! 5/5 👍

Nettes Lokal, einfach und authentisch. Kein chichi, sondern eher alternativ. Es gibt keine Speisekarte, sondern das Menü steht auf Tafeln an der Wand. Immer frisch und lecker - und absolut seinen Preis wert. Ideal für einen besonderen Abend.

Das Essen war okay, es fehlte an Gewürz. Dennoch waren alle sehr freundlich und ich fühlte mich recht wohl.

Die Brücke Die Brücke ein kleine Restaurant im Stadtteil Alt Sachsenhausen in Frankfurt. Das kleine Restaurant ist im alten Kneipenstil gehalten. Es ist gemütlich eingerichtet. Im kleinen Innenhof befindet sich ein kleiner Biergarten der auch gemütlich ist. Hier kann man in Ruhe was tolles essen oder auch nur trinken. Das Essen hier hat einen typischen asiatischen, afrikanischen, Elsässer Einschlag, das Essen i,st nicht das übliche was man sonst so bekommt. Es ist sehr lecker. Multikulturelle Küche. Sehr interessant für Sachsenhausen. Der Personal seeeehr nett und aufmerksam. Preisleistungsverhältnis jedoch etwas hoch. Aber es hat sich gelohnt. Danke. Gruß Alexander
